The clinic did have some minor staffing issues during Covid times, but overall most of my appointments were on time. They don’t have a lab at the East Lansing office so all blood work has to be drawn before 10:30 am and then it is shipped to the lab at the Bloomfield hills office and results come back later in the day.

When you step into the lobby you are greeted to an area that is calming and relaxing. It is a smaller office but each room is private. They have conference rooms where you can talk with a nurse about your med protocol. The exam rooms were spacious, clean and full of natural light. The doctors’ offices are a good size when you have your consultations with your doctor. When you go for labs the area is clean and in a section of the office where you will have privacy.

This clinic as a total is very organized and well put together. Staff is amazing at both the locations we went to (East Lansing and Bloomfield). Doctors are super knowledgeable and informative. They provide you with all the information you need to make informed decisions on your fertility and can easily change the plan safely is things change.

The East Lansing office is like family. They are organized, caring, communicative, and always there when you need them. The only thing I didn't like about the office was the billing statements. They are not very user friendly and are hard to read. But if you call and speak to billing they are really good at going over them with you to help understand.

Strengths- they inform you of what you need to do and when. They are always helpful at getting an answer to questions as they arise. Weakness- they were understaffed and unable to go over pricing, being someone who’s done medical billing I know quite a bit however it took a week from the initial consult to get prices on treatment options when you can tell it’s a very standard pricing sheet for out of pocket. This was received in an email. Wasn’t anything that seemed too difficult when we were told that the biller didn’t have time during our initial consult to meet with us and frankly that was a majority of my questions. Computer systems were down and they asked that we call back later, I understand but this was to my husband that has TBI and so it set his sample testing back a month by the time he called back that was the first opening. Delays in the process due to scheduling from a staffing standpoint. 1st available appts were always at least a month out.

The clinic is very helpful, answers any questions, anytime. I have never felt like an inconvenience. I use the nurses email frequently for non urgent questions. I wish they had a patient portal for you to see blood work and results.

Strengths of the clinic would be friendliness, office space, patience of both the doctor and nurses, knowledgeable doctor, good bedside manner, willing to be flexible Weaknesses would be office hours that are difficult to work around while working, wait times, and that the front desk staff can be stand-offish at times.

The doctor was horrid, the nursing staff felt judgmental and slow and the billing department screwed the billing up and never sent records. Overall this was a horrible facility to work through, and i wouldn't send my worst enemy to IVF michigan let alone a friend.

They batch all patients to meet their schedule for transfer. No individual treatment. They are more about the money the clinic makes than the patients hope to have a family. They only accept patients that will enhance their scores positively.

The office was clean and nicely decorated. I never had to wait very long for any appointments. My only complaint is there is a door between the waiting room and treatment area that does not do the best job blocking out noise. While waiting, I could hear everything other patients and the drs and nurses were saying.

I don’t think there is a particular weakness of this clinic. I just think a new patient needs to understand that this process is normally not quick & it does require that you need to be an advocate for yourself. This is a process where you need to do your research & understand your own medical history.

Upfront, easy to get into contact with and very caring. They have conveyed that they are here for us through this entire process. One weakness would be that sometime lab results take a long time to get.

I do not have anything bad to say about them. EVERYONE was wonderful and accommodating. They definitely care about their patients. Even do follow up calls to see how the pregnancy and birth went. We received a lovely card and a onesie for our baby as well as them inviting us back to see the baby.

Reception and sign in was quick. It took 30 seconds to realize I needed to sign in on the clipboard instead of speaking to the reception staff, the sign stating that could have been a little clearer. Overall it was quick and friendly.

Billing is a bit tough to get ahold of and they don’t respond to voicemails. We requested information numerous times and no one called us back. It took until our next appt to ask our questions. As well we were over billed $1000 originally.
