I'm so glad that I found Neway and Dr. Kort. From the initial appointment, I appreciated his frank and caring manner. I really felt like he listened, and explained our options clearly and without high pressure. He explained our options and what he would recommend based on our goals and ages. He was a caring and thoughtful practitioner and explained why he recommended certain things or about steps in the IVF process. He was patient and created a good rapport with me and other patients and staff. I could tell he wanted successful outcomes and also was very honest about risk and what was best.

Ask all your questions and be honest about what your goals and any financial constraints are going into this.

After HSG was performed and no blockage found, based on my age and potential for unexplained infertility and/or possible PCOS, I prepared for an egg retrieval and then transfer of fertilized egg (by my partner's sperm) which is I think pretty classic IVF. I did injections to prepare for the retrieval and then a different set for transfer and first trimester.

The costs were reasonable. Early part of the process was confirming whether insurance covered any, some or all or up to what point. It's not cheap, but it was honestly handled somewhat better than with my current imaging/OBGYN for pregnancy.

I think Dr. Kort's approach is prudent regarding eSET.

Dr Kort is an excellent communicator who always makes himself available. Even though he sees so many patients he always made us feel like we were a priority. This means a lot, since trying to start a family feels like the most important thing in the world, and you want a Dr who makes you feel like he care about this life changing time too! Dr Kort is not only a great communicator but is empathetic, a good listener, and extremely knowledgeable in his field. I also loved that every time we went to Neway we got to see Dr Kort. He did all of my scans, both of my retrievals, and my transfer. Throughout the whole process I was treated as an individual; a human - and in turn this made me feel less anxious and more comfortable in the uncharted waters of infertility. While Dr Kort can't guarantee success, he set realistic expectations for us, explained every step of the process, and along the way answered our additional questions that popped up, and settled our anxieties when we felt uncertain. We could not have asked for a more wonderful Dr.

1.) The Neway portal is really outdated and hard to use. For example if a nurse sends a message in the portal, the patient cannot just respond to the message directly. The patient has to start a "new" message in the portal and so there is higher chances of miscommunication since both parties can't see a conversation thread. 2.) With egg/blostocyst results post-retrieval I think getting the news about results should happen by phone call (not waiting for a portal alert with encrypted message). There is so much emotion weighing on those results and patients are waiting with bated breath to find out, so a human element with these sorts of test results would be much appreciated!

Dr Kort helped us fight for coverage with our insurance for our first round of IVF. He even sent a personal email to a contact at our health insurance company stating why medically this was the approach we should take as a next step. Our second round of IVF we paid for out of pocket, however Dr Kort and the entire nursing staff really helped us out by assisting with getting us the most cost effective way to get the meds we needed (i.e. making sure we wouldn't have "waste" by calling in exactly what we needed, or when they had a few extra unused medications (leftover from other patients) giving us what they could to get us "started" and then we purchased the rest. It didn't save us a TON of money but it was certainly helpful since treatment is expensive).

I came to Dr. Kort on the recommendation of my very good friend who had a fantastic experience with him. I came with some baggage, so I'm not speaking in vacuum when I'm recommending him. I previously had experience with three other doctors, and for one reason or the other I couldn't trust my IVF process to them: one horribly mismanaged my IUI which resulted in an ectopic pregnancy, one never gave enough information. I found other doctors not as knowledgeable, or their attitude and communication style poor, and once a clinic - really I'm not exaggerating - mismanaged. First of all, the protocol (Mild IVF) recommended by Dr. Kort was perfect for me, and I did better than we expected. I previously considered IVF at Cornell and they were planning to do regular IVF hoping for the same results. I was happy to inject less and feel less bloated and tired. It was really quite painless. Second of all, we became pregnant on the first try. So their lab and their selection process is spot on. Out of two embryos they selected and transferred, one was our pregnancy. I didn't do genetic testing ahead of time, but my 12 week tests showed perfect genetic results. And third of all, it was easy to reach the doctor, I saw him often and he was a pleasure to communicate with.

