This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics. This data represents the outcomes of IVF cycles when using a person's own eggs.
For more information please see our FAQs.
Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.
Dr [Kustin] is dismissive of questions, concerns, doesn't build rapport. Does things his own way regardless of patient input....Dr is short-tempered and old school. Dismissed concern such as pain during transfer. I experienced pain during the first one and when I brought up how we could mitigate it the second time I was told it wouldn't hurt. And treated as though I was dumb to even ask. Insists on his methods. Yells at staff...Agonist protocol for IVF.
The rest of Des team [WA Center for Reproductive Medicine] was saving grace. Nurses, embryologist (who has since left), ultrasound tech were all delightful....Had a really hard time getting them to send my medications to my online pharmacy. Had to start cycle without getting my meds and 'borrow' from their supply. Getting final billing info was also a huge challenge. Then got more bills after the 'final' bill. Took time to resolve....About $15k for IVF retrieval and fresh transfer. Another $3k for frozen transfer. Meds not included.
