He didn't give me false hope and explained things to me in a way that I can understand. He also told me that when I came into the office I would see one of the others fully trained physicians. During the counseling he also gave me his email address to use if I had any other questions and or concerns that I thought of after the initial consultation.

Dr. Meyer sat with me and explained things to my husband and myself. He was very good with my husband as well, who really didn't want to be there! He also gave me his email address and responded to emails quickly!

He is very good at emails, so you should get his email address to ask him any questions you have!

I had a visualization of my fallopian tubes, and he found one was blocked. He did an hour surgery to get it unblocked. Since then, I have had a period every month!

He shows compassion and knows what he's doing. I don't see that he has many weaknesses. He is blunt and tells you what you need to hear, even if it's not what you want to hear. I have always been treated very respectfully. I have no complaints.

Doctor Myer is very candid and to the point. He doesn't sugarcoat or give you fluff or tell you what you want to hear. He's blunt and to the point and very honest. That is exactly what I want in a doctor. I appreciate the honesty so that I don't feel like they are just looking to take my money.

I felt Dr. Meyer was very knowledgeable about what he does. He was very nice to me and my husband. He told us what steps we would have to take and gave us information to contact him. He told us what the problem and how he was going to approach treating it.

I saw him for the consult. Then never again. The nurses and a different doctor (a woman, I can't remember her name) provided the tx and ultrasounds, etc. So I don't really understand how he handled my case if I never saw him.

I could only afford what my insurance covered. So I paid the copays.

He's very kind but very honest about what to expect.

Don't be afraid to ask him anything. He will listen to all your concerns and respect them.

He recommended donor egg.

Dr. Meyer is professional, knowledgeable, and practical. He explains the procedures in great detail and is very compassionate at the same time. He provides good enough information and cares your feelings. He is also very responsive, including emails.

prepare your questions in advance

Dr. Meyer did two IUI cycles for us, with Letrozol and ovidual, and timed intercourse for one of them. He also did a IVF cycle for us including ICSI, PGS.

He's a straight shooter, which we appreciated. He's not overly warm, but we felt like he was being honest with us, which we liked. He warned us we had a slim chance and that ended up panning out. If you want a warm and fuzzy doctor, he's probably not your best bet. If you want brutal honesty, go with him!

Dr. Meyer is a doctor who cares about you as a person. While he is not the doctor who I typically see when undergoing care, the clinic has several other great doctors and they have a set rotation, especially for weekend procedures.

Dr. Meyer is kind, compassionate, supportive, and empowering. He didn't give up on us even in the most difficult moments of our fertility journey. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and his approach is supported by evidence and experience. I saw another fertility specialist prior to Dr. Meyer, and I regret that I wasted a year with someone else. Dr. Meyer achieves miracles -- I am nearly 20 weeks pregnant with ours.

Never, ever, ever give up.

Dr. Meyer was matter-of-fact and extremely experienced and knowledgeable. I enjoyed meeting with him and trusted that if anything could be done to achieve a successful pregnancy that he would do it. He was accessible by e-mail if I had questions, and really seemed to care about his patients.

I would consider Dr. Meyer to be a subject matter expert in infertility diagnosis and treatment options. If you are looking for a doctor that is honest and transparent then this is the doctor for you. He will show compassion for your situation, but also not be overly optimistic about options that may actually not work. He reviews your case and looks for gaps in testing before suggesting any options. He is honest and thorough every step of the way and will support you through the good times and bad times. Dr. Meyer is realistic and trust worthy. I felt extremely confident in his decisions and I also felt like he listened to our story and understood where we were coming from. Infertility is a journey and requires a team and I felt like we were a team striving for a successful pregnancy. In the end we were able to grow our family welcoming our twins into the world.

Be honest and open. Be prepared to here about the reality of your situation and also come prepared to discuss options presented to you. Don't be afraid to ask questions about the choices presented to you and always ask why? It is important for the doctor to understand where you stand on treatment options and where your want to start. What you are comfortable with doing and what you are not? It takes a team to get the results and both parties have to play the game.

