Leavimg one doctor going to Donesky was best choice I made. He showed he cared and wanted the absolute best for me. He reviewed my lab results each time and made specific adjustments if needed. I felt he was doing his best to get me what I wanted

Just to stay open minded and know they have your best interest and saftey at mind

Starting IVF. Had to undergo lots of bloodwork and genetic testing to make sure we were capable including the clomid challenge. My s/o also had to do a sperm analysis. Once starting iVF I was seen every other day for ultrasound and labs and then went through egg retrieval. He let me heal for a month before starting preping for transfer, my transfer cycle got cancelled once bloodwork showed I ovulated. Had to wait and try the next month. I did, and he transferred 2 embryos and I now have a beautiful baby boy

Each process of the IVF cycle cost different, I also had a 50 pay each time I went to the clinic. I had to pay 5000 up front to hold my spot for starting IVF. Then I got Bill's for the rest

I voiced with the money I was spending I wanted to transfer 2 , and he didn't have a problem with it, but each person and situation is different

Dr. Donesky has always treated myself and my spouse with care and respect. There was one time where we had a miscommunication on the steps for a cycle. Dr. Donesky and his staff made it right and assured us that we were still in good hands. We have always enjoyed our consults with him as he is so knowledgeable and understanding.

Bring your notes. He will answer all of your questions and he will not interrupt you. Make sure to take good notes while you’re there because he gives full information!

Dr. Donesky was adamant about using Clomid over any other fertility medicine because he has seen the best results with it. I asked him about alternatives, and he explained his experiences with both.

The Lap out of pocket cost was $900. My insurance took care of the rest. The Clomid Challenge plus Sono with iodine was $400, no insurance The Clomid with timed intercourse was $750, no insurance

I have not asked about this. We plan to do IVF in 2021.

Dr. Donesky is very nice. He will admit when situations have him stumped. My situation is a tough one. I feel like he wants me to succeed. At every appointment he always checks on me to make sure I am mentally handling all of the hurtles that have been thrown into our plans. He has been very understanding to my concerns and apprehension due to how my body is responding.

Be patient. Even if you go in and you are healthy and young there are set backs that can arise. Fertility treatment is not for the faint of heart.

Birth control was used to control my periods during treatments. I was on a variety of stimulating drugs: progesterone in oil, estrogen patchs, estradiol pills, vitamin D, Levothyroxine, prenatal vitamins. I also did Lipid infusions before my last few transfers.

Retrieval was around $15,000, FET $5000 each meds were not included. This is just and estimate, I do not have the exact numbers. Diagnostic tests ranged from $60-$1000.

Dr. Donesky prefers one embryo to be transferred at a time. He is open minded tho. I discussed transferring two multiple times. Due to my history of recurrent miscarriages we opted out of it to prevent losing all our embryos at once. Our embryos were graded highly.

Dr. Donesky is excellent at explaining all diagnoses and treatment options. He will get deep into the science of it all if that is what you want. I felt very informed as his patient. He also has a warm bedside manner.

Be ready to take notes! He explains everything in great detail.

I attempted IUI 4 times. Three times we used Clomid, and for the last time we used Femara. We were only able to proceed with the actual insemination once because my ovaries were not responding appropriately to the medications. We adjusted the days that I took the meds each time to try to figure out a good plan, but my body just would not cooperate. Dr. Donesky offered to try IUI with injectables, but the cost was significantly greater with not that much higher of a chance of it being successful, so my husband and I declined.

I have excellent health insurance, so my costs were minimal with the exception of the one full IUI cycle we did. IUI was about $1200. We considered embryo adoption, which is about $5,000. We also considered using an egg donor, which was $18,000 or $29,000 depending on the package chosen.

He has been open to try new things and very knowledgeable. I know he is as frustrated with my body and results as I am and I know he wants to see me come through with a baby. He has at times given me some of the medicine I needed because at this point we have spent everything we have and we appreciate that so much!

He is for you and will do everything he can.

First I ovulated so that cycle was cancelled and the next cycle we used lupron no embryos made it to blast. Next cycle 3 made it to blast but they all had a missing chromosome so we didn’t transfer any. Then we tried transferring a donor embryo that ended in a blighted ovum, the next one took but we lost the pregnancy at 17 weeks, a little girl. This last one we used an autoimmune protocol that included metformin, prednisone, Intralipids, Neupogen, and letrazole. This one we got a negative beta. All cycles included lovenox, estradiol, progesterone in oil and baby aspirin.

Trying to remember seems like ivf was at least 14,000 with meds almost 20,000 per try. Each embryo transfer was 3,700 meds around 2,000

He is open to whatever but recommends only transferring one.

