Dr. Woo has been very nurturing during this process. She has helped me understand my body and possible reasons why I can’t conceive naturally. She is always so reassuring during the process and always explains the process in detail so I never leave with any questions... My first cycle I took clomid 50mg twice a day between days 2-5 and another 50 mg once a day from days 7-12. I triggered with the ovidrel trigger shot and had my iui 36 hours after I triggered...
All of the nursing staff [at California Center for Reproductive Health] are great. They help me with any questions I have from medication to pricing...The clinic is great about communicating. They are very helpful and welcoming. I have had no issues with the staff here...Each office visit cost 250$. I need 2-3 depending on my follicle scans. The iui is 521$ Clomid is roughly 30-40$ and my trigger shot is 233$ all costs are paid out of pocket...

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Have only done two rounds of IUI [with Dr. Irene Woo] ; the first was using the standard clomid; estrogen was added to bulk my lining, and as the first IUI was successful we followed the same protocol for the second IUI. Unfortunately the second one was not successful;...was engaged with us during every appointment, immediately accessible by phone if necessary, and took the time to call us personally when we had rising hcg levels after our first IUI and then again when she learned that the baby had died.
[The nursing staff at California Center for Reproductive Health are] Friendly, helpful, respectful...The clinic is clean, private, and quiet. Couches in waiting room are not very comfortable. Would also have appreciated a follow up call after our treatment cycle; not sure if that was an oversight or a protocol...Have only done two rounds of IUI; the first was using the standard clomid; estrogen was added to bulk my lining, and as the first IUI was successful we followed the same protocol for the second IUI. Unfortunately the second one was not successful; still haven’t started round 3 but hope to soon.
