Attention to Detail

Attention to detail is on a 1 - 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.

For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.

CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

[Dr. Erik Mazur is] Kind, compassionate, well spoken, educated. I am completely comfortable asking questions and don’t ever feel rushed or like an inconvenience. We recently got the news that’s IVF is likely the only thing that will work for us and he was very caring and understanding about how hard that was to hear. I can hear in his voice the determination he has for helping us reach our dream of becoming parents...When we found out I didn’t have endometriosis but I did have a ton of scar tissue/damaged tubes, he said we could do a monitored femara cycle to see how I respond which we are in the middle of now, our next step will be IVF if the femara does not work.
[The nurses at Seattle Reproductive Medicine are] Very kind and caring. Always seem happy to be there and eager to help. They ask how you’re doing, if you need anything, etc. Very professional yet personable...He [Dr. Mazur] referred us to a surgeon for an endometrial laparoscopic surgery. Dr Mazur, was great to work with! He took the time needed to answer all of our questions and made sure we were comfortable with the process...[he] was accommodating and update on how he prescribed medication. I asked if I could avoid needles and he had zero issues with it...we only talked about transferring one [embryo]
[the SRM nurses] communicated in a timely fashion and were happy to answer any questions I had along the way...We paid around $30,000 for treatment...They seem like a large practice but are able to focus on each patient in a kind and caring manner. My experience was great and I highly recommend SRM! I feel fortunate that SRM was able to help grow our family.
How was your experience with Erik Mazur at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Dr Mazur is terrific and if we try another transfer I will fly cross country to see him and the SRM staff. I recommend him to anyone needing fertility treatment. It was a fluke I ended up with him but I’m so happy I did!

We did an IUI with my husband fresh sperm [with Dr. Nichole Barker]. We used letrazole and FSH. It is called a blended cycle. I am 40 years old so we needed to be a bit more aggressive with my treatments. My IUI was a success on our first round!...She is so positive and hopeful. She really cares about her patients...Had a good attitude and listened to my concerns. She did my IUI and was very gentle with an excellent bedside manner. The clinic staff were always nice and answered my questions. The ultrasound tech was also very nice and explained everything to me.

Dr. Mazur was very nice and straight forward when we were consulting with him on our fertility treatment plan...we felt confident that we would be able to get pregnant with a couple of attempts at IUI using donor sperm. We were able to get pregnant after 1 attempt...the only time where we felt a bit more like a number was during out ultrasound appointment with him. It was a very in and out experience and one of the more painful transvaginal ultrasounds I've had.
SRM is a wonderful resource, I know that our specific situation was easy for them to create a care plan for. But I would trust them in a more difficult situation. The doctors and nurses are very helpful, and SRM even sets you up with mental health counseling to get through the process. That was probably our favorite part of the process, because it answered so many questions for us...All of my nurses were great, they answered my questions quickly and efficiently. They were also very kind and helpful when I went in for my in person appointments at both the Tacoma location and the Seattle location.
How was your experience with Erik Mazur at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Friendly and straightforward in our consultation with him, he outlined every step of the process for us, and provided me excellent care before and after the confirmed pregnancy. He just needs to slow down a little, at his in person appointments.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Erik Mazur at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
I would say trust his judgement, but remember that he and the other staff at SRM let you ultimately decide your care plan.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Erik Mazur at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Dr. Mazur was very nice and straight forward when we were consulting with him on our fertility treatment plan. After our first meeting with him, we felt confident that we would be able to get pregnant with a couple of attempts at IUI using donor sperm. We were able to get pregnant after 1 attempt, which is wonderful, the only time where we felt a bit more like a number was during out ultrasound appointment with him. It was a very in and out experience and one of the more painful transvaginal ultrasounds I've had. (I have strained pelvic floor muscles and before I even had a chance to explain that he was putting it in saying that it was probably going to hurt.) Overall though, he is nice, and we ended up with the results we were aiming for.
Describe the protocols Erik Mazur used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
For us it was fairly straight forward. My husband through genetic testing had previously discovered that he was 100% sterile. He has a genetic condition where he has two full XX chromosomes with a partial Y stuck to one of them. We went into our meeting with Mazur knowing his diagnosis and that we would need donor sperm. I was the only unknown factor because I have never been pregnant before. And I have slightly elevated testosterone (no PCOS) He figured that we would just need a couple of attempts at IUI for it to work. For our IUI I opted into just tracking my ovulations with OPKs, had the first attempt not been successful I would of tried injections. I was testing for almost a year before our IUI happened, so I had a good idea of when I would be ovulating.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Erik Mazur at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Doctor consultation, counseling session, blood draws, genetic testing, IUI procedure, and then pregnancy confirmation and care I probably spent around $2,000 out of pocket with SRM. That's not including any of the costs around getting donor sperm.