Relax and trust the process. And know that this clinic is great value for your money.

I did mild IVF. I remember it was a mix of Clomid and several injections. I reached ovulation quite quickly on day 13. We used mild IVF instead of regular protocol due to my diminished ovarian reserve. He recommended fresh transfer as I was 41 and eager to get pregnant now.

We prepaid for one cycle of IVF, it was around $12,000. Preliminary consultation , monitoring blood work, ultrasounds and drugs which was partially covered by my insurance, it was additional $2,500. (roughly as I don't remember specifically)

Dr. had strong preference for 2 embyos transferred instead of one because of my age and general probability of getting pregnant in my case. He was right.

He is a very kind and professional doctor. We trusted that he was putting us on the right path and didn't rush us into unnecessary and expensive treatments without cause. It felt like he really cared about us and was rooting for us. He seemed knowledgable and skilled.

Ask lots of questions - there are no stupid questions. Be upfront with what you want and can afford and he'll take that into consideration.

We did 6 cycles of Clomid after over a year of unexplained infertility. From there he gave us the option to continue or move on to IUI or IVF - he recommended IVF, as he thought we'd be more successful. He never pushed us into it, but we chose to go for it when we were ready. We did one egg retrieval - including ICSI and genetic testing of the embryos. We did two embryo transfers, the second of which resulted in our current pregnancy.

About $10,000 for the IVF egg retrieval, each transfer was about $3000, and about $4000 worth of medications. The total cost was around $20,000

He recommended single embryo transfer based on our age.

Dr. Kort always made me feel comfortable and as relaxed as possible considering the stresses of infertility and IVF. He is both intelligent and consistently warm/comforting which can be hard to find. At Neway, your doctor always does the ultrasounds which is helpful because you can instantly ask questions and talk about any findings and implications/next steps/concerns. This differs from other clinics where there the technician performs an ultrasound and you often don't hear about next steps until later that day through an online portal. Dr Kort and his clinic's format is more hands-on, enabling patients to feel like they have more agency and a greater role in the process. Again, this differs from many other clinics which don't provide an explanation. Dr. Kort's approach invites doctor-patient engagement which is crucial during such an emotionally charged and financially costly experience.

Dr. Kort is very understanding-- you can share all your concerns with him without hesitation or feeling like you might be judged.

My diagnosis was tubal factor infertility (blocked tubes). We did 1 successful egg retrieval using folistim, menopur, cetrotide, and HCG trigger. For both (2) transfers, I was put on with Estrace & PIO. We did one trial/practice transfer to make sure there were no structural impediments. Then proceeded with 1st transfer which failed for no obvious reason. Dr. Kort presented several options for next steps. We decided to proceed with another transfer and it resulted in a pregnancy!

Dr. Kort provided the appropriate evidence-based response to our desire to transfer two embryos and pointed out the likelihood and potential risks of multiple pregnancies.

This was my first IVF treatment and I am so happy Daniel Kort was my doctor. From my first appointment I felt comfortable, and confident to go along with the procedure because of his optimistic personality, and how he explained the IVF treatment. Dr Kort is an amazing kind person that took his time to get to know me and my spouse with our difficulties with conceiving. I did not feel rushed during my treatment, he took his time to explain the whole IVF procedure ,and requested tests on my spouse and I to see what was going on. Dr Kort did my first egg retrieval, and my first frozen embryo transfer that resulted in a pregancy. I would highly recommend Dr Kort because he treated us with so much care. An advice I would give a patient would be I highly recommend Dr Kort I give him 10 stars. Best Dr ever!!!

The treatment strategies began by Dr Kort requesting test of my husband and I. I had ovarian cysts and Dr Kort before starting the IVF procedure requested that I have an examination to see what kind of cysts I had. He also had my husband have a semen analysis , we both had genetic testing, and I also had a thyroid test. The medications I had during my IVF cycle were Estrace PO 2 mg, Progesterone in Oil, Gonal F, Inject 225 units, Menopur 150 units, and Ganirelix Acetate 250 mcg. I had 22 eggs on my first egg retrieval, and a positive pregancy with my first frozen embryo transfer done by Dr Kort.

