This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
I feel like Dr. Goodman has so many great qualities and strengths. Each time she walks in and greets you, its heartfelt regardless of good or bad news. I like the fact that she "entertained" my wanting to go "back" and address the previously diagnosed blocked tubes...She always explains herself and the why BUT always lets me decide. She is not pushy or overbearing or cold...It just always feels like you are having a conversation with a close relative and not a doctor with Dr. Goodman.
The nursing staff [at The Reproductive Medicine Group] has always been warm, compassionate, friendly and filled with smiles. I have always felt like a person from the moment I sign in to the moment I walk out...As a new patient when you onboard, be sure to arrive with plenty time to account for filling out paperwork. Do your research with your insurance and get with the billing department to discuss self-pay options if your insurance does not cover fertility treatments.
How was your experience with Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
I feel like Dr. Goodman has so many great qualities and strengths. Each time she walks in and greets you, its heartfelt regardless of good or bad news. I like the fact that she "entertained" my wanting to go "back" and address the previously diagnosed blocked tubes. After the 2 unsuccessful IVF cycles, it was close to Christmas which meant holiday break IF we were to proceed with cycle 3. I decided that I needed the mental rest and decided to ask to relook at the previously blocked tubes. Dr. Goodman saw me after the new year and we decided to start with the HSG which resulted in tubes not being blocked and we decided to proceed with the IUI cycles. The fact that she was willing to allow me to go this route for many reasons is wonderful. She always explains herself and the why BUT always lets me decide. She is not pushy or overbearing or cold. I honestly cannot think of any weaknesses to talk about...
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Not only as a prospective patient of Dr. Goodman, but as a prospective patient in general for infertility would be to keep an open mind, and remember that every person's body is different and do not be discouraged by the statistics presented. I would also advise to do your own research as well and build your fertility team.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Dr. Goodman has always been candid with me and always has open heartfelt communication with me. If she didn't believe that we can be successful, I do not think that I would be her patient. Additionally, after the IVF "failures", I wanted to go back and address the tubal blockage since I never addressed it and went straight for IVF. We did, which has enabled my significant other and I to proceed with the less invasive IUI route. Although this first round was not successful, we are still optimistic that we will conceive. It just always feels like you are having a conversation with a close relative and not a doctor with Dr. Goodman.
Describe the protocols Sandy Goodman used in your cycles at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
IVF 1: Birth control, then upon start of menses/baseline, nightly injection of Omnitrope 27 units, Menopur 2 vials, Gonal F 300 units
IVF 1 cancelled due to follicle size expectation
IVF 2: Birth control, then flared with Lupron 20 units 2x/day; Menopur 2 vials 2x/day; Gonal F 150 units 2x/day; Omnitrope 27 units 1x/day
IVF 2 I had to order more medications because the follicles were a little slow even with this protocol however I produced 9 follicles total, 7 eggs resulted, 5 fertilized, 3 embryos. Zero were transferred due to each embryo resulting in abnormal results after PGT.
IUI 1: Letrozale 2.5mg 2x/day for 5 days; Ovidrel trigger shot
IUI 1 unsuccessful; unable to have additional intercourse due to military mobilization due to COVID-19 pandemic/response.
Now due to COVID-19, we are in a holding pattern for IUI however if we are able to see and have relations we will.

Up until IVF and IUI, my insurance provided coverage in accordance with my benefits. Super expensive but everything is delineated with the exception of prescription costs.
Describe Sandy Goodman's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
We are required to attend a seminar in which all of this is addressed and the reasoning why. I believe this clinic only conducts single embryo transfers.
A strength of Dr. Goodman is that she does have a lot of knowledge in the area around infertility and she does explain things thoroughly...She explained the reasons why she would want to look for it if I'm considering IVF. She also explained there's a chance that it's nothing and she will go in there and everything will be fine..Weakness: - Conversation feels rushed. - She has no knowledge on pricing -- that always goes to a separate department. - She is not great at follow through and is hard to get a hold of if you're not face to face
They [nurses of Reproductive Medicine Group] answer super quick on the portal. I've gotten blood taken from them several times and they've been awesome with that -- one stick only. They also really held my hand through the HSG Dye Test...I feel as if the protocol for everyone for the testing is the same. You will have to go through bloodwork (you and spouse if hetro couple), you have options of doing HSG and Saline test, you also have options of Genetic testing. You can decline these tests if wanted. The front desk staff is great -- they are helpful and nice when making appointments or changing appointments.
How was your experience with Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
A strength of Dr. Goodman is that she does have a lot of knowledge in the area around infertility and she does explain things thoroughly. For example -- After my HSG Dye Test she provided me my results and explained that the Fallopian tube may have a blockage, it may be misshapen, or it may have no issues and I was just laying funny. She explained the reasons why she would want to look for it if I'm considering IVF. She also explained there's a chance that it's nothing and she will go in there and everything will be fine. I appreciated her candor.
Weakness:
- Conversation feels rushed.
- She has no knowledge on pricing -- that always goes to a separate department.
- She is not great at follow through and is hard to get a hold of if you're not face to face. After my HSG test I was having pain in my lower abdomen. I went back and they did an ultrasound and also did some bloodwork. I expected to get results of my ultrasound at that point, however, nobody ever discussed with me they just sent me out the door. I was upset, and in pain.. so I went to the front desk and asked them if I can get some answers from my ultrasound. They told me nobody could help me because they were busy, but they will call me before end of day. I did get a call before end of day, but the whole thing was odd. I never saw Dr. Goodman. I was obviously in discomfort and felt very pushed to the side.
- No bedside manner. Dr. Goodman is matter of fact. It's black or white. There is no gray.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Definitely have lists of questions ready. She will answer them well. If you're the type of person who likes reassurance and good bedside manner, I suggest looking elsewhere for that.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
When meeting with Dr. Goodman she tends to give facts and rush through things. I don't feel like she remembers me when I come for appointments although I've been with her for 3+ years off and on.
Describe the protocols Sandy Goodman used in your cycles at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
I haven't gone into IVF with Dr. Goodman yet. I cannot afford the treatment at her facility and have since switched to CNY. Her only protocol to date has been to put my husband on supplements for his sperm count.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
The nursing staff at the facility is great. I never have issues with them. They answer super quick on the portal. I've gotten blood taken from them several times and they've been awesome with that -- one stick only. They also really held my hand through the HSG Dye Test. I had it done with a different doctor than my normal doctor and was nervous about it but they really helped me out. Great staff!
Describe your experience with The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
The clinic overall actually is really good. I feel as if the protocol for everyone for the testing is the same. You will have to go through bloodwork (you and spouse if hetro couple), you have options of doing HSG and Saline test, you also have options of Genetic testing. You can decline these tests if wanted. The front desk staff is great -- they are helpful and nice when making appointments or changing appointments. The clinic is clean and homey. No issues.
The biggest weakness I have with the clinic honestly is just the bedside manner for my particular doctor. I can't say the same for every doctor at the clinic.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
I have insurance with a high deductible. To date I haven't gotten my IVF done there but I know without insurance it's roughly $12,000 for one round of IVF. The pretesting blood work was maybe around $150 out of pocket. The HSG Dye test was around $600. Each appointment is around $100 for me. I don't remember specifics but that's roughly right. I know the tube surgery I will be having done is going to run me anywhere from $500-$1000 with insurance.