My husband and I came in with a diagnosis of unexplained infertility trying to conceive naturally for 3.5 years. My age, overall health, and fertility health came back normal. Hormones and reproductive organ function normal. My husbands sperm analysis and hormone panel came back normal except for morphology. 3% of sperm were normal. However, I know due to my medical background that there are many studies proving the impact sperm morphology can have on conception has not yet been completely confirmed. Other than this finding everything was normal for him. Due to our age, timeline to conceive, and diagnosis the doctor and my family choose a more robust approach doing IUI with injectable fertility medications. The overall plan was to increase the amount of eggs released during ovulation to provide more targets for the sperm to access. Ovulation was controlled with a trigger shot. At the time we did not think this would be too risky. However, I am a third generation fraternal twin on my moms side. So that means my great grandmother had twins, my grandmother had twins, my mom had twins, and I conceived on the first IUI cycle with twins. I addressed our concerns about this, but it was decided that it would be low enough to proceed with this choice. Now when we got to the part of measuring the follicle size and how many there were I do believe my genetics played a part in this. I had 8 follicles measuring in the range for release. I was told 5 would definitely release and are most likely to become embryos. The other three were on the smaller end and would release and may become embryos. Our IUI could have been canceled due to how many eggs being released, but our sperm sample came back with a really low count which actually was so low it dropped our chances of conception back down to 10 percent for just one embryo. Well I do believe god was on our side that day and it was decided to proceed with IUI because the sperm count was so low we were not planning on the IUI being successful, but we were surprised to find out it was and we conceived our twins with our IUI.

I think it was around 5,000 for everything, but our insurance did cover some of the cost.

Dr. Meyer has a career of helping couples to conceive. He has also done quite a bit in the community to help those less fortunate who need care. He cares about the patient & I am extremely thankful for him & his team because I was able to become a mother. I have recommended him to friends & family.

He doesn’t beat around the bush. He is direct & honest. He explains well & will determine a good plan, but he isn’t going to give you false hope.

Dr. Meyer is a great doctor while my ivf did not result in a baby I believe he did his best. He explained everything to me in a direct yet sensitive manner. He never made me feel like just a number. He is a smart doctor who won’t just go straight to ivf he’s willing to try stuff before hand.

Listen to everything and take notes always.

For ivf I started with bcp for 2 weeks the. Lupron for two days and then added gonal f and menopur, I did this for close to twenty days.

Close to 20 k 3 rounds super ovulation with gonal f and Iui . Ivf cycle 15k plus meds 10k ish

He prefers to only do single transfer bc it is safer for the mother. Too many risk with multiple births

Dr. Meyer was amazing and we are so happy that we found him for our fertility treatments. He was optimistic but also honest with our fertility plan. We met with him for our consultation in December 2021 and had a positive pregnancy test by May 2022. He adjusted our plan as needed and was always open to hearing my concerns and ideas. I could not recommend Dr. Meyer or the staff at Carolina Conceptions more. We now have our perfect little baby!

He is a wonderful Dr he never gave up on me. Dr Meyer always answered my questions right away. He would change up my medicine for the next transfer and talk to me about supplements to take like Acai.

Don't be afraid to ask him questions he is happy to answer anything

I had fluid in my uterus which is a bad thing embryos can't implant with fluid in your uterus. He told me to start taking Mucinex twice a day till ten days after transfer it worked all the fluid that shouldn't be in my uterus was gone and I'm now 18 weeks 5 days pregnant with a girl.

They let you know the cost of everything upfront

Dr. Meyer is a great communicator. He shares the information needed with the patient. He really cares about each individual patient. He also has a good sense of humor. He is very trustworthy. He is very knowledgable and a great pleasure to work with.

Ask all your questions. He will answer them!

Dr Meyer was the absolute best over our years of seeing him he always took into consideration what we wanted to do and worked with us. Without Dr Meyer we would not have the family we have. I am forever grateful for him and his team at Carolina Conceptions.

Be ready to laugh! He is funny yet serious.

Dr Meyer suggested due to our unexplained infertility that we try IVF. We wanted to try other courses before. We did an HSG test, we did timed intercourse along with clomid. We also did rounds of IUIs with injectables. When those were not successful we did IVF
