My husband & I drive 2 hours to see Dr. Harris, who was recommended by a friend who struggled with infertility. We only have 1 local RE in our town, and after the consultation I refused to go back to him. My friend said nothing but good things about Dr. Harris, So I gave her a shot & I am sure glad I did. From the initial consultation, I could see how intelligent & caring Dr. Harris is. I am on month 3 of treatment with her. After my first failed month due to overstimulation, she immediately reduced my dose and gathered a plan that went perfect, just did not result in positive pregnancy. She is a fast talker but gives time for you to respond with any questions. I am so thankful for her & am encouraged that soon we will get our miracle baby. I will do anything that it takes.

Before visiting Dr. Harris, my OB tried 3 rounds of clomid-50mg, 100mg, and 150mg. All unsuccessful. Dr Harris started me out at letrozole 7.5mg but it unfortunately provided 4 large follicles. She only allows maximum of 3. So we unfortunately did not get to proceed due to the risks. So the following cycle she backed down my medicine to 5mg, I had 2 good size follicles, performed 10,000units Pregnyl Trigger shot, ovulation confirmed via progesterone blood draw. Took 200mg progesterone vaginally until i took blood pregnancy test which was negative. She said she was encouraged that I confirmed the ovulatation by blood draw, and we are going to try the exact same cycle this month. If it doesnt work she is going to proceed with HSG to evaluate my tubes.

Thankfully my insurance is set up as HRA so my work pays half. My part so far for intial consultation that included ultrasound was $170 My ultrasound follow-ups are $110. Trigger shot $99+shipping =$102 letrozole $6 at Kroger

I loved her, warm bed side manner, but also cery to the point of the conversation. She did often talk ery fast, making it hard to follow at times, but i have a medical background and kept up. My husband would struggle to keep up, but she always answered any questions we had.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. I had an ex lap to remove endometriomas and endometriosis. Started treatment directly after cycle 1 femara and timed intercourse poor response only 2 follicles no pregnancy low progesterone. Cycle 2 50mg clomid days 5-9 hcg trigger iui progesterone supplementation result 4 follicles no pregnancy adequate progesterone levels. Cycle 3 clomid 100mg days 5-10 hcg trigger iui progesterone supplements. 3 follicles Result no pregnancy adequate progesterone. Cycle 4 50mg clomid days 5-9 FSH injection on days 8 9 10 and 12 hcg trigger iui progesterone supplements. Result 5 follicles. No pregnancy adequate progesterone. At this point recommended ivf.

Iui 300. Ultrasounds seperate charge meds separate charge. Surgery was around 3000

Dr. Harris is a very fast talker. It sometimes was confusing what she was talking about and why she was talking about something. She did try to explain procedures thoroughly but since she talked so fast it was hard to keep up sometimes.

Ask if you can record the conversation because she talks fast!

We did letrozole, progesterone (vaginally), trigger shots, times intercourse, and a dye test. The letrozole was because my older age had me at “risk” of multiples with clomid so that “risk” was lessened on letrozole. Progesterone was given because my progesterone was too low. She redid the dye test to check if a blockage had developed. I did not conceive during this time.

I do not remember but I know it wasn’t as bad as Dr. Harper’s costs were.

She explains everything to its fullest, she's been eager to get me pregnant but my body isn't willing. She has tried everything under ivf but now ivf is my only option and I'm excited to do that. I have friends that go to her and have had successful pregnancies from her

She's a fast talker but if you don't understand something she will explain

I did hsg and it showed blocked tubes, she told me she thought she could open them in surgery, I did surgery which she removed endometriosis and cyst that were in my fingers and told me she got the dye through my tubes and we had a six month window so start trying immediately. The next 2 months I was on femera 2.5 then up to 5 mg. When I was still getting negatives we combined clomid with femera and went in for ultrasounds along with trigger shot. 5 months later tried iui and it didn't work so after that we done another hsg and it shows blocked tubes.

I don't remember exact cost, I do have insurance so I paid my deductible and the surgery with all included was about a grand, the iui was 300 clomid was 35 the injection was 100

We were unsure of Dr. Harris in our first visit because she is a little quirky. However, we could tell right away how knowledgeable she is and how dedicated she is to what she does. We quickly warmed up to each other. She has always treated us with kindness, compassion, and respect. We trust her completely.

To give her beyond one visit...she can come across as very blunt and a little quirky the first time you meet her, but she quickly warms up and is one of the best doctors...if any speciality...that I've ever seen.

Low AMH=clomid. Developed cyst, wouldn't go away=cyst removal. Femara for one cycle. 1/2 Femara and 1/2 follistim for the next to up egg production (without hyperstimulating). Developed 2 cysts. Birth control for 2 weeks and then rescan before starting cycle on follistim. Trigger shot used each time.

$40 copay for visits. $300 for IUI. Trigger shots ($100) and follistim from Barron Pharmacy. Clomid and Femara covered through insurance.

Dr. Harris is forthcoming, knowledgeable, and fast paced. It's hard to keep up with her while she's speaking but if you can, you will learn a ton. She's very willing to give you all the information she can and increase your knowledge and understanding of the process, medications, risks, alternatives. Sometimes she does gods over things and if you don't ask for further explanation she will move right along. I've heard her described as being aggressive in treatment, but I'll I've experienced is doing the exact same thing over and over.

Bring a notebook, ask questions, try to deal with Dr. Harris and Darlene, not the rest of the nursing staff.

We used ovulation induction, mid cycle monitoring by ultrasound and timed intercourse. Ovulation was usually inducted by a round of femara and an HCG trigger shot. The rationale was that lack of ovulation seemed to be my biggest hindrance, due to PCOS. I ovulated each cycle but no pregnancy. We then had a HSG scan performed which revealed a blocked Fallopian tube.

Dr. Harris was SO SMART and I trusted her completely. She did exactly as she said, diagnosed my issues correctly and got me pregnant (I delivered a healthy baby girl). My only issue with her was that I rarely understood what she was talking about and she wasn’t great at using layman’s terms with me.

Make sure you understand what the treatment plan is and don’t be afraid to ask questions if she’s spoken too fast or with complicated terms you didn’t quite understand.

I had surgery to remove uterine fibroids (never caught be my OB-GYN where I had tried two rounds of Clomid with no ovulation due to my PCOS). After surgery, we did two rounds of Femara with an HCG trigger shot and timed intercourse (first round I DID ovulate, but no pregnancy, the second round was successful and ended in a healthy pregnancy and baby).

I paid out of pocket completely for my last cycle. With tests, medications, ultrasounds, etc. I paid about $500.

Terrible communicator. Did not explain things on a “normal patient” level. You should know most general stuff going in or you will be made to feel stupid. Zero compassion. Treated like a number - very hurtful. Definitely made a hard situation even harder, especially mentally.

Take a notebook. Write EVERYTHING down. Ask questions. Do NOT hesitate to call and ask more.

Very descriptive, even throughout and during procedures. Explains what she is doing and why. She generally talks fast but doesn’t mind to slow things down when asked. I feel she truly wants you to understand the experience and what your body goes through.

Ask questions. She does talk fast but will slowly communicate anything with you.

While I don’t remember exact costs, I do know that Dr Harris charges way less than most other doctors. I don’t think she is a doctor that is in it just for the money.