Dr. Goodman (and staff) were very welcoming, didn't seem rushed, were very patient with all of our questions and concerns. We did NOT feel like just a number or just another patient with her...She spent time with us answering questions and having well thought out and truthful answers...

How was your experience with Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
A few things stood out to me about Dr. Goodman.
First, she is very skilled, confident, and knowledgeable. She spent time with us answering questions and having well thought out and truthful answers. She was compassionate. One thing to note, though, is she is a fast talker. I had to take good notes to review later and also have her repeat things at times because she would talk too fast for me to really comprehend. Infertility and the treatments are very involved and complex, so we definitely needed time to fully understand everything she told us.
Dr. Goodman is very compassionate and has a good bedside manner. As an example, a few days after my egg retrieval, I started getting symptoms of OHSS (it was awful!). My husband called the office and was able to get through to Dr. Goodman who assured him I would be okay and to come straight into the office. She saw us immediately and gave me an exam to see if I indeed had OHSS. She determined I had a mild case, but it wasn't severe enough for further medical treatment. She was incredibly sympathetic to the pain and discomfort I was in and took the time to assuage our fears, answer questions, and made it clear that if I wasn't starting to feel better or got worse then we were to come straight back in.
Overall, she is smart, quick, but will definitely slow down and take her time if/when needed.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Don't be afraid to ask questions and to ask her to repeat something if you didn't quite catch everything the first time. Bring a notebook to take notes.

Describe the protocols Sandy Goodman used in your cycles at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
After our consultation, we were required to go to a infertility class that was put on by our clinic at a local hospital that gave the basics on treatments etc..
I don't remember the names of the drugs. But I started by tracking my cycle with ovulation test strips and then taking birth control for 2 weeks to regulate my cycle. Once I reached a certain day (confirmed by blood tests), we began injections (3 of them - i forget what they were, but pretty standard for egg retrievals from what I understand). We were given a short training session on how to do the injections as well. Injections lasted, i think, 3 weeks and then I had my retrieval (blood tests, again, confirming I was ready for retrieval as well as ultrasound on my ovaries).
After egg retrieval, we were told later that day how many eggs were retrieved, then in the next couple days how many embryos were created and finally how many embryos had survived to be frozen.
Next, we had our GC come in for a consultation. After a consult and exam, she was determined fit to be our GC and we went through the legal and psych parts. Once we completed that, we could begin the medical process. Our GC also went on birth control to regulate her cycle and once she was at a certain day (confirmed by blood test), injections began. She had 2 or 3 injections daily (progesterone and something else? I think a 3rd was added at some point). Injections took about 3 weeks and then, after blood tests and ultrasounds, she was ready for embryo transfer. After transfer, she maintained injections for a few weeks, even after confirmed pregnancy. At the 8 week mark, we were released from care and transferred to our own OBGYN for the rest of pregnancy. Everything we did was successful.
My egg retrieval, from first consultation to frozen embryos took about 4 months (however we did take a break in december for holidays).
The surrogacy portion, from first consultation to actually delivering a baby took 1 year.
Describe your experience with your nurse at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic). (Assigned nurse: Sarah (she doesn't work there anymore though))
Sarah was our care coordinator and nurse. She was very quick to communicate, knowledgeable and kind. Shortly after we were released from care, I heard that she had moved on to work somewhere else, though.
Describe your experience with The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
The clinic was great! Clean, efficient, and organized. I didn't have to wait too long to be seen (there was one time I did, but it was not the norm). Everyone I came into contact with was very kind, the staff seemed to get along and I never had any issues.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
We spent about $15,000 at this clinic for treatments (visits, retrieval, transfer, blood tests and ultrasounds etc).
Medications were paid to another company and cost about $6,000.
Legal was about $4,000 and the psych eval was in the hundreds.
Describe Sandy Goodman's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
The key issues I had included: lack of transparency, inflexible/nonsensical policies, use of a cookie cutter clinical approach, no physician interaction outside of major procedures, and Dr. Goodman's terrible bedside manner...Don't expect to see your doctor or any doctor during most of your visits...She has a cold demeanor and is outright condescending when you ask too many questions...Dr. Goodman will not transfer more than 1 embryo and will not transfer mosaics.
The office staff was the one saving grace for RMG. They were kind, had great follow-up, and very responsive. They regularly provided information through the patient portal. I really liked the use of the patient portal because that allowed me to go back and reference directives given to me after my ultrasounds...Strengths: office staff Weaknesses: accessibility of doctors, use of technicians versus doctors in appointments, won't accommodate schedule of a busy professional, won't share information, not told gender of embryos, processes cause significant delays in care
How was your experience with Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
I would not recommend Reproductive Medicine Group or Dr. Goodman to anyone. I have since moved my care and money to a new practice. My experiences with RMG consisted of 2 IUIs (1 resulted in a chemical pregnancy), 1 retrieval and 1 failed embryo transfer. The key issues I had included: lack of transparency, inflexible/nonsensical policies, use of a cookie cutter clinical approach, no physician interaction outside of major procedures, and Dr. Goodman's terrible bedside manner.
Lack of Transparency: Don't expect to see your doctor or any doctor during most of your visits. The techs that complete all your monitoring visits are not allowed to tell you anything and that includes potential number of eggs or share any information about the thickness of your lining for your FET. Someone from another department will call you before the end of the day with next steps. You will not be told the gender of your embryos either which I knew going in and dealt with. I foolishly thought this was all standard practice across all fertility clinics but I learned it is not. In contrast, my new doctor shares and educates me throughout the ENTIRE process. There is a monitor directly in front of me so he can point and count the eggs with me. He ensures I know what to expect before each retrieval. Dr. Goodman told me that they will not share this information (reminder: this is about your own body) because they don't want to create unrealistic expectations. So, they choose to keep you completely in the dark.
Inflexible/Nonsensical Policies: You will waste a lot of precious time if you embark on your IVF journey with this clinic. RMG refuses to complete the long list of to-dos concurrently. As an example, they have to get all your results before they will let you sign consent forms which they require you to do with Dr. Goodman who has very limited availability. By the time your results come in, they give you an appointment 2-4 weeks away because Dr. Goodman is booked. The office staff insists it is some kind of law that the doctor is present at the consent signing even though she is there for 1 minute to ask if you have any questions before a nurse comes in to help you fill out the forms. I consistently faced delays in care due to her schedule. I understand that doctors are busy but this was ridiculous. I had to wait 4 months between my retrieval and FET due to all the administrative hurdles RMG created. I can't even count how many times I heard,"Dr. Goodman doesn't see patients on Fridays" or "Dr. Goodman is on vacation". On the other hand, my current doctor provides me with his cell number, works weekends and expects me to text or call him if I have questions. THAT is what I expect when I pay $12k-$15k for a medical service and you should expect that too.
The Cookie Cutter Approach: I do not feel that Dr. Goodman did or advised on anything that was clinically incorrect and that is based on follow-up questions I asked my new doctor just to see if his answers differ. However, it feels like she uses a standard copy/paste approach for her patients. I was a fast stim for my egg retrieval and she never bothered to adjust my medications to slow the growth and to obtain higher quality eggs. It felt like she set the protocol in the beginning and let it run with no additional follow-up. My 2nd and 3rd retrieval (not with RMG) consisted of a lot more medication tweaking which yielded higher quality embryos.
Limited/No Physician Interaction: I rarely saw Dr. Goodman and never spoke to her on the phone. Of all the appointments I had, I saw her for the initial consult, saline ultrasound, 1 FET and 2 follow-up appointments after the IUI failed and the FET failed. She did not do my retrieval or either of my IUIs. I believe their IUIs are always done by nurses. For the retrieval, Dr. Goodman was again not available so this was done by another doctor. Techs complete all the ultrasounds for your retrieval and FET prep. If you're lucky, you may catch your doctor breezing by you in the hallway. If you have questions, you will need to call the office and talk to a nurse. I've never had Dr. Goodman answer any of my questions unless she is sitting right in front of me.
Bedside Manner: I don't need a therapist but I also need my doctor to understand how difficult the infertility road is and that I have a lot of questions floating around in my head. There were several occasions when she was outright condescending. One of her responses that I will never forget is when she said, "I can't be here all day going over all these scenarios with you". That was in response to my many questions about what comes next and when.
At the end of the day, I should have done more research so shame on me for not doing it. If you want to be valued like a human being, 100% clued into what they are doing to your body and what is happening to it then this is not the practice for you. Believe me when I say, you can find better care elsewhere.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Fertility options are limited in this part of Florida. If you do not have the luxury of going out-of-state then think about the things that are most important to you and make sure your doctor can live up to your expectations. If RMG is your only option, I would highly recommend talking to several doctors in the practice before choosing one. Lastly, if at anytime during the process you feel that your care is inadequate then pause to consider other options (e.g. new doctor/clinic). It is tempting to plow forward given how impatient we are to hold our future baby in our arms but at the end of the day it's emotionally draining to deal with subpar care.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
There is a lot to be desired in Dr. Goodman's bedside manner. She has a cold demeanor and is outright condescending when you ask too many questions. While some clinics/physicians want you to feel that they are there to support you through this hard journey, Dr. Goodman does not. I had to wait MONTHS between treatments because I could not get on her calendar. Responses from her office staff included "she doesn't see patients on this date" or "she is on vacation". You will never see Dr. Goodman or any other physician outside of the major events like the egg retrieval, embryo transfer or consults. All ultrasounds are conducted by techs and she never once called to check-in after an egg retrieval or embryo transfer (even when it results in a negative test).
Describe the protocols Sandy Goodman used in your cycles at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
Egg Retrieval: Menopur, Gonal F and Lupron trigger (6 retrieved/2 normal)
FET: Estrogen (2X weekly) for approximately 2 weeks and daily Progesterone injections for 5 days prior to FET

