Attention to Detail

Attention to detail is on a 1 - 10 scale, and is scored based on the rate, and severity, of errors committed by the clinic according to the patients.

For example, a severe error might be failing to inform a patient of critical information, while a small error might be failing to call a patient with results.

CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

Dr. Fisher has been wonderful at creating a treatment plans with me, adjusting it as we got new information, and encouraging and supporting me as I've had questions or concerns. He is very responsive and personable, he has gone out of his way reach out to me even on weekends to share good news we've been waiting for, and been caring in expressing condolences when I've gotten bad news. Dr Dovey saw me each and every time I went to the office...willing to continue trying with my own eggs and showed patience, care and compassion at every turn...always listened to and considered every one of my questions/suggestions, she was willing to modify certain recommendations
Spring is clean, beautiful, and considers every detail for their patients...so warm and welcoming...felt like they truly cared about me as a patient from the front desk staff to the medical assistants, to the nurses and of course the doctors...give you chocolate after your egg retrievals, let you choose music to play during your transfer, and send you flowers after a transfer during the two week wait
How was your experience with Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
I cannot say enough great things about Dr Dovey and Spring Fertility. I came to Spring after receiving crushing news from another clinic (I’d never be able to conceive with my own eggs). Dr Dovey and the team were willing to continue trying with my own eggs and showed patience, care and compassion at every turn. They recommended new supplements and a new medication protocol that allowed us to retrieve 4 of my own eggs that turned into embryos. I never felt rushed with Dr Dovey and she always listened to and considered every one of my questions/suggestions, she was willing to modify certain recommendations after I’d shared certain concerns or past experiences. I’ve also seen other providers when Dr Dovey was out of office and they treated me with the same level of top-notch care. Thanks to Dr Dovey, I am 26 weeks pregnant with our miracle baby - we would not be here without her.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr Dovey isn’t necessarily warm and fuzzy, but she is incredibly personable and cares about her patients. She will always tell you like it is and I felt like she was rooting for me every step of the way.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr Dovey saw me each and every time I went to the office (unless she was out of office). We were able to form a trusted relationship over the course of our treatment due to the 1:1 treatment. She knew my body and also trusted that I knew my body and would modify or adjust based on any concerns I had and/or past cycles. She was willing to try new things specific to me.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Spring Fertility East Bay. (Assigned nurse: I had multiple nurses during my time with Spring)
The staff at Spring is very kind. When I first started working with Spring communication was via email and/or phone. When I went back for a transfer years later, they’d moved to an app for communication. I didn’t love the app as much, but it was still sufficient.
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
Spring is clean, beautiful, and considers every detail for their patients. I never dreaded walking in because it was so warm and welcoming. I felt like they truly cared about me as a patient from the front desk staff to the medical assistants, to the nurses and of course the doctors. They give you chocolate after your egg retrievals, let you choose music to play during your transfer, and send you flowers after a transfer during the two week wait. It’s such a thoughtful experience.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay.
My retrievals were all covered by insurance. My transfers were out of pocket and expensive, but comparable to other clinics.
Describe Serena Dovey's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Spring Fertility East Bay.
We had two embryos frozen in one straw and Dr Dovey explained we could transfer both, or thaw one and refreeze at day 5 (they were both day 3). We opted to transfer one and thaw/refreeze the other. That refrozen day 5 is now a 26 week pregnancy!

never once felt like Dr. Dovey was afraid of telling me what she saw or what a possible outcome would be...set very fair expectations...able to provide comfort in explaining what was in the range of normal...felt very safe and confident...For the transfer I was on a modified natural cycle and progesterone suppositories and I am now pregnant
Spring is super clean...staff from the front desk to the back are super friendly...procedure areas are also extremely clean...nurses are so amazing. Everyone I encountered communicated exactly what was going to happen before it happened and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way
How was your experience with Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
The communication I received during monitoring ultrasounds about everything notable was amazing. I never once felt like Dr. Dovey was afraid of telling me what she saw or what a possible outcome would be. She set very fair expectations and was also able to provide comfort in explaining what was in the range of normal or why we may need an extra day of hormones before a trigger for egg retrieval. I felt very safe and confident that she was recommending only what was best for me.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions and don’t be afraid of getting an answer that is not black or white. There’s hardly any black and white answers when it comes to fertility treatment.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
I felt like I was cared for in a way that was unique to my needs. Dr. Dovey was direct but also warm and provided comfort during a largely uncomfortable time. My treatment plan was catered to me and the communication I received was also tailored for me and my specific situation.
Describe the protocols Serena Dovey used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
I was on stims for longer than expected for the egg retrieval. Not sure what the protocol was called but I had 2 nightly injections for about 16 days before I triggered. I was getting antsy but Dr. Dovey was really sure that a couple extra days would help my follicles mature and she was right. I got 10 eggs retrieved, all mature and all fertilized. For the transfer I was on a modified natural cycle and progesterone suppositories and I am now pregnant.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Spring Fertility East Bay. (Assigned nurse: Mel)
Everyone I saw at Spring was super knowledgeable and kind. Mel was always really responsive and would set up phone calls to make sure instructions or next steps were clear and gave me the chance to ask questions.
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
Spring is super clean, the staff from the front desk to the back are super friendly and they make you feel comfortable immediately. Describe the specific things that went wrong at Spring Fertility East Bay.
The only miss was a saline sonogram before my transfer was scheduled. It needed to happen prior to ovulation and timing was very close but they ended up scheduling me next day and it worked out so I could still transfer at the previously agreed upon month.

