3 rounds IUI-don’t remeber any details
1 egg retrieval- 150iu of follistim ( which was lowered to 75 after 3 days) cetrotide, menopur and leuoprolide trigger. Retrieved 34 eggs only 10 fertilized and only 3 genetically normal
Round 2- started follistim at 75iu, the idea was to not over stimulate me like the 1st time in hopes for better quality. Only retrieved 12 and only 3 fertilized. 0 genetically normal
Round 3- set to over stimulate again
FET- medicated cycle- resulted in miscarriage at 10 weeks
FET2- medicated cycle - resulted in chemical pregnancy ( thought was ectopic. For a while)

My husband had a silly accident walking into the glass door at the clinic and she was so kind making sure he was ok, and even running labs because of the large bump on his head. We started off with a saline sonogram and routine labs for AMH/ FSH, along with thyroid. Meanwhile my husband had his semen analysis’ done. After the month of testing, my next cycle was for egg retrieval. We started with estrogen priming. After egg retrieval I took a month off and we transferred the following cycle.

To put it simply, Dr. Leung expertly created a medication plan that resulted in a highly successful egg retrieval, multiple embryos for future transfer, and most importantly, a top-quality embryo that stuck on the first transfer, and we're now expecting our first child. Dr. Leung was incredibly informative, and left us feeling empowered throughout the process. We can't thank her enough for keeping us confident, comforted, and ultimately getting us to exactly where we wanted to be at the end of the summer: headed into our second trimester. At first I'll admit I was a little bummed that having twins was not a possibility with IVF (I wasn't eligible for IUI because we needed to do single gene testing on our embryos) but honestly, being pregnant with ONE baby is simpler and less risky than being pregnant with multiples...so ultimately I completely agree with RMA's motto of birthing 1 healthy baby at a time. It does make sense.
Dr. Leung made me and my husband feel so comfortable and cared for. She took her time with us during the initial appointment. We never felt rushed, she answered our questions honestly and always provided us with hope. Working with Dr. Leung from start to finish made me feel like I was always in good hands...She gives off great energy; she's calm, informative, patient and genuine.

I'm not sure if it is because of COVID, but partners/husbands are not allowed for some tests or other things such as blood draws. I'm really bad with needles, so they were kind enough to make an exception for me to have my husband with me for blood drawing.

Given my husband's infertility, we needed donor sperm. After having weighed out the physical, emotional, and monetary differences between IUI and IVF — and accounting for the fact that I am still in my early 30s with healthy and clear ovaries, we decided to start with IUI. The plan was to do 3-4 rounds before jumping to IVF. Luckily, we got pregnant from the second round of IUI.

THEY'RE THE BEST! Adrienne was on top of everything. She checked in often, made sure I was clear on next steps and when to come in for what. And I know the second she got any test results, she'd call me immediately. She never rushed me off the phone and always returned my calls promptly.

Angela recommended IVF due to my DOR. This was because we wanted multiple children. It made sense to me and my husband. However with our insurance, we needed to do 3 IUIs prior in order to qualify for some IVF coverage.
We ended up getting pregnant with our second IUI with letrozole and a trigger.
