We probably met with Dr. Jensen about 3 times throughout the process, she was professional, courteous, explained the process well, and very nice to us. She answered all our questions. When we had issues with the clinic, she addressed them right away...gives a lot of information about the process. Ask as many questions as you want and she answers to the best of her knowledge. She is encouraging and gave us time to process how we wanted to proceed.
The front office staff [at Reproductive Medicine & Infertility Associates] is rude. Even when you call they are abrupt and when you try to further get clarification or answers. They lack empathy...The visits felt cold and felt like we were being moved through a factory processing line. They made multiple errors in scheduling, sending us the right information, mixing up my history information. We had to be on top of calling and sending emails and addressing issues.

Describe your experience with the nursing staff at Reproductive Medicine & Infertility Associates.
I think the best nurse we had was on the day of transfer who was very personable, kind, helped explained the process well. Other than that, for me and our surrogate, it was not a good experience. The best way for me to say it is they lack empathy. They don't explain clinical information. The visits felt cold and felt like we were being moved through a factory processing line. They made multiple errors in scheduling, sending us the right information, mixing up my history information. We had to be on top of calling and sending emails and addressing issues. It was exhausting.
The last call I had with them was with someone named Teresa (?), after I had a phone call with their staff Nicole, who talked over me when I questioned why they failed again to coordinate care with my OB. I had an appointment and none of my records had been sent. I literally cried on the phone because I was so frustrated. Teresa got on the phone and response to me "I'm going to let you go now". Another time, they forgot to draw all the labs we needed and so we had to go back and do another one. They apologized but the errors continued even after that.
Describe your experience with Reproductive Medicine & Infertility Associates.
The front office staff is rude. Even when you call they are abrupt and when you try to further get clarification or answers. They lack empathy- I said to them more than once, that this process is extremely difficult, emotional, and expensive, and frustrating when they make so many errors it adds to the stress. Nothing changed. We almost switched to a different clinic even though we were close to a transfer date but they had someone in management call us and said they would work with us and convinced us to stay. That is how horrible the experience was. At the end of the day, I wish I had left because the memories of this experience will stay with me. it was horrid.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at Reproductive Medicine & Infertility Associates.
I'll focus on the last phone call. After we confirmed pregnancy, they informed us they would send medical records to my OBs office. On the day of the appt, the OB office called and said they did not receive it. I called the office and the front desk person Nicole was rude. I explained the situation to her, she asked me for all the ob information again. She asked for the fax number which I did not have and I requested that she check the records since the information had already been provided. She continued to repeat herself that I needed to give her a fax number. I became frustrated. I asked for her name but she kept saying I needed to give her a fax number, I eventually asked for a supervsor. I beleive the surpersor's name is Teresa, who then said they had already faxed it but would fax it again and she did not need the fax number from me. That's all Nicole needed to say and find away to resolve their lack of coordination. I told them at this point that I felt extremely exhausted and frustrated with their lack of coordination of care and that Nicole response and her robotic response that she needed a fax number from me (the patient) was unprofessional and unkind. Teresa's response to me was "I'll address it, I'll let you go now". Patient care at this clinic is Horrendous. I also have multiple emails of us going back and forth where they made errors and kept apologizing. It got so bad I told the doctor I was afraid they would make an error in the lab and use the wrong embryo.
