Dr. Aimee makes sure you understand what is happening every step of the way...She is very responsive in her communication. I felt like I was a person and not just a number or statistic. She made me feel at ease when I had my egg retrieval. She is 100% willing to help us achieve our dream of having a child...It's okay to ask lots of questions and voice your concerns about what your are going through. Dr. Aimee will answer any question you have.
The [Aimee Eyvazzadeh Clinic] is a little small but it seems cozy for a clinic. There is always snacks and water in the waiting room as well as wifi to connect to the internet. The waiting room chairs are comfortable, which is important when your waiting to find out how many eggs are growing...I talked with the nurses there briefly and they were kind and good bed side manners but I didn't see them as much as Dr.Aimee.

Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
For my IVF cycle, I believe the protocol was Antagonist. A couple weeks before I started the stims meds I took Omnitrope, to help with help quality. Once, I started stims, I took Menopur, Follistim and Femara to help my follicles grow. Towards the end I took Ganirelix to stop my body from ovulating to soon than for a trigger I took Pregnyl. Dr. Aimee had used a protocol similar to what I had done is the past just smaller doses because I responded well to the medications but didn't want to increase the risk of OHSS. We had used frozen sperm my husband had frozen before his testicular cancer surgery and tried to get fresh sperm the day of the retrieval. Dr. Aimee was able to rescue 26 eggs and of those 18 were mature. They were able to get 10 fertilized but none of them made it to day 3. For my IUI using donor sperm, I took Femara for 5 days, which doesn't have many side effects and Ovidrel for a trigger. Than Dr.Aimee did the IUI with donor sperm but did not result in a pregnancy. Given my age and the number children we want, we had decided to try one round of IUI with donor sperm than move on to an IVF cycle with donor sperm.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
I do not remember the exact cost but I do remember that we got a sheet that listed all the costs of each item that associated with our treatment cycle.
Describe Aimee Eyvazzadeh's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
I personally agree with single embryo transfer, because as much as I want 2 children I am terrified of having multiples at once. When I was going through my IUI I was scared that I would have have multiples.

Dr. Aimee hands down is the most amazing doctor we ever could have asked for - she literally has changed our lives forever (in the most wonderful way)...She took the time to think through every protocol I underwent from all angles, explaining her thought process and why adjustments were being made along the way. She always responded to our emails very quickly (sometimes even within a few minutes)
Wonderful team [at Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh's clinic]! Very responsive staff and everyone was very nice and professional. In my 1.5 years with Dr. Aimee, I saw her personally for every visit, except for one - that's a lot compared to most other clinics. They have a facility for regular office visits, blood draws, and IUI's. Then they use a different facility for the IVF procedures, that is only a few minutes away. Both locations are great and convenient.
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
We had been in the trying game with multiple doctors for several years, and Dr. Aimee hands down is the most amazing doctor we ever could have asked for - she literally has changed our lives forever (in the most wonderful way). We came to Dr. Aimee with a huge list of documentation outlining our long history of failed IVF/IUI cycles, miscarriage results, and other various tests. Immediately she dug deep deep into our story (this must have taken a few hours for her to read through!) and did two really important things. First she connected the dots between all my past experiences and highlighted the potential issues that may have been previously missed or not tested for. Secondly, she read past our list of procedures and let us know how much she understood how difficult this journey has been for us - that she understood that each procedure and each opportunity we have to try for a baby was precious and not something to be taken for granted. She assured us that every detail was being well thought through and everything in our plans was bespoke to our history and goals. I always thought egg retrieval protocols were pretty much copy-paste every time, but I learned from Dr. Aimee that this is not so. After reading through my previous protocols from other doctors, she prescribed HGH and was thoughtful about the amount of Menopur/Gonal F. She also was particularly careful about the timing for the trigger shot, as I had a history of ovulating before the retrievals. We eventually made two beautiful embryos. As someone with DOR, this really felt like a miracle from heaven. My previous doctors missed that I had uterine septum, which likely caused my miscarriage. Dr. Aimee noticed it during my first visit with an ultrasound and had me confirm it with a 3D ultrasound. Dr. Aimee also did an ERA test for me, which later helped us identify a uterine polyp, which causes inflammation, making implantation difficult for embryos. She set me up to get a hysteroscopy to solve both issues with another colleague. I then did an embryo transfer and the little embryo took! With Dr. Aimee, there is no such thing as unexplained infertility - this is just a call to find more facts or re-examine the pieces a little deeper. We had many painful twists and turns in our story, but by the time we did the embryo transfer, we were confident we had done every test and procedure possible for the best possible chance of success. Here we are now, ten weeks pregnant, with our first baby girl! We are just so incredibly grateful to know Dr. Aimee, for her experience, creativity, curiosity, and genuine kindness. I can't say this enough - she's just the best!
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Feel free to talk anything out with her! She explains things very clearly and always takes the time to address your questions.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
She made it a point to understand our history and our family goals. She knew egg retrievals were difficult for us and treated each embryo like it was the most precious thing in the world, which is exactly how we hoped our doctors would treat us. She took the time to think through every protocol I underwent from all angles, explaining her thought process and why adjustments were being made along the way. She always responded to our emails very quickly (sometimes even within a few minutes), regardless if it was a silly question about symptoms, big questions about medications, or even just billing. She's just the absolute best.
Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
As someone with DOR and a history of low egg quality, Dr. Aimee added HGH to my protocols, which I think played a big role in the egg maturation process. She also was very strategic in the timing of my trigger shot before the retrievals.

All very sweet and friendly. They kept a fun office environment.

If I remember correctly, Dr. Aimee's procedures do cost a bit more than the same procedures at other local clinics. She seems to be intentional in limiting how many patients she takes on, and does not run an IVF factory like how it has felt in other locations. To me, she was totally worth it.

