Office staff [at Midwest Reproductive Center] is horrible. And they will make you feel misrable if you are a self pay. When calling to make an appoinment nine times out of ten you have to have them call you back and when they do almost all the time they don’t leave a message...[nurses are] Very caring and wanting to make sure that you understand everything...They were very through and wanted to make sure that I felt comfortable and that I understood everything

[Midwest Reproductive Center] Organized and always prepared for us. Never had to wait long in the lobby...NP, Lauren, listened to my concerns and made us feel at ease even during the difficult times....We live 3 hours away from the clinic. Lauren was always quick to respond to any patient portal messages and made us feel at ease at every visit....I only saw Dr. Gelbach once during a procedure. All other visits were with his NPs. ...out of pocket for iui's. A little under $1,000 each time.

They got to know me, and listened to me talk about my family...They seemed very interested in me and as eager as I was to find out the result of my treatment.

Payments are due up front then they [Midwest Reproductive Center] will file insurance and if services are covered you will receive a credit. ... Love the staff! The portal was confusing at first but they have updated it so it is more user friendly. We came prepared with questions and they didn’t disappoint us in answering them!

My husband and I absolutely loved Kim, who recently left MRC for another Fertility Clinic. She was fantastic and was the biggest reason why we chose MRC. Her and the other nurse we liked have both left in the past few months and their replacement has since argued with me and was super unprofessional during an embryo transfer. She did not pay attention during the procedure and I feel it could have negatively impacted the results...1000 for iui...17000 for ivf...Billing always went smoothly. The weakness is communication and the new nursing staff. The doctor should not have to learn about past conversations with nurses during the next appointment. It should be noted and communicated to him following the appointment.

This clinics [Midwest Reproductive Center] strength is the staff. So kind and compassionate. I've always felt cared for whether it was the nurses or doctors...You will see a lot of nurse practitioners...A weakness is communication. It is really hard to get a nurse on the phone. Not the front desk. I had the best luck with the online portal...Embryo transfers are $3,500 not including meds. Egg retrieval was around $15,000.

[Midwest Reproductive Center-Olathe's] Strength : opened during all times, communicates well, clean, lots of services available, experienced Weakness : some staff need sensitivity training, costs are pricey, needs success rates public, website needs updated... Some [of the nursing staff] were nicer than others. His NP, jonnie was not always sensitive to the nature of the situation and treated us like a number

Always take the amount of time that I need to have all my questions a answered.... Calm, careful, always respond quickly to my messages
