the times that we have met with the doctor [Dr. Channing Burks Chatmon], she has been pleasant and informative. he didn't, however, say anything or do anything that would suggest her feelings towards lgbtq couples in any way or disclose any training she's had as pertaining to lgbtq couples and potential parents...First attempt, which failed, was with 5 mg of letrozole and ovidrel trigger shot. Also had hysterscopy to remove polyps.
They [Fertility Centers of Illinois] weren't pushy about anything which we appreciated. It was comfortable. I appreciated that kids were not permitted to be in the clinic. Would love more lgbtq messaging...Don't really have any complaints. Communicated mostly through the portal...First attempt, which failed, was with 5 mg of letrozole and ovidrel trigger shot. Fertility Centers of Illinois (US Fertility Network clinic)
Dr. Burks was not the most empathetic...lacks accountability...forgot to call in medications for me in time and then refused to acknowledge her error...first frozen transfer, my estrogen was way too high (something I realized after I left her care) and I should've never been cleared to transfer...3 IUIs, 2 IVF retrievals...and 2 FETs (medicated and modified natural)
[Fertility Centers of Illinois] Definitely runs like a factory. It's huge...have so many locations and have times during the weekend...billing/insurance department is a nightmare unless you're dealing with the manager...River North location has nice advancements in technology.
How was your experience with Channing Burks Chatmon at Fertility Centers of Illinois (US Fertility Network clinic)?
Dr. Burks lacks accountability. When I was going through a spontaneous miscarriage she forgot to call in medications for me in time and then refused to acknowledge her error while I was in the greatest pain in my life. Also, my first frozen transfer, my estrogen was way too high (something I realized after I left her care) and I should've never been cleared to transfer. This wasted a perfectly healthy, euploid embryo.

Do your own research. She encouraged me NOT to do my own research which should've been a sign right there. Make sure your labs are in a good range yourself.

A very kind and compassionate nurse. There were times she wasn't very knowledgeable but she was always compassionate.
Describe your experience with Fertility Centers of Illinois (US Fertility Network clinic).
Definitely runs like a factory. It's huge but its nice that they have so many locations and have times during the weekend. Very convenient. Their billing/insurance department is a nightmare unless you're dealing with the manager. Also the River North location has nice advancements in technology. Some of the receptionists and phlebotemists in the suburban locations are amazing. The ones in River North aren't as amazing.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Fertility Centers of Illinois (US Fertility Network clinic).
The doctor failed to put in a perscription and the financial coordinator I was initially assigned completely dropped the ball resulting in a 3 MONTH delay. I had to be reassigned. Also, they created two charts for me by mistake which took months to sort out.