Dr. Aimee is just naturally a caring and compassionate individual. She is personable and easy to talk to. She has a great ‘bedside’ manner. Even with a busy practice, it feels as if she takes the time to allow each patient to be heard and assured...She listened carefully to what my husband and I had to say whenever we conversed, especially when I was concerned about certain symptoms after my first egg retrieval.
I really appreciate being able to reach a live person [at Aimee Eyvazzadeh clinic] during the workday when I have questions or scheduling issues. It is easy to e-mail everyone in the office or call the front desk. The clinic is close to the freeway and there is plenty of free parking. From what I have seen there is good communication between the staff...the nursing staff quickly responded to e-mails, filled prescriptions, and efficiently took blood samples.
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee is just naturally a caring and compassionate individual. She is personable and easy to talk to. She has a great ‘bedside’ manner. Even with a busy practice, it feels as if she takes the time to allow each patient to be heard and assured. I was impressed that Dr. Aimee made it a point to stay up-to-date on all the latest advances in the field of fertility. Her broad scope of knowledge allowed her the ability see a wider range of options for approaching our infertility issues than might have occurred to a less well-informed physician. I was also appreciative of the fact that she invested in the newest and best technical equipment (ultrasound machines). The process of seeking help with fertility issues is difficult and Dr. Aimee is well aware that a bright smile and a bit of humor goes a long way toward making the process easier. It was in meeting Dr. Aimee that we first felt like we had hope.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
My advice to prospective patients would be to really stay on top of things. By that I mean take a very active role in the process and don’t sit back and wait to be told what to do next. Do the research and ask questions. Be proactive and be your own advocate. It isn’t necessary to be pushy or aggressive – just alert, interested and informed. It is your life, your money and your future – be a part of the process. From my point of view, Dr. Aimee seems to be very much on-board with this perspective. Fertility treatment is a partnership. This is an intense and expensive enterprise that requires that all involved participate and do their part. Doctor, patient, and clinic staff are all in this together in order for this to be a partnership that works. Maintaining a respectful working relationship is a must. Dr. Aimee has an efficient and very well-trained staff who are calm, courteous and inviting. Often it is necessary for the patient to contact the clinic staff to check that tests have been submitted and paperwork received. Dr. Aimee has many patients and it is possible for test results to go array – as they did in my case. Because I had a respectful relationship with the staff, the issue was immediately remediated. Trust was maintained between the clinic and the patient. Dr. Aimee encourages the open lines of communication as it helps the clinic perform the tasks needed for the fertility process to be a successful endeavor.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
1. Seeking help with a fertility issue is a very personal and often traumatic journey. The defining element in making this journey is being able to connect with a physician who is dedicated to the journey with the same intensity as the couple. For my husband and I, Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh was that doctor. Dr. Aimee genuinely cares about her patients and sincerely endeavors to assist them towards a successful outcome. I have always felt that she had reviewed my charts and was aware of my current status before an appointment. She listened carefully to what my husband and I had to say whenever we conversed, especially when I was concerned about certain symptoms after my first egg retrieval. I so very much appreciate the fact that she always responded personally to all my e-mails instead of leaving this task to her office personnel.
Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
My IVF protocol was 4 Menopur vials and 225 Gonal-F every night. HGH every other night. Cetrotide starting on days 5-12. I also took CoQ10 and prenatal vitamins. I had a good egg count for both retrievals. We now have several good quality and PGS tested embryos. When we started with Dr. Aimee we fell into the “unexplained infertility” category. We were planning on transferring after the first egg retrieval and thus went forward with a mock transfer and two tests – ERA and Receptiva DX. The Receptiva DX test results came back saying I most likely have endometriosis. After that, Dr. Aimee suggested I have another HSG test which revealed that one of my tubes was blocked which was a different result compared to my first HSG several years ago. Dr. Aimee suggested surgery instead of medications due to the blocked tube. I have since met with a surgeon who agreed with the diagnosis. Unfortunately, my surgery had to be rescheduled due to Covid-19.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
The nursing staff quickly responded to e-mails, filled prescriptions, and efficiently took blood samples. They are also wonderful human beings. When I was having difficulty scheduling an HSG test, one of the nurses called around until she was able to find a place that could see me.

Slightly above the first clinic we went to, but worth the money. Our insurance does not cover infertility treatments so it didn't matter that Dr. Aimee doesn't take insurance.

We haven’t had this conversation yet with Dr. Aimee. We are waiting until after my surgery to discuss transfer.

[Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh] took the time to look over our history had us repeat some tests that needed to be updated...if she doesn't have the answer, she will be truthful and ask for time so she can look more into it...if urgent, she will even answer via email in the middle of the night...The results weren't something either of us had hoped for, but I really felt her desire to help me every step of the way.
If they [staff at San Ramon] sense you might need a moment to compose yourself, they gave you space. Most importantly, they made efforts in remembering little details in your casual talks while trying to make you feel as comfortable as possible (sometimes while half naked!) Once I had an issue with my meds...they immediately jumped on it to ensure I got my medication for the week.
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee is amazing. She's very smart and knowledgable and you can really get a sense of her passion and wanting to help you achieve your goals. She'll take the time to listen to you and address any concerns you might have AND give you time to think things over if she senses its something you are not comfortable with. Ultimately if you aren't fully committed, she will go back to the drawing board with you and come up with something else. If she doesn't have the answer, she will be truthful and ask for time so she can look more into it. Some people might be put off by her being direct but it's a plus to me--she will not sugar coat things. If there is not enough time during your appointment (rarely happens) but she will follow up later via phone or email. I have had times I don't quite comprehend, so walk out of my appointment confused--the fertility journey is very overwhelming and can be clouded with so much information. Those instances, I'd email her 20 questions she will answer ALL of them. Too much to email? She will ask if she can call to make it easier. One way or another she answers your questions, and if urgent, she will even answer via email in the middle of the night. During some of my toughest moments she has really been amazing, encouraging, and truthful. The results weren't something either of us had hoped for, but I really felt her desire to help me every step of the way.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Hear her out, and most importantly voice your opinion if it doesn't feel right. Express any and all of your concerns and she will help you understand better. Even if you feel she isn't listening to you, tell her that. She really is someone who is willing to listen and not force her treatment plans on you. You can't expect her to guess what you are thinking--just like all doctors she's seeing many patients every day 7 days a week! There is no such thing as a one size fits all protocol for her and I couldn't agree more! She communicates by email a lot so if this isn't your style it might take getting some used to. I personally loved it because I was always able to reach her--only exception is when she's in the middle of a procedure. Not everyone will connect with each other the same way, and it is okay to walk away if it doesn't feel right.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
I was no nervous contacting Dr. Aimee, but even through my first connection via email, she personally responded and answered all my questions. Coming into the office from another clinic I thought I knew the process. Don't get me wrong, I loved my first clinic and only moved on because my RE there no longer did IVF. In the last few years I practically lived at clinics or hospitals so thought I knew the drill. Then I come to Dr. Aimee's office and am still shocked at how well everything is well managed. And by the time I left my first visit, the nurses, front desk, everyone I came into contact with knew me by name. Anytime I had a question via phone, email, or in person--if that person didn't know the answer they would find someone who did. If they couldn't get it to me right away, they would check and let me know. Only a handful of times I'd have to remind them, but they immediately apologized for the delay. On one occasion, the billing person seemed kind of bothered by a question I had, but she followed up with an email with my request, and also apologized for being so abrupt that morning because she was slammed and just had a long day in general. They must get the same questions day in and day out, but don't make you feel like any question is too silly and genuinely want to help.
Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
I don't remember my overall strategies as my last few years have kind of blurred together. This journey has been so rough on us, and we took a much needed break since our ectopic July 2019 because we couldn't handle it emotionally, physically, and financially. When we came to Dr. Aimee, we had miscarried twins at 10 weeks, and gone through 2 rounds of clomid and 8 rounds of IUI's. She took the time to look over our history had us repeat some tests that needed to be updated. Then she felt she wanted to try IUI's first. we told her our concern that we didn't mind trying IUI but we were financially strapped. We didn't want to continue waste $ on IUI's. She suggested trying a few first so she can see how my body responds but if we were truly over doing IUI's she would understand. However, if it was due to finances, she really wanted us to try. She would help us out by applying our IUI costs to our IVF cycle if we had to move on to IVF. Onto trying IUIs and to save even more money , we adjusted my cycle to use leftover medication I had from previous rounds. After 3 IUI's, each cycle showed at least 2-3 viable follicles but no pregnancy, we moved onto IVF. My first cycle, was cancelled because after 10 days of injections my body just wasn't responding as she had hoped. It was a strange because i responded much better during my IUI cycles. Then come just one month after my cancelled cycle, I hit some health problems that might be my body rejecting and not responding to my first IVF cycle. After discussing back and forth with Dr. Aimee we both reached a consensus that I should take a break to really let me body heal. After almost 8 months, I was able to go back and give IVF another shot. From my email my protocol was: gonal F/menopur/cetrotide/hch. We took this approach to try to get as many follicles as possible with increased egg quality. We saw about 15 follicles, retrieved 8 mature eggs, 4 fertilized (ICIS), 2 made it to blast, but just 1normal PGS. My husband's male factor fertility was never a concern--he produced healthy numbers EVERY IUI (we had success but miscarried with IUI), and based on 2 sperm analysis by 2 different clinics everything came out normal. Through this cycle we were hit with the realization that there were binding issues. We were devastated. Dr. Aimee assured us she still had a lot of confidence and we would move forward after doing an ERA. This will help her get as close as possible to the correct time and placement since we only have 1 shot with 5AB blast. Transfer day came and gone, and then the dreaded wait. We were cautiously pregnant after our first beta, then came the subsequent betas that showed it doubling, then it didn't... then exactly as she suspected based off of that one beta test--it was an ectopic. We were devastated! Another loss and such a huge hit financially, physically and emotionally. This is the first time I've recalled this memory since our loss June 1, 2019. It was so painful but Dr. Aimee stayed with us until we needed a break. She truly has been amazing through all of this and didn't just leave us when we decided we couldn't afford to go on emotionally and financially.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Aimee Eyvazzadeh. (Assigned nurse: Raechelle)
Raechelle and the entire team were just as great as Dr. Aimee. Very attentive and helpful. They were some of the sweetest people I have met. They take time to listen to you, make the effort to help you as much as possible. Ask them a question and they try to find the answer--even if you've asked the exact same question after every visit. If they sense you might need a moment to compose yourself, they gave you space. Most importantly, they made efforts in remembering little details in your casual talks while trying to make you feel as comfortable as possible (sometimes while half naked!) Once I had an issue with my meds (pharmacy issue not Dr. Aimee's office) because the pharmacy misread the order, Dr. Aimee's team really went above and beyond. It was over thanksgiving break and they were also on "holiday". However, I send one email to Dr. Aimee, Raechelle and another nurse, Megan, and they immediately jumped on it to ensure I got my medication for the week. This was 6pm in the even before the Thanksgiving holiday break and Pharmacy was closing at 7pm. I cannot stress how important it was to have their tenacity and desire to help their patients.
Describe your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
From the beginning of my visits to the end, there was always a hello and a goodbye. If things were delayed, they will immediately let you know. Things didn't feel rushed or unorganized--appointments were 90% on time and other 10% no more than 5 minutes late. There have been maybe 3 or 4 mixups of billing but each time, they made great efforts to fix it. I cannot tell you how appreciated that is when you already have so much on your plate. I truly did not have many hard lingering issues and when I did, it was immediately addressed. When we came across a billing discrepancy. I would show them my proof or email communication and I was never bothered by the same issue again. Lily who was one of the billing coordinators would also follow up with an email and phone call and apologize for the mistake. Great clinic, but one thing they can change is not to leave too much of the Lindt candies out at the front desk--very easy to grab a handful and stress eat!
Describe the costs associated with your care under Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
For one cycle of IVF (with ICIS and PGS testing) $23,120--this did not include embryo storage fees or medications. Their fee schedule is very detailed and straight forward. There were no hidden costs. If another procedure was suggested, all fees associated with that said procedure would be discussed and agreed on before hand.

