This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
We went through 3 more cycles of Clomid increased to 100mg [with Dr. Jessica Jones]. For the fifth cycle I was offered the Ovidrel shot, this was a cycle without Clomid. They did an ultrasound and could see that I was ovulating on my own. I had no lab work until my beta and I had to ask them to test my progesterone as well. It was low so I was prescribed suppositories until I made it to 12 weeks.
The nurses [at Shoemaker OB-Gyn] are wonderful for the most part. They genuinely care. They showed more compassion throughout my miscarriages than the doctor did. They are also very quick to return your phone calls and address concerns.... I have been a patient at this clinic for years and the nurses have always been amazing. I have never had a problem until I tried to refill a medication that I had been put on for sleep after losing my son. The nurse was extremely rude and treated me like a drug addict, telling me that my 30 day prescription should be lasting me longer than the 42 days it already had.
How was your experience with Jessica Jones at Shoemaker OB-Gyn?
My first experience was for a pap smear when I could not get an appointment with the other doctor in the practice, Dr Shoemaker. I thought she had a wonderful personality and unlike some of the others very gentle.

Describe the protocols Jessica Jones used in your cycles at Shoemaker OB-Gyn and their degree of success.
Our first cycle was Clomid alone at 50 mg. The office called to tell me that it didn't work because my progesterone blood test showed that I hadn't ovulated. This was not true as I was indeed pregnant. I called to tell them I was pregnant and that my progesterone was too low to indicate ovulation. They made me wait 4 weeks to come in and it was determined at that appointment that I had a missed miscarriage. We went through 3 more cycles of Clomid increased to 100mg. At 17 week I went in to have my anatomy scan and was told my baby had literally died overnight. I was offered no additional testing by Dr Jones to determine why this kept happening. Any time I have asked questions or told her the observations of the ob that delivered my son I have been met with nothing but defensiveness.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Jessica Jones at Shoemaker OB-Gyn.
Dr. Shoemaker does an excellent job of making you feel comfortable, of adequately explaining procedures and results, and of remaining optimistic. One down side is you do not always see him since he is so busy.... I took ovidrel for one month until they determined I had a tubal blockage. He then referred me to another more specialized fertility doctor
The nursing staff [at Thomas Hospital Shoemaker] was kind and caring. They went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable. They always returned calls in a timely manner and always took the time to answer my questions, etc.... The clinic was very organized regarding billing, prescriptions, scheduling, etc. They also were very willing to work with my complicated schedule.

Within 24 hours I had been properly diagnosed with PCOS, my medication changed and had a new course of treatment for my next cycle.
Dr. Shoemaker and his office staff [m]ade each step in the process comfortable. Be patient. He's very busy. For good reason. He's the best. :)
How was your experience with Marshall Shoemaker (OB/GYN) at Shoemaker OB-Gyn?
My husband and I had been seeing another local doctor for fertility issues for about 2 years before we became a patient of Dr. Showmaker's. He took the time to listen to our history, fears and concerns before he did an examination and full blood work. Within 24 hours I had been properly diagnosed with PCOS, my medication changed and had a new course of treatment for my next cycle. I had one complete cycle on the new plan and by my next cycle I was pregnant.
