This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
He’ll crack jokes to lighten the mood, which really helped put me at ease when we’re dealing with such a stressful topic ... He tested my husbands testosterone level, which was never done with our previous doctor. He ordered ultrasounds for me at cycle day 3 and on cycle day 12 he did a test that shows if my husbands sperm is surviving in me and to test my mucus.

I love the ability to come in for lab work at anytime in the allotted time slot they give you instead of scheduling for a specific time. How was your experience with Zvi Binor at Rush-Copley Medical Group (closed)?
Dr. Binor makes you feel comfortable from the second he sits down with you. He is very down to earth and gives you answers even if it’s not what you want to hear. He’s honest about issues and treatment and doesn’t try to sugar coat anything or push treatments just to make money. He’ll crack jokes to lighten the mood, which really helped put me at ease when we’re dealing with such a stressful topic. When we first sat down for our consultation I was nervous because he didn’t even have any of our paper work that was transferred from our previous doctor. He started talking and he knew every issue and every test that we had done previously without referring to any notes! I was amazed he took the time to review our file in such detail that he didn’t even need to bring in our files to reference. He drew pictures so we could understand exactly what he was he was talking about and suggested for a plan moving forward and explained each test so we knew what we could expect. Our other fertility doctor wasn’t concerned about my huge fibroid but Dr. Binor said he needed to know everything about it before he could give us an answer on why previous IUI’s didn’t work. Turns out it needed to be removed and he referred us to another doctor for my surgery. He said he’s sending me to a nationally recognized doctor for fibroid removal. He said he could remove it but this doctor was even better than him at it and it doesn’t hurt his ego to say he’s not the best at something. He truly wants to give us answers (even if they’re bad) and give us the best treatment and care we can get.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Zvi Binor at Rush-Copley Medical Group (closed)?
If you haven’t been able to find answers and have been struggling for years Dr. Binor is the doctor to go to for help. Be open minded and know that some of the answers might hurt but at least they’re answers instead of never knowing what the issue is.

Dr. Binor and his entire staff made us feel so welcomed and fully explained everything in great detail. He took his time with us in each appointment and never made us feel like our questions were dumb or pushed treatment that we didn’t want to do. He understands the money aspect of infertility and leaves all decisions in our hands instead of pushing the most expensive treatment and testing. Our first consultation he came in the room without notes on my husband and I and knew every issue that we had. He did his studying before he met with us.

He ordered ultrasounds for me at cycle day 3 and on cycle day 12 he did a test that shows if my husbands sperm is surviving in me and to test my mucus. Again, another test that wasn’t done with our previous doctor. Then he did blood work for me to test if I was releasing an egg. He also ordered an MRI on my uterine fibroid to make sure he had every detail of it.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Rush-Copley Medical Group (closed).
The nurses are wonderful. They are so caring and are truly concerned about you. They explain in detail what they’re doing during testing and go into detail about what the test is for and what they’re looking for. If I had a question they didn’t know the answer to they found out for me and came right back in the room with an answer.

The office is inviting and the staff is friendly when you’re signing in for appointments. They’re easy to set up appointments with and great about reminders and answering questions you have. The only thing I would say is a weakness is that compared to my last doctor the office always knew me when I came in and greeted me by name and they didn’t here. Maybe because I haven’t had too many visits yet or maybe there are multiple appointments at the same time and they don’t want to call someone by the wrong name. Overall the clinic is wonderful though. I love the ability to come in for lab work at anytime in the allotted time slot they give you instead of scheduling for a specific time. It works well with not having to miss too much work in the mornings for testing.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Zvi Binor at Rush-Copley Medical Group (closed).
The cost with Dr. Binor has been a little lower than my previous fertility doctor. Some of the testing I thought would be expensive turned out to be cheaper than what I thought. The nurses gave us the costs of all testing before we did it too.