I did do a Counsyl carrier screen [with Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh] just to make sure my husband and I didn't have any other issues that might be an issue in us getting pregnant...I was immediately impressed with how comforting and optimistic Dr Aimee was. She also laid out what our odds were and what we could do to help ourselves overcome some of them with diet, supplements and acupuncture. She was incredibly encouraging and hopeful and that's all I wanted in my Dr. I already knew the odds were not in my favor but still wanted to work with a Dr that would share my hope and help me in any way they could.
They [nursing staff at Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh's office] were very responsive to my questions about medication or the upcoming procedure via phone and email. I felt very well taken care of and supported by the nursing staff which I really appreciated...For my IVF process the cost of treatment was: $21,450.00 Medication was approximately ~$2,600.00 -$3,000.00 The cost of an IUI was $1,200.00...was incredibly well run and efficient to work with. I knew exactly what was expected from me in terms of documents that needed to be signed, medical records that needed to be transferred from other medical offices, and the financial responsibility and payment options available. Communication via phone and email was always great. I was always well informed about all my appointments and the results of my blood work. I felt very well taken care of during my time as a patient by the entire office.
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr Aimee was incredibly supportive and communicative throughout our time under her care. I was very surprised that she even took it upon herself to draw my blood during the course of my treatment. She was always very forthcoming and available to answer questions and assuage any of my concerns or fears. She was exactly the Dr I needed after my first experience working with another fertility clinic. I can't say enough about Dr Aimee's positivity throughout both my IUI and IVF cycles. Even though both procedures had disappointing outcomes, I still walked away feeling hopeful that it could still happen. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to have been a patient of Dr Aimee.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
I think it's important to be honest with yourself and know exactly what you want and what you're capable of during fertility treatment. I knew that I only wanted to attempt IVF using my own eggs and Dr Aimee was respectful of my choice and was behind me and my eggs all the way and that meant everything to me. All I wanted was to have a Dr support my decision and do everything they could with what resources they had to make that a possibility and to believe in my choice. Dr Aimee still discussed alternative treatment options but also stated we could go back and revisit those options if and when I would be ready. You have to be your own biggest advocate and hope that your Dr will also stand behind your decision and also be a part of your team. Dr Aimee is all about getting behind what the patient feels is right for them and completely go full speed ahead and attempt to make that happen!
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
I was referred to Dr. Aimee after my first experience with a fertility clinic left me feeling like another number getting pushed through the fertility factory. Her reputation was that of someone that would really listen to you and help guide you through this complex fertility treatment process. I was immediately impressed with how comforting and optimistic Dr Aimee was. Dr Aimee was incredibly attentive and was always available to answer my questions via calls and emails (usually within an hour or two). I appreciated working with a Dr that didn't immediately think that the only way I would be able to conceive was by using donor eggs only. I had a great supportive and positive experience under her care.

I was traveling a bit during this time and they were very accommodating when I needed to change pharmacy locations to pick up my medications. They were very responsive to my questions about medication or the upcoming procedure via phone and email. I felt very well taken care of and supported by the nursing staff which I really appreciated.

Describe Aimee Eyvazzadeh's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
Dr Aimee relayed the pros and cons for both single embryo transfer vs multiple embryo transfer. Ultimately, it was my decision knowing all the risks involved and I asked to transfer two embryos. There was one embryo that was graded at a lower quality than the other two and Dr Aimee suggested that I consider transferring all 3 embryos and see where that got us. I was receptive to the idea and we transferred all 3 Day 3 fresh embryos.