He was very warm. He explained everything very well. I could tell he wanted to do everything he could to get me pregnant, seeing everything I have been through previously with other doctors. I could tell he definitely takes pride in his work. I just really felt like he was there to help me

He was awesome in doing everything ti make sure I was healthy, my partner was healthy. Just be patient, it's a long process. And they only see 18 couples so you may have to wait.

With my previous surgeries and procedures, he took all that in 5o consideration, after looking over my history he decided to do the clomid challenge and it was to check the quality of my eggs. Also a throyid panel and vitamin d panel. We also did a seman analysis to check his quality of sperm since we are moving into ivf

I have insurance that helps me alot. I had to pay 117 for just my first visit. With the clomid challenge and my diagnostics I paid around 150. They offer different packages with ivf but like I said my insurance is helping

They only do frozen transfer and will plant as many as 3.

Dr. Donesky is wonderful. I went in knowing that based on my diagnosis he would likely recommend donor eggs. He did and I said that while I wasn’t against it, I needed to try with my own eggs first. He immediately agreed and jumped into beginning a cycle to retrieve my eggs. He is funny and relaxed, but also does a tremendous amount of research and keeps up with what is happening in the world of infertility. He’s been so wonderful for my husband and I.

To not be afraid to ask questions. He will answer them. And know that he will do his best to set you at ease.

I have a diagnosis of diminished ovarian reserve. I did a micro dose lupron flare protocol with an hcg trigger. Beginning in day 4 after starting the protocol, I had blood work and ultrasounds every other day, and then eventually daily. I stimmed for 10 days, as I had a few slow responding follicles. I did not have a fresh transfer, and we did PGS testing. For frozen transfer, I wore estrogen patches, and took progesterone injections. After transfer I continued the patches and did oral and vaginal progesterone.

I paid a total of $18,500 for IVF, PGS testing of up to 8 embryos, and FET, including drugs (purchased from an outside vendor). The total paid to the clinic was $13,600, which included the stim cycle monitoring, egg retrieval, 2 massages, and one frozen embryo transfer.

Dr. Donesky gives a lot of information in his meetings, but he is sure we understand what he means every time. He draws us pictures demonstrating what he is talking about and when I had a mix up with my medication I called his personal phone number and left him a message and he called back and fixed it within 10 minutes. He performed a test to check for tubal blockages and has followed up with us anytime he is in the office. He travels back and forth from Chattanooga and Knoxville so he’s only available in Knoxville on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but he is so sweet and genuinely cares.

If you want to see him consecutively, be prepared to drive out to Chattanooga. He is 100% worth it.

Dr. Donesky was very careful when upping my dosage of clomid to prevent overstimulating my ovaries. He has put me on a higher dose for a couple days longer this go around and we are hopeful it worked as it was supposed to this round as well.

We paid a $60 copay every visit, but now we pay $1075 for a package with IUI which includes the ultrasound, hcg test, progesterone test, and the procedure itself

Dr. Donesky was wonderful as far as being very open about risks, procedures, etc. My only issue is that when I first went to the clinic, my FSH level came back at 13.9 (very high, and very close to considering donor eggs). I am only 25, so Dr. Donesky thought that it made more sense to take the risk and attempt a cycle with my eggs rather than discuss donor eggs. The first cycle, we ended up with 16 eggs (after having over 20 follicles on each ovary). We only ended with 4 embryos. We decided to do a second retrieval, and still again were not advised of the possibility of using donor eggs. After the second retrieval, we got 21 eggs, but all of them deteriorated the very next day, and we were left with zero embryos. I feel as though if we had used donor eggs from the beginning, we would've saved time, money, and heartache, and could potentially have our baby by now. I wish all options would have been discussed, regardless of my age, since my FSH was so close to the borderline of only using donor eggs.

Do your research, but I would give this advice for ANY doctor. Know your options before trusting any doctors opinion. Know the normal levels of all your hormones, and what high/low numbers could mean. Ask your doctor about these levels if they seem to be abnormal. I wish I had asked more questions and pushed for different options.

My first cycle was pretty traditional, we used cetrotide to prevent ovulation. However, I ovulated on the last day, early, and we had to cancel the cycle after 13 days of injections. We switched to a long lupron cycle for the next two cycles which worked much better for us.

We had significant insurance coverage for our first cycle, so the cost was less. However, it seemed pretty in line with that national average from the research I've done.

Due to my high FSH levels, my doctor was okay with us transferring two embryos.

Dr. Donesky was very knowledgeable. At our very first appointment, he explained and drew a diagram of how PCOS effects fertility. He was very positive and upbeat. He listened to our concerns and answered our questions. He explained a treatment plan by our 2nd appointment.