Dr. Barker took time to carefully craft a treatment plan for me that fit the needs of my health and beliefs. She was very sensitive to our desires not to PGS test, and did not push it. I did not want to create "too many" embryos, as I would want to transfer all at some point, and Dr. Barker took this concern seriously and professionally set about creating a plan...I only have one kidney, which could mean a high-risk pregnancy. Dr. Barker did not want to transfer more than one embryo for this reason
The entire staff at SRM are caring, professional, and sensitive to the unique struggles patients face as they go through infertility. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone. There were always the same faces for every appointment, so I got to know the receptionists and techs well...Courtney [nurse] was amazing! She answered all of my questions through the portal very quickly and with detail...When Courtney wasn't available, there was always another nurse to answer my questions that had full access to my information, so I never felt like I repeated myself.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Nichole Barker at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Insurance covered most of my treatment. I paid my OOP max, then about $2,000 for ICSI that wasn't covered, and $900 to freeze my remaining embryos.
Describe Nichole Barker's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
I only have one kidney, which could mean a high-risk pregnancy. Dr. Barker did not want to transfer more than one embryo for this reason, and transferring multiples was not something we discussed further.

[Dr. Barker has] A great combination of thorough in explaining the medicine and caring. I didn't meet super-often with her, but my case was fairly straightforward and didn't require a lot of special attention or protocol adjustments...Dr Barker has never been the one to do my embryo transfers and did not do my retrieval. I know this matters a lot to some people. I originally thought a personal touch would be important to me, but at the end of the day, convenience and the ability to cater to my body's schedule were more important to me....
While SRM has more of a "factory" feel, the most important things to me are quick response times and willingness to work on my body's natural schedule as much as possible...Making it easy to schedule treatments, appointments, etc. made the whole process just a little less stressful...They are great at responding to portal messages... While SRM has more of a "factory" feel, the most important things to me are quick response times and willingness to work on my body's natural schedule as much as possible. Dr. Barker and my nurses have always supported that and have always been super-responsive. Making it easy to schedule treatments, appointments, etc. made the whole process just a little less stressful.
Describe the protocols Nichole Barker used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
Fairly standard, I think. We agreed to try several IUIs before moving onto IVF. Although my fourth and final IUI resulted in a chemical, we decided that it was still best to move forward with IVF. I did request that I not have to take birth control prior to any of my cycles (retrieval or FET), and Dr. Barker has respected that. I think I had a fairly standard stimulation protocol, though I can't remember the details. I produced ~29 eggs, of which ~19 fertilized and 12 or so made it to PGS testing, and 4 of which were found to be PGS-normal. So far we have had 3 successful transfers and have 1 remaining frozen embryo.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
I've had a couple, since I've been at the clinic for several years now. My nurses have both been super-responsive and helpful.
Describe your experience with Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Strengths: Convenience. As a large clinic, they are able to cater to my schedule (and my body's schedule) much more than some of the other clinics in the area, from what I've heard. They also had a location in Tacoma right near my work, which made it so much easier to schedule the many, many monitoring appointments. They are great at responding to portal messages and make calling them pretty easy as well. Weaknesses: You don't get as much of a personal touch. For example, Dr Barker has never been the one to do my embryo transfers and did not do my retrieval. I know this matters a lot to some people. I originally thought a personal touch would be important to me, but at the end of the day, convenience and the ability to cater to my body's schedule were more important to me.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Nichole Barker at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
I don't remember exactly, but prices were higher than the lowest cost clinic in the area but not the highest cost clinic in the area.
Describe Nichole Barker's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Dr Barker was clear that she does not recommend multiple embryo transfers for most patients.