Dr. Aimee is the gold standard of bedside manners. She takes as much time for you as you need for questions and concerns, fears and anxieties. She works with you for solutions that work for you and your lifestyle and never discourages what you think is right for you. She is open-minded but also very realistic and practical with her approach and protocols...Take advantage of the breadth of knowledge and resources Dr. Aimee has and never be intimidated to ask her questions. She always responds!
The [Aimee Eyvazzadeh] clinic is clean and lots of available parking. Unfortunately it's not central to public transportation so you need a car to get there. I believe retrievals are done in a neighboring hospital facility (not in clinic)...The nursing staff are all responsive by email as well and get back to you right away during business hours. How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee is the most responsive and accessible physician I have ever met. She responds pretty much within 12 hours (usually within a couple) by email. She makes sure your concerns are heard and takes time to find ways to address them. The amount of emails of questions I have sent her and her responsiveness is just priceless for us in the digital age. For procedures that I was scared of, she was comforting and reassuring. Although I didn't get IVF with Dr. Aimee due to finances, I highly recommend her to anyone who can afford it.

We did two medicated IUIs before proceeding to IVF. They included letrozole for 5 days and then hcg trigger shot. Dr. Aimee always makes time to accommodate your cycle treatment, even on weekends. And it's always her who does it - she does not give her work to any other colleague. Unfortunately the IUIs didn't work which is common for my age (b/w 38-40)

How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee was candid, clear, and concise but gentle and provided information on all the possible options that would be best for me, given my age. She made me aware of the possibilities. I should’ve taken it before transferring my first embryos.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Do not feel any guilt about asking any questions or emailing Aimee directly because she will always respond within less than 24 hours. This is something that is very rare for a doctor to get back to you directly and I appreciate her for that.

If you are looking to get quality fertility treatment, she is the best. Dr. Aimee will study your case, spend as much time as needed with you, will revisit your case as often as needed, and text you back (answering yet another late-night question) at all hours -- her strength is in the ability to stay close to the patient and know the patient; she is the one who does it all, i.e., the vast majority of the monitoring appoints, she is the one who draws your blood, and she is the one who does ALL of your procedures. She listens and responds, modifies when needed, and corrects when things do not go as planned.
Dr. Aimee manages ALL patient care -- this is critical to her success and puts patients at ease. The staff at the clinic is pleasant to work with and very responsive. She listens and responds, modifies when needed, and corrects when things do not go as planned. Dr. Aimee was our fourth and last doctor, she did my retrival at 44 (got 26 oocytes first round and 19 second -- the best result out of the four physicians) and I am almost 20 weeks due to give birth at 45 -- we asked and she delivered, we inquired and she listened, but most of all she paid attention and provided personalized care that was unmatched.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Be forthcoming with medical issues and other concerns -- Dr. Aimee sees it all -- the more she knows, the better she'll be able to address your fertility needs. This said, however, remember she is not a magician, just a very knowledgeable, intuitive, third-generation gynecologist/fertility specialist, so sometimes it will take a couple of tries -- my first fresh transfer failed, but we regrouped, learned from it, then did a mock, and tried again.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
My husband is a physician, and what I learned over the years is that a good physician is attentive and thorough. Dr. Aimee was the fourth Dr. I saw, and she is the best clinician by far; she is attentive, thorough, knowledgable, and (importantly) takes her time to tailor treatment to one's case (unlike others who have their specific prototype of a protocol for all without much thought) -- to this end, the other physicians in Sacramento and Bay Area who treated me do not even come close, they're simply not in Dr. Aimee's league.
Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
Dr. Aimee's protocol differed from others (she was our fourth fertility specialist). Since I was 44, when under her care, she tried it all with me to ensure successful outcomes, including ovarian and uterine PRP. We succeeded in the end, with my oocytes retrieved at 44.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
About $20,000 for retrievals (without testing, we elected not to test), roughly $5,000-6,000 for a mock transfer cycle (including all the tests), and approximately $9,000 for a transfer cycle.
Describe Aimee Eyvazzadeh's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
I was 44 at transfer and I did not test my embryos, so Dr. Aimee and I decided to transfer multiple blastocysts, one stuck.

Dr. Aimee makes me smile when I think of her. She is kind, compassionate, funny, and above all, so caring. Within the first 2 minutes of meeting her on a virtual consultation, I know I wanted to work with her, and her only. I was nervous to start the process of egg freezing and she made me feel brave and excited about the process. I would work with her ten times over again! Every time I came into the office, I thought WOW, she has the best bedside manner I have ever seen, and it became like a second home coming in for my multiple appointments. Not only is she an amazing communicator, you have her direct line to talk with her every night of your injections.
The clinic [Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh] was very easy to get to, ample parking, and nice waiting room. You are greeted every time you walk in, and there is nice music and also, SNACKS. They have delicious truffles, power bars, and water. Very nice touches to make you feel comfy ahead of the visit, or grab a snack on the way out. The staff emails back fast, always answers the phone during open hours, and has an after hours line to leave messages.

Dr. Aimee laid out the plan clearly. I learned all about the meds in office, and was put on HGH ahead of time, as well as special vitamins that she recommended. The plan was very clear and if I had any questions, I had numerous ways to reach out to her. Dr. Aimee wanted to start right away, and off we went!

How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. As a transgender man I was nervous to undergo the egg retrieval process and after going through it the first time with Dr. Aimee I gladly did it a second time without an ounce of worry or nervousness. Dr. Aimee made sure that everyone on her team knew my pronouns (he/him/his) and she and her team (this includes the team she worked with at Pacific Fertility Center) have correctly gendered me every single time I have ever met with them. She also right off the bat suggested we do abdominal ultrasounds rather than vaginal ones which was huge for me as a trans man as I am not sure if I could have made it through vaginal ultrasounds without an anxiety attack. On top of all this Dr. Aimee is warm, funny, relaxed, charming and over the top knowledgeable. Her warmth and positive outlook is contagious and made trips to see her fun and relaxed. She also went out of her way to help make sure that my daily shots were pain free by giving me expert instructions and even facetiming me while I gave myself my shots for added encouragement and real time coaching. At the Pacific Fertility Center for the egg retrieval procedure Dr. Aimee allowed me to wear my pajamas all the way into the procedure room, which was huge because I have a pretty intense fear of being naked. This allowed me to stay relaxed and feel safe every step of the way. Many trans men have told me about rough fertility experiences with other doctors and I really wish that they had known about and been able to work with Dr. Aimee. Because of her kindness and care the egg retrieval process was a truly great experience for me. I give her my highest recommendation and encourage other trans men to work with her as well.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
I would listen to the interview she did on her podcast, The Eggwhisperer Show, with Rick Zentler. It is episode 374. You can hear the care and respect in Dr. Aimee's voice and really get the feel for how important it is to her to treat her transgender and all LGBTQI+ patients with the best and most affirming care. This episode is great because she interviews Rick, who is a transgender man, about his experience going through egg retrieval. For me, as a transgender man, this episode put me at ease and gave me the encouragement I needed to trust Dr. Aimee and go for the egg retrieval procedure.

How competent was Aimee Eyvazzadeh at LGBTQ+ care?
Describe your experience using 3rd party reproduction (donor eggs, donor sperm, or gestational carrier) at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
WOW. My experience was great. Dr. Aimee's team communicated clearly and efficiently with the California Cryobank and all of the donor sperm arrived on time and ready to go.