[Dr. Serena Dovey] isn't inherently the warmest person, but she is honest and I know she cares...during and after the retrieval she was very caring and warm...did take a little while for her to know who I am and develop a relationship with me...put me on birth control pills to regulate my cycle
[At Spring Fertility East Bay] All of the nurses are attentive, gentle, and kind. My care coordinator is AMAZING and always adjusts my calendar and I appreciate how quick and responsive she is...are always kind, paitent, and quick and I appreciate the care they give.
How was your experience with Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
It isn't inherently the warmest person, but she is honest and I know she cares. I think it did take a little while for her to know who I am and develop a relationship with me. I think at first I felt a bit nervous to be around her, but during and after the retrieval she was very caring and warm and I really appreciated her support.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
I would say that she might come off a bit cold and short, but I think it was important for me to also come prepared to ask her questions and I was a bit nervous since I was going through this process by myself.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
At times it did feel like she was busy, but she has always been realistic and warm with me.
Describe the protocols Serena Dovey used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
Since I was on the Nexplanon, my cycles were a bit weird/I would sometimes not get periods at all. So Dr. Dovey put me on birth control pills to regulate my cycle. Ultimately I wasn't able to get as many viable eggs due to my eggs all growing at different speeds. This time around I took out my Nexplanon and now we are trying etrace and testosterone to hopefully have them grow at a similar rate.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Spring Fertility East Bay. (Assigned nurse: Melanie)
The staff and care coordinator at Spring are EXCELLENT. I always have a good experience with everyone I encounter there. They are always kind, paitent, and quick and I appreciate the care they give.
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
I think before they implemented the Salve app, it was difficult and clunky to communicate and keep record of everything. All of the nurses are attentive, gentle, and kind. My care coordinator is AMAZING and always adjusts my calendar and I appreciate how quick and responsive she is.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay.
I was utilizing Progyny and it made it super easy. There wasn't too much out of pocket, only additional copay medication through my insurance company.

Dr. Okeigwe was clear, compassionate...kept my expectations realistic...sense of dedication to getting optimal results for all her patients....answered all questions in a thoughtful manner...ad a "medium" stimulation treatment...had 19 follicles, 16 eggs retrieved, and 16 viable for freezing
[Spring Fertility East Bay has] Good communication, easy to check the app for messages and medication...Friendly staff at the front desk...Everyone was so kind and friendly during bloodwork and I felt very cared for before, during, after the retrieval...Single egg freezing cycle ~$9000, medication ~$4000
How was your experience with Ijeoma Okeigwe at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr. Okeigwe was clear, compassionate, and committed to making sure I fully understood the biology of my own reproductive system and the egg freezing process. She kept my expectations realistic and I felt her sense of dedication to getting optimal results for all her patients. She answered all questions in a thoughtful manner.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ijeoma Okeigwe at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Have a consultation and go from there, you will leave more informed about your body/reproductive future whether or not you decide to have treatment.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Ijeoma Okeigwe at Spring Fertility East Bay?
I felt the doctor struck a balance of explaining where I stood statistically and evaluating my response to the medications/hormones to achieve a great outcome.
Describe the protocols Ijeoma Okeigwe used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
I had a "medium" stimulation treatment, not too high or low on any hormones in my bloodwork so the amounts and timing of injections seemed pretty standard. I didn't have any reactions (or mood swings) to the treatment other than bloating and a heaviness towards the end of the cycle just before retrieval. I had 19 follicles, 16 eggs retrieved, and 16 viable for freezing.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Spring Fertility East Bay.
Everyone was so kind and friendly during bloodwork and I felt very cared for before, during, after the retrieval. It helped ease my nerves that everyone seemed calm and collected and ready to make sure you felt comfortable.
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
Good communication, easy to check the app for messages and medication. The auto-response from the app was a little annoying because it would bog down the text threads if you were referencing back for the actual information. Between the nurses/finance counselor/front desk etc it was hard to keep track of who was calling about which part of the process so that could be more streamlined but overall not a big deal. Friendly staff at the front desk, and nice to have snacks available :)

Dr. Okeigwe was warm, funny, compassionate, very real and professional. She had very up to date understanding of how to handle my own situation and as a nurse and nurse practitioner student myself, I was very impressed and felt very well taken care of (not that I know much about fertility). I feel very comfortable knowing my eggs are safely frozen with her and so happy I can come back to her when I'm ready to use them. What a gem.
[Nursing staff at Spring Fertility were] great communicator, super compassionate, very human and real. They were all very responsive. Everyone was even a little funny and super relatable along the way. I always felt cared for when I was nervous about something or needed questions answered quickly. Such a great process and team all around. Also the front desk staff, always super nice and learned my name quickly. It felt like I was a regular and was very comfortable.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ijeoma Okeigwe at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Just do it! She's the best.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Ijeoma Okeigwe at Spring Fertility East Bay?
I have always been sensitive to birth control hormones and have migraine auras. She paid attention and had a care plan tailored to me including a medication that decreases your estrogen so you don't react to it as much. My hormones have felt balanced all the way through, nothing like I expected and no increased light flashes. I was also denied treatment at another facility based on my BMI (I wear a size 14 pants) and Spring has way more updated treatment protocols and they didn't treat me different than any other patient based on my weight.
Describe the protocols Ijeoma Okeigwe used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
I used a mid luteal protocol, started injecting Gonal F and Menopur about 4-5 days after ovulation. I also started an oral medication, letrozole, that is also used to treat breast cancer, it lowers effects of estrogen on your body and used this the whole way through. I started cetrotide to block ovulation 4 days later and lowered my gonal F dose because some eggs were maturing faster than others. Lowered my dose of Menopur a couple days later and gonal F even lower. I did my trigger medication 11 days after starting my injections. My trigger was just lupron, which is commonly used when people have a lot of eggs so they don't increase their risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (because I was already so full) so they didn't use the HCG trigger for me. I had the retrieval 36 hours after trigger and she got 31 eggs out, 24 frozen.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Spring Fertility East Bay. (Assigned nurse: Megan)
Everyone was a great communicator, super compassionate, very human and real. They were all very responsive. Everyone was even a little funny and super relatable along the way. Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
Great snacks, wonderful facility, clean, modern, extra amenities like massage chair and custom chocolates as a little take home gift at the end. Everyone was so kind. As a nurse it was oddly satisfying to be a patient, especially at a place like this that felt more like a spa. Honestly I felt like a princess.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Ijeoma Okeigwe at Spring Fertility East Bay.
I had a $1,500 discount for being a nurse and I saved $1,371 on meds basically for being a student and not having a high income. All said and done it was about $12,000.

