Dr. Melnick was there to make money. Initially, I didn’t feel this way. However, at my last visit he lied about my bloodwork to sell me vitamins that I didn’t need and attempted to inject me with Vitamin B12, insisting I needed regular shots as I was “dangerously low.” I refused and got a second opinion within a week - no issue with my B12. When I wanted my records, I was refused multiple times. This was three years ago and I’m still shaken by this interaction.
I was refused my records [from Advanced Fertility Services] when transferring clinics multiple times. First I was told they wouldn’t email them, then that they would mail them (I lived in the neighborhood and didn’t receive them) I ended up sitting in the waiting room for over an hour while they agreed to photocopy them. I received two pages of my many years there. Completely bizarre.

Dr. Melnick showed little to no interest in me (or other patients) for example, he called another patient while I was in the room to inform her she wasn’t pregnant. He also attempted to sell me vitamins from his business that I didn’t need.

I was there for diagnosis and treatment of PCOS and hypothyroidism, not yet trying to conceive. I was given Armour-Thyroid and Spironactone. I had no issues with these treatments.