Dr. Aimee is great, knowledgeable and compassionate. She gives are all for her patients. Her initial consultation fee might sound too expensive, but she more than makes up for it through her subsequent constant support answering any questions through email at any time and follow-up appointments...had lots of questions about the process and she walked me through each and every stage and made me comfortable for embryo transfer
I did frozen embryo transfer [at Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh's office], which costed around 8600$...The staff are very friendly and helpful, the clinic itself is calm...Her staff are also amazing and helpful! I always felt so comfortable in the office and the appointments were mostly on-time. Any reschedule due to emergency was communicated on time. The care is 100%
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee is an amazing doctor with great care for her patient. She is the most caring, committed, knowledgeable, & helpful fertility doctor one could ask for. She gives her total time and devotion to her patients & she always made me feel that she’s serving with every bit of her heart & soul. With her help, I am currently 2 months pregnant. I have had an wonderful experience with her and would highly recommend her to everyone.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Finding a good infertility doctor is not that easy. It involves spending valuable time and money and comes with lots of anxiety and uncertainty. The two most important things are the outcome and getting support when needed. I was a Kaiser patient before and suffered a lot. The doctors there didn’t seem to care about me, they only considered me as a number. Dr. Aimee is the opposite. Along with her great knowledge and expertise, she has great compassion and care.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee always goes above and beyond. From the initial consultation to my pregnancy, she supported me for every single thing. As a fertility patient, I had lots of questions about the process and she walked me through each and every stage and made me comfortable for embryo transfer. One of the biggest advantages of Dr. Aimee is that she is open for communication with her patients at any time. I don’t know how she does it, but she would always respond to any email immediately, be it early morning/late night/weekend. Some other amazing examples in my case were: offering to help with my shots at 10pm at her house, calling me at 11pm to reassure me after i saw early pregnancy bleeding, offering to do emergency ultrasound in her office at 6:30am before her other procedures in PFC. So definitely she treated me as a human, a companion or family.
Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
Dr Aimee offered me a personalized care plan. When I first saw her after transferring from Kaiser, she immediately told me to remove a big cluster of cysts from my left ovary. She referred me to the best surgeon and the cysts were successfully removed. Then according to Dr Aimee’s suggestions, I had natural modified FET cycle. She recommended necessary medications based on my history to be successful with the PGT tested embryo transfer. She suggested low dose Femera to grow multiple eggs to enhance progesterone supply later on in early pregnancy (her target was 2, i grew 3 eggs). She suggested Medrol and also Lovenox shots. Her protocol seemed very personalized and effective
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
Dr. Aimee is by far my most favorite doctor, no comparison. Her staff are also amazing and helpful! I always felt so comfortable in the office and the appointments were mostly on-time. Any reschedule due to emergency was communicated on time. The care is 100%

I only wanted single embryo transfer, never discussed multiple embryo transfer at any point.

I am a remote patient consulting in from NZ...As I have low AMH (around 0.7) Dr Aimee put me on her 'mini IVF' plan...I emailed [her] email address and expected a receptionist would get back to me..Literally within minutes Dr Aimee herself got back to me! We went back and forth on email for an hour discussing my case and I was blown away...Dr Aimee has actually discussed the possibility of transferring 2 PGS embryos in my situation (2x failed PGS SET at 35 and under).
I have had minimal interaction with the [Eyvazzadeh] nursing staff as I'm a remote patient but they've always been very organised...My consults were I believe around $350 US for the initial consult..and then $110 US for follow ups...Dr Aimee had also recommended HGH but this was hard to procure in NZ so I went without. Our resulting 4 embryos are currently being PGS tested..
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Mine is an unusual situation as I sought out Dr Aimee, during COVID from New Zealand. I had seen Dr Aimee a lot on social media and thought she was the exactly the type of doctor I'd like to see- she did not disappoint. To be honest- I am a little bit obsessed with Dr Aimee! The first time I got in contact with Dr Aimee, I'd had a chemical pregnancy after a long build up to my second transfer. I emailed Dr Aimee's email address and expected a receptionist would get back to me within 24-48 hours (this was also a Friday morning in California). Literally within minutes Dr Aimee herself got back to me! We went back and forth on email for an hour discussing my case and I was blown away. I had never received close to treatment like this with my doctors in NZ. I quickly made an appointment and when I saw Dr Aimee she knew my case back to front and dispelled a number of false, demoralising truths I'd been told by my NZ doctors again. For the first time in a long time, I had hope again. From this point, I had another unsuccessful transfer (which Dr Aimee had prepped me for as a possibility). At this point I consulted with her again for a recommendation on an IVF protocol that I could implement in NZ. She suggested a low dose stim protocol which I admit I was quite nervous about. I responded with 6 follicles on the one ovary and again was nervous! However all follicles were tracking at the same size and I retrieved 6 eggs and 4 high graded day 5 embryos from 6 eggs! I found out on my 36th birthday and emailed Dr Aimee and she (of course) emailed back straight away. If you are struggling with your current doctors, if you need an empathetic, innovative and realistic doctor- do not hesitate to see Dr Aimee. I just wished I could see her for all my treatment in California.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
You are in the best hands possible.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr Aimee is truly incredible, I cannot say enough good things about her. Chief amongst this that she relates to you as to how she imagine she does her family. She's warm but firm, realistic and extremely caring.
Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
As I have low AMH (around 0.7) Dr Aimee put me on her 'mini IVF' plan. From Days 1-4 (approx) I took 10mg of Letrozole and started stims (300 IUI) Menopur on day 3. I also had a baseline scan that day, followed up by another one on Day 7. Dr Aimee had also recommended HGH but this was hard to procure in NZ so I went without. Our resulting 4 embryos are currently being PGS tested.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
I have had minimal interaction with the nursing staff as I'm a remote patient but they've always been very organised which is impressive compared to my clinic in NZ.

My consults were I believe around $350 US for the initial consult (not 100% on that one, it was expensive) and then $110 US for follow ups. Please note Dr Aimee goes above and beyond outside these appointments- I have asked her many random questions via email and she ALWAYS gets back to me, no charge. I consider her excellent value.