Dr. Mazur is an excellent doctor. He explains things very clearly and has compassion for his patients. I appreciated he had reviewed my background and acknowledged where I was in the journey/process...we should no longer waste money on injections and IUIs and begin to save for IVF. We were given the option to try Clomid because it was cheap. We decided to do that. The first cycle I responded; however had unclear OPKs. The next cycle I advocated to try a trigger injection with the clomid and we had success.
[SRM] Strengths: Ease of scheduling appointments Online portal for communication Variety of knowledgeable doctors Facilities are clean and comfortable Weakness: Patients are treated like a number. There really is no individualized treatment. Financial team can be difficult to work with. More expensive than other clinics...[nurses] kept in constant communication with me through the portal
How was your experience with Erik Mazur at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Dr. Mazur is an excellent doctor. He explains things very clearly and has compassion for his patients. I appreciated he had reviewed my background and acknowledged where I was in the journey/process. He made me believe that we could get pregnant - even after several failed treatment cycles with another doctor.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Erik Mazur at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Do not hesitate to ask questions!
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Erik Mazur at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
SRM did not approach my case from an individualized stance but rather another number/patient. Very little testing was done and no discussion of supplements were ever had. Often times, I had to advocate for my care/treatment.
Describe the protocols Erik Mazur used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
Prior to seeing Dr. Mazur, I had two failed medicated and injectable timed intercourse cycles and three failed medicated and injectable IUI cycles. The precious doctor kept doing all the same things in each cycle and we felt like we needed to change the approach if we wanted different results. During Covid, I did my own work with nutrition and suppliments to restore normal cycles. We went to Dr. Mazur for a second opinion and he instilled confidence that I would be able to get pregnant naturally. However, we should no longer waste money on injections and IUIs and begin to save for IVF. We were given the option to try Clomid because it was cheap. We decided to do that. The first cycle I responded; however had unclear OPKs. The next cycle I advocated to try a trigger injection with the clomid and we had success.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Seattle Reproductive Medicine. (Assigned nurse: Kristy)
Kristy kept in constant communication with me through the portal. (My previous SRM nurses would take days to respond to questions and Kristy was very on top of it, usually responding within a hour or two).
Describe your experience with Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Strengths: Ease of scheduling appointments Online portal for communication Variety of knowledgeable doctors Facilities are clean and comfortable Weakness: Patients are treated like a number. There really is no individualized treatment. Financial team can be difficult to work with. More expensive than other clinics.
What specific things went wrong at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
  • Failed to order appropriate test
Describe the specific things that went wrong at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
SRM failed to perform basic diagnostic testing (such as HSG) prior to treatment. I was dismissed when I asked about getting one performed to a nurse with previous doctor at SRM. I advocated with my own OB/GYN to have this done before continuing treatments with SRM and another provider.