Each appointment was made by the staff according to my cycle, my schedule and to make sure the medication was working. Each appointment was well planned.

My insurance covered my IVF treatment and medication. We only had to pay copayments for each appointment visit .

Dr. Kort was the second fertility specialist we saw. At the first, we felt like we were being processed through a factory. Our experience with Dr. Kort and his office couldn't have been any more different: he and the entire staff immediately came to know us, our story, our goals, and our sensitivities. Dr. Kort always made himself available for meetings and phone calls to field our many questions and help us navigate this difficult process. Dr. Kort never let us lose sight of the bigger picture and always gave us comfort that the process would work for us.

Don't be shy about asking questions! Dr. Kort makes himself available at any time, for any length, to answer questions and help navigate this challenging process.

Our direct costs were (1) copays in connection with office visits/blood tests and (2) the costs of medicines not covered by insurance. We also elected to complete two forms of testing not covered by insurance.

Dr. Kort is kind, thorough, attentive, transparent, trustworthy, and took a lot of time to explain in thorough detail all of the options for my care. I never felt that I was getting a standard or "canned" answer, he always really thought about my question and my perspective and discussed the options with me considering me as a human being and not just a patient.

We started with clomid + IUI, after a year I agreed to do egg retrievals, initially we did ICSI transfers without additional testing, but after implanting an embryo that did not survive I then agreed to try PGS. We also did the ERA which determined I run 1 day behind, and then did a PGS-proven embryo transfer on day 7, which implanted and is now a healthy fetus.

The morning was so peaceful, such a change from my experiences in another clinic. Their waiting rooms are comfortable and they have multiple small waiting rooms so you're never sitting with too many other people. My 4 year old came with me and actually loved it there. Clean, bright, smells good, not a long wait.

My insurance covered these treatments and I paid co-pays and I paid outright for PGS and ERA

I used single embryo transfer which was my choice

Dr. Kort is enthusiastic about his profession and the well-being of his patients alike. He is thorough, knowledgable, and professional. As a patient, I always felt well taken care of and supported under his care. Dr. Kort is a clear communicator and establishes a sense of comfort and safety from the get-go. During appointments, he always explained exactly what he was doing step-by-step. He is warm, empathetic, knowledgable, and has an excellent bedside manner.

My partner and I did IUI for three cycles where I was taking letrozole x5 days, would take a trigger shot, and then do IUI 36 hours later. After the first unsuccessful cycle using 2.5mg of letrozole, Dr. Kort increased my dose to 5mg. I stayed on the same dose for cycles 2 and 3 without success. Before starting IVF, my partner and I tried naturally for one month due to insurance reasons. Leading up to the egg retrieval, I was taking Gonal f 225iu and Menopur 75iu on days 1-8, and Cetrotide 0.25mg on days 5-8. I took Leuprolide 80 u on day 9 and had the retrieval 36 hours later. We did a frozen transfer, so I took Estrace 2mg TID on days 1-18 after the retrieval. On day 19, Dr. Kort added Endometrin 100mg TID and progesterone in sesame 1mL IM q3days. This first transfer resulted in an intrauterine pregnancy.

I never felt that the monitoring window was too busy. There weren't long wait times, and the appointments moved along smoothly. If I was ever running late, Dr. Kort always made time to see me.

Dr. Kort urged us to do a single embryo transfer because he felt our chances of conception were high given my age and health history. He would have transferred two embryos if that's what my partner and I wanted, but he counseled us against it and educated us on the risks of a multiple pregnancy. He was also firm in not transferring more than two embryos at a time.

Dr. Kort is compassionate, kind, patient and thoughtful in his patient care. The things I value in a physician, but more specifically a RE, are knowledge/skill, availability/responsiveness, empathy, and being non-judgmental. Dr. Kort has all of these things.