[Aimee Eyvazzadeh Clinic] is a one woman show. You do not have to wait long to be seen and Dr. Amiee even does the blood draws...one of the more expensive IVF doctors working...does not optimize your chances...$28K for cycle with PGS testing and ICSI
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Overhyped, overpriced and under delivers. Dr. Amiee comes across as "The Egg Whisperer" –some magician who knows how to speak to your eggs to make them into magical fertile embryos. In actuality, she is thirsty, thirsty, thirsty for recognition and spends the majority of her time on her YouTube channel, Instagram, and social media seemingly "advocating" for women instead of putting energy and thought into her patients IVF cycles. In reality, she is a sub-par IVF doctor who needs to concentrate on doctoring rather than marketing. She receives fairly good reviews due to her bubbly, warm nature ... but not because of success. Those who are successful with her got the lucky breaks. The reason she interviews so many fellow IVF doctors is because she is literally learning "on the job". She gets away with being a sub-par IVF doctor because when you are in a fearful space with infertility, someone who is warm and fuzzy and cheerleader-like positive feels incredible. The problem is, she is one of the more expensive IVF doctors working and her lack of expertise does match her price, or her hype! She puts the onus of your IVF journey on the patient and is not a good leader. She also makes mistakes in her practice that cost patients valuable months to years. I do not recommend her and she has lied to my face about multiple medical/IVF mistakes. She will not take responsibility for any mistake made on her part and will instead gaslight you into believing you are crazy. And when you call her out on her mistakes the super sweet phony act she puts on completely disappears .. her voice changes and you see the real "Dr. Amiee" and it is not pretty. Before I realized she was such a bad IVF doctor I recommended her to countless people. The feedback I have received back from my recommendations has matched my own disappointment with her services. All have left her practice within one cycle or less. Stay away, save your money. There are much better IVF doctors in the Bay Area and in the United States whom are way more cutting-edge, pioneering, and know proper procedures, and how to optimize cycles –not to mention all are waaaay less expensive than Dr. Amiee.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Stay away, there are more honest, way more economical and substantially wiser and more experienced IVF doctors in the Bay Area and beyond. When she makes mistakes she will become nasty –the sweet facade crumbles.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
She is fake nice so she pretends to be caring and lovey dovey but in the end she is a liar and cold-hearted.
Describe your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
This is a one woman show. You do not have to wait long to be seen and Dr. Amiee even does the blood draws. That seems like such a nice, personal touch. But when you begin to work with IVF experts who know what they are doing, you realize what a waste of time it is on her part. Other doctors spend their time working to optimize your cycle, Dr. Amiee prefers to slap on bandaids and chit chat.

We had a video conference due to COVID-19 and she [Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh] was able to make me comfortable feeling like we were in the same room...Her analysis of your lab work is thorough and she takes time to talk to you about things that other Doctors may breeze over...does not have her own lab, so you would see her at her office for monitoring appointments but if doing a IVF procedure you'd have to go to one of the labs that she has contracted with for retrieval, transfer, etc.
I did a virtual consult w/ Dr. Aimee, meaning I sent my records over from another clinic for a second opinion. I believe a nurse scheduled the appointment and collected the paperwork from my previous clinic but my interactions were limited with the nurse so far. When I went in for blood work Dr. Aimee did it, not the nurse...$675 for new patient consult, $30 blood work.
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee is an expert in the fertility world, if you are struggling or just want a second opinion I definitely recommend having a conversation with her. Her analysis of your lab work is thorough and she takes time to talk to you about things that other Doctors may breeze over.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Come prepared with questions, but realize she may answer those for you in conversation before you ask.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
I had heard amazing things about Dr. Aimee but it took me awhile to schedule an appointment since she doesn't take insurance and the initial consult was pretty pricy. However, I am so incredibly glad I did. We had a video conference due to COVID-19 and she was able to make me comfortable feeling like we were in the same room. Since then, I have become pregnant and Dr. Aimee has supported me in the transition to an OBGYN.
Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
I am having a HSG done (my first clinic didn't order that for me prior to IUI & IVF), then I am doing a timed intercourse (Letrozole) w/ HSG per Dr. Aimee's recommendation and my desires.

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Dr. Aimee was very thorough in her review of my profile and previous tests...She followed-up our appointment with an email summarizing next steps and what to expect, even laying out our action plan on a calendar...appointments to run additional testing (i.e. draw blood) and was surprised that Dr. Aimee was the one to administer this...can almost be *too quick* to respond and miss a few points that was mentioned in a previous email or not be as clear as intended...I would check out her podcast "Egg Whisperer" as this helped me really prep for what to expect
[Aimee Eyvazzadeh clinic] is private, so the level of "customer service" is above par...I actually got someone on the phone when I was interested in potentially becoming a patient, then had a follow-up call with someone at her office that detailed what that the consultation process looked like...Consultation ~$700...I didn't have the opportunity to work with the nursing staff as much
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
During the initial consult, Dr. Aimee was very thorough in her review of my profile and previous tests, as she was the 2nd doctor we visited for fertility issues. As she weaponized us with all the information, she was able to put her "friend" hat on and help guide us with our decision making, as fertility options and understanding the "right next step" can be overwhelming. She followed-up our appointment with an email summarizing next steps and what to expect, even laying out our action plan on a calendar, so that we were all aligned. I had a few follow-up appointments to run additional testing (i.e. draw blood) and was surprised that Dr. Aimee was the one to administer this. There were a few hiccups in our action plan due to mother nature and COVID-19 and Dr. Aimee remained in constant communication (phone/email). As mentioned in other reviews, Dr. Aimee is incredibly quick to respond via email. My only gripe is that Dr. Aimee can almost be *too quick* to respond and miss a few points that was mentioned in a previous email or not be as clear as intended. I found myself re-reading some emails multiple times to make sure I understood/was on the same page. I will note that any time I needed additional clarification, Dr. Aimee was extremely patient and understanding to walk me through scenarios again.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee is amazing and passionate about at what she does. I would check out her podcast "Egg Whisperer" as this helped me really prep for what to expect during my journey.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Upon first contact with Dr. Aimee's team there was already a difference. I actually got someone on the phone when I was interested in potentially becoming a patient, then had a follow-up call with someone at her office that detailed what that the consultation process looked like. During our consultation, Dr. Aimee took the time to go through everything. She practically answered all the questions we had listed in preparation to ensure we received all the information necessary.
Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
I have a low AMH (0.37), 33 years-old, and looking to start our family. We decided that the best course of action was IVF. I was going to start Omnitrope (2x/week) and Progesterone (after ovulation) but due to COVID-19, I decided to pause given the unknown of everything.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
I didn't have the opportunity to work with the nursing staff as much, so my experience is surface level at best. Overall, staff has been just as compassionate and responsive as Dr. Aimee
Describe your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
Dr. Aimee's practice is private, so the level of "customer service" is above par. Dr. Aimee herself is a gem and her incredibly high standards are seen throughout her staff and office. I also believe that Dr. Aimee does her best at staying well-informed on the latest procedures/studies.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
Consultation ~$700 (don't recall the exact price). Medications thus far have been covered by insurance.

