She [Dr. Beltsos] was a great doc. With her, I got nearly twice as many eggs at retrieval compared to my prior doctor. Very informed. Very kind. Up to date. Not sure if a lot could be changed about our embryo outcome though ...She spoke to me and my husband intelligently. Very warm person...Androgen priming. Poor responders protocol. Growth hormone. 750 follistim for 3 days, then weaning of follistim and adding Menopur.
[Vios Fertility Institute] Parking. Convenient location. Clean. Friendly. Very efficient. Never had to wait long for an ultrasound or blood work. They were always able to get me in quickly. Could schedule around my work schedule...[nursing staff] Very informed. Never had to wait long for a response....She [Dr. Beltsos] was a great doc. She [Angeline N. Beltsos] seemed very knowledgeable. We tried many different approaches until one worked. She is very friendly and has a good bedside manor. As a woman, I felt very comfortable with her...Treatment wss individualized for me, and I vent that everyone I interacted with cared about me and my results... I liked her enough that I followed her when she left to start her own practice...Sometimes it was hard to get a hold of someone later on if I forgot to ask something in the moment.
It's [FCI - Chicago] a big place with lots of patients. Be prepared to wait with a lot of others. They are fairly efficient at moving people along through their appointments despite how many purple are there...Come prepared with questions! Sometimes it was hard to get a hold of someone later on if I forgot to ask something in the moment...About $12,000 for an IVF cycle not including medication............

Got a successful outcome [with Dr. Beltsos] so we are grateful for that but the experience overall wasn’t positive. Too big of a practice to provide the care that should be taken in situations like this. Confusing instructions, lack of information on what to expect and what would come next...Know you will be treated as a number and expected to give endless hrs to managing the logistics of your treatment
FCI does not always take a personal approach to their patients. Too big and too impersonal. Support staff was rude and uncaring at times. Highly disorganized with paperwork, process, medicine ordering, etc...She [nurse] was good, but we could never get in touch with her (as evidence we don’t remember her name). When we got her she was helpful...Strength: successful outcome, good hours , quick check-out Weakness: impersonal, expensive, disorganized, long wait times, no consistent communication, bad project management, disorganized medication process

Dr. Beltsos has a wonderful bed side manner and was willing to look into some concerns I had that my previous clinic would not. Because she was flexible with treatment I was able to be treated for those issues and finally have a successful cycle....I rarely saw Dr. Beltsos and the monitoring was like a cattle call...[The staff at FCI was] awesome! Very compassionate and never made me feel like I was dumb or taking up their time if I needed questions answered. I never felt rushed by them.

[Dr. Angeline Beltsos] knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and just an all around lovely person...called me when one of my transfers worked screaming with excitement and she called me when a sibling transfer miscarried...always made time for me and always makes an effort to do my procedures
I honestly don’t have a complaints [about Kindbody - Chicago]. ..only had 1 small issue with billing in my five years and it was just a small oversight...biggest strength with Vios / Kindbody Chicago is that that move according to the patients body rather than waitlisting and batching.
How was your experience with Angeline Beltsos at Kindbody - Chicago (formerly Vios Fertility Institute)?
Dr Beltsos is the best of the best. She’s knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and just an all around lovely person. She called me when one of my transfers worked screaming with excitement and she called me when a sibling transfer miscarried, genuinely upset with the result and sorry that it was happening. She has always made time for me and always makes an effort to do my procedures (egg retrievals, transfers, hysteroscopies, etc.) she goes above and beyond and I feel lucky to be under her care. When I needed a HSG and didn’t get a response from my OB within 24 hours, she personally made calls to my OB and other OBs to get me on their schedule. My first two retrievals we ended up with 2 PGT normal embryos per retrieval and on the 3rd, she got us 7 PGT normal embryos. She adjusted meds where needed and it paid off big time. Everywhere I go, I hear stories similar to mine when it comes to Dr Beltsos!

Trust her.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Angeline Beltsos at Kindbody - Chicago (formerly Vios Fertility Institute)?
Dr Beltsos and her entire team have treated me like a human since day 1. From my first appointment when I met Dr Beltsos to now, she has always made a such an incredible effort to “hold my hand” throughout this process, something that was imperative to me when choosing who to originally freeze my eggs with (and since done two more retrievals, 3 PGT rounds and a transfer that has resulted in a live birth). Now in a sibling cycle, while it hasn’t worked yet, she has squeezed me into her busy schedule, she has helped me get procedures done quicker at my OBs office, and she participates on calls that quite frankly, she doesn’t even need to be on. That’s how much Dr Beltsos cares and I am so lucky to have the best fertility doctor in the game.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Kindbody - Chicago (formerly Vios Fertility Institute). (Assigned nurse: Tricia)
Everyone at the Vios / Kindbody Wicker Park location is lovely. Having been a patient now for almost 5 years, my care team has remained the same from my favorite ultrasound tech Tracy to my incredible nurse Tricia. The bloodwork nurses are also top notch and always with smilies on their faces.
Tricia, my nurse, is a godsend. So kind and compassionate and easy to talk to. She responds to portal messages - even ridiculous questions - quickly and with no judgement. She along with Tracy and others have made a long grueling process much more pleasurable than it should be.
Describe your experience with Kindbody - Chicago (formerly Vios Fertility Institute).
I honestly don’t have a complaints. I have seen a lot of people complain about the financial department but I’ve only had 1 small issue with billing in my five years and it was just a small oversight.
I believe the biggest strength with Vios / Kindbody Chicago is that that move according to the patients body rather than waitlisting and batching. It makes an already stressful process less stressful with less waiting time.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Angeline Beltsos at Kindbody - Chicago (formerly Vios Fertility Institute).
Only out of pocket costs after hitting OOPM were for extras like PGT testing, acupuncture, HCG wash, etc. No surprises with costs.

She [Dr. Angeline Beltsos] was always very kind, spoke to me by name, and took a lot of time with me during each appointment. She was very personal.... For the first cycle with her we did medicated iui with clomid, follistim injections and trigger shot. That failed. For the second cycle we just did clomid, trigger, and time intercourse. That failed as well. For the next cycle she switched me to femara, trigg t and TI because clomid seemed to be thinning my lining. That worked.
It’s [Vios Fertility Institute-Chicago] dr beltsos clinic so everything I said about her and her staff applies here. I loved everything about this clinic. The doctors, nurses, location, hours. Everything worked really we it’s a well oiled machine... They [the nursing staff] were always friendly and always willing to answer my millions of emails. They were genuinely happy for me when things worked out. They knew what they were doing