We did a freeze all cycle [with Dr. Yeko] due to risk of OHSS and so we could do genetic testing. For our first two frozen embryo transfers I used progesterone and delestrogen IM injections. For this third cycle I am using the same but adding in vaginal progesterone and medrol to hopefully assist with implantation...I always felt like I knew what to expect and the next steps. He will be open and honest with you about everything. There is never a guarantee that you will get pregnant but when it does not happen he has sympathy for you and keeps you motivated for the next steps.
Nursing staff [at The Reproductive Medicine Group] has been great from the start. Always made me feel comfortable to discuss uncomfortable topics and have always called me back the same. I have had some trouble getting in contact with my assigned coordinator to start a cycle...[monitoring appointments] were always in the morning which was great, I could get in and out before work and still be on time. The ultrasound tech was also wonderful and the the process smooth.
How was your experience with Timothy Yeko at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Dr. Yeko has been great from the first consultation to where I am now, however treatment has been unsuccessful. After each failed cycle he fully explained the next steps and gave me all of my options. He always explained every procedure and answered all questions. Antagonist protocol with lupron trigger. I was on follistim and menopur. I do not know the rational but the results were great. I had 51 eggs retrieved, 42 were mature, 34 fertilized, 11 made it to day 5, 8 remained after testing. We did a freeze all cycle due to risk of OHSS and so we could do genetic testing. For our first two frozen embryo transfers I used progesterone and delestrogen IM injections. For this third cycle I am using the same but adding in vaginal progesterone and medrol to hopefully assist with implantation.

Only transferred 1 embroyo at the doctors suggestion. I trusted his recommendation so I followed it for the first two cycles. For this upcoming third cycle I insisted I wanted to transfer 2 embryos.
[Dr. McCormick is] a huge source of knowledge. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. She’ll answer every single one with honesty... For IVF, we did the Antagonist Protocol (Gonal-F, Menopur and Cetrotide) with a Lupron Trigger. For my age, I had amazing results. 15 follicles produced 15 mature eggs. 13 out of the 15 eggs fertilized. 10 of those became 5 day blastocysts. Those embryos were sent for PGT-A testing which resulted in 2 healthy embryos. At my age, Dr McCormick was thrilled with those results.
The nursing staff [at The Reproductive Medicine Group] was amazing. All very caring and seemed genuinely invested in a good outcome for us. The IVF Coordinator and the ART Coordinators were amazing. I had constant access to information every step of the way...RMG will only do eSET. It’s less risky and yields better results...Strengths -timeliness of appointments -ease of appointment scheduling -friendly staff -financial coordinators willing to advocate on your behalf with insurance. I’ve worked with 3 out of the 4 offices locations. While South Tampa was my ”home base”, The staff at Clearwater and North Tampa were great too.
How was your experience with Betsy McCormick at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
She’s very caring. We always felt like a person. She was easy to talk to and was so relatable. She was always very honest with us based on age and other factors. While she was honest, we never felt like she couldn’t help us. On the contrary, she gave us hope. She put our minds at ease. We believed in her and we achieved our goal.