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Dr Aimee [Eyvazzadeh] is so smart but she is able to explain complex medical things so that you can understand them, she also has incredible empathy for her patients...was the first person to address that I likely had endometriosis...has improved my quality of life...reviewed my prior HSG films and concluded that there was something wrong with one of my tubes despite radiologists and other REs saying it was ok - this was confirmed via surgery. She is honest and wants what is best for her patients. She told me it was better not to transfer my frozen embryos if I didn't have to and researched via her contacts, which Dr at my current clinic would be a better match for me. She is up to date on the latest research and passionate about infertility education. I joke with my husband that Dr. Aimee is
I never physically went to the clinic [at Aimee Eyvazzadeh - San Ramon]. We did our consultation remotely...fly to the bay area for surgery but this was performed in a nearby hospital. Staff helped me coordinate appointments etc but most of my interaction was directly with Dr. Aimee...I knew i had polyps that needed to be removed so Dr Aimee performed surgery for this and coordinated an ERA test and ReceptivaDx test for the same time. She created a protocol for a frozen embryo transfer that my clinic in Los Angeles was able to follow and we had our first ever implantation. We ended up losing the pregnancy for other reasons but getting further than we even had before was a major step!
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
I booked a record review with Dr Aimee at a time when I had put treatments on hold because i knew i had health issues and was scared to do another transfer and have it fail again. She gave me direction when I was directionless and her consult was the best money we had spent on our fertility journey. I had been to so many doctors trying to get answers and Dr Aimee was the first person to address that I likely had endometriosis. She also reviewed my prior HSG films and concluded that there was something wrong with one of my tubes despite radiologists and other REs saying it was ok - this was confirmed via surgery. Aimee is superhuman, I have sent her so many emails and she is lightening fast at replying.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Do not hesitate - go and see her! Even if you don't live near her, get a record review because she believes that there is no such thing as unexplained infertility just that it hasn't been explored thoroughly enough. I am still on my fertility journey but just having my diagnosis and treating it has improved my quality of life which i will be forever thankful for.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr Aimee is so smart but she is able to explain complex medical things so that you can understand them, she also has incredible empathy for her patients. Her first question in our consult was what I thought was preventing me from getting pregnant - this was so refreshing as I had felt that previous doctors had ignored how I was feeling in my body (even when i tried to tell them) and missed a crucial diagnosis as a result.

She created a protocol for a frozen embryo transfer that my clinic in Los Angeles was able to follow and we had our first ever implantation. We ended up losing the pregnancy for other reasons but getting further than we even had before was a major step!
Describe your experience with your nurse at Aimee Eyvazzadeh. (Assigned nurse: I only saw Dr Aimee )
I only ever saw Dr Aimee during our treatment.
Describe your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
I never physically went to the clinic. We did our consultation remotely. We did fly to the bay area for surgery but this was performed in a nearby hospital. Staff helped me coordinate appointments etc but most of my interaction was directly with Dr. Aimee.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
My surgery was covered by insurance after deductibles. Testing prices were standard. The consult was on the more expensive side but worth every penny because of how thoroughly she reviews your records.
Describe Aimee Eyvazzadeh's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
We had a euploid embryo available so she recommended transferring one.

While I have not yet completed full treatments with her just yet, I have no doubt she would put every effort into doing everything she could to bring success.

[Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh's] responsiveness is one of the main reasons we selected her for our IVF journey. She was willing to review my husband labs and have multiple conversations with us via email, without even being a patient. This speaks volumes because she genuinely cares about your situation, when other IVF clinics wouldn't even talk to us without being a patient...She explains everything in detail and is accommodating to your situation. She has a warm personally and makes you feel comfortable during this journey. My only gripe is that she's above average in price but I rather pay for that 1:1 attention to detail then feel like another number at another clinic. She did recently mistake me for another client which made me feel a little uneasy but she's human and entitled to mistakes, just as long as she doesn't do that in the operating room! lol.

I get emails from 3/4 different people and really don't know who to go for, for what. My only suggestion would be to maybe send a email with the whole staff directing me on who I should speak to for what, this would be extremely helpful. Other than that they're all very nice and responsive.

Dr.Aimee [Eyvazzadeh] goes above and beyond with her patients. First, she gives you her personal cell phone number to call or text her when you when questions. She also takes the time to explain everything and answer all your questions every step of the way. She was also the only doctor that actually listened to me about what I thought we should try.
Dr.Aimee does all her own appointments but the nurses will room you and take your vitals prior to her coming in...You visit the clinic for ultrasounds, monitoring appointments, and bloodwork. The procedures are done at RSC which is around the corner. The rooms are clean and she has such high-quality ultrasound machines in all the rooms. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
On the night of our D&C (first clinic), my husband emailed Dr.Aimee basically as an SOS because we were at our lowest point. We had actually worked with Dr.Aimee prior, doing timed intercourse and IUI. After 4 years of going through rounds of treatment, we lost our baby at 7 weeks. She emailed back right away and we sent her all our records. She had a consult with us, I honestly think it was within a week. She explained to us what she would do differently and what she thinks went wrong. We took a 3-month break after our miscarriage and then jumped into round 2 of IVF but this time with her. Hindsight is always 20/20 but if I could go back in time, I would have started IVF with her regardless of the money. My second round of IVF was the smoothest, least stressful out of the whole journey. My first round had so much unneeded stress just waiting by the phone constantly since I would be seen by the nurses but had to wait for the doctor to call me with med updates. Whereas the 2nd round Dr.Aimee did ALL my appointments and when I left her office, I knew exactly where we stood. I also knew what meds to take and the dosages, which helped a lot. She also monitored me almost every day so that I didn’t overstimulate as I did with my first clinic in the first round. For my appointments, I was in and out. Dr.Aimee is a well-oiled machine and totally gets your time is valuable. There was even one day where she came in at 6:30 am just to do my monitoring appointment because I couldn't do it later in the day due to meetings. She really does work with you. She also unlike any other doctor listened to me, and if she thought something didn’t make sense for me she explained why instead of just saying no. I even had a question about my trigger shot, called her directly at 7 pm and she happily walked me through the whole thing. She really cares and has such a hands-on approach, I can’t say enough good things about her! The lab at RSC is Incredible and the egg retrieval was done by Dr. Aimee (imagine a world). I expected once we got pregnant, that would stop but it didn’t. She let me come in every few weeks to check on the baby until we graduated at 11 weeks because my anxiety was so high, pregnancy after loss brings all its own worries. I have no idea how she does it but I am so glad she does. She really is a superwoman and such a huge blessing to this community. I have lots of friends from my support group who have also had success with her. The main reason, we went with her for the second round is they kept telling me she is well worth the money, and I 100% agree with that. Thank you, Dr.Aimee, for helping make our dreams come true. We are currently 16 weeks pregnant with a beautiful baby girl! We can never thank her enough!
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
She is 100000000% worth the money!

We talked about transferring two embryos and all the risks associated with that. Ultimately, we ended up transferring just one embryo since they were graded a 5AB.

