Attention to Detail

Attention to detail is on a 1 - 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.

For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.

CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

Dr. Lee is very direct. He tells it like it is which I appreciated. He answers every question asked. He can be a little socially awkward at times but in a friendly way. He can be as aggressive or as lax as a patient wants to be while keeping the goals and safety of his patients at the forefront...Every time we visited the office, we saw Dr. Lee himself, he always remembered us - both my partner and I
The [Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine] clinic is very small which we found to be a big strength. There were appointments that fit into our schedule and we’re flexible. There were late afternoon appointments and early morning appointments. The clientele of the office is not LGBTQ+ - they are mostly Orthodox women... There were never hoops to jump through and never required us to do the things that are required of heterosexual patients

Dr. Lee is very direct. He tells it like it is which I appreciated. He answers every question asked. He can be a little socially awkward at times but in a friendly way. He can be as aggressive or as lax as a patient wants to be while keeping the goals and safety of his patients at the forefront.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Will Lee at Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine (closed)?
Come in with clear goals and boundaries
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Will Lee at Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine (closed)?
Every time we visited the office, we saw Dr. Lee himself, he always remembered us - both my partner and I - knew details of our lives, answered every question that we had, listened to our concerns and responded effectively and appropriately. He presented options and information and let us decide the path forward. He texted with us outside of appointments and helped us have access to outside information, resources and financial assistance.
Describe the protocols Will Lee used in your cycles at Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine (closed) and their degree of success.
We did 6 IUI cycles with Dr. Lee. 2 were in medicated and 4 were medicated with letrezole and a trigger shot. I was never pregnant from the IUIs
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine (closed).
We very infrequently dealt with nurses. There is a phlebotomist in the office and an ultrasound technician in addition to Dr. Lee and his partner Dr. Roshan. We dealt with nurses on the phone when we called but that was infrequent. Dr. Lee’s office is smoothly run and we never had to track down the nursing staff to get them to do what was promised. They sent prescriptions in a timely fashion, made follow up appointments with us, sent us information By email. We didn’t realize how exceptional this was until we went to other clinics. We hardly had to advocate for ourselves at Dr. Lee’s office because we were taken care of.

The clinic is very small which we found to be a big strength. There were appointments that fit into our schedule and we’re flexible. There were late afternoon appointments and early morning appointments. The clientele of the office is not LGBTQ+ - they are mostly Orthodox women. In Covid, this was a strength because they let my female partner into the office when they weren’t letting male partners into the office since they deemed her a patient after having one baseline appointment. There were never hoops to jump through and never required us to do the things that are required of heterosexual patients. For example, other offices have made my partner do an STD test before an IUI - this was never required at Rosh. Other offices required us to speak to a social worker, this was never required at Rosh. Other offices required us to bring our marriage license to appointments so that my partner could come in with me - this was never required at Rosh. The one big weakness for us was that the IUIs took place at a genetic center outside of the office since the Rosh doesn’t have capacity for storing sperm/eggs/doing transfers etc. The IUIs were not covered by our insurance and the genetic center has a flat fee for using their services and were not willing to negotiate with us on the cost.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Will Lee at Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine (closed).
The fees at Dr. Lee’s office were minimal - especially after going to other clinics. I received blood work and an ultrasound at every appointment and only paid my copay. Dr. Lee’s office connected us to a discount pharmacy where we received the required medications at a lower cost and were able to enroll in the compassionate care program on top of the already established discounts. The big cost was the actual IUI itself - I believe this was $800 each IUI.
Describe Will Lee's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine (closed).
We did not do embryo transfers with Dr. Lee

He explains to me what to expect, he shows me a chart and the cycle where I’m at. He will tell me how many eggs were retrieved, the size and which ones will be mature for the cycle. He makes me at ease and gives me hope.... Dr Will helps me stay positive and not to give up. He even gave me an example of another woman of my age who had multiple IVFs and IUIs but ended up being pregnant. He always smiles and makes me comfortable. I
I would avoid going there Friday because the wait time will be over an hour past your appointment time. This clinic has 2 facilities and the one on Madison is the one I go to. The one weakness of this place is billing. I have to call their offsite billing department to push the outstanding balance so that I can pay in their office. The staff and nurses are efficient and I don’t spend more than 30min -1 hour to get a blood test, sonogram and see Dr Lee.

Dr Will helps me stay positive and not to give up. He even gave me an example of another woman of my age who had multiple IVFs and IUIs but ended up being pregnant. He always smiles and makes me comfortable. I like when he tells me after each IUI to have positive thoughts and come back pregnant.
Describe the protocols Will Lee used in your cycles at Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine (closed) and their degree of success.
Before we even started an IUI, he cleaned my tubes and told me to watch my cycle and ovulation using the ovulation kit as my hormone levels were fine and I was producing eggs. We tried naturally twice and then with Ovidrel but it didn’t work so we did 4 IUIs. Once my partner had close to 0 sperm so he had to see a urologist. We did another IUI last month which failed.