worked with [Dr. Thomas Fisher] doing the final retrieval and final transfer, and simultaneously starting the surrogacy journey (using our own embryo). He’s very realistic in setting expectations with patients...did endometrial lining receptivity test to determine the window for implantation...very caring and makes sure you feel comfortable with the process...ended up with a baby after this first retrieval and first transfer with Dr Fisher
[Spring Fertility East Bay] is a very new facility. The way they evaluate embryo is more robust and possibly more stringent- meaning it might lead to better quality embryo. I don’t see any weakness of this clinic. If you want multiples, they might not support that and you might think you’ll get higher chance...We ended up with a baby after this first retrieval and first transfer
How was your experience with Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
We came to Dr Fisher as our last resort. We worked with him doing the final retrieval and final transfer, and simultaneously starting the surrogacy journey (using our own embryo). He’s very realistic in setting expectations with patients. I can be having lot of doubts because of my occurring failed cycles. Dr Fisher doesnt sugar coat, and encourages us to take one step at a time. During the surgery times( for most patients those are the big days), he’s very caring and makes sure you feel comfortable with the process. When I got pregnant and worried I would miscarriage, he again didn’t make any promise and just encouraged me to take one step at a time. I found this is very comforting
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Trust Dr Fisher- I believe Springs technology and their experience could give you a different result. They will pivot if there’s a need
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
We came to Dr Fisher as our last resort. We were prepared to go for the surrogacy route. He was able to support us to try both journey simultaneously. I don’t feel like I was treated as a number as he understand it’s hard emotionally and financially to go for the surrogacy route, and at the same time it’s important to bring a baby to our family.
Describe the protocols Thomas Fisher used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
Other than the usual egg retrieval process, we also did endometrial lining receptivity test to determine the window for implantation. We ended up with a baby after this first retrieval and first transfer with Dr Fisher
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
The clinic is a very new facility. The way they evaluate embryo is more robust and possibly more stringent- meaning it might lead to better quality embryo. I don’t see any weakness of this clinic. If you want multiples, they might not support that and you might think you’ll get higher chance. But the fact is it’s not the best to transfer multiples
Describe the costs associated with your care under Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay.
Around 9k for transfer and medications. Retrieval was covered by company insurance

Dr Okeigwe took so much time to explain to me the process and help me understand what she suggested every step of the way. She was kind and warm and always interested in how i was feeling. I never felt like she was rushing me (she would spend time after/before appts and call me if I had questions)...Dr O was very realistic while still being optimistic that we would be able to get viable embryos. I so appreciate that she didn't over promise what my results might be. Every time I saw Dr O i was met with compassion and I felt so taken care of during my treatment...
The clinic [Spring Fertility] was punctual, clean, high tech, staff was very friendly, and they were just generally a pleasure to work with. They always found a way to squeeze me in to appts if I needed them and were so loving and supportive...Maddy [nurse] was VERY organized and specific about what I needed to do and when. There was a lot of coordination needed (me ordering meds, appts, when to start which meds, etc) that I constantly was relying on Maddy for help to make sure I didn't mess anything up. She was responsive, friendly and always available when I needed her...
How was your experience with Ijeoma Okeigwe at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr Okeigwe was simply an exceptional dr. I enjoyed our visits so much that I cried when I 'graduated' from Spring. Not only did I find Dr O to be extremely good at her job, she had a talent for explaining the process and procedures to me and my husband in a way that I actually understood. I had a million questions and she always took the time to answer them. I have/had VERY low AMH and poor egg quality and did 3 egg retrievals back to back. From the beginning, Dr O was very realistic while still being optimistic that we would be able to get viable embryos. I so appreciate that she didn't over promise what my results might be. Every time I saw Dr O i was met with compassion and I felt so taken care of during my treatment. I joked with my husband that I wanted Dr O to become my bestie!! The care and oversight I received from Dr O was beyond my expectations and would 1000% recommend her to everyone. I'm so so thankful that I was under her care and now have an almost 10 week old healthy baby boy because of her!
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Ijeoma Okeigwe at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Don't be afraid to ask all your questions! She will give you as much information as you'd like so just think about how much you want to know vs how much you want to leave up to her.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Ijeoma Okeigwe at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr Okeigwe took so much time to explain to me the process and help me understand what she suggested every step of the way. She was kind and warm and always interested in how i was feeling. I never felt like she was rushing me (she would spend time after/before appts and call me if I had questions).
Describe the protocols Ijeoma Okeigwe used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
For my transfer, we tried to do a modified natural transfer first (because it's generally easier on your body). However, I eventually had to move to a medicated transfer. For my egg retrievals, I was on a lower hormone protocol (focus was on quality eggs vs quantity because of my poor egg quality and low AMH)

The clinic was punctual, clean, high tech, staff was very friendly, and they were just generally a pleasure to work with. They always found a way to squeeze me in to appts if I needed them and were so loving and supportive. I did my FET on my birthday and the nurses and clinic sent did what they could to make it feel special (played music in the room while I did my transfer). They even sent me flowers after my transfer. I have only good things to say about my experience at Spring!
Describe Ijeoma Okeigwe's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Spring Fertility East Bay.
Recommendation was to transfer 1 emrbyo and use PICSI to determine how to fertilize the egg.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr. Dovey is straight forward, knowledgeable, matter of fact but expresses an appropriate level of concern and friendliness.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?