Our primary issue was mild male factor infertility. We were given the option to do either IUI or IVF. While she said that our chances were higher IVF, she understood my reservations. She never pushed. We started with Clomid 100mg first. I was an over responder and the cycle was cancelled due to a high risk of multiples. We did 3 other cycles of Femara at 2.5 mg. We were not successful. When we saw her for a consultation for next steps, she was very honest that IVF was the only option left to overcome to male factor issue. We had insurance coverage for both IUI and IVF. Our insurance covered 80% of the cost of procedures. For IUI (including specimen collection and washing) it cost $45 per cycle.
For IVF, our OOP costs including monitoring, bloodwork, surgery center, anesthesia and physician fees for both egg retrieval and embryo transfer was approximately $5,000.

I never felt rushed [with Dr. Yeko], every question I had was thoroughly discussed, I felt like I had options and knowledge provided to me to make an informed decision on how to proceed. Dr. Yeko clearly cares about his patients and treats them with respect...He has excellent bedside manner, performed my HCG procedure with a full explanation of every step along the way, laid out every treatment option along with percentages of conceiving and pricing all while helping us come to a decision.
Initial consult [at The Reproductive Medicine Group] was around $350, full blood panel was around $1,000, genetic testing was $650, HSG was $900...Strengths the clinic had were appointment availability, customer service, friendly, knowledgeable, prompt with call backs and compassion. The weaknesses would be that I saw different nurses and they have so many locations that sometimes I had to travel for certain appointments.

Describe the protocols Timothy Yeko used in your cycles at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
I had a baseline ultrasound on cycle day 1-3 depending on when full flow started. I was put on 100mg of clomid ( CD 3-7)with timed intercourse for my first 3 cycles. We then discussed switching to IVF. Again I had a baseline ultrasound, 100mg of clomid (CD 3-7), back several days later for a follicle scan which usually showed 2-3 follicles over 18mm, when they were above 19mm I triggered with 250 ovidrel, IUI (#1-3) 36 hours later. All resulting in negative pregnancy tests.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
The nursing staff was excellent, Tiffany and Ashley both performed IUI’s for me and were kind and compassionate. The woman who did my baseline and follicle scans (who’s name I can’t remember) became a favorite of mine. She was honest and transparent and never missed my ovulation.

We are self pay due to insurance not covering infertility. All totals are rounded. Initial consult was around $350, full blood panel was around $1,000, genetic testing was $650, HSG was $900, ultra sounds were $155 each ($1,395 total), clomid was $30 each cycle ($180 total), Ovidrel was $100 per vial ($300 total), IUIs were $350 each ($1,050 total). IVF consult will be $350. So in total we’ve paid $6,175 while under the care of doctor Yeko.

We have our consult for IVF scheduled this Monday 4/29 which is our 3 year wedding anniversary!
Dr. Goodman is very knowledgeable and able to answer every question with more than just a vague answer. She clarifies why she chose my protocol, what studies she's looked at and what the Society of Reproductive Medicine recommends. She also was willing to do additional testing that I asked for.... The only thing I didn't like was that I wish before I had started my journey that I had been told about all of the studies and their differences so that I had a better expectation of what the success rate was based on my age.
All of the nursing staff [Repro Med Group] was very nice and easy to get in contact with. The only thing I didn't like was that each nurse gave a different answer to the same question and I spent most of my time with sonographers rather than nurses. However, if I had a question that the sonographer couldn't answer, she would always have a nurse call me.... Strengths - Easy to schedule appointments and be seen; I never felt rushed; All of my questions were answered; Easy to get in contact with; High success rates.

I've heard of other patients having to wait so be prepared for that. Do as much research as you can so that you can ask educated questions. Ask her to break down success rates based on age, not just success rates for that treatment.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
The clinic was very good at making sure I was seen on time and not left waiting. Dr. Goodman was available to answer my questions but I wish more information about statistics had been given to me. She is very knowledgeable and up-to-date with her information, and she will always clarify why she doesn't prefer one protocol vs another. The only thing I didn't like was that I wish before I had started my journey that I had been told about all of the studies and their differences so that I had a better expectation of what the success rate was based on my age. When I went back for my second consult with her after my IUIs didn't work, I had more knowledge and was able to ask more questions. I did feel a little rushed with her but not to the point that I felt uncomfortable asking her so many questions. The only other thing I found problematic was that the staff routinely gave me different answers for the same question.
Describe the protocols Sandy Goodman used in your cycles at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
She recommended that I start with medicated IUI's rather than unmedicated. Her plan was to do 3 of them and then re-group and decide what to do next. When the IUI's didn't work, she suggested moving forward with IVF rather than an IUI with injectable meds. She did not recommend a mini-IVF cycle (she said they don't do those) and she said they have not started doing INVO-cell. She recommended if I had the finances to do IVF first before moving to donor eggs. This protocol was picked because of my age and diminished ovarian reserve. I don't recall the success rate of IVF for someone with my issues, but I do recall Dr. Goodman advising me of the price and that I would have maybe one or two embryos if I did IVF (without PGS testing them). She did seem to be an advocate of PGS testing, but said they would not transfer an abnormal embryo.

Uninsured ultrasounds are approx. $150.00 (I think); IUI ~$350; IVF ~ $27,000.
Describe Sandy Goodman's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
At the IVF orientation I went to (ran by Dr. Yeko), I learned that RMG does not prefer to do multiple embryo transfer because of the risks associated with it.
I felt that Dr. McCormick didn't address all of my needs. She diagnosed me with Hashimoto's only after I pushed to get more thyroid testing. She didn't discuss any plan to address the Hashimoto's once pregnant. I think she is knowledgeable about certain things, but autoimmune disorders were not among those things. Also during testing I had intense anxiety about repeating my HSG, but she would not budge because we were barely over a year since my last one.
Front desk staff at South Tampa office [Repro Med Grp] are not very warm. They continued to spell my husbands name wrong in different ways, despite correcting this many times. I always called the North Tampa office to schedule because they were easier to work with.... The nurse Tiffany was great. On the other hand, I always felt like the ivf coordinator Heather was annoyed with me - not a great way to go through such a difficult experience.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Betsy McCormick at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Consider your own individual needs and if Dr. McCormick is the right fit. I've met people who loved her, but in the end, she wasn't right for what I need.

