Unsuccessful
She [Dr. Kennedy] spent our consultation reviewing all the potential infertility possibilities in great depth. This was overwhelming and in the end only our diagnosis was relevant so time wasted. She did most of the talking and didn’t save much time for us to ask questions.... No monitoring or follow up. She provided a report for our chances/odds of IVF and IUI but the personal information/data she used was not accurate. We felt she was only interested in working with us if we did IVF.
The scheduling staff [Seattle Reproductive Medicine] was unorganized and we experienced long waits and even saw others turned away from scheduling errors. The nurses were great in all aspects. The patient portal was very user-friendly.... We waited over and hour for our appointment because the prior appointment was incorrectly scheduled as a short time slot for a follow up rather than new patient.... [nurse] is highly knowledgeable and provided detailed feedback/explanations that were easily understood.
How was your experience with Janet Kennedy (retired) at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
She spent our consultation reviewing all the potential infertility possibilities in great depth. This was overwhelming and in the end only our diagnosis was relevant so time wasted. She did most of the talking and didn’t save much time for us to ask questions. During my AFC scam she announced she wasn’t finding any follicles, which was extremely upsetting, and then after a bit more searching she found them. She preformed this year mid-cycle, which I’ve since learned is not the best time for this test/scan. Once diagnosed with DOR, she pushed for us to go straight to IVF with no other options provided. When we expressed that we were not ready to go straight to IVF and asked what other options we have. Dr. Kennedy said, “well I guess you could do Letrozole with timed intercourse.” No monitoring or follow up. She provided a report for our chances/odds of IVF and IUI but the personal information/data she used was not accurate. We felt she was only interested in working with us if we did IVF. Since seeing her, I’ve been retested (1 year later) and all numbers are slightly better. My OAR ERS is 10 (fair 6-10, good 11-15), AMH 1.12, FSH 6.56 at age 33.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
We waited over and hour for our appointment because the prior appointment was incorrectly scheduled as a short time slot for a follow up rather than new patient. Whitenessed a woman be turned away because she supposedly, “wasn’t on the schedule.” Most of my complaints have been detailed in other comment sections of this survey.
