knows immunological issues well. The office is very busy so expect to wait but that's what most clinics are like. Everyone treats you well.

uses Viagra suppositories (to help uterine lining) which I got confused with progesterone suppositories (which messed up my last cycle). Batches cycles. Overall I think it was a great protocol though, just be watchful of the difference between the suppositories since they look alike (at least that's what it was like in 2011)

Let me start off by sharing the best news ever! I am officially 10 weeks pregnant…with TWINS!!!!! Dr. Acacio has made our dream come true! It didn’t come easy and it isn’t a quick process, but it happened!!! Finding an IVF doctor is incredibly intimidating and overwhelming, so I know these reviews are a helpful insight. Personally, I couldn’t be happier to recommend Dr. Acacio. My fiancé and I had been trying to conceive for 8 years. Thankfully I found Dr. Acacio and thought we’d give it a shot. We soon set up an appointment. It was the best first step, towards this incredible journey, we could’ve made. You can tell his process is completely customized to you, not a one size fits all deal. Very promising. Everyone is so professional, personable, and helpful with any questions or concerns. Without a doubt, I would recommend Dr. Acacio to anyone who would ask.

He figured out that the short protocol was best fit for me. He was successfully right. Everything worked wonderfully.

We had great quality embryos, so we were able to choose 2 embryo transfers vs the singleton. After knowing it would be safe.

Dr. Acacio has always been a pleasure to see when I do see him. His main office is in Laguna Niguel and I'm in Bakersfield. I wish he did come to Bakersfield sometimes. I think I only saw him in Bakersfield during the consultation time which was twice. However, I am still very grateful he extends his work to Bakersfield. He's been very pleasant and up front. He makes you feel relaxed and like you can trust him.

If you are in Bakersfield you will only see him in Laguna Niguel however his main nurse Viridiana Durazo in Bakersfield has been nothing but amazing.

My case was pretty simple, or so we thought. This first cycle with one egg retrieval and one transfer was due to my husband's low sperm count. After we did a transfer we realized I have some obstacles myself and Dr. Acacio and team are currently working on new protocols for me after some testing.

So far we have spent around $33k on two cycles. We still have one cycle left to go and will need to spend additional money for medications, etc.

Dr, Acacio really leaves it up to you on how many embryos to transfer but he will only do up to two.

Dr. Acacio is knowledge. I did not see him at every visit. Perhaps it is because he has 2 offices in different counties. However he offered to attend via telephone. He seems genuine and knowledgeable but my outcome was not as he guessed which did not allow us to proceed to a transfer.

Make sure to complete your own research and Provide your medical history to allow him to make the best choice for your family

Dr. Costco felt I would have a really good chance of retreating eggs due to my age however he was wrong and we were not able to proceed to transfer. Moving forward he recommended we change my medication that was not equal to clarify to what degree my medication would be different

I was not able to move forward with a transfer due to my lack of viable embryos

My experience as a patient with Dr. Acacio was great! At the first consultation with him I felt like I knew him for so long. After he reviewed my history and told me what his plan was I automatically knew I was in great hands. He listened and answered all of my questions. I never felt uncomfortable or disappointed.

To be patient and ask all the questions necessary. To not worry because he/she will be in the best hands by the best Doctor

As previously explained, I felt like he was more so out for the money than my wellbeing. He pushed IvF out of the gate which I was concerned with given my history of chronic pelvic pain. Just didn’t feel like a priority.

Brian Acacio knows his stuff! I have previously seen three other doctors who don’t know answers to my questions but Dr Acacio always do. He never asked me what are you here for like previous doctors have done! I feel confident in my decision to use him for IVF!

He may seem “cocky “ but he deserves to be! He knows what he’s doing.

He is very understanding and tries to help you during the hard process. He ask for us to do several test before he could diagnose that my husband had low sperm count. He recommended IVF first but we cannot afford it.

Ask questions on what's the best option for you and your partner.

He recommended us to have an IVF he said that we only needed a little push. Since we couldn't afford IVF we had 2 rounds of IUI's with meds. Both of my IUI's we're unsuccessful.

My insurance doesn't cover anything. I have anthem blue Cross.

I haven't had an IVF. Wishing I had the money to have an IVF.

He is there for you and explains the process in detail. He tells you whats your best option for IVF. He suggests what vitamins you should take to help with your journey. He is very understanding and tries to help you.

That he also suffered from infertility. He will try to help you as much as possible

We did two rounds of IUIs with Letrozole and triggers, both failed cause my Endo, I had surgery right after! We did a short IVF protocol without Lupron

We have been with Dr Acacio and the team for a few years. He helped with our 1st miracle baby and now we are working on baby #2! Infertility is very personal, Dr Acacio has always made us feel comfortable, any question we had has always been answered, our end goal is his end goal for us.

Don’t hesitate asking any question

I went into fertility treatment with plans of becoming a single mother. Dr. Acacio supported my decision from the beginning and still continues to do so. He always showed confidence in my treatment and explained every test result and procedure in detail when every time I needed him to.

You will not see Dr. Acacio often unless you are doing a big procedure like IVF; however, he is available to answer any questions you may have. Do not hesitate to ask to meet with him.

For my IVF treatment I was placed on a few medications. For egg retrieval I was placed on various shots. Centrotide to prevent early ovulation, Lupron to trigger ovulation when ready, and menopur to stimulate follicles. Before and after egg transfer I was placed on Heparin shots and baby aspirin to increase blood flow. Estradiol valerate and estrogen shots to thicken my uterus. Matanx pills that contain vitamin B12 B6 and follicles acid because my body wouldn’t absorb follicles acid from prenatal vitamins. Taking prenatal vitamins as well. Was placed on lavothyroxin at beginning of treatment to lower thyroid levels.

My two IUIs costs about $8000 IVF costs about $25000 Maybe an additional couple of few thousand more

It was my choice weather it was one or two. I’m 37 so not sure if age was a factor. Wasn’t discussed.