Dr. Kort is great in that he doesn’t talk down to you. Ever. The only place this might leave a gap in knowledge is that he may assume you know more about your body and the reproductive system than you do. Don’t feel intimidated to ask the most basic questions if you need to. He is happy to fill in facts and information. I was embarrassed with how little I actually knew about my own reproductive system and how it worked, but he never made me feel self conscious about it.

For PCOS/endometriosis/annovation/ male factor: We started treatment with a low dose of leterozole and monitoring. 2 follicles matured that month but no pregnancy. Dr. Kort gave us the option to proceed with leterozole or IUI or IVF. Due to our timeline I chose to go straight to IVF. He did not push this decision. Because I had a case of OHSS after egg retrieval at my previous fertility center, Dr. Kort Recommended IVM. Neway is one of only a handful of centers that offers IVM for specific patients who may not be able to tolerate IVF. This treatment offered lower doses of medicine for a shorter number of days. We did stim meds for four days and a trigger shot. I had 28 eggs retrieved, and the embryologist was in touch every other day with an update on how the eggs were maturing. Eventually, after ICSI, we had three healthy embryos. I had a fast recovery from retrieval and no OHSS. I would absolutely choose IVM again in the future. Dr. Kort encouraged me to give my body a month long break after egg retrieval since I had so many mature follicles and my ovaries were swollen. This was not what I wanted to hear at the time, however, for my health and to give us the best chance at a successful embryo transfer he encouraged a conservative approach and rest. At the end of the month I came in for monitoring again expecting to start my frozen embryo transfer. Dr. Kort saw my ovaries had returned to normal but two follicles were ready to release naturally. He took bloodwork and sent me home to try to conceive on our own that week. Two weeks later I got a positive pregnancy test. I’m now 10 weeks pregnant and we feel great that we took the steps to help put our future dreams of our family in place. We will be seeing Dr. Kort again after this pregnancy, and I wouldn’t have changed anything about my course of treatment.

Monitoring hours were in the morning 7:30 to 10 am. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes and was usually in at 7:30 and out by 8:15 (bloodwork and ultrasound) to make it to work on time.

I think IVM including ICSI and genetic screening was around 14-16k. My medication thorough insurance was $175. The costs were clearly laid out ahead of time and there were no surprises along the way.

Dr. Kort encourages SET, however, it varies patient to patient. Given this was our first time with embryo transfer, and we had no real reason to think I couldn’t carry a pregnancy, he encouraged SET. Ultimately it was up to us, but we were coached on the risks of multiples before making a decision. I’d also note that we were counseled early about single vs double transfer and had time to discuss as a couple. We didnt have to make any quick decisions. Ultimately we ended up pregnant naturally before having to decide.

Dr. Kort was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. I always felt like I was the only patient and he was never rushed or impatient. Dr. Kort always explained everything very clearly and talked about next steps and expectations

Absolutely book in for a consult with Dr. Kort

I started with 1 cycle of hormone treatment with IUI, when this was unsuccessful (due to issues with me) Dr. Kort gave me the option for trying again or going straight to IVF. We opted for IVF and were successfully in pregnancy with twins who are due at the end of April!

Monitoring was very accommodating, easy to organise around my schedule. I even had a miscarriage scare and they allowed me to come in immediately and did an ultrasound to check my babies. They were always caring and accomodating, I never felt like a burden or like they didn’t have time for me

My insurance covered the bulk of the costs so I am not sure, but they did have a fantastic financial staff who helped liase with my insurance and get everything sorted out for me

We discussed at length the options for transfer of 1 vs. 2 embryos, we decided on 2 as this offered the best chance for success

Dr. Kort was excellent. I am in my late 30s and was considering freezing my eggs. I have a high pressure job wherein I am not in a position to have a child at the moment as I work/travel in insecure locations. Dr. Kort put me at ease and ensured that I got the results that I needed in the time frame I had available. Dr. Kort was available by email and I saw him throughout the egg freezing process. He was courteous and kind and I would use him again!

