For the most part, our experience with SRM was great! Over the course of 2+ years, we mostly had communication issues and that's all. We were very happy with Dr. Shah and the hands on nursing staff. I was happy with the quick communication with the nurses through the portal, even though things were occasionally missed. Robin was the finance person and we also had trouble communicating with her. Very unclear answers to our financial questions and general unresponsiveness. Since I am intimately familiar with the portal system, I just want to comment that it's sleek and mostly wonderful compared to some that I've had to deal with. Unfortunately, it was difficult to search through older messages and you are kicked back to the first page of messages after you open an old one on a different page. So navigating it is a challenge at times.

SRM as a whole is amazing. The nurses are personable and the doctors are professional. The clinic was typically on-time and I don’t remember ever waiting more than 5 minutes. I have been to all of the clinics besides Tacoma, all of which had parking and were easy to find.

SRM is a massive practice, with multiple locations, each with multiple doctors. If you are in the Seattle area, SRM is one of the top fertility clinics in the area. If you haven't already, check them out in the SART database; their success rates are second to none in the area, and they do more IVF cycles than any other practice. The reason I chose them was, with so many cycles a year and such high rates of success, I assumed their lab and overall team had the most experience and therefore would offer the best treatment and highest chance of pregnancy for my husband and me. As a patient, I also observed that they followed what I knew from research to be current best practices in the field. With such a large practice, you might assume you wouldn't receive as much personal attention, but this was never the case for me at SRM. I never waited long--if at all--to get into an appointment; if I arrived early, they typically got me in early, which was awesome. When I arrived late on a couple occasions, they were still able to get me in fairly quickly. The receptionists were extremely friendly, as were the nurses, med techs, and doctors who saw me; and I saw people at Kirkland, Bellevue, and Seattle Westlake locations. I never felt rushed through an appointment. Everyone was happy to answer my questions, and when I needed to cry--as I did on a couple occasions--the staff was very compassionate and understanding. SRM even gave me a gift upon my "graduation" from their practice to my local OB. :-) I honestly loved being a patient at SRM. Even though SRM is a large practice, the individual locations make it feel smaller and more personal, while the experience of the lab, embryology team, and team of doctors ultimately results in excellent patient outcomes.

Both the Everett and Kirkland location are clean and quiet (maybe too quiet!) and everyone I met through the process was friendly. They make it very easy to know what to do and when and always answer questions right away. There is definately a very clinic-y vibe, which was hard for me to reconcile with conceiving a baby, but at the end of the day thats exactly what happened!

I had issues with the financial counseling. I was told opposing information by the same and different people. I also did not get a due date on my estimate, but was told it was due within 30 days of egg retrieval since I was a Shared Hope/cancer patient. This was not the case. I received a message a week after my first visit requesting the full (almost) $9,000 due immediately. I also tried to pay for a semen analysis the day of but was told to just wait for a bill in the mail, which was also apparently wrong. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with SRM. They seemed unorganized at times and my preference for natural fertilization was not followed. In the end, I suffered what feels like a big loss and ended up with nothing. However, everyone was nice.

Everyone is very nice and helpful. Have your drivers licenses read at check in. The financial advisor is incredible and so helpful. She always has your best interest in mind and truly wants to help. I couldn’t ask for a better clinic!

Amazing experience! I've worked with a different (not SRM) reproductive clinic before, but wasn't impressed with an experience and care, so for my second child, I went to SRM. Kirkland was my main office, but I did go to Seattle and Bellevue locations as well for some of the procedures. Wow - so impressed and grateful! My coordinator nurse Kimmy was amazing - so caring and fast with communication. It was different from my first clinic in a way that I often saw different providers for each step, but everyone was very professional and caring, and you learn to trust the whole team! They also were very quick to address my worries, and did extra tests I asked for just to help with my anxiety. I was always seen very fast after walking in (which was very different from my first clinic where I would wait for 30 mins in the waiting room and then over an hour once inside the cabinet), and never felt like my appointments were hurried. In addition - they have amazing equipment, and very proficient people taking blood (I'm really bad at giving blood, but that so painless and quick! Which was appreciated, considering how many time you have to do this in the process).