She recommended IVF with ICSI due male factor issues. Also recommended PGT because of previous miscarriage due to chromosomal issues. We didn't continue with her, but have followed these same recommendations with new doctor. She didn't address Hashimoto's - but new doctor (Dr. Skinner in Barbados) has plan to help address this to reduce chances of miscarriage.
Describe your experience with your nurse at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic). (Assigned nurse: Tiffany (nurse) was great! Heather (IVF coordinator was always annoyed with me))
Worked with Tiffany throughout testing - she was so warm and caring and compassionate.
Heather was IVF coordinator. Did not like her at all. She always acted annoyed with me. Felt treated as a child (i.e. "if I don't these results by this date I'll have to cancel your appointment" when there was no reason to think I wouldn't get her past results).
Describe your experience with The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
Front desk staff at South Tampa office are not very warm. They continued to spell my husbands name wrong in different ways, despite correcting this many times. Felt that plan for testing was not communicated well - ended up scrambling for tests that we hadn't been told about in order to be able to keep scheduled appointments. Frustrating.

Expensive. We were planning to pay close to 30k for a multi try plan where you get two tries with egg retrieval and unlimited transfers.

She recommends always doing single embryo transfer. Not open to multiple embryo transfer.
What specific things went wrong at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Dr Goodman is a caring dr. She is very good at what she does. My hsg I didn’t feel a thing. I wish she would do the iui instead of the nurses. I had complications with my iuis and were very painful. My iuis have failed because a problem was discovered and I had to do more testing. Now I am possibly looking at surgery.... My treatments were simple. Letrozole and trigger shot. We used ultrasound for the timing of the iui. I was a great responder.Unfortunately it did not work for me. I am now looking at surgery bc of a complication that was found during the iui
I would have to say that my iui nurse [at the Reproductive Medicine Group] was awesome. When she found a complication and knew it was not right she advocated for me. The nurses always answer my questions in a timely manner either by phone or patient portal... The weaknesses are they don’t keep copies of your ultrasound images. The iui are not tweaked individually. It almost feels like a one size fits all. The strengths would be the skill of the physician. The nurses always respond to my questions in a timely manner

My iui were 375. The ultrasound monitoring was 155 a piece. My trigger shot was 92 and my letrozole was less than 15 dollars. I believe my hsg was about 500 but that was with insurance. My copay for consults are 80 bucks.
Dr. Tarantino was absolutely amazing and explained everything in detail, the thing I didn’t like was I never really saw him after the first two visits everything was done by the staff. I wasn’t sure if everything was going good. It was hard to get ahold of anyone in the office to find out about the embryos...We had to do IVF due to the fact that my husband has azoospermia. Dr. Tarantino didn’t give me an aggressive treatment.
[The Reproductive Medicine Group clinic is] Very expensive, communication is vague but the dr is excellent. It would be nice if someone would communicate in details any results. We had to do IVF due to the fact that my husband has azoospermia. Dr. Tarantino didn’t give me an aggressive treatment. I was on the lowest dose of medications and was able to make 14 eggs, 12 fertilized, 3 made it to day 5 blastocyst, 2 of them were abnormal and we only had one to transfer. I was on menopur, galirenix, progesterone, estrogen.

The trigger shot that I had to take to mature my eggs before aspiration. The dosage they told me was incorrect and if it wasn’t for me calling the on call number I would have messed up the whole cycle and being that I was paying for everything out of pocket that would have been extremely expensive to continue

Describe the protocols Sandy Goodman used in your cycles at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
Dr Goodman recommended that we try (3) IUIs first to see if we could have success. Due to cost this is what we decided to do. Unfortunately IUIs were not successful so Dr Goodman then said we should move to IVF. Because of my age we decided that PGS testing was the way to go. This required that we first go through a cycle to retrieve my eggs and then freeze all the embryos. We had them testing and ended up with 4 good embryos. I wanted to put in 2, but Dr Goodman told me that it’s better for me and for the sake of having a live birth with less complications to transfer one embryo, so we did.

Describe Sandy Goodman's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
She seemed confident that putting in one embryo was the way to go and for us it worked!
She [Dr. Betsy McCormick] is not personable or compassionate at all. she just goes by statistics, physiology, and averages. She gives zero hope to someone who is desperate to have a child. She blames age as being the absolute end to possible positive outcomes and pushes for IVF too much. I had to push back and almost demand to try IUI since i do not have the funds for IVF at that clinic as they are outrageous in cost and they will not price match. They have cost saving options but only if you are under a certain age.
I feel the nurses [at Reproductive Medicine Group-Tampa] do a much better job showing compassion than the doctors. Nurses will take the time and sit with me and answer every question in detail. They showed that they cared.... I do not have any complaints about the clinic. However I feel like their equipment might be a little outdated. their ultrasound machines, especially the monitors were old. It would also be nice to have the sonograms on a screen visible to the patient.

She seems to follow the same protocol for all patients. A friend and I both went to RMG and both got same treatment plan, timing, and dosage of medications. I feel like I was not treated specifically to my case but instead as national average. I have a shorter cycle and she still treated me as if i have a 28 day cycle.

Dr Goodman is very nice. I just never see or hear from her. Ever. I only see the techs, and clinic staff. 3 unsuccessful IUI's and I haven't heard anything from a doctor. I've asked the techs if there is anything else I/we can do to increase chances ect and I'm told no. No support or communication from my doctor during this last 4 months.... Diagnosed with possible PCOS and Uterine polyps. Surgically removed polyps. Started Femera. Initially 5mg a day on cycle day 3-7. Ovidrel injection on day 12 and IUI on day 14. Unsuccessful. Same dose for cycle #2. Did not ovulate.
Great at scheduling and communicating what's needed for and at appointments. You will feel like a number. Even though the nurses and staff [Reproductive Medicine Group] are very nice, there is not a lot of individual attention and/or support.... The initial testing is the most expensive so far. Greater than $7,000 just for labs, hysteroscopy with polyps removed.... Missed an entire cycle dur to lack of communication from the clinic.