Describe the protocols Serena Dovey used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
I went through the natural fet cycle since I have a regular menses and ovulation. I also did not need progesterone therapy prior to the embryo transfer. The drugs I took for egg retrieval and embryo transfer are: novarel 5000 unit, menopur 75 unit, leuprolide 5mg/1ml, gonal F 300/0.5ml, fyremadel 250mcg/0.5, diazepam 10mg, cetrotide 0.25mg, oviderel 250mcg/0.5, methylprednisolone 16mg, letrozole 2.5mg. I iced the injection site prior to injections and had no pain (other than occasional, light burning sensation afterwards) or skin irritation from the injections. I also had no adverse reactions to any of the meds. The instruction videos for the various drugs as well as timely details about injection dosages and timing was very critical to our success. I took injections and pills on time as prescribed. My partner had picsi done for sperm. I'd also like to note that my partner took Therlaogix sperm motility and function supplements (recommended by Dr. Dovey for potential sperm issues). I had potentially decreased ovarian reserve and so based on my own online research, I took several OTC supplements to improve egg quality (in addition to a prenatal vitamin and omega 3): CoQ10, PQQ, acai, melatonin, resveratrol, probiotic, and NAD (TruNiagen brand) for about 5 months. Of course I can't say for sure if these helped but I had great results from the egg retrieval and so far a successful pregnancy from one IVF cycle (after trying to conceive on our own for 2.5 years). 15 eggs were retrieved, all mature, all inseminated, 11 grew to blastocyst, all were genetically tested, and 8 were euploid. We elected to have the highest ranked embryo transferred.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Spring Fertility East Bay. (Assigned nurse: Paige then Christina as coordinators and Samantha as a nurse)
At every step, Spring has been incredibly organized, professional, and transparent in their care. I had a Patient Care Coordinator who communicated regularly about appointments, and called or emailed me with test results. Later in the process my assigned nurse did the same. Every staff member, including the front desk, was friendly and accommodated all my questions and concerns. I was seen at my appointment time without wait. There was also transparency on payments owed, with advance notice from my assigned financial coordinator.
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
Spring staff, including doctors, nurses, MAs, front desk assistants, were always friendly and accommodated my questions, scheduling me to speak with the doctor when needed. I was seen at my appointments on time, and their separate procedure facilities were top notch. My Patient Care Coordinator promptly kept me updated on next step of the process with any relevant instructions and scheduled upcoming appointments. Lastly, Spring was transparent and timely with payments owed with no hidden or surprise costs.
Describe your experience with your monitoring appointments at Spring Fertility East Bay.
Monitoring appointments were usually in the morning which worked well for me. I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time and the process of seeing the doctor and then getting any bloodwork done if needed was a smooth process.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay.
Any testing procedures prior to the IVF process were billed for prior to the scheduled appointment. For IVF I received a detailed breakdown of costs for each part of the process. If I recall correctly, everything was paid for up front except the embryo transfer which was paid for before that procedure. The drug package was paid for separately too.
Describe Serena Dovey's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Spring Fertility East Bay.
Our preference was to transfer a single embryo since I did not want to carry multiple embryos. Dr. Dovey explained that a single embryo transfer was the typical practice of the clinic anyways since a multiple embryo pregnancy became high risk.

Dr.Okeigwe was very thorough with explaining the process, possible outcomes due to age, genetics and retrieval and fertilization. She answered all questions throughout the entire process. Very friendly and compassionate...always friendly, compassionate and took the time to explain the process multiple times over. They never displayed any frustrations with the constant questions, my hesitancy and fully supported my decisions to start, wait and restart my complete process...
Overall the Spring Fertility East Bay clinic office staff was very friendly, displayed compassion, informative and followed up with care promptly. Upon entering I was greeted with a smile, checked in and offered a snack while I wait. The time from check in to being seen was less than 5 min...When I paused the cycle after egg retrieval, I wasn’t informed by finance that there would be an additional cost when I started back up. I believe in total I was on a combination of 4-5 medications. My hormone injection went a little longer than expected but Dr. Okeigwe explained that she wanted the eggs to be similar in size which will produce a good amount of viable follicles… which happened.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Spring Fertility East Bay. (Assigned nurse: Lauren or Laurel)
The support staff was very informative and provided great support. The nursing staff listened to my needs in regards to needles and passed it along the staff where I didn’t have to explain every time to a different nurse/ phlebotomist.

Describe Ijeoma Okeigwe's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Spring Fertility East Bay.
Due to my age and hypertension I was informed that single embryo approach would be the best fit for me in which I totally agree. I was informed that the best embryo would be used, in which it was and was a success on the first transfer.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Spring Fertility East Bay.
When I paused the cycle after egg retrieval, I wasn’t informed by finance that there would be an additional cost when I started back up. I ended up paying close to an additional $4k more and when I inquired about it I was only told to look at a sheet with specific date ( which was a cost form given to me when I continued the cycle) which only added the new cost , there was no explanation of why the cost was there. And after every conversation I was referred to look back at the same sheet which was constantly changed after speaking/emailing staff. For a while it was a bit confusing because I printed out the sheet when I first received it and was looking at the printed form when I was referred to look at it. Only then when I decided to look online I noticed that the sheet was continuously changing, when the new change should have had an updated date on it not a previous one.

