He is a wonderful person. He always has a smile on his face and is a very relatable in conversation. He is a family man and is easy to talk to. He was always there when we had questions and personally called us back if we requested a call back. He is a wonderful doctor.

We did an atognist protcol if I remember. We did menopur, gonal f, and cetrotide I think. We were on bcp prior to stims, we stimmed 9 days had 18 eggs, 14 retrieved by the on day surgeon not Dr. Ashante because it was not his day. Only two made it to blast and only one came back Pgs normal. We also did lupron and progesterone prior to transfer and progesterone during the tww. Unfortunately it didn’t take and we didn’t get above a 0 on my beta. We are now prepping for the 2nd cycle with new supplants for about 3 months prior to retrieval. Hoping for better quality eggs this time.

Although we had 3 miscarriages, he never gave up on us. Presented us with the facts and suggested further testing. He always gave us the option to dive deeper into testing or just keep trying. I felt in control with his guidance.

Trust him and the process! This entire process is full of ups and downs, and waiting! I was always hoping things could go faster but had to keep my focus on the proper way to achieve the goal!

The meds we used for my first IUI didn't exactly work the same for my second. And the third had to be cancelled all together. We did 3 mock transfers to get the perfect scenario for baby. He tweaked the protocols each time and we ended in success!

Dr Asante is my second fertility doctor and I have only been working with him a short time but my experience has been wonderful. Dr Asante has great knowledge on the process and is very through with al areas of treatment. After my embry transfer, positive pregnancy results, and miscarriage, Dr Asante was very empathetic and compassionate

Dr Asante followed the clinics protocols and is resulted in a successful thaw transfer, however I later miscarried

My medications (progesterone and estrogen) were around 60 per week. 2,900$ for the FET. My ultrasounds and blood work were billed to my insurance, and I paid a 65 dollar co pay per office visit

Dr Asante tansfered a single embryo, however due to my recurrent miscarriages stated he would approve transferring more than one embryo at my next transfer if that is the decision I make

Although my first IUI was not successful, I still love Dr. Asante and how he makes me feel as a patient. He is kind and very knowledgeable. He is positive about treatment but also realistic about what steps may need to be taken.

Started with lab work for me to determine my hormones and amh levels, then checked my ovaries for cysts. I started clomid cycle day 3, had a follicle scan cycle day 12 and scheduled the IUI for 2 days later.

IUI was $450, ultrasounds $225 and progesterone was $75, estrogen checks were $125

At first, we didn't think we would go with Dr. Asante as his presentation at our teleconsult as he seemed to be pushing us toward IVF and he seemed pretty pessimistic about the IUI option that we wanted to pursue (due to my age of 37 and since we had not become pregnant yet with Letrozole/Femara at my OBGYN previously). Nonetheless, the affordability (billing through my insurance wherever possible for ultrasounds and labs, despite not having "fertility" covered by our plan) and good communication of the office staff, made us reconsider their office. They also were willing to work with us with vaccine waivers (since I had already had the vaccines as a child but no longer had high antibodies). When our first IUI cycle got cancelled due to overstimulating my follicles (I have PCOS so if they get more than 2 mature follicles, doctors start getting nervous for risk of multiples), we lost a little bit of hope but decided to try one or two more cycles. This time, Dr. Asante added Dexamethasone which seemed to help my ovaries produce just two follicles. I took supplements for progesterone (yam-based cream from Amazon) and to improve my lining (Fairhaven products) along with weekly acupuncture on my own, and that next cycle we fell pregnant following our first IUI with their office. They followed up with labs and a couple of early ultrasounds 5 and 7 weeks before graduating us to our OBGYN's office today. All in all, it was a much better experience than Brown Fertility (also in Orlando) was going to be from our communication and appointments with them. Very thankful we went with Dr. Asante and his team!

Do your own research and advocate for yourself. Ultimately, he is willing to work with you to achieve your goals, but you may not feel as "emotionally supported" as you would hope from a fertility doctor. His team is excellent though and they were able to help us fall pregnant!

Letrozole (5mg) on days 3 through 7 Dexamethasone (0.5 mg) days 3 through Ovulation HCG trigger shot IUI

Copays for ultrasounds and labs. $550 for IUI (since not covered by my insurance). Meds went through a third party company like MDR which help you get trigger shot for cheaper than normal ($99 Pregnyl).