Called next day for appt to schedule IUI and the clinic was closed for a staff meeting. Inwas unable to speak with anyone and missed an entire cycle for IUI.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
Had an ultrasound on day 11 to check for follicles, which there were none. I was told to monitor via OPKs and call if I obtained a positive OPK so the IUI could be scheduled. Had a progesterone blood draw on day 21. Had a positive OPK that evening. Called the next day to schedule and the clinic was closed for a stagg meeting. Missed an entire cycle dur to lack of communication from the clinic. No other ultrasound was scheduled after the one on day 11. Had they scheduled an additional one.for that cycle, they would have been able to tell if I was ovulating. I never had any communication about the progesterone lab results either. No follow up for that missed cycle from anyone. Was told at next appointment that my meds would be increased.
Clinic lost my initial FMLA paperwork I gave them to fill out. A week later I followed up and inquired if it was complete and I was told they couldn't find it. Had to have my HR director fax another copy over.
Dr. Goodman has always spent the time I needed to answer all my questions warmly yet candidly. After my lap, she explained my results in laymen’s terms and was optimistic. My only negative comment is I felt she tried to use fear tactics into convincing me to get my husband a genetic test. When I never wanted any of that testing to begin with.I had to explain to her more than once I did not want it, but she finally understood and respected my decision.
Usually minimal wait time [at Reproductive Medicine Group-Tampa]. Although once I did wait an hour. Mostly they are very professional. The surgery center staff was incredible and comforted my anxiety during my preparation time. The office is clean and organized. I would suggest they discuss emotional support resources for infertility or at least ask how you are doing. There are brochures you can grab in the lobby but I would feel better if someone at least checked in.

Very compassionate, uses optimistic language. It made me feel hopeful. Organized and never bothered if you ask the same thing a few times.
Describe your experience with The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
Usually minimal wait time.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Sandy Goodman at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
I had good coverage for testing and procedures but my out of pocket costs were sometimes high. I was fortunate enough to have been able to save to cover this. Everything was due upon service with no options for payment plans.
Overall she [Dr. McCormick] is a good doctor and we achieved the results we wanted and will do another transfer...She was very kind but not as direct of a communicator as I would like. Additionally we were not aware of her scheduled vacation during our treatment and had to postpone transfer because of it... I was also never told that IVF babies are at a higher risk of heart abnormalities until I was sent to a specialist during my pregnancy. I would have liked to known this up front.
The clinic [The Reproductive Medicine Group] was great. My only wish would be to open one in St Pete as they are only in the Tampa side of town. The retrieval clinic was clean and well run and the nurses for my retrieval were amazing...They [nurses] were all caring and wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better staff...Overall she [Dr. McCormick] is a good doctor and we achieved the results we wanted and will do another transfer
How was your experience with Betsy McCormick at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
She was very kind but not as direct of a communicator as I would like. Additionally we were not aware of her scheduled vacation during our treatment and had to postpone transfer because of it. To speed up the process we ultimately had Dr. Tarantino perform our transfer. This still pushed my son’s birthday into Jan of the next year, costing us over $5k of additional medical expenses. I was also never told that IVF babies are at a higher risk of heart abnormalities until I was sent to a specialist during my pregnancy. I would have liked to known this up front. Overall she is a good doctor and we achieved the results we wanted and will do another transfer.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Betsy McCormick at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
More direct communication and provide medical details when reviewing recommendations and test results. Many women do extensive research on he IVF process and want to know the specifics of their hormone levels, number of follicles, etc. Don’t assume we don’t understand this info.

I don’t remember all the specifics. But I think I took menopur and gonal-f then added cetrotide towards then end. I can’t remember my trigger shot

We spent over $30k for our IVF treatment. This includes medicine but excludes the several thousands we spent on IUIs before that.
Describe Betsy McCormick's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
Dr. McCormick was super professional yet very welcoming. After my initial consultation where all of my testing and blood work was ordered, Dr. McCormick sat down with me and took the time to go over every result. She explained what she thought was my best option to start with but also gave me other options that may work if I did not want to proceed with medications. I felt very taken care of!
One of my favorite things about this practice [RMG- Tampa] is their Patient Portal with app capabilities. I am able to see all of my results, appointment reminders, bills due and even message withe the staff (they are always quick to respond!). I usually show up to my ultrasound appointments 30 minutes to an hour early and they almost ALWAYS take me right back. Everyone is very welcoming, beginning at the front desk. I think the only weakness I would say is I had to wait 3 weeks for my initial consultation, I wish I could have gotten in sooner but other than that everything has been perfect so far

Dr. McCormick was very professional, had an amazing bedside manner and informative. I felt like I was in good hands from the moment I first walked in to the office and every appointment after. She did not pressure me to choose a certain path but was confident in her recommendations.

I was previously treated by an ob/gyn that was trained in "super ovulation" and IUIs. I went to her for about a year and had a total of 6 very painful IUIs. She would never give an reasoning for my treatment or the medications she wanted me to take and it almost felt like she was guessing. I regret waiting so long to establish with Dr. McCormick at RMG. Dr. McCormick told me at my consultation she did not think I was quite at the IVF stage (my previous doctor had recommended) since my past IUIs were so painful and my left tube was closed. My previous doctor was not monitoring my follicles prior to any of my IUIs either. She started me with Femara 5mg CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger shot. I have had 2 PAIN-FREE IUIs with a confirmed mature follicle on the right side (yayyy) but unfortunately both resulted in big fat negatives. I currently have a consultation scheduled with Dr. McCormick in early October to discuss IVF.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
The nursing staff is always pleasant and well prepared. I feel every question I have asked was answered in full and I was never left wondering about anything! This is a very tedious and technical process to go through with hundreds of potential questions and scenarios. The nursing staff is well educated and takes care of their patients.

Dr. Sandy Goodman is very compassionate in the way she explains each concern and process. I've never felt lost after seeing her because she explains each treatment or surgery in complete details. The day of my surgery after being diagnosed with Endometriosis she did an excellent job with the actual surgery with only having one excision which is amazing. She's easy to talk to without judgement and is truly concerned in regards to your overall health with pregnancy.
The front staff at the north tampa office [of The Reproductive Medicine Group] is super nice and I've never had a bad attitude from any of them. They are very helpful whenever I needed something, which is hard to come by these days. The doctors are crazy packed so I guess as soon as you know you need to come in call for an appointment. I haven't had any issues yet because they know when things are time sensitive you need to come in and they will make room

As a 28 year old seeking out a fertility specialist I had no idea what to expect especially after suffering 4 previous miscarriages. I never thought I would be in the position I am in today, but after seeking professional help at the Reproductive Medicine Group I can now say that I am confident in the medical team to fulfill my dreams of being a mom. The medical staff and Dr. Sandy Goodman are compassionate everytime I've walked into their office. I've never felt like my questions and concerns were ignored or overlooked.