To be as honest as possible. Dr. Kort is non judgmental and will let you know directly the risks, but more importantly, the opportunities provided by egg freezing.

I did egg freezing. Dr. Kort gave me the prescription, taught me about the drugs and gave me tips on how to inject. Honestly, my procedure (extraction) was low stress and I retrieved a dozen eggs. I felt comfortable and confident throughout the process.

Morning monitoring was very easy. Nurses would call us in quickly and I rarely waited more than ten minutes. Morning sessions with Dr. Kort were organized, timely and painless.

Dr Daniel Kort was amazing. He did not pressure me into doing anything, which i felt is what most doctors are doing these days. He took an extra 30 minutes over my consultation time to answer my questions. He would call the pharmacy himself to make sure my medications went through, and he would call me every other day to check in on how I was feeling. He also would reply to my emails within the hour if I had any questions. He also has a great sense of humor. I was really impressed with him and his nurses. They also went out of their way to call me and check in on how I was doing. I really appreciated such gestures as this is clearly a very vulnerable process.

To be prepared to take time off in the morning to get blood work done and check ups! its an average of about five times in two weeks you will have to do this so allot that time for yourself before work (if you work).

Dr Kort and his nurses had me on an easy to follow protocol between check ups, blood work, and ultrasounds. It appeared I was on the normal cycle of injections, with firm and clear directions emailed to me every single day. I was able to produce 18 eggs, 8 of which passed to be frozen, and 3 they grew to term, for a total of 11 eggs frozen. I was very happy with the results.

It was $5000.00 out of pocket for the surgery and process. around $2000 for medications. and $600 annual storage.

We love absolutely everything about Doctor Kort and will recommend him to our best friends without the slightest hesitation. Dr. Kort presents information in a delicate manner, he has a "warm" bedside manner. As a patient, it is important for me to understand every detail of my treatment. We left each appointment with a clear understanding of what to expect next. His confidence, calm manner, and knowledge made us feel confident in what we are doing. We trust him100%. We highly recommend him and we continue seeing him. Dr. Kort is brilliant. We are lucky we found him.

Dr. Kort changed dosages when appropriate, performed a couple hysteroscopies to help clean up unwanted tissue to help with a more viable pregnancy.

It wasn’t easy finding the perfect fertility doctor and clinic, but if you’re reading this; you have. Dr Kort and Neway Fertility are the ideal combination of advanced technology and incredibly skilled doctors and assistants. On top of that, every single person who works there is genuinely nice! When my wife and I were looking for LGBTI friendly clinics, others showed up before this one, but they were ultimately more expensive, less technologically savvy and less personable. I could not recommend Dr. Kort and Neway more enthusiastically. In fact, I know that when we’re ready to expand our family, there isn’t anyone else I’d trust more.

We used IUI at first and after 3 attempts moved to mini IVF. We became pregnant with our first IVF 5 day fresh transfer. We transferred only one blastocyst, since a singleton was our preference. Our remaining blastocysts are banked with them for future use.

Dr. Kort took his time to answer all of my questions, and I never felt rushed when meeting with him. He listened carefully and provided answers to all of my questions. There were times where the rates of success were scary, and he used a lot of statistics and research when answering questions, but I really appreciated that.

He will answer all questions thoroughly, make sure you take great notes!

We started with a cycle in which we made sure everything was ok, and this included a saline infusion sonohysterogram. Dr. Kort used estrogen pills x3 a day and cited the risk of ovulating if less pills were used. He also preferred to use progesterone oil, intramuscular shots, and cited evidence that it was slightly more effective and easier to test in the body if anything were to go wrong. At 7 weeks, he allowed me to switch to progesterone vaginal inserts, stating that the body would also start producing progesterone around this time. There were 7 frozen embryos and we decided not to test them as I had a live birth that resulted from this cohort of embryos. The first frozen transfer failed. He wanted to use the same regimen, but I asked to lower the estrogen due to my sensitivity to medications and my knowledge that high levels of estrogen could impact cycles. He again explained why he preferred to use estrogen three times a day, but we lowered the estrogen to two due to my request. All other protocols remained the same and the second frozen embryo transfer was successful!