Originally we did IUI and after 4 unsuccessful cycles we added clomid. After two cycles of that with increased doses she [Dr. Nichole Barker] was good about explaining the likelihood of continuing and recommended moving to IVF. We conceived on our first cycle with a fresh transfer. This resulted in a healthy baby boy...We feel our doctor did a good job of explaining her reasoning for only transferring single embryos in the past. Our current cycle is the first time we have transferred more than one at a time and there wer specifically different circumstances to support that decision.
She [nurse at Seattle Reproductive Medicine] is super responsive, knowledgeable and very compassionate...Be prepared to see many different faces throughout your treatment. Everyone is great but it can be a little unsettling to have so many different people administering your care. Just know that they all do a really good job of communicating with each other...We recently came back and are in the middle of a cycle now. The only change this time is we added omnitrope injections and results are so far the best cycle with two good rated embryos and two fair rated embryos. This cycle we also transferred two embryos at a time instead of just one.
How was your experience with Nichole Barker at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Dr. Barker has been through IVF herself and was candid in sharing her experience with us which was amazing. She is down to earth, incredibly warm and caring. She is easy to like and comes across as very genuine. I would and have recommended her to several of my friends and family. I truly cannot day enough nice things about her and the care we have received from her. Hands down the best medical professional I have ever experienced.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Nichole Barker at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Don’t be afraid to ask her anything! She truly gets it and will give you a straight, honest answer with no judgement.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Nichole Barker at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
From our first meeting with Dr. Barker, I never felt rushed or like I didn’t have her full attention. At our first meeting she had clearly reviewed our questionnaire and had notes and made us feel like she was truly engaged in helping us to achieve a family. We took two years away from the process and upon meeting with her agin to re-establish care, we were greeted with a hug and were made to feel as if we had just met a week ago. She was up to speed on all of our past treatment as if no time had lapsed.
Describe the protocols Nichole Barker used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
We had unexplained fertility so our treatment was pretty standard and didn’t change much. Originally we did IUI and after 4 unsuccessful cycles we added clomid. After two cycles of that with increased doses she was good about explaining the likelihood of continuing and recommended moving to IVF. We conceived on our first cycle with a fresh transfer. This resulted in a healthy baby boy. When we came back to try to expand our family we continued through a frozen cycle and two additional egg retrievals. One resulted in a chemical pregnancy and one other in a miscarriage at 9 weeks. No changes were made in any of those cycles. The miscarriage was after our 3rd egg retrieval and fresh transfer and decided to take a break. We recently came back and are in the middle of a cycle now. The only change this time is we added omnitrope injections and results are so far the best cycle with two good rated embryos and two fair rated embryos. This cycle we also transferred two embryos at a time instead of just one.

We have insurance that was pretty good. Medication was our largest expense and was roughly 4500$ per IVF cycle.

Dr. Barker communicates very well. She is also very detailed in her explanations as to what is happening at the time. My experience as a patient with her is just phenomenal! I absolutely adore her. She is quick to get back to you with any questions you may have... diagnosed me with pcos...so she prescribed me metformin to regulate my cycles, and letrozole...I did end up pregnant with twins! Unfortunately, my twins quit growing and I miscarried. I am not giving up hope, as we are trying again with the same method.
We are still trying out with letrozole and metformin and timed intercourse [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine]...I have no weaknesses to tell. The whole clinic is just awesome and compassionate! I feel amazing after each visit. They are so quick to answer questions and to make sure everything is going great! I would totally recommend this clinic over and over again!...The whole team is just amazing and makes me feel welcomed on each visit. I couldn’t ask for a better team.

Dr. Barker is just simply AMAZING. She has answered every question in detail to where I can understand what is going on. I’ve recommended her to all of my friends who are having fertility issues. Dr. Barker shows compassion and is just awesome! I lost my twins at 7 weeks and she had personally called me to check up on me after my D&C. I couldn’t ask for a better Fertility Specialist. Dr. Barker is number one in my book.

Dr. Barker wasn’t present at every small visit (ie ultrasound or blood draw) but she was always available if I ever needed her. She was always reviewing my chart and making adjustments as she saw necessary...always asked or gave me options regarding which strategy we would go with. She knew that I really wanted to avoid multiples and we weren’t as much in a ‘hurry’ like we were when trying to get pregnant with the first baby. She also knew that because our insurance had changed since the last treatment a couple years prior, we didn’t have as much coverage so we were ok with going a little less aggressive/ slower.
[The staff at Seattle Reproductive Medicine are] very relatable, empathetic and definitely work to build those personal relationships with patients. I have absolutely nothing negative to say...Lexie, my nurse care coordinator wasn’t located in the office. I thought this was weird at first since I’ve still never met her in person, but after having her throughout my first treatment and this one, she’s the best. All communication is done via email or phone but you still really develop that relationship as if you’ve met. My nurse that did most of my ultrasounds Was Ruby Booras. She was just as amazing. She was always so nice and personable and we also developed a great relationship. There was another nurse Whitney that would do my ultrasounds when I couldn’t get in with Ruby and she wasn’t as personable in my opinion. Still nice enough, but didn’t have the similar demeanor as Ruby or Dr Barker.