I am not quiet there yet. I had to have laparoscopic surgery to remove my Endometriosis so I am now finally able to start the IVF process. I am actually starting in the next week with the birth control pills once I get my menses and will be meeting with their ART department with my schedule so i wont know more until then. I am fully confident in their professional experience to have a healthy pregnancy.

Well my insurance paid for the diagnostic procedures prior to infertility treatments. I had copays so that wasnt too bad. My insurance doesnt cover IVF so that was definitely a harsh hit but it did cover my medications so I had some relief. I already knew that going into the appointment so I wasnt shocked.
Describe Sandy Goodman's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
I actually just spoke to my doctor about this because with the cost of IVF being so high I was confused if we should be doing one or two embryos. But she reassured me that the odds are just as high with doing one verses two. Plus she wants to make sure that I have a healthy pregnancy since there's a high chance on one of the embryos splitting causing me to have triplets if I elect to do two embryos which then increases my health and the babies.
Dr. Yeko was pleasant. Being overweight, you are sometimes worried when you see a new physician. He did not address is make us feel unsafe uncomfortable at all. We did feel he was matter of fact. He ordered some tests, some of those didn't give conclusive answer. I feel way better those should have been ordered again. He did not address my husband's low sperm count with suggestions to see a urologist or offers to put on clomid or anything. He gave us a potential treatment course with his recommendations and the odds get thought each treatment held for us.
Reproductive Medicine Group has a good reputation. There facilities are clean. They were mostly punctual for accommodating appointments. No place is perfect. Sometimes hard to get through on the phone.... The nursing staff was great, except the one that did my last iui. I might have been sensitive, but it really hurt physically and emotionally. The sperm washing was very low,and she offered very little encouragement or hope. The procedure that time was painful.

Trust your gut, be your advocate. It's ok to question any doctor.

Dr. Yeko was a nice enough doctor. I don't feel like I truly understood or got a definitive answer for a clear diagnosis. I feel like some additional testing/resting should have been ordered. I feel like he didn't address my husband's sperm issues at all. I feel like there were some gaps which lead us to take a long break before making any additional attempts to grow our family. I did find all the staff very friendly. It was a clean office.

We went through two iui cycles that were not successful. We are taking a break to decide if we want to pursue additional treatment.

Insurance covered diagnostic testing, but no coverage for infertility. Prices will vary per person based on number of ultrasounds needed, etc. A complete iui cycle including meds, ultrasounds, and procedure cost us @$850. We have not done ivf yet, but we were told to expect that to be between $15,000-$20,000.
On the occasions I met with Dr Yeko, he was very personable and talked to me, not at me. He took time to talk to me and did not hurry our meetings... I liked his manner and way of explaining everything...He decided to have me try femara since I had six IUIs with Clomid without a viable pregnancy. We tried three cycles with femara and HcG injection for ovulation with no success. After the third fruitless cycle, I met with him again and he (kindly) told me I was "normal, but unlucky."
I do not think I have ever waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment...I've been to their North Tampa and South Tampa sites and found both clean, pleasant, and organized. The south Tampa office building is a rather drab, old building, but their office suites are comfortable and updated. They are easy to find and parking is not a problem...The staff at RMG are kind and know me If they see me outside the office building. They are kind and empathetic to the difficulty of each visit being a sign that the treatment didn't work. I feel like they are part of my support network in this endeavor, not just my medical team.
How was your experience with Timothy Yeko at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Dr Yeko seems very knowledgeable and answered my questions. He gives an overwhelming amount of information, but he takes notes and draws diagrams for me to take home so I can process everything. I have only met with him twice-my initial consult and a follow up after my first IUIs with his group did not yield a positive pregnancy test. I liked his manner and way of explaining everything, though I learned to bring my best friend and my mother to my follow up after attending my initial consult alone. It was really helpful to have some extra sets of ears and someone else to ask the questions I didn't think of.
I have been told that patients under the care of other doctors at this practice are seen, at least briefly, by her doctor each and every time she visits. I don't know that having Dr Yeko "pop" in for every ultrasound and be the one who performed my IUIs would have increased
my chance of success, but I think it is good to know in case that helps someone else choose their doctor.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Timothy Yeko at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Bring a companion to your consults because he is a fountain of information and it's a lot to process. As I mentioned earlier, I have only seen him for an initial and follow up consult. I have not seen him during my ultrasounds and he has not performed any of my five IUIs with his group.

Prior to becoming his patient, I had an HSG, laparoscopic tubal study, saline sonogram, and mutilple blood panels that all came back within norms for my age. Under my previous fertility doctor I had six IUIs using Clomid and HcG injection to stimulate ovulation. I had two pregnancies and three miscarriages (twins). After my fifth and sixth IUIs yielded no positive pregnancy tests, I decided that maybe I should try a new doctor, so I switched to Dr Yeko based on a friend's very strong recommendation.
After my consult, Dr Yeko ordered a fresh blood panel and genetic testing which also came back within norms for my age. He decided to have me try femara since I had six IUIs with Clomid without a viable pregnancy. We tried three cycles with femara and HcG injection for ovulation with no success. After the third fruitless cycle, I met with him again and he (kindly) told me I was "normal, but unlucky." Some people might dislike that assessment, but I appreciated the honesty and not being given a bunch of nonsense excuses. Plus, I'd rather be "normal" than have a conditon that reduces my chances of conception. He went over IVF with me again but also told me he did not feel that it was unreasonable to continue "at least a few more times" with IUI if I wasn't ready to consider IVF yet as they had been unable to find any impediment to me getting pregnant that way. I have had IUIs four and five under Dr Yeko's care without a positive pregnancy test. I hope to have my sixth at this practice next month. If it does not work, I will have another follow up with Dr Yeko to discuss my options.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
As I mentioned earlier, they are kind and empathetic to the difficulty of going through fertility treatments. I've only had one encounter that I felt the need to discuss with managing staff. The nurse did no harm, I just think she was a bit thoughtless and inexperienced and needed some more practice and guidance. Otherwise, the staff has been pleasant and supportive. They give the impression of being invested in my success.

