We retrieved 26 eggs, 19 fertilized, and 10 made it to day 5 blastocyst [with Dr. Courtney Failor]...about to start prepping for my FET...is really sweet and understanding and makes sure you truly understand what is happening and does not move on until she knows you do not have any further questions...She is empathetic and informative and relays information very well. She is easy to contact and talk to and explains each step of the procedures and plans very well. The only negative is that the clinic is often busy so some of my appointments were very quick.
The only negative [at Aspire Fertility/RMA of Texas] is that the clinic is often busy so some of my appointments were very quick...We retrieved 26 eggs, 19 fertilized, and 10 made it to day 5 blastocyst...The nursing staff at Aspire Fertility San Antonio is amazing!! They are all so sweet and truly love what they do...they are always on time and quick to get to you. Even if they are behind they ensure they speak to you and let you know and get to you quickly. The only weakness is that their phone system is bad and it is difficult to reach them through the phone. Describe the protocols Courtney Failor used in your cycles at Aspire Fertility - San Antonio (Prelude Network clinic) and their degree of success.
With my GYN I tried clomid, and when I came to Dr. Failor she had stated after testing that IVF seemed to be my highest percentage of conceiving. First we had to have surgery for uterine polyps, then we began IVF. My dosage was low as she thought we would be successful on a low dose (due to being 26 with no sign of anovulation or dimished ovarian reserve). For my egg retrieval I was on Gonal F, Menopur, and ganirelix. We retrieved 26 eggs, 19 fertilized, and 10 made it to day 5 blastocyst. We were about to start prepping for my FET however due to coronavirus this has been postponed.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Courtney Failor at Aspire Fertility - San Antonio (Prelude Network clinic).
I loved Dr Failor. She was very gentle, never judgemental and always took the time to answer my questions when I didn’t exactly understand. She never tried to push me into any treatment when I wasn’t ready to start...Dr Failor always made me feel like an important patient. Always remembered me and was always considerate of my feelings
[Aspire Fertility] Strengths - overall very friendly, helpful clinic. Welcoming and always made me feel good about being in their care. Would always fit me in if I felt like I needed to be seen. Weakness - Communication with billing, and between staff and patients could be better but overall I never had a experience.

Describe the protocols Courtney Failor used in your cycles at Aspire Fertility - San Antonio (Prelude Network clinic) and their degree of success.
I did one cycle of invocell with dr Failor. I cannot remember the prescription names used but it was a low dose cycle. We used clomid, and stimmed for 9 days, I think. 8 eggs retrieved and inserted into invocell device. At removal we had 2 healthy embryos that we fresh transferred. And one embryo that didn’t grow past day 4. My transfer resulted in a positive pregnancy test, both embryos implanted but only one progressed. Had a healthy baby boy exactly 8 months to the date after transfer. Delivered early due to preeclampsia.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Aspire Fertility - San Antonio (Prelude Network clinic).
Can’t remember their names. I saw a lot of different nurses and they were mostly all understanding and gentle. They did sometimes make me feel like I was silly for not understanding things and took a littler longer than I’d like to get answers to calls and e-mails.

I paid 8k for one cycle of invocell not including some testing before cycle began, and pregnancy ultrasounds
Describe Courtney Failor's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Aspire Fertility - San Antonio (Prelude Network clinic).
I do wish we had discussed this topic more in depth. I did not want a multiple pregnancy but it was only discussed on the day of transfer how many we would want to transfer. I would have liked to have been told more in detail about the dangers of multiple embryo transfer before having to make that decision in somewhat of a hurry.

they [Aspire Fertility] don’t listen and take their own sweet time you are when you fit in. You are not a priority unless you pay cash .. even though you are paying cash to have the insurances , and you are going to go through a lot of procedures just to have ivf...They didn’t care I’m just another woman trying to have a baby and their bottom line is money .
How was your experience with Courtney Failor at Aspire Fertility - San Antonio (Prelude Network clinic)?
I had to go over my story with insurance with her staff and they still didn’t get it I started with them in feb got my appt in late March and then I became eligible another insurance right before a cycle and they wouldn’t do the cycle so I had to skip it . That was may 3rd so since it was so close to my cycle date they did nothing but kept me on esterace . On may 20th I sent an email asking if they had verified my insurance and got no not yet. I emailed may 31 st that my cycle started and they said well your Insurance hasn’t been verified to stay on esterace and we will try next cycle . So I sent an email to their coordinator and she says well sorry we went from internally doing benefits to someone or something else doing it and we pulled it today 06/02/2021 and your coordination of benefits isn’t set up (which I did the first day I got the insurances BECAUSE I work for an insurance company so I know whAt to do ) . Sorry is not enough for them not caring about something that means the world to someone else . I have been beyond patient I have wasted 4 months on them and I gave them all my tests all my Info so I didn’t have to re do anything and I am in the same place I started with nothing to even show for this time . It’s one thing to have a cycle stopped because of an issue but it’s a whole different type of feeling when it had nothing to do with me but their staff.