The clinic itself is extremely clean. The waiting room is small and can get a little cozy on a busy day, which can definitely be uncomfortable when you’re waiting with other emotional women and men. Other than that, the front desk staff seemed to change frequently but were always nice enough. Wait times weren’t often too long and if you did have to wait a bit, they were apologetic.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Nichole Barker at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Everything was submitted to insurance and we were responsible for the balance.

We did a HSG [with Dr. Nichole Barker] to make sure my tubes weren’t blocked and then we did a round of Clomid with an HCG injection and a timed intercourse which resulted in a chemical miscarriage. 2 more rounds of Clomid without any US or injection and no pregnancy... is exceptional and made me and my spouse feel comfortable and knowledgeable about our fertility issues and answered every concern and or questions we had and still have in our journey. She has compassion for her patient’s and makes them feel like they aren’t alone in this isolating process.
The location [of Seattle Reproductive Medicine] is a little hard to get to but not terrible. The atmosphere is very calming, stress free and inviting and the staff are very sincere in their work. We have always had a great experience. A new patient might want to know that most of the procedures take place in clinic and it’s very comfortable and clean...Anna is a fantastic nurse who has shown me such compassion and empathy with my fertility struggles and miscarriages. She always responds to my emails very quickly and kindly and if she doesn’t know the answer she is honest and always gets back to me with some kind of solution. She is a keeper!

[Dr. Nichole Barker is a] Great listener...Very personable, explains things well. I felt we discussed my history and came up with a game plan for me. Instead of being told what to do next. She has never made me feel rushed during appointments and always made sure all my questions were answered before leaving...I have done two IUI. The first I only used oral medication Letrozole . The second I did I did oral medication Letrozole and one injection (trigger) Having a hard time predicting my ovulation due to endometriosis I am getting set to do another IUI at the end of this month (April 2019). I am taking oral meds Letrozole and this time I am doing 4 FSH injections with a trigger shot before the IUI. If this IUI fails we will be doing IVF
Between the consultation the Ultrasound, medication and iUI it will be close to $1000 [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine]. Which is reasonable and they offer payment plans...From the moment I stepped into the clinic I felt that everyone there was extremely helpful and kind and made sure that myself and my husband understood the information that was being given... When my nurse was out I reached out and another nurse took care of my questions and concerns and I didn’t feel blown off that my nurse was out.

I felt he [Dr. Paul Dudley] did a great job explaining everything to us. Even drawing and mapping out everything on paper. We didn’t feel rushed and we felt he wanted the best possible outcome and success for my husband and I...I wouldn’t say Dr. Dudley is a personable man but he seemed like a straight shooter and we liked that about him and that is why we went back when we were trying for another child...since everything was so straight forward and all my blood work looked great we did an embryo transfer with no meds and used an opk to test when I ovulated.
They [nurses at SRM] were friendly and personable. They also were very good at explaining our plan and all the info that went with it...I think the only thing I would like to know is more info about the thawing process. We lost 2 embryos in the thawing process. I feel every department financial, dr and nurses all ran pretty well. I guess you could say a well oiled machine. My only complaint is how expensive it is to get a baby. I wish insurance companies would cover ivf. I know there are some companies that provide insurance that do but unfortunately we don’t work for companies that have insurance that provide that coverage.
How was your experience with Paul Dudley at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
I felt I was very informed and everything was easy to understand. Given the fact there were so many details that go into IVF, I felt confident in all the knowledge that was given to me. I wouldn’t say Dr. Dudley is a personable man but he seemed like a straight shooter and we liked that about him and that is why we went back when we were trying for another child.

First round- I was under the category of unexplained infertility. But my blood tests, hormones, tests and my husbands sperm count was all normal so my plan was pretty straight forward. On day 4 of my cycle I started bc pills. On day 9 I had OH uterine sounding. Day 24 did injection training and began luteal Lupron. Husband takes Zithromax. Day 28 take last bc. Day 32 suppression check. Day 34 start follistim and menopur. Bloodwork and ultrasounds in between. Day 45 hcg shot. Day 47 egg retrieval. Day 53 embryo transfer. This round resulted a pregnancy and live birth. 2 1/2 years later since everything was so straight forward and all my blood work looked great we did an embryo transfer with no meds and used an opk to test when I ovulated. Then used progesterone. That resulted in no pregnancy. The following cycle we did another round but this time did meds Lupron, Vivelle, and progesterone and that resulted in a pregnancy but ended in a miscarriage.