Dr. McCormick is very knowledgeable and kind. She explained all treatment options & her recommended course of treatment. The negative is you RARELY ever see her. You never also receive phone calls from her. Only the nurses.... Dr. McCormick suggested after all test results came back that we had unexplained infertility. I have PCOS and Stage 2 endometriosis. The doctor offered laparoscopic surgery to clear my tubes but they were not blocked after a hysteroscopy was performed with dye. She suggested we try IUI which we have done 2 times with femara and HCG trigger shot unsuccessfully my husband and I will try one more IUI and then we are moving on to IVF if unsuccessful. I am disappointed that the doctor would not increase my dosage of femara for our last IUI.
the office [The Reproductive Medicine Group, Tampa] is great it's very convenient with a multiple locations throughout the area. They accommodate you on Saturdays and Sundays if needed and do you have a brand new Surgical Center in one location. The doctors are knowledgeable and very good at what they do but the blue number one negative thing is that you don't interact with them enough. They do not return calls however the nurses do. Very compassionate kind and understanding

Dr Yeko is a good communicator-he provided an overwhelming amount of information, but he made notes and diagrams for me to take home to give me chance to process everything. Prior to switching to Dr Yeko, I had a HSG, multiple blood panels, saline sonogram and a laproscopic tube study; all results were within norms for my age. I had six IUI cycles with clomid and HcG injections to stimulate ovulation with two pregnancies and three miscarriages (twins). After the sixth IUI without a viable pregnancy, I decided that a new doctor might be the change I needed.
I switched to Dr Yeko. He reviewed my treatment course to that point, explained IVF as an option, and ordered an additional blood panel, karyotyping for genetic problems, and prescribed femara instead of clomid. Those tests were also normal. I had three IUIs with this course without a positive preganacy test. I had a follow up consult with him at this point where he reviewed IVF but also stated that based on all the information we had, I was "normal, but unlucky." Some women might not like that assessment, but I appreciated the candor and knowing that there wasn't a medical impediment to me successfully conceiving. Based on me being "normal," he told me it would not be unreasonable to continue with IUI "at least a few more times" if I was not ready to advance to IVF. I elected to continue with IUI and he ordered an increase to my femara and a therapeutic HSG to make sure my tubes were patent for my next attempts. I have had another two IUIs without a positive test and plan to have my sixth IUI under Dr Yeko's care (12th overall) next month.

I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen, even when I once mistook my appointment time and arrived late.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Timothy Yeko at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
Consults cost me $60 (specialist copay). Each ultrasound is $155, each IUI is $200, my mail order HcG injection is $100, and a pharmacy discount card gets me my femara for $12 at WalMArt. I order my specimens from Xytex. They cost just over $1000 each, including shipping and taxes. None is covered by insurance. My insurance did cover my bloodwork and therapuetic HSG.

Vaginal ultrasound to check for cysts on around day 3 of period. If all looked normal, begin taking 5mg of Femara that night for 5 nights. The choice of this drug because it worked better with less side effects. In about another week and 1/2 have another transvaginal ultrasound to check for folicle size and quantity. If either ovary side had one folicle over around 18mm, I was instructed to either take an injectable that night or the next night between 8-10 pm. In order for the follicle to mature in time for an iui procedure in around 3 days later. The morning of the iui, husband would go in to give sperm sample. After the process of the sperm, I would go in about 3 hours later for insemination. After a very painful 1st insemination, the nurse instructed me to have a full bladder the next time which did help. I would then lay on the table after the iui for about 15 mins.

My issue is related to anovulation due to amenorrhea, so Dr. Yeko recommended (up to 3 rounds of) clomid to induce a period. When all three rounds failed and my hormone levels fell even lower, he changed his plan of action to go straight to IVF...Dr. Yeko spent a lot of time with us and treated our situation as an individual case... not just a "typical" infertility issue. He did not sugar-coat my diagnosis, but encouraged us to try another option when the first one failed. He thoroughly answered any questions that we had and we felt very comfortable with him and his staff!
Great clinic [Repro Medicine Group - Tampa] all around! Highly recommend the S Tampa office!...Every nurse that we met and our coordinator were all extremely pleasant and compassionate towards us....Unfortunately, we have to go with one of the most expensive options of IVF and our insurance doesn't cover most of it! I believe our projected cost is about 25K...He [Dr. Yeko] thoroughly answered any questions that we had and we felt very comfortable with him and his staff!
How was your experience with Timothy Yeko at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Dr. Yeko was very comforting and took his time going over our results and explaining everything with us. He treated us like an individual case, not a "typical infertility issue" and we felt confident in his recommendations and plan of action.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Timothy Yeko at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
Let Dr. Yeko know your level of readiness and eagerness to have a baby. Once he knew how eager we were, he sped up the process for us!

Describe Timothy Yeko's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic).
Dr. Yeko recommends eSET since my husband and I are "still young" (30 years old) and will have a high chance of success with eSET.
He [Dr. Tarantino] has a very different sense of humor that sometimes was hard to read. I also did not feel like he put enough effort into our treatments. I was the one requesting more test and asking for more meds to be used during the IUI's we had performed. There was no direction on how many we should do before exploring IVF. I was already almost 35 when I visited him for the first consultation so I feel like now after doing more research and talking to others going through treatments, that we should have been put on meds to increase our chances right away.
They [Reproductive Med Group] have multiple offices so location choices were nice but only certain doctors at certain locations. It seemed each doctor would operate out of 2 of the 4 offices. If you were willing to see you doctor at either it made getting appointments easier. The N Tampa office also had a surgery center located in the same building.... I just remember one of my IUI cycles they hadn't put me in the actual schedule for my appointment the day I was ovulating

I was already almost 35 when I visited him for the first consultation so I feel like now after doing more research and talking to others going through treatments, that we should have been put on meds to increase our chances right away. We spent so much money in just IUI's doing 4 natural cycles and then only 1 cycle with chlomid on the 5th one, and again I had to ask for it. I felt like he would have just kept letting us waste money. It turned me off from going there and so I went to USF IVF starting in May of 2018.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Samuel Tarantino at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic)?
You have to have a lot of knowledge about what you want going into it already because he is very passive.

I felt sometimes that we had to request things and there was not a lot of direction given to us.
Describe the protocols Samuel Tarantino used in your cycles at The Reproductive Medicine Group (Prelude Network Clinic) and their degree of success.
4 natural cycle IUI with home OPK using donor sperm. 1 cycle with chlomid and home OPK using donor sperm. Also performed all testing for hormone levels during cycle and ovarian reserve (AMH) along with saline sonogram and HSG. Before we did the first cycle of IUI he removed polyps found in my uterus during the Saline sonogram. He also perform my D&C for my miscarriage (missed abortion).

Quiet and soft spoken but very nice. Also tended to be passive at times but helpful when approached with questions or concerns.

I just remember one of my IUI cycles they hadn't put me in the actual schedule for my appointment the day I was ovulating. (they had accidently schedule it for like a week later) Luckily they still saw me but it made me get anxiety for a few minutes thinking they would cancel that cycle.