Make sure that all your medical information is updated before seeing Dr. Donesky. Some of my medical records were not submitted before my first appointment with Dr. Donesky. Be current on pap exams. Dr. Donesky likes for one to be done every 2 years.

Our treatment plan was to have the Femvue or HSG done after labs. After the Femvue, Dr. Donesky felt a round of Clomid with trigger shot and IUI would be the first step. He believes in doing 3 IUIs and then, moving to IVF if the IUI do not work. I am currently still in the process of taking Clomid at this time.

They try to cover everything under insurance if they can (HSG and labs). IUI (Clomid induced) Trigger shot, ultrasound, and 1 hour massage was $1100. I am not sure of IVF costs yet.

I can't say enough about Dr. Donesky!! My husband and I were ready to give up on our dream of having a family. Our old clinic didn't treat us well and we felt very hopeless. I did some research and convinced my husband to drive 2 hours to meet with Dr. Donesky. He was extremely personable when we met with him. He had looked over our paperwork prior to our appointment and asked us what we were thinking and then suggested a detailed plan that took into account our past experiences and my endometriosis. He offered suggestions and ideas that I had never heard about before and backed it up with facts and studies. I felt like he always listened to me and genuinely cared about how I was doing, what I was thinking. He sees me at every single appointment and is very easy to talk to. I can't recommend him enough!!

You will not be disappointed! Dr. Donesky is extremely intelligent and very personable. He will see you at every appointment and is very easy to get in touch with and talk to.

I have stage 4 endometriosis and had 2 failed fets prior to seeing Dr. Donesky so he thought the endo may have been affecting the lining, not allowing the embryos to attach so I took Femara and birth control for a month. It was a protocol I had never heard of, but everything he said made sense and after doing my own research I decided it was a good idea. During that cycle I had an HSG where he diagnosed me with a uterine septum, something my other clinic completely missed. He removed the septum the following day. I also had an endometrial scratch during this cycle. After this cycle we began our fet cycle. I went in to get labs on day 3 and was given instructions on how to use the estrogen patches. 2 weeks later we went back to the clinic and they determined my lining was good so we scheduled our transfer. I went down to 2 estrogen patches (changing them every 3 days) at that point and started twice daily progesterone in oil injections. We transferred 6 days later and continued the PIO 2 times a day

All of my tests were covered under insurance. We only paid for our PIO and the transfer itself, which I think was around $5000

I think our doctor may have recommended transferring more than one embryo at this point, but given our history we were not interested in transferring more than one and they were very supportive about that

Dr. Donesky is great and we are blessed to have found him. Sometimes I feel like he thinks you understand but he is a little over your head but every time I have felt like that, he has reworded our treatment plan into words and actions I can understand. He draws alot to get his point across or for you to gain a better understanding.

Know that while he is trying to be as cost understanding as possible that his main focus is why you are there- you are having trouble conceiving. He is not going to recommend a test just for the sake of testing but he will test alot to make sure he understands the problem and to decide on the best and most successful course of action.

My husband was having male infertility issues when we first saw Dr. Donesky. Dr. Donesky took an initial sperm count and placed my husband on HCG. He retested and added Clomid to our regimen to make sure sperm and testosterone stayed high.

For patients with no insurance, semen analysis was around $200 with strict morphology.

Before IUI, Dr. Donesky sat with my husband and myself answering all of the questions we had with great detail. He was genuine and helpful in adressing our fertility concerns. His goal clearly was to assess our specific fertility issues, explain to us what he thought was our issue, and how he would like to proceed to overcome our fertility obstacles to achieve a successful pregnancy.

Don’t be afraid to ask all the questions you might have. He is helpful but might not volunteer the nitty gritty details unless you want to know exactly how things will go.

Dr. D recommended clomid plus IUI for me - clomid because I wasn’t producing strong eggs on my own, and IUI because the clomid thickens the cervical mucous and makes it more difficult for sperm to swim up. My husband had motility issues also, so IUI was an extra help for them to ensure all the bad swimmers were weeded out and placed exactly where they needed to be - bypassing the thick cm.

Consultation was somewhere around $150 I think, and the IUI procedure was around $1200 which included all intrauterine scans leading up to IUI. There was also a trigger shot I had to order around $125 and the clomid meds were around $20, I think.