For religious reasons, we were ready to explore only certain treatments (no IVF). Dr. Aimee listened to us, preparing a treatment plan that would make the most of our options. Not once we have felt uncomfortable...She was involved at every step of the process (she even took the time to draw some blood for the routine tests, and let me tell you, it was the quickest and swiftest blood draw I have ever experienced
It is a small clinic, which is great, as the interactions feel very personal and humane. The equipment and facilities are new and well managed. The scheduling of appointments is extremely flexible, and both nurses and Dr. Aimee respond to emails promptly (even at late hours and in the weekends)...The IUI cycles were approximately $1300 each. Ultrasounds $100-$350 (before and during pregnancy). Blood tests and the cost of medication was low (depending also on insurance coverage).
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Dr. Aimee is an exceptional doctor, my husband and I cannot express enough our gratitude for her help in our journey through infertility. She didn’t only treat my infertility and allowed me to have a successful pregnancy, but she made the infertility journey with her funny and hopeful. In the past two years and half, my husband and I have sought the advice of many infertility specialists and clinics in Boston MA. Despite their credentials and good intentions, our journey with them has always been difficult: exhausting bureaucracy, long waiting times, and the overall perception of being just “another patient”. Last year we moved to the Bay Area, and after a few months we got in contact with Dr. Aimee and her team. From the very beginning, both my husband and I have been completely blown away by her expertise, her dedication to the profession and the patients. She was involved at every step of the process (she even took the time to draw some blood for the routine tests, and let me tell you, it was the quickest and swiftest blood draw I have ever experienced!). Dr. Aimee and her team are incredibly responsive and flexible (flexible appointment times, and very quick response to our emails), which allowed us to accomplish more in 6 months during a pandemic than 2 years with a top infertility clinic in Boston.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Trust her completely.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
Aside for her medical expertise, what my husband and I appreciated the most was her overall ability to truly listen to our questions, doubts and fears. For religious reasons, we were ready to explore only certain treatments (no IVF). Dr. Aimee listened to us, preparing a treatment plan that would make the most of our options. Not once we have felt uncomfortable, she has really put us first every single time with patience and understanding. When certain attempts would not work, she gave us hope through encouragement and planning.
Describe the protocols Aimee Eyvazzadeh used in your cycles at Aimee Eyvazzadeh and their degree of success.
My husband and I were not comfortable with IVF, for personal reasons. Dr. Aimee helped us plan a set of treatments of increasing complexity. We started with timed intercourse, then IUI with Femera (2 cycles, with different dosage of medications). As a back plan, we also discussed the possibility of embryo adoption.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Aimee Eyvazzadeh.
The nursing stuff is competent, efficient and responsive. However, Dr. Aimee was involved at each step of the process (once she even performed a blood draw to me and my husband, instead of the nurse: needless to say, she proved extremely skilled even in that).

Dr. Aimee was ready to discuss these different options with us, however we were not interested at the time. We wish point out that Dr. Aimee's social accounts contain a wealth of educational material on these techniques (as well as on other topics).

She did not make me feel bad about being unorganized but instead dedicated an hour of her time sorting through the chaos. After we had a good idea of the journey that lead me to her office it was time for the dreaded physical exam. I always hate this part of the appointments but unfortunately am used to it, especially when first meeting new doctors. Dr. Aimee made it such a comfortable experience for me, and even more so she made me comfortable with what she was seeing on the sonogram. Taking the time to point out what was what on the screen of black and grey mess. It helped me understand the importance of these exams. After the exam, I was able to redress and return to her office so we could talk without the uncomfortable nakedness on the exam room table conversation. It was great. She gave her professional opinion and options to move forward. My husband and I left with a weight lifted off of our shoulders, it was the first time in this long infertility journey we had ever felt that way.

When I made the decision to contact Dr. Aimee I was given her email directly and thought well here we go, I will email her this morning and hear back in 2 to 3 days but that was just no the case. I emailed her at 6:30 a.m. in the morning was ready to close my browser and walk away when my email notifications went off. It was her!!!! Not even 10 minutes after my original email was sent. I was met with a warm email introducing herself and asking a bit more about my particulars to see if I may be a candidate for a consultation. Throughout the morning we had an email conversation string of about 10 emails. In the doctor world that is just unheard of. I felt like she heard me, understood my struggle, and wanted to use her knowledge to help. It doesn't get any more human than that.

Dr. Aimee [Eyvazzadeh] respected my wish to use my own eggs for IVF as well as try IUI. Ultimately, those methods failed...consistently personable and responsive. Dr. Aimee in particular was not just extremely responsive, but she balanced being positive with being realistic and was very supportive...I'm a 50 year old who just had a healthy baby boy, my second child, under Dr. Aimee's care. She didn't underestimate me like other doctors. She listened, she was respectful, she was realistic about my options, yet was never insulting, condescending or offensive. She was personally and immediately responded to my emails, she got down and dirty to draw blood if a nurse wasn't present, she made sure that my meds were taken care of and that no stone was left unturned. She made herself available, she is compassionate, positive, funny and candid. She was always helpful with referrals, unlike many other doctors. If she didn't like something (like my blood work for my thyroid), she took immediate action. She got things done in a way that I've never seen a doctor get done and never accepted mediocrity. With her tenacity and get-things-done approach, she really should be running the country! She made the impossible, possible with me and my family.

we started with Dr Aimee [Eyvazzadeh] in November and were successfully carrying a baby 4 months later!...Not only did she bring hope alive again for us, she healed our battered emotional state and dove headfirst into solving the “why” question for us. Her supernatural ability to return emails to you PERSONALLY and usually within 10 mins is almost not human, but one of my most favorite things about her. She is absolutely the smartest, most passionate, most empathetic and talented physician I have ever worked with and I don’t think I will ever be able to express my gratitude to her.
Strengths [Dr. Eyvazzadeh's office]: Dr Aimee is obsessed with finding a successful outcome for you. She really is so passionate and it shows how badly she wants to succeed with you when she works with you...Weakness: This clinic requires you pay for exams and IVF out of pocket...[the nurses are] Wonderful, kind, prompt and very efficient. The ease of getting a hold of staff and the speed which things were taken care of was amazing!
How was your experience with Aimee Eyvazzadeh at Aimee Eyvazzadeh?
We started going to Dr Aimee in 2017. We had tried for 2 years previously with UCSF’s Center for Reproductive Health and had gotten nowhere...just endless attempts with no investigation on why nothing was working. Then, we started with Dr Aimee in November and were successfully carrying a baby 4 months later! I can’t tell you what she did for us. Not only did she bring hope alive again for us, she healed our battered emotional state and dove headfirst into solving the “why” question for us. I don’t think we would have our first baby and another on the way if we didn’t find her. I would have given up. Infertility is a brutal process and I almost didn’t have the strength for it, so thank goodness we found her. I truly believe that if there is any way in this world for you to have a baby, Dr Aimee will find out how. If there is any doubt in your mind, just email her! Haha, but seriously, just meet with her and you will be able to tell instantly...she’s not like the rest!!!

Weakness: This clinic requires you pay for exams and IVF out of pocket. However, it is worth every penny if you really want a successful outcome. Who can put a price on holding your own baby one day?? Strengths: Dr Aimee is obsessed with finding a successful outcome for you. She really is so passionate and it shows how badly she wants to succeed with you when she works with you. If there is a way for you to have children, Dr Aimee will find it!

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
she [Dr. Aimee] is very knowledgeable, straight forward and accommodated my early morning request for appointments. she provided options and insight into the best plan for treatment. she is very responsive to emails. ... personalized care ... i used additional stimms during the second round because my ovaries were not as quick to respond as my initial egg retrieval. baseline ultrasound d and blood test on cycle day 2, day 5, day 7, day 9, and day 11.
there was easy parking, the facility [Aimee Eyvazzadeh] was clean, it had state of the art technology. felt like a hospital like setting. it felt somewhat like a factory line with patients stacked back to back. overall experience was pleasant ... [nursing staff] attentive and quick to perform blood draws. at the clinic on my first egg retrieval they were compassionate, detailed and followed up

Amazing that she really makes you feel that you're the only one and always know all the little things about you and your treatment. Still undergoing treatment, but trusting your Dr. is a must! She's very attentive in every way and glad I found her. I have has 2 miscarriages, AMH.7, FSH 12-20, and AFC 6-11. We were told by the original doctor maybe will only have one live birth. Dr. Amiee gave us hope and a lot of comfort knowing she'll work with us as long as we'd like. Still in progress but we have hope!
