This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

Viable sperm was collected during the biopsy to be stored for later use. Then, Dr. Kovac prescribed Clomid for four months to increase hormone levels and try to stimulate sperm production. Finally, another round of blood work and a sperm analysis were performed to check if the Clomid was effective.

My husband had 3 sperm analysis done [with Dr. Jason Kovac]. After the first analysis we discovered the problem and answers our questions as to why weren’t getting pregnant. After it was discovered my husband has slow, immobile sperm, Dr. Kovac wanted him to get a series of blood tests to make sure it was genetic. These blood tests were very expensive and since we were paying out of pocket we decided to stop seeing him for financial reasons.
The clinic and staff [at Urology of Indiana] were wonderful...the room my husband made his sperm analysis was clean. There was plenty of room and variety of items to “help with your deposit”. My husband said the only thing that he would change is that while he was making his deposit, he could hear the nurses at the nurses station laughing and talking to one another. He said it was a bit awkward but not overwhelming to where he would never go back.