I am unable to remember components, but my insurance covered a lot of my treatment, and I had copays and limits that had to be met. I was always offered options for payment and was not forced to make payments same day, always being allowed to pay when I was ready. Overall, clinic costs were probably around 3k, due to my insurance coverage.

Dr. Kort had a preference for a single embryo transfer due to my history, but after the first failed frozen embryo transfer, he was open to transferring two embryos - while cautioning about risks. He was conservative and so was I.

Dr. Kort was always thoughtful, engaged, and present. He developed a plan specifically for me-- I was not just another patient with a one size fits all treatment. He was always attentive, sensitive, and followed at every turn himself. I could not have had a better experience.

my mini IVF cycle was $9,000

He was easy to talk to and clear. He was also always approachable and easy to get a hold of. I felt like I had the ability to reach him whenever I needed. I never felt like he was rushing during visits. He took his time to explain things to me and he always talked out loud as he did scans to let me know what he was seeing.

I used subQ injections to stimulate ovulation and then did IUI. Dr. Kort was clear from the beginning explaining his rationale for why we took this approach.

Dr. Kort was the best. A colleague recommended this clinic to me. I tend to be very nervous and ask a lot of questions, so it was important to me that I was being treated by a doctor that was caring, knowledgeable, and patient. I was happy that I saw him at every visit, and I rarely felt rushed. I didn't feel like a "number." After the egg retrieval process, Dr. Kort was more than happy to follow up with me to make sure that I was recovering properly. Going through the egg retrieval process the first time was pretty scary, but Dr. Kort made me feel safe.

Expect the nurses to do most of the communication (unless you email the doctor directly), and they can be hard to reach.

I strongly recommend getting IVF procedure from Dr. Kort! My first round of IVF was successful, and I am 10 weeks pregnant! Throughout the whole IVF procedure, Dr. Kort explained the whole process very well and he was very kind all the time. Even though I am not a native speaker, It didn't matter. He explained everything in an easy way to understand. He is the best!

My IVF procedure was covered by insurance, after getting authorization.

He prefers 'single embryo transfer', especially for PGS embryos.

After 3 failed cycles with another doctor at a different clinic, I am so happy I switched to Dr. Kort at Neway. He was extremely knowledgeble and always answered all of my questions and spent extra time making sure I was comfortable with my fertility plan. I can’t say enough about Dr Kort. He was so reassuring, kind and communicative. He knows how to tailor treatment to each individual and is always on top of the details! I always felt completely comfortable with him.

I am so happy with my experience with Dr. Kort. We started our fertility journey in January of 2024 and as of July 2024, we are expecting our first baby through IUI. In total, we did 3 IUIs with Neway and 1 resulted in a positive result, which we are thrilled with. Throughout the process, Dr. Kort made my husband and I feel very supported, was very clear with information and communication. He was always on-time and we had a great experience overall with him, his office and his team.

We did natural cycle monitoring for 3-4 cycles and then moved onto 3 IUIs (including Clomid pills for 5 days - we actually ended up reducing the amount of Clomid to take after the first cycle) as well as an Ovidrel injection (done at home). The IUIs were then conducted at Neway.

$10 copay per visit, everything else was covered by my insurance (Aetna POS Choice II)

I had a lot of worries about going to the fertility clinic, but he made me feel comfortable every time I went, so I was able to trust him and finish the process. Even if unexpected results came out in the middle, I was able to not worry too much with my trust in him.

He‘ll be the best doctor you will ever meet in the difficult infertility treatment process. Don't be afraid to ask him questions. He will do his best to support you with anything.

He chose a natural cycle in my ivf process. It eliminated having to take many unnecessary injections, and the side effects caused by hormones were minimal, so the process could be carried out comfortably without straining the body.

The price was reasonable as it was covered by insurance.

I was of the same opinion from the start, as I had been considering a single embryo transfer.