He was pretty strong on single embryo transfer for the success rate...Dr. Fisher was very thorough & precise in his way of explaining things and setting expectations. He has been very upfront and fact-based, which is exactly how I wanted it. He might not be the most touchy feely type some people could prefer, but he is very patient, understanding, communicative and willing to listen to & address my concerns..
The entire [Spring Fertility] nursing staff were very organized, warm and effective. They are always very on top of communicating next steps and great at explaining all the nuances...Very organized, clean and easy to access space. Min. Wait time very time I go - I'm usually in and out of the office in 10 min for my monitoring or blood draw appointment. This has reduced my stress so much given the time commitment usually needed for this process
How was your experience with Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr. Fisher was very thorough & precise in his way of explaining things and setting expectations. He has been very upfront and fact-based, which is exactly how I wanted it. He might not be the most touchy feely type some people could prefer, but he is very patient, understanding, communicative and willing to listen to & address my concerns. We did two IUI as I was unsure how aggressive I wanted to go (and had lingering hope that things would just work out with min. treatment) but lost patience after two cycles and moved to IVF quickly; I have to say I moved a lot faster after learning all the facts (ex. IUI success rate is really not all that high) from Dr. Fisher. I was lucky that our first attempt at IVF was a success. The entire experience was very smooth overall (other than the daily hormone injections you would expect from the procedure no matter where you go), I felt very informed throughout and was able to plan ahead as much as possible. Looking back, I appreciate the fact that my doctor was cool headed and not feeding into my (inevitable) stress and emotion, but focus on the process one step at a time without over/under managing the expectation. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fisher.

Dr.Fisher again took time to meet and discuss all our options, how we could take the most relaxed approach and not overstimulate me...We allowed my body to do what it naturally does on its own. No progesterone needed, just a trigger shot at the time I ovulated to boost my natural hormone release and 5 days later my transfer...he took the time to understand me and my partners goals, always to the time to answer questions, was open to changing gears...
[Spring Fertility is] open on weekends, very compassionate towards queer folks, top of the line technology, always looking into the latest and greatest protocols. Multiple offices...Since they are open weekends you may sometimes seem a different doctor who is on call that weekend...When I went in for my appointments I would see 1 of a handful of nurses at that clinic, typically for my blood draws. Most were fantastic, some were a bit quick and to the point and others more chatty and warm. My primary nurse was always quick to email and when she couldn't another nurse would always chime in to make suer my message was answered
How was your experience with Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr.Fisher is an amazing human being and RE. I went in as a queer person with an idea in my head that the more "natural" approach I could take the better and from my first appointment which lasted over an hour Dr.Fisher never questioned my goals or opinions, even as they changed over the course on a year as I decided to go with IVF. My wife and I knew we wanted to start a family in about a year and we wanted to be as prepared as possible. I went in to get all the information I could and learn exactly what I should be doing to prepare my body for ttc. Dr. Fisher was with me each step of the way always being very informative, always being gentle, and always checking in on how I was and how my wife was. As I learned more about my insurance over the course of the first half of the year I discovered I had the option to have IVF covered in full. The thought of banking embryos now while my eggs are at their youngest started to become more appealing. Dr.Fisher again took time to meet and discuss all our options, how we could take the most relaxed approach and not overstimulate me which I had seen happen to my friends. I felt confident moving forward with IVF knowing Dr.Fisher would make sure things moved forward gracefully. My stimulation process was truly a breeze, I felt cared for and safe. When the day of retrieval came I was terrified but Dr.Fisher made sure I was okay. The retrieval went beautifully and recovery was quick! We PGT tested our embryos and I wanted to do one more retrieval to get to my goal number of normal high grade embryos for the potential of future children but then something unexpected came up our lives, a move to a new city in a new state. With only a few months left in the bay area we would be able to fit in one more retrieval cycle or a transfer, otherwise we would need to travel back to the bay for future transfers. We chatted with Dr.Fisher and decided to go for it and prep for one transfer before the move. Dr. Fisher decided on a modified natural cycle and I am SO glad he did. I have many friends who do fully medicated cycles and it takes such a toll on them taking so much medication sometimes for months beforehand and so many PIO shots. We allowed my body to do what it naturally does on its own. No progesterone needed, just a trigger shot at the time I ovulated to boost my natural hormone release and 5 days later my transfer. The transfer itself was amazing and once again Dr.Fisher was remarkably kind, informative, and genuine. Four days later I tested and got my positive, after 14 days I had 3 HCG bloodtests done all showing positive pregnancy, and finally 2 ultrasounds one at 7 weeks and one at 9 weeks showed growth exactly on schedule. Saying goodbye to Dr.Fisher was sad for both my wife and I. We had had such a wonderful year with him it was hard to imagine having a new doctor for the pregnancy stage. I am now 11wks and we are moved to our new home! My next appointment with out birth center is next week and I can't wait to send Dr.Fisher a ultrasound picture of how our little one is growing :)
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
You can feel comfortable with him. Whatever you are thinking, whatever questions you have he will take the time to listen and discuss with you all your options. Going into this can be scary, but with Dr.Fisher rest assured he is a friend as well as a brilliant RE.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr.Fisher treated me like I wasn't just a patient but a friend. he took the time to understand me and my partners goals, always to the time to answer questions, was open to changing gears, and overall one of the kindest people I have ever met.
Describe the protocols Thomas Fisher used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
Retrieval Prep Protocol: I stimulated for 11 days, began my antagonist on day 7, and triggered on day 11. These are my starting doses and they went down as my cycle continued. We wanted to stimulate what I naturally had, and not try to create more follicles than I naturally do. This kept me from overstimulating and I had a pretty relaxed stim process. Results: 13 retrieved, 11 mature, 10 fertilized, 8 at day three, 5 top quality at day 5/6 frozen Stimulation: Gonal-F 150IU, Menopur 250IU Antagonist: Cetrotide 250mcg (prefilled) Trigger: Novarel 5000IU, Leuprolide Acetate 1 prefilled vial Transfer Protocol: We went with a modified natural cycle. This allowed my body to have its own natural cycle and we supplemented a little to boost my natural hormones. Letrozole helped me to grow 2 large follicles when I normally grow one, so double the boost of natural hormone. We then added a trigger with my natural ovulation so I dropped both of those eggs again boosting what my body was already naturally doing. My transfer was exactly five days later! Results: Positive home pregnancy test at 4 days past 5 day transfer. HCG tests at 9 days past and 11 days past and 14 days past all showed positive pregnancy. Currently 11 weeks pregnant. Transfer (5 appointments including bloodwork, monitoring, and tranfer): Letrozole 2.5mg x2 for 5 days Ovidrel 250mcg (trigger at time of ovulation) Medrol 16 mg for 5 days up to transfer
Describe your experience with your nurse at Spring Fertility East Bay. (Assigned nurse: Melissa)
I never met my primary nurse in person. When I went in for my appointments I would see 1 of a handful of nurses at that clinic, typically for my blood draws. Most were fantastic, some were a bit quick and to the point and others more chatty and warm. My primary nurse was always quick to email and when she couldn't another nurse would always chime in to make suer my message was answered. I also had a care coordinator (Paige) who was great. Always in the know on where I was at in the process, always compassionate. Was really helpful during the donor selection process even though it was totally separate from Spring Fertility.
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
Strengths: They have Dr.Fisher on their team :) , open on weekends, very compassionate towards queer folks, top of the line technology, always looking into the latest and greatest protocols. Multiple offices Weaknesses: Since they are open weekends you may sometimes seem a different doctor who is on call that weekend. It is a double edged sword because it is amazing that weekends are an option but I loved Dr.Fisher so much the 2 times I didn't see him I am was tiny bit bummed haha. But honestly...thats it.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay.
My services were fully covered by insurance, I really couldn't say.
Describe Thomas Fisher's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Spring Fertility East Bay.
We knew from the start we would only transfer one embryo. Dr.Fisher never pressured in any direction but was clear that multiples are a risk for mother and baby.
How competent was Spring Fertility East Bay at LGBTQ+ care?
Dr.Fisher was welcoming and well verses in how queer folks conceive and what the options are from the very start. He never batted an eye or seemed the least bit effected by us being a queer couple. He also was very well educated in donor banks and could give us good guidance.
Describe your experience using 3rd party reproduction (donor eggs, donor sperm, or gestational carrier) at Spring Fertility East Bay.
We used Seattle Sperm Bank and were very happy with our experience, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. When it was time to have the sperm vials sent to Spring Fertility they let us know Tuesday was the best day for delivery, we simply let SSB know and they schedule the shipment to arrive the next Tuesday morning.

