I was impressed that she [Dr. Barbieri] was the one always doing my ultrasounds, my consultations and the followups. I cant think of anything that would be conspired a weakness, my experience with her was the best and all 3 times we did IVF I always had her as my doctor ... She was very warm and caring. She treated me as a friend and was very kind and loving

at the consult, she [Dr. Elizabeth Barbieri] will spend all the time needed to answer everything!...She was warm at all appointments and congratulated us multiple times at our prenatal appointments...Our treatment plan was very personalized from the beginning. She read up on my medical history prior to our consult and was ready with follow up questions for us. She thoroughly explain all options to us and answered any and all questions.

She [Dr. Elizabeth Barbieri] was very honest and committed to our success...She was not warm and fuzzy or overly enthusiastic, but she was very committed and we ended up with a beautiful baby girl. I am very grateful to her and would definitely recommend her to others experiencing age related or other forms of infertility... I was not producing the triple stripe required for successful implantation so Dr. Barbieri consulted with others in her practice and we ultimately added Viagra to my treatment (taken vaginally) and it worked the first time. it was kind of gross and frustrating but it worked.

She [Dr. Barbieri] took significant time, was honest and listened to what we wanted...was always very clear, concise, understand and explained everything fully. We never felt like we were rushed, or we were just another patient...she's very open to changing a plan if you aren't comfortable with what's being suggested...Agonist protocol, did not work due to poor egg quality.

Didn't feel like our care was individualized [with Dr. Barbieri] One transfer should probably not have moved forward...The facetime with the Doctor and specialists always felt a bit rushed. Diagnostically, I felt like our case wasn't handled on its own terms but rather as something to be run through an algorithm to produce the next course of action...was not open to receiving or entertaining new information to inform her practice even though my partner was reading current medical literature. Not a great listener, sort of waits to talk.

She [Dr Elizabeth Barbieri] used wonderful and humorous analogies to help explain. For example I am a teacher and she would create classroom examples to help me understand...She is clearly knowledgable and well educated. She shares expectations clearly and listens well to what our expectations are. She has a great sense of humor and speaks with confidence. I always felt good in her hands.

She [Dr. Barbieri at Oregon Reproductive Medicine] was very nice and explained things as she went. She did not explain what I would be feeling while taking certain meds....Did not get info on possible side effects from clomid. I developed a cyst from the med without prior knowledge of this side effect.

I would describe Dr. Barbieri's style as gentle but to-the-point...I feel that Dr. Barbieri was practical and would not have let me pursue something that had little chance of success.

[Dr. Elizabeth Barbieri is] Very direct and efficient but also compassionate. She always had a solution or a way to calm me down if I was nervous about something. Other nurses always praised her too which was nice to hear. We have been working with her for a year and she has always shown professionalism...She is going to be direct but also listen to your concerns. You will be in good hands.
