This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
Dr. Glock always listened to my concerns, and genuinely rooted for my success...He is a man of few words, but he was always on point with our treatment. He took time to listen to my needs and wants, and adjusted treatments accordingly. He always explained what he was doing, expecting, and what was to come...I was born with a uterus half the size of a normal woman, and I am missing my left Fallopian tube. We tried one round of clomid, without any egg response. Tried our first round of femera, and attempted an IUI, but no egg release. Ended up getting a cyst and had to take one cycle off. In January, we did our second cycle of femera, with egg response from my left side, so it was no good and a waiting game for the next cycle. With our third round of femera we used a trigger shot, with egg release, and my second IUI resulting in my first pregnancy!
[Southwest Florida Fertility Center's] strength is their willingness to listen to their patients, their quick responses to any change during a cycle, and their quick treatment and care. I never spent more than an hour at the office, which is great for a busy schedule. They always fit you into their schedule however it worked perfectly for you. A new patient should know it isn’t as scary as you’d expect. Trust the process!

Describe the protocols Jacob Glock used in your cycles at Southwest Florida Fertility Center and their degree of success.
For routine diagnostic testing, he performed an HSG, a radiographic procedure to assess the uterus and Fallopian tubes. I ended up having to go twice because the first picture did not come out clear, to no fault of Dr. Glock. Come to find out, I was born with a uterus half the size of a normal woman, and I am missing my left Fallopian tube. We tried one round of clomid, without any egg response. Tried our first round of femera, and attempted an IUI, but no egg release. Ended up getting a cyst and had to take one cycle off. Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Southwest Florida Fertility Center.
They are so sweet and we’re so excited for me when my IUI was successful!! They brought me in only 9 days after my IUI after a positive pregnancy test. They told me it was early to test, but would give it a try! Turns out, I was really pregnant! They brought me in one more time for a repeat blood draw, then 2 confirmation ultrasounds of pregnancy. Nursing staff was always wonderful and always open to questions.

Luckily, I have amazing insurance. So I only had a small $25 copay every time I went. Otherwise, my visits would cost a pretty penny. My insurance tried to deny one of my IUIs and they said it was $950! Wow. I’m a lucky few.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Southwest Florida Fertility Center.
When I got pregnant, they referred me to an OBGYN, and it was during COVID 19. Somewhere along the way, my chart did not get sent to my OBGYN, but there is no saying if it was because the fertility clinic or my OBGYN.
[Dr. Jacob Glock] was friendly and understanding, he spoke clearly to us with the risks and the percentage of success we had, he always spoke clearly in each consultation and tried to do what was possible...I believe that the protocol that he took should be different for each patient, we had sent him exams previously done more or less 2 or 4 months apart when the cycle began, and when we went to the first consultation that same day we He gave the cost and all the medicines that my cycle was going to have and despite the fact that on the first appointment starting the cycle he only saw an egg, he did not change anything of the medicines
[Southwest Florida Fertility Center nurse] was very kind and understanding and she was assigned to help us and translate everything that the doctor told us since we do not speak English, she was very kind patient and understanding she helped us a lot...it was almost 15 thousand with everything until freezing the embryos...

Dr. Jacabo was friendly and understanding, he spoke clearly to us with the risks and the percentage of success we had, he always spoke clearly in each consultation and tried to do what was possible so that our greatest dream came true. since we came from having seen a first opinion with another doctor, compared to dr jacob he was very human and compassionate since we are an immigrant couple in this country that does not have the resources dr jacob was very aware of that and I try that the cycle was as soon as possible and with the exams that the first doctor had done before...

we feel treated as humans looking for answers for our greatest longing as people as a couple, he and his group understood us and helped us to make the first cycle that my husband and I underwent come true, they explained us and we took great risks Until today April 21 2020 where they told us that the cycle failed because of the beta test that came out black, we have not yet gone to talk to them because we do not have enough strength!

Well, the truth is that I believe that the protocol that he took should be different for each patient, we had sent him exams previously done more or less 2 or 4 months apart when the cycle began, and when we went to the first consultation that same day we He gave the cost and all the medicines that my cycle was going to have and despite the fact that on the first appointment starting the cycle he only saw an egg, he did not change anything of the medicines, we hoped that he would, but he continued until the end