Dr. Fisher is great! He understands how difficult the process can be and is very empathetic. He monitored all aspects of my progress and frequently adjusted things to make sure that we were making the best choices at every step. At our initial consultation, he explained that our chances weren't great, but we ended up conceiving after one cycle....
They [nurses at Spring Fertility] always remembered me...They were very available to answer questions and were very helpful...The financial people could have given us more frequent updates about when big payments were coming up. With sums of money that large, we sometimes needed a few days to transfer money from one account to another....
How was your experience with Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr. Fisher is great! He understands how difficult the process can be and is very empathetic. He monitored all aspects of my progress and frequently adjusted things to make sure that we were making the best choices at every step. At our initial consultation, he explained that our chances weren't great, but we ended up conceiving after one cycle and I'm due to give birth in three weeks.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Feel free to be honest and candid. He really listens.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
I was really negative about treatment in the beginning (b/c stats were not hopeful and we'd been through so much already) and he really made an effort to empathize. It made a huge difference and we got along really well.
Describe the protocols Thomas Fisher used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
I've mostly tried to forget, but we did an extra week of hormone injections in the beginning before the transfer to let the eggs grow. Then, we postponed the transfer for one cycle and I did suppositories because my progesterone levels were too low. We made all these decisions together.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Spring Fertility East Bay.
They always remembered me, even though we were in masks all the time. They were very available to answer questions and were very helpful. Everyone was really nice and I have good memories of the whole process, despite the discomforts.
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
Overall, really great experience. Caring, comforting people and very mindful that patients felt physically and emotionally fragile. They really gave personalized care with frequent testing to make sure we got the best outcomes. I thought it was pretty expensive, but since it only took one round (avg is 3 for my age), in the end, I think I saved money! Weakness: The financial people could have given us more frequent updates about when big payments were coming up. With sums of money that large, we sometimes needed a few days to transfer money from one account to another.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay.
A little under $30,000 for the whole thing. Around $18,000 for the first part (extraction), $4000 for all pre-extraction meds (unlimited meds, rather than paying per Rx - ended up saving us money) , then another maybe $5000 for the embryo transfer, genetic testing was a few thousand, I had to take progesterone, which was a few hundred, and some ultrasounds.
Describe Thomas Fisher's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Spring Fertility East Bay.
We only had one good embryo.

Dr. Fisher is one of the most thorough and approachable physicians I have ever come across. His bedside manner is second to none. I went through 3 cycles of egg freezing with Dr. Fisher and fully trusted him. Dr. Fisher did not sugarcoat anything and was honest and direct about what to expect. My actual results actually exceeded my expectations...underwent 3 cycles of the mid-luteal treatment protocol...
Spring Fertility is very organized and very communicative. They checked in on me often and responded to all my inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. They are also very compassionate and kind and it really shows in the way they communicate with and treat their patients...If my doctor was not available, another doctor performed the ultrasound...Melissa (my nurse), Paige (my care coordinator) and there rest of the staff at Spring Fertility were organized, on top of things and very patient and understanding....

