Once no one had called in my prescription, but this was easily fixed.

We waited over two weeks for our Genetic testing, results had been received yet not relayed to us. We had to keep calling. When you go through so much emotionally and have so many steps to wait for, (it is a constant waiting game from the moment your eggs start growing, to retrieval, to fertilisation, to embryo growth, then genetic testing -- the lack of communication with such important matters is a real let down and pushed our patience to the limit!

The nurse gave me bad information. I have heard from other patients that the nurses have provided mis information.

On one occasion a prescription was not sent into my pharmacy. However, it was an error in the computer and has never occurred since.

When we had decided to move forward with an IUI cycle, Dr. Hubert, unfortunately, was going to be away so he explained that Dr. Banuelos was going to actually do the IUI procedure. Fine, no problems! The nurse that step my meds was great with instructions and ordering the meds. I received them, took them went in for my checkup prior to the IUI. Dr. B told me that everything was looking good. He explained that I would need to be at the office sooner than we had anticipated. He asked that I go back 2 days later for another check up to see how my follicles were coming along but so far everything was looking good. I went for the second follow up with Dr. B in hopes that he would tell me when we could move forward with the actual IUI. He told me to go back the following day with my husband or my husband's sperm. I was given a kit for my husband's sperm sample. Perfect no problem! Well, here is where the plot thickens. As I am checking out of my appointment the nurse reviews my file then asks if my husband was going to be coming with me to the IUI appointment. I said no, he had to work so I would be driving in with his sample. (Mind you, I live 45 minutes away from Thousand Oaks). I was given specific instructions from Dr. B on how to bring my husband's sample. The nurse goes on to inform me that if I were to bring my husband's example I would need a form signed and it would need to be notarized. I asked why this form was never brought to my attention the last few weeks of treatment and the nurse could not answer. I believe this was on Sunday morning which greatly effected how I'd get a form notarized. I pleaded with the front desk nurse on allowing my husband to facetime and sign the document. (Which meant that he'd have to be near a printer, face time, sign, take a photo and text or email the photo of the forms back to me. They said no. What should have been an exciting appointment to leave was now completely ruined. I plumped my follicles up to their extreme I was so bloated for days and now I couldn't make this happen. there was no one I could turn to get the form notarized that day and if this procedure was to happen I would need to have the notarized form in my hand with my husband's sample early the next morning, (don't forget to include my 45 minute drive). I was livid. I 100% think that Dr. Hubert set the expectations with the procedure. I 100% think the nurse who ordered my meds broke down every instruction for me. At this point, I had paid for three visits (Dr. Hubert, 2 with Dr. B) and hundreds of dollars in meds. The front desk nurse had the Lead/Head nurse get involved and she was simply unapologetic as to how paperwork on their end was never completed with me. She was flat out rude, not compassionate, and cold. I literally felt like crying right then and there, instead, I left and drove my 45-minute drive in pure anger and confusion.
