2018 - 2019, Unknown Success
Dr Stapp is not a reproductive endocrinologist and some people may only want that...We always leave with an understanding of what to expect next. When I call or send questions through the patient portal I get answers the same day. It has been an emotional journey since we have both male and female factors. She is sensitive to that but also straight forward with what our issues are and what we need to do. I do not feel like she overtreats is or does any unnecessary procedures. The office has been very sensitive to our financial obstacles
The office [of Manchester OB/GYN Associates] is near the hospital and not in the best area of Manchester. This is an OB office that does fertility work and not a specific fertility clinic...~$150 per ultrasound $290 per IUI (sperm wash and procedure) $150 semen analysis $8 Clomid...The nurses have been one of my favorite parts of this practice. Terri was amazing during my (incredibly painful) HSG. She held my hand, made sure I had a private space to recover and told me of her personal fertility journey. Megan has done our IUI and is wonderful. She has a great sense of humor and is able to make an emotional and uncomfortable situation not so bad. They are all wonderful

Describe the protocols Brenna Stapp (OB/GYN) used in your cycles at Manchester OB/GYN Associates and their degree of success.
First a semen analysis for my husband. He is a fire fighter and regularly exposed to extreme heat and toxins. She also recommended a follow up with a urologist when he came back with low numbers and motility and suggested a second SA on different days of his work schedule. I did and HSG and when that was inconclusive (tubal spasms) I came back for a second procedure using radiology due to make sure my tubes were open. We tested all of my hormone levels and thyroid since I am hypothyroid.
Recommended cycles using 50 Clomid. First IUI with Clomid failed. Second IUI next month with same dose of Clomid also failed. Third cycle it did not appear o ovulated. Came in for an ultrasound CD15 and had bloodwork done. It was decided I did not ovulate that cycle. Taking a month off as last cycle was my third consecutive medicated month. Next active cycle I will be doing an early cycle ultrasound, possibly a higher dose of Clomid and possibly a trigger shot depending on how things look