Dr. Dovey was always very personable, warm, and professional during our encounters. When I expressed concerns or asked questions about my situation, she always addressed them with a helpful response...Right off the bat we decided to do ICSI for the best chances of fertilization and do a frozen transfer as I wanted to do PGT-A testing...She never gave me any reason to be anything but confident in our plan...
Spring is an amazing clinic. I love that they offer live monthly webinars as it gives newbies a great resource of information. Their website is also a wealth of knowledge. I also found them to be very transparent with regards to costs of service...Egg Retrieval and ICSI (approx $18k which included PGT-A)...Frozen Embryo Transfer (approx $4.5k)...medications (approx $5k) I wish cost of medication was included with the retrieval and FET...
How was your experience with Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
I always felt like I was in great hands with Dr. Dovey. It was clear that she wouldn't make any final decisions about my plan/treatment until she had all the information she needed to make an educated decision. She never gave me any reason to be anything but confident in our plan and everything has worked out very well so far! Looking back, I never thought to ask Dr. Dovey what she expected my outcome to be given my numbers and that also wasn't something she proactively discussed with me. In my experience, it was definitely "I don't know what I don't know" and it might have been more helpful for Dr. Dovey to tell me what other questions I should be asking. But on the other hand, she probably knows too much information is not always a good thing. At the end of the day, I know she had my best interest at heart and did everything she could to be successful. And we were successful!
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Serena Dovey at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Ask Dr. Dovey what results/outcomes you should predict based on your diagnosis and treatment plan. It will help to set expectations, especially if IVF is very new to you.

Dr. Dovey was always very personable, warm, and professional during our encounters. When I expressed concerns or asked questions about my situation, she always addressed them with a helpful response.
Describe the protocols Serena Dovey used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
Right off the bat we decided to do ICSI for the best chances of fertilization and do a frozen transfer as I wanted to do PGT-A testing. For my protocol, Dr. Dovey decided to have me do a mid-luteal start because I had just gotten my J&J vaccine and was worried about enhanced blood clot risks of taking birth control to prep for stims. With a mid-luteal start, I did not have to take birth control so I was very happy with that decision. Given my diagnosis of PCOS and high follicle count, we did a relatively low dose of medications and had frequent monitoring appointments. We stimmed for 14 days total because we wanted as many eggs to mature as possible. The night I triggered I also started Caborgoline as a preventative measure against OHSS. For the FET, we did a modified natural cycle (which I was surprised she recommended because I don't ovulate on my own, though I respond well to Letrozole). She explained the benefits of this protocol but offered to do a fully medicated/controlled cycle if I felt more comfortable. I decided to do the modified natural because she felt confident. I did not respond to the Letrozole as well as we hoped, so she added 75 units of Gonal F for 5 nights (with monitoring appointments to track progress) to help my dominate follicle grow and to thicken my lining. After I triggered, I took progesterone suppositories before the transfer and all the way up t0 my second positive Beta. We did the 1st Beta 12 days after transfer as I had vacation plans (otherwise it would have been 14 days)

There were 3 main buckets of costs: 1)Egg Retrieval and ICSI (approx $18k which included PGT-A), 2)Frozen Embryo Transfer (approx $4.5k), and 3) medications (approx $5k) I wish cost of medication was included with the retrieval and FET - it seems a little misleading not to as they are so expensive

Dr. Fisher was warm and caring. He shared his families personal experience with infertility and IVF...Dr. Fisher wanted to be the one to call us personally which I thought was just so kind and one of many examples of how I was treated like a human not a number...Dr Fisher strongly advised against multiple embryo transfer for my specific case, due to potential risks.
I cannot say enough good things about Spring. Super convenient office location with easy parking, modern/cool facilities with TV screens so I could see all the ultrasounds in every room. They always ran on-schedule for my appointments...They also really just get patient care...The patient portal and systems they use made it really easy
How was your experience with Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Dr. Fisher was warm and caring. He shared his families personal experience with infertility and IVF, and would take the little bit of extra time to get to know me, ask me how my weekend went, etc. When we decided to find out our babies gender, Dr. Fisher wanted to be the one to call us personally which I thought was just so kind and one of many examples of how I was treated like a human not a number.

Describe the protocols Thomas Fisher used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
1st Retrieval: Mid-luteal protocol, Menopur/Gonal-F plus Cetrotide injections for ~14 days, yielded 2 PGS-normal embryos. 2nd Retrieval: Standard protocol, Prepped with birth control, Menopur/Gonal-F plus Cetrotide injections for ~14 days (same dosages as 1st retrieval). I also did acupuncture, which Dr. F confirmed has shown to be effective in some studies. Cycle yielded 7 PGS-normal embryos. 1st Transfer: Natural cycle, was given hcg trigger, and medrol leading up to transfer. Valium for transfer procedure. Frozen embryo transfer with Day 6 5AA embryo. Supplemented with 2-weeks endometrin suppositories post-transfer. Now 27-weeks pregnant with my first babe :)
Describe your experience with your nurse at Spring Fertility East Bay. (Assigned nurse: Mel Ransom)
Mel was responsible for walking us through our schedule, protocols, providing us with injection education, and answering our day to day questions. She often also helped us schedule appointments. She and Dr. F were always totally aligned on the plan with us, and responded quickly to any questions that came up. If Mel was off one day, there was also backup care team that could reply and was familiar with my case.
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
I cannot say enough good things about Spring. Super convenient office location with easy parking, modern/cool facilities with TV screens so I could see all the ultrasounds in every room. They always ran on-schedule for my appointments (unlike other clinics where I found drs are frequently 30min late). The patient portal and systems they use made it really easy for me to get my care instructions and fill out forms online (modern technology!). And they have enough staff & offices to be able to cover all my needs - vs. other clinics where I've heard people have to wait a long time to be seen or to get an appointment. They also really just get patient care... with small touches like complimentary beverages, a heated robe and massage chair at retrieval/transfer procedures, and even cute little egg/sperm chocolate truffles when I came out of anesthesia. I felt like a celebrity or something. I wish they had an OB practice too!
Describe the costs associated with your care under Thomas Fisher at Spring Fertility East Bay.
My employer provides fertility benefits, so my total out of pocket cost was <$2k for procedure, appointment, and prescription co-pays.