Well first of all, his name is spelled Donesky and on the autofill it is spelled incorrectly. I was referred to Dr Donesky by Dr Jay White, my obgyn. I started seeing him in April 2015 and it is July 2015 as I write this. My first appointment went well. Dr Donesky is the first medical professional that I have seen that has treated me with the respect I feel I deserve from day one. Most doctors, nurses, etc treat me like a little kid and talk to me like Im ignorant for at least the first two or three appointments just because I am only 23. Dr Donesky is kind without sugarcoating everything and he thoroughly explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. It is not unusual for him to whip out a piece of paper and draw graphs and pictures while he talks (and holy crap is he good at free-hand drawing graphs!) I cannot stress enough how amazing the communication lines are between the fertility center and patients. I can message Dr Donesky or his nurse any time through the patient portal and they respond diligently. I love that, as a third shifter, I can send them a message at 2am while it is on my mind and have a response waiting for me when I wake up later in the day. Lisa, the financial consultant is always awesome and she will do everything she can to help you finance your treatments. She has pointed me toward discount programs and lenders that I would probably never have found otherwise. I really love the Fertility Center and I would recommend Dr Donesky to anyone in the area looking for an RE.

Utilize the patient portal. It has all kinds of information and resources for you to use if you actually look at it.

Strengths they listen well Weakness would be they don’t offer fresh transfer and they don’t offer many types of ivf other than one kind as well as they don’t use ivm or early retrieval When asked to make acceptions they don’t really tailor the plan there’s more or less a one way to do it for them however I feel they try their hardest to make that way work

Make sure you have money because it’s more expensive than most places and insurance probably won’t conver anything also after your first bet if you get pregnant it won’t be in our package any further and many tests aren’t and procedure either d

It all came to around 20,000 out of pocket including medications

I was able to book an appointment very easily and quickly. My diagnostic testing was smooth and well explained by him. We had our consult for next steps and he was great at explaining why we should move from iui to ivf and made me comfortable and confident in this decision

Be open minded

Have not had a full cycle there except for diagnostic. I had all blood panels done to check amh, progesterone, vitamin d and such. Vitamin d was low, this was never brought to my attention at previous dr. Had a saline hsg to check my tube to make sure it was clear still and it was. Took 100mg of clomid for the “clomid challenge” to see how my body responds and check my reserve.

We got a package cost for diagnostic bloodwork saving us hundreds. It includes my basics and the sperm analysis.

His a respectable man, he explain everything clear and he talks to you Kind and honest.he try’s to help you as much as he can so you can become a parent. He makes your dream to be a dad and mom happen. He have a great experience. He have a good reference as a doctor. A lot of people recommended him

I don’t know yet what his going used for my second transfer I only have one embryo so he will try his best to help me get pregnant

I’m not sure yet I haven’t what is going cost me for the second try egg transfer.

Dr. Donesky is a good blend of being smart/well educated and being compassionate. He has a light and jovial attitude and a positive demeanor. You feel like you can trust him and like he has your best interest at heart.

Don't be afraid, he is very calming.

Dr Donesky was friendly and upbeat. He gave us lots of information at each visit and remained optimistic even when prior doctors had been doom and gloom. He kept our concerns and wants in mind and didn't try to push us towards a treatment that we didn't want to do.

Study up beforehand and have a little faith.

We were on follitism hcg ganerlix and a trigger shot. Later we used vivelle patches, estrace, endometrium, and pio

We did a guarantee program that was around 27k. It would have been up to three retrivals and all transfers in order to get a live birth or your money back. Highly recommended.

Dr donesky prefers esets but was willing and open to transfer multiple embryos.

Dr Donesky, was polite, easily understood. He showed the utmost compassion. He was knowledgeable about his field, and gave us honest advice. I cannot think of any weaknesses he showed during my course of treatment.

Listen to him. He is knowledgeable.

I used clomid, without IUI. Diagnostic blood work was also done. I had previously done 10 + cycles of Clomid and Femara with previous doctors, with 3 IUI’s.

Dr Donesky is a great doctor!! I knew from the first visit he would work with us and form a plan for future treatment. We completed all testing and he explained our best chances for pregnancy was moving forward with IVF. Dr. Donesky always listens to you and explains everything in a way that you understand!

Ask questions and Donesky will answer them all. You won’t feel rushed when you are with him.

Dr. Donesky uses different protocols based on the individual plan of the patient.

Our first visit we had a very friendly nurse and she was great she answered every question that she could. Dr. Donesky was very friendly explained everything to my husband to his understanding and made sure we knew risk.

He is great he will explain everything and will run as many test as it takes to get to the root of the issue. Also he makes sure insurance will cover the testing

Due to have a ectopic pregnancy and a septate uterus he did a hsg to assure I could carry a baby and he started me on provera and I had to come in on cycle day 10 to have the hsg done

At our point insurance covered everything we haven't chose which road we want to take on treatments

Dr. Donesky is very thorough, thoughtful and extremely easy to understand. He answers any and all questions and is so kind! I never questioned his treatment plan and felt like he truly cared in the outcome!
