Dr Duffy was very patient, and listened to all of my fears. He researched the issues I was having and suggested some alternative treatments...We tried three IUI with ICSI, all producing negative results. We tried two IVF cycles with my eggs, the first resulted in a chemical pregnancy, the rest all negative. We tried donor egg once, all transfers had a negative result. We tried one donor embryo transfer which had a negative result.

Dr. Duffy made us feel welcomed to be there and let's us know that he was wishing us luck.Even before I got pregnant he would give me confidence. He did not treat us different because we are a same sex couple
I love the nursing staff [Florida Inst for Reproductive Med] they treated me like family they knew me and my partner name and would approach us like family... I only think the prices could be lower and give discounts to returning patients. I absolutely love this clinic and the staff. They may can upgrade the furniture but I do not have anything bad to say.The wait time is short and they also do procedure on the weekend

Dr. Duffy always made me feel important. My care and treatment were very individualized.... He was amazing! Throughout the process, I alway understood what to expect. When I became pregnant, he took extreme care to ensure success! I delivered healthy babies in 2009 and I truly believe it is because of him.... My clomid cycles were constantly monitored via ultrasound and if a cycle was unsuccessful, medication was adjusted.

I absolutely love him [Dr. Duffy]. You don't meet many doctors that sit down and not rush the process. If I say I'm not interested in that approach he accepts that. He's not pushy. We've went up and down the fertility ladder and I never felt pressured.
It's way too many nurses at the clinic [Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine] but they are very friendly... He [Dr. Duffy]is awesome!!! He actually listens to everything I say. I've covered so much with him to try to figure out what it could be.

Dr. Duffy spent a lot of our consultation getting to know my husband and I. He asked questions that weren’t related to our inability to conceive and made us feel like he was interested in us personally. At my appointments, he always explained things and broke them down for me to better understand. He is very knowledgeable and talks medically, but he really tries to explain it so you can understand.
You must do the online registration before getting an appointment [FL Ins Repro Med]. After you complete the registration they will call you to schedule an appointment. After that, the scheduling is really easy and it is easy to get in (at least for me with no work constraints). ... We began with 100 mg of clomid for 7 days. I had an 18mm follicle on day 12 so I did the trigger shot that night and went in for the IUI on day 14.
How was your experience with Daniel Duffy at Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine?
Dr. Duffy works hard to help you get pregnant. He tries to figure out what might be causing the issue and find the right treatment to help. After the trigger shot with the first IUI I developed a cyst. He explained everything and showed it to me on the ultrasound. I love that about him. He always includes me on what he is seeing on the screen. I decided to take birth control for 2 weeks to help the cyst shrink. I went back in for another ultrasound and it had shrunk. I will begin clomid on day 3 of my cycle and menopur on days 9-11. The first IUI with him was just clomid. So, this round he wanted to do a little more aggressive meds.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Daniel Duffy at Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine?
Understand that no treatment is 100%. He will work to figure out the problem, but there are so many unknowns, it’s hard for him to know exactly what the cause of your infertility is. But, he will keep assessing your situation in hopes to find it.

Honestly, my experience as a patient of Dr. Duffy's is fantastic. Anytime I had a question, he would not hesitate to answer it. When I had concerns he made sure that I felt comfortable before we moved on to the next topic, course of treatment, whatever the case may be. At one point, I was in severe pain and his schedule was booked, but he worked me into his schedule to make sure that I did not have OHSS. If we still lived in FL he would still be our doctor because I have not experienced anyone as passionate and caring as Dr. Duffy.

Scheduling is easy and there is more than one location. Price is beyond fair. Ultimately, I do not feel that there are any "weaknesses" with FIRM. They honestly care about their patients and what they are able to do for their patients. Perhaps my favorite thing about FIRM is that resources were always presented to me not only did the clinic tell me, but they also were able to show me the resources.

Dr. Duffy is the second doctor I’ve seen, but the only one to treat me not like a statistic. He has been up front about what to expect and has explained to me everything we’ve done so far...looked at the surgical notes...is and I appreciate his honesty...Schedule your appointment with him in The Tampa office, it’s worth the drive.
They [Brown Fertility] have multiple locations around the central Florida region. The doctors rotate but usually have one main clinic. They send a pdf version of a new patient form that is not user friendly at all...Everyone I’ve encountered has been extremely kind, and happy to help...I love how honest Dr. Duffy is
How was your experience with Daniel Duffy at Brown Fertility?
Dr. Duffy is compassionate and up front. The upfront part is extremely important to me because I am a very to the point person, I don’t like sugar coating or can be, could be or we will see. The previous clinic I went to took 6 months and 1 surgery to give me a ‘maybe’ diagnosis of endometriosis. Dr. Duffy looked at the surgical notes and did one ultrasound and stated that it was endometriosis “. I understand the need for most doctors to be absolutely sure, but there is no need to keep the patient in limbo. I love how honest Dr. Duffy is and I appreciate his honesty.