Describe Jacob Glock's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Southwest Florida Fertility Center.
I started the cycle on March 28, 2020 and for April 08 2020 it was the day of extraction, even though it had only produced a single embryo, on April 9 they called me saying that the embryo had fertilized well and on April 11 2020 they made the transfer when the embryo had 2 cells at that time he said that he did not want to take risks and that he wanted to implant it in me so that it could continue its evolution, and today April 21 2020 they gave me the test of exmamen where it came out negative
Jacob Glock was confident that he could get me pregnant. He was at every appointment and he was quick and didn't keep me waiting. He seems to have a somewhat dry personality, but he's still very nice, and he succeeded in getting me pregnant on the first try... Dr Glock looked over my file from the previous doctor. He changed some of the meds in my protocol, and the biggest difference is that he transferred my embryos at 3 days instead of 5.
They [Southwest Florida Fertility Ctr] are the best in the business, in my opinion. I won't go anywhere else. Dr Glock's team is pleasant to work with, caring, understanding, and they really want to succeed. One thing I liked is that even though it was my 3rd time trying IVF, Nicole still went over all the medications and how to use them, as if I had never done it. And she showed me an easier method than my previous doctor's office had. I also appreciated that Lori took the time to get to know me.

Jacob Glock was confident that he could get me pregnant. He was at every appointment and he was quick and didn't keep me waiting. What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Jacob Glock at Southwest Florida Fertility Center?
Go see him, because the other doctor in the area doesn't deserve your business. Dr. Glock will treat you like a human, not a study project for med students. Dr Glock is not condescending or rude. You won't be disappointed with Dr Glock.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Jacob Glock at Southwest Florida Fertility Center?
The office is small and with a small staff. Each time I checked out, Lori would talk to me and make me feel so cared for. It was a much nicer experience than the doctor I had come from.
Describe the protocols Jacob Glock used in your cycles at Southwest Florida Fertility Center and their degree of success.
Dr Glock looked over my file from the previous doctor. He changed some of the meds in my protocol, and the biggest difference is that he transferred my embryos at 3 days instead of 5. The previous doctor would only transfer at day 5, and my embryos died before he could transfer. So out of 3 embryos transferred on day 3, one implanted and I now have a beautiful 10 month old girl. Forever grateful to Dr. Glock.

Dr. Glock did not provide any individualized approach or personalized care...This experience should have been sufficient for me to understand that the doctor doesn’t have a control over my cycle and has not taken charge of my treatment and is not proving us with a personalized approach but rather one size fit all treatment plan
[Southwest Florida Fertility Center] Pros: ease for scheduling appointments and short wait time prior to visits. Cons: unprofessional staff, no privacy, no clear communication I was under Dr. Glock’s care... How was your experience with Jacob Glock at Southwest Florida Fertility Center?
I was under Dr. Glock’s care back in March, 2021. I was on 300 IU Gonad for a total of almost 10 days. While I was undergoing stimulation, I saw the doctor few times for ultrasound only. There was no clear communication of how my cycle was going and there was no blood work to confirm the right dosage of meds. Dr. Glock changed the date of administering Cetrotide (the injection that prevents you from naturally ovulating) based on the fact that I stated that my ovulation should be occurring before the date the Cetrotide shot was planned. This experience should have been sufficient for me to understand that the doctor doesn’t have a control over my cycle and has not taken charge of my treatment and is not proving us with a personalized approach but rather one size fit all treatment plan. I had the preference for having two of the retrieved eggs fertilized in a dish instead of doing ICSI on all. The doctor explained that this is not his usual protocol, instead of referring to my husband’s sperm analysis and letting me know that we have a serious male factor and this can not be an option for us. He proceed with leaving to eggs to fertilize in order to honor my request, failing to give us any chance of success. If he would have taken the time to read my husband’s results, it would have been more than obvious that we had a male factor and the only way we can succeed was doing ICSI. The doctor didn’t really communicate how many eggs he is expecting to retrieve, but based on the follicle count, we were expecting between 6 to 8 eggs. Instead when I woke up, I was told that only 4 were retrieved and 2 were left in a dish and the other two were fertilized via ICSI. Both Nicole and the Doctor failed to keep us updated on how many eggs fertilized and how the embryos were developing. When I called and questioned Nicole why I wasn’t contacted I was given the excuse that my phone was not working when she had tried to call me. This was absurd since no one else had difficulty getting in touch with me and I was expecting the phone call and I had no voicemail. We ended up with one fertilized egg that didn’t make it to day 5th. The doctor failed to provide adequate care and to communicate our options and to discuss what would give us optimum chances of success. I will not recommend Dr. Glock to anyone needing fertility treatment.

How was your experience with Jacob Glock at Southwest Florida Fertility Center?
When meeting him in his Fort Myers office, he was very bland, dry and didn't say hardly a word. I was nervous, so all the questions I had, slipped my mind and I left feeling the same as I got there. A few appointments later, I asked if I could see Dr. Glock at his gyn practice in Labelle (which is 40 miles closer to me!) he agreed, and when I met him in that office, he was friendly, talked more than I had ever heard before and I was pleasantly surprised. Now, I only go to the Fort Myers office if it is totally necessary.