I guess you could say a well oiled machine. My only complaint is how expensive it is to get a baby. I wish insurance companies would cover ivf. I know there are some companies that provide insurance that do but unfortunately we don’t work for companies that have insurance that provide that coverage.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Paul Dudley at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
I think the first round was about $12,000 and of course more costs for meds. Then when we did the 2nd and 3rd rounds were about $3000 each with the 3rd costing more money for meds
Describe Paul Dudley's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Because I have had a previous pregnancy and no history of miscarriages and all our tests were normal for the most part Dr. Dudley recommended we only transfer one embryo because he believed we would have a high chance of twins.

Dr. Barker was very sensitive and kind when going through treatment. She had empathy considering she had to go through IVF to conceive as well. Also, she showed no judgement when we specifically went through ivf with PGD for genetic reasons. She was wonderful to work with...very communicative with what to expect. She was honest with what our setbacks could be and very professional. I was cautiously optimistic the treatments would work and we would get the outcome we desired, which we are fortunate to say we succeeded.
The [Seattle Reproductive Medicine] clinic was great, professional and clean. I would highly recommend this fertility clinic for anyone who needs to go through fertility treatments. They show compassion and kindness while going through this stressful process...Total cost was around 50,000 for 2 eggs retrieval’s and 2 FET’s...Dr. Barker was very communicative with what to expect. We started with menopur and Gonal f. I yielded 7 eggs the first egg retrieval, and had a total of 2 embryos frozen and biopsied for PGD. The next round the menopur dosage stayed the same and the gonal f dosage increased. I yielded 9 eggs during retrieval and had a total of 2 embryos frozen and biopsied for PGD. Of the 4 embryos, 2 were unaffected euploid embryos

Dr Barker was very warm and informative from our very first interaction. It was clear she took the time to understand our situation and formulate a plan that made sense for us. She made it clear she was available for questions along the way...very warm, she personalizes the care to each person. No weaknesses [with the nurses at Seattle Reproductive Medicine]. The nursing staff were all so kind. No judgment regarding an situation you were in...Strengths of this office is they are very willing to work with you financially. They let me pay monthly for all my check ups and ultrasounds. One downfall is if you are at the Tacoma location you have to go to Seattle for any iui procedures...150 per ultrasound iui was 650 plus all medications which ranges from 50 dollars up.

Dr. Barker was extremely empathetic when I did not become pregnant after my first doctor. Her comfort was much appreciated as well as her clinical opinion that I’d become pregnant at some point. I did!...is kind, knowledgeable, and practical. She gave us very good advice and allowed my husband and I to decide how aggressive we were with treatments. She also allowed us room to take breaks from treatment when it became emotionally exhausting.
Much communication [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine] occurs through a nurse via a web portal...I never got to meet my nurse in person but did build a good rapport with her electronically...With the attain program, we spent approximately 30,000 for IVF but that included up to three retrievals (I only needed one) and unlimited transfers until the first pregnancy...The clinic is always improving its client support and communication which is much appreciated. It nice to have a large team of practitioners to draw from so there is never a problem with timing or getting in for a particular appointment.

Nichole [Dr. Barker] made us feel very comfortable from the first meeting. Most of all she was encouraging and gave us hope. She answered all our questions and more. Having done treatment herself I felt like she knew more what we were going through...The first 3 rounds we did with clomid and trigger. I had good results and didnt have any side effects. Unfortunately none of the took. We decided to up our game before trying IVF. We have done 2 additional rounds with injections, trigger and prometrium. I again had good results but no pregnancy. I ended up getting cysts so we had to take a break but will try the protocol one more time before moving on to IVF.

Not good communication from the fertility clinic [from nurses at Seattle Reproductive Medicine] leading to frustration on several occasions...Not organized. Not much emotional support.