Clomid from days 3-7. Then follistim 50 units with blood work and ultrasounds every day or two days to see the size of the follicles. Once the follicles were the right size would have to inject ovidrel the trigger shot. After that was instructed to have timed Intercourse for the next 3 days and then start progesterone orally. They would give a date to come back for an ultrasound to make sure the follicles released and then would give a date to check for pregnancy.

I started with a clomid cycle for my first IUI of 150mg. My estrogen was too high later on so I started taking progesterone 150mg after a few days. That cycle was not successful. For the second cycle I took 200 mg of clomid and had very large follicles. We used the ovidrel trigger shot and then did the iui same day. I am currently in the two week wait.

Dr. Binor has amazing bedside manor and uses humor often. My wife is obese and he didn’t mention her weight whatsoever in any negative way. You can tell by how he talks he is extremely knowledgeable and wants us to succeed!...is a sweet man who really takes the time to explain the process to his patients. He literally drew us pictures to show how everything works...I felt like we were his only patients and he was going to do everything in his power to get us pregnant.
The clinic [Rush-Coplet Medical Group] took both my wife’s and my insurance cards during our first visit, which I thought was weird since my wife was doing IUI, not me. So I wasn’t ready for my photo to be taken by staff either. They communication is strong, but they sometimes have weird hours during the week, so it’s hard to find a time to call sometimes. Other than that, they’re amazing!

I don’t recall all of the names of the drugs. Dr. Binor said our wallet is the number one thing on his mind and he wanted to get us pregnant as soon as he could. He had us talk to maternal fetal medicine since my wife is obese. Then he did an HSG to make sure her tubes were clear. Then he started us on clomid with a trigger shot and inseminated about 30 hours after trigger.

[Dr. Binor] does very well with explaining the process. with male infertility playing a part he explained how sperm develop and even drew a picture to help us understand. He very compassionate and sees you as a client not how much money he can make. He has worked with us financially and looks out for our well being including the pocketbook. The only draw back to the clinic is the appointment times. It is hard to see him because he is the only one in the office.
[Rush-Copley Medical Group] is a great place. It provides you will a feeling of safety while teaching you along your journey. The only weakness i have is the appointment scheduling. Due to it only being one doctor appointments take a while with IVF and IUI procedures happening...Everyone in the office is very nice. I do not have a everyday name and i can honestly say they not only know my name but know how to pronounce it correctly.

We started with wanting to try medication. He indicated it would give us a good understanding. Going into the office a HSG had already been completed. With four failed clomid tries he wanted to test the sperm again and found the count was low as well as the movement. He is recommending IVF at this point.

We have talked about IVF but not how many he would like to transfer. He however has said he wants to lower the chance of having multiples.
Dr Binor really takes the time to explain the physiological aspects of infertility and uses diagrams to aide in his explanations. When our IVF was unsuccessful, he was genuinely disappointed. I would have liked him to be more open about his thoughts on success given my diagnosis. When I did ask about this his response was along the lines of , "just think positive." He was the 1st doctor my husband and I went to and we were overall impressed from day one.
Smaller clinic [Rush-Copley] which adds personalized touch. The staff from the front desk, nurses, ultrasound tech, and phlebotomist getotnobknow youband make you feel as comfortable as possible. It should be noted there is no real system in place to answer questions after hours. Another improvement would be a more detailed online portal...The nursing staff was wonderful. They always were available to answer questions and also gave thorough explanations for what to expect. Many times I would get the nurse directly when calling. Anytime I left a message on the nurse line, I never had to worry about getting a return call. It shuloukd be noted this clinic is not opened on the weekends at all. There were several times I would have to take an order for bloodwork to a Quest lab on a Saturday

3 IUIs with clomid
3 IUIs with injectibles
My insurance required this before moving onto IVF. These were unsuccessful. It should be noted at this clinic the nurses perform the IUIs.
IVF # 1: BCP + Follistim + Ganirelix + HCG trigger. Transferred 2 embryos. Used oral progesterone and HCG boosters
This was unsuccessful
IVF#2: Similiar protocol but used combination of Follistim & Menopur for stimulation. Only 2 eggs were retrieved and embryos did not make it to transfer.