She [Dr. Debra Minjarez] spent time to talk through all the results of each session as well as all the medications to be taken. She also explained how she was adjusting the next round given the results of the previous unsuccessful rounds and why she was making the changes she was. She was very straightforward and confident yet showed a lot of empathy. I was very confident in her and trusted her.
I cannot say enough good things about the [Spring Fertility] patient portal. Super clear, quick results loaded, protocols easy to understand, schedules, appointments, signing forms electronically, training videos, supplemental information...would also work through vetting out the receptionists a bit more. There was a lot of confusion many times on their part as to what was to be paid, what was owed, etc.
How was your experience with Debra Minjarez at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Debra was very smart and methodical in her approach to medication amounts and brands to use. She looked at results from previous sessions and adjusted the next round. She was funny, and easy to talk to. She also had no judgement of us as a couple or how we got to that point. She was also very clear with her directions to her staff and in explaining things to us.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Debra Minjarez at Spring Fertility East Bay?
Have us lay and relax longer after injection of IUI. The successful procedure I had was the only one that I laid in the room for 15 min after the injection with my legs still up in the stands. One of the nurses did that injection and did it differently than Debra had done the previous two unsuccessful injections.

only have one ovary on right side, with short Luteal phase, age 35 when got pregnant and 36 when delivered 1st attempt: Clomid FSH, 1 follicle formed 1st time, good thick lining, want more follicles, however, many were close and trying, did not lay on back for 15min after IUI procedure 2nd attempt: Letrozal FSH, only developed 2 follicles that were mature and lining wasn't as thick as hoped, and less follicles were trying, did not lay on back for 15min after IUI procedure 3rd successful pregnancy: Clomid FSH with booster FSH shot. Did Clomid first, then follow with shot, 4 doses gonal, 2 menopur, then added progesterone to support lengthen time for egg to implant, laid for 15 min on back with legs up in stirrups after IUI procedure
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Spring Fertility East Bay.
They were awesome. Always ready to go, appointments were always on time, and I was in and out quickly
Describe your experience with Spring Fertility East Bay.
The snacks and beverages are a nice touch. The decor in the waiting area is nice and comforting. I like the no touch appliances in all the bathrooms and the rooms were state of the art technology feeling. I like the rooms to sit and discuss protocol after as well, they were minimal and the fish on the screens was nice. The shot training was really great as well. I felt very comfortable on how to do it when got home. And I cannot say enough good things about the patient portal. Super clear, quick results loaded, protocols easy to understand, schedules, appointments, signing forms electronically, training videos, supplemental information. I really felt in such good hands. Also super convenient was the ability to go to different locations, Redwood City, SF, or Oakland, depending on my needs. I would say the two opportunities I would suggest are to offer free parking or parking validation for the Oakland and SF locations. It was hard to find parking and/or it cost a lot. I would also work through vetting out the receptionists a bit more. There was a lot of confusion many times on their part as to what was to be paid, what was owed, etc. She would have to call the billing department and get clarification or she would give me incorrect information. Sometimes I would pay and then it would be short, or I would pay and it was too much such that I received a refund. She just seemed not up to the same standards as the rest of the staff from an business excellence perspective.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Debra Minjarez at Spring Fertility East Bay.
I did an egg freezing procedure as well which there is a payment plan for $295/month and $600/year storage fee ($5000 for meds for the procedure) My IUI cycles were $1500/cycle

Dr. Dovey is simply the best. Straightforward, calm, logical. I never felt rushed or that she didn't have the patience or time to explain something to me or answer a question...the most remarkable part for me was that I had virtually no pain after both retrievals which I attribute to her skills as a surgeon...approx. two weeks of injectables at decreasing amounts over the two week period, then trigger shot and retrieval. I had monitoring appointments every other day to two days....
Spring was professional and organized -- everything you would want in a healthcare experience. I was concerned my work schedule and treatment schedule would clash, but with early AM appointments, there was almost never scheduling conflicts, making the entire experience that much more seamless and easy...[nurses were] Professional, organized and efficient.

[Dr. Fisher is] Very kind and empathetic. Really knows his stuff. I spent more time talking with my nurse than Dr. Fisher, but I always got the impression that he was kept up to date with my progress and was very involved in the background...We did an egg retrieval with genetic testing which was $21k including all monitoring apts and one transfer. Meds were separate and those were another $5k-ish...

She was very kind and didn't get annoyed when I pestered her with about a million questions :) . I really felt like she cared about me and my husband and our success...

[Dr. Ijeoma Okeigwe] is very good at explaining procedures and I never felt rushed at appointments...has great bedside manner...was always warm and positive in our interactions...two back to back retrievals due to my age. I did PGTA testing on the embryos. And I did an “unmedicated” transfer.
[Spring Fertility East Bay] runs on time so it was an easy to do monitoring appts before work...Megan was great at following up with care instructions and explanations before changes in medications or before medical procedures...nterior is very nice and spa-like...downside is parking could be a little hectic

Describe the protocols Ijeoma Okeigwe used in your cycles at Spring Fertility East Bay and their degree of success.
Due to some fibroids I have my right ovary wasn’t as visible as we would have liked but given my other ovary had at least 10 follicles we decided to move forward but considered the possibility that I may need to have eggs extracted through my abdomen for my right ovary. I started stims and thankfully we were able to see many more follicles come up. I was put on a special med for women with a lot of follicles to prevent overstimulation. I had my retrieval and 20 eggs were retrieved and 18 frozen

Dr. Okeigwe was awesome. She was kind, patient, very knowledgeable and experienced, and extremely professional. I was grateful to do this process with her and looked forward to seeing her. My results ended up being even better than she suggested they would be and she did an excellent job...I felt cared for, informed, and safe under her care and would recommend her highly. I was lucky that she was able to do almost all of my monitoring and also my egg retrieval.
Spring Fertility was excellent. The whole team was well organized, kind, and informative. I felt they did a very good job with every aspect of my cycle and I would chose them again. Early on I met with a patient representative who helped me take in all the information etc. I also had a primary nurse and of course my doctor...Megan and the other nurses were responsive, good communicators, very informative, and always kind.
