I was very emotional and sensitive during the process and Dr. Aly picked up on it. She explained everything thoughtfully and answered all my questions with detail. For the big moments (for me, the trigger shot and retrieval), she called to check in and explained next steps as well as providing reassurance. She was clear with instructions and a plan which was appreciated given that this is a life changing experience.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Jasmine Aly at New Jersey Fertility Clinics (CCRM/IRMS Facilities)?
I would make sure you have good communication with the nurse coordinator- and ask for a new one if you don’t. The doctor was great.

Dr. Aly understood my anxiety, was relatable, was sensitive in relaying information and treated me like a human being. I appreciated the sensitivity given that egg freezing is a life changing procedure.
Describe your experience with your nurse at New Jersey Fertility Clinics (CCRM/IRMS Facilities). (Assigned nurse: Milany Lorenzano)
The nursing coordinator was responsible for relaying information regarding medication adjustments based on blood work and ultrasound. Throughout the process, she called me three times from nov 1-nov 13 to explain detailed procedures. I’m also a doctor and when I was unable to answer the phone since I was at work, instead of having me call back she left 5 minute voicemails with medication instruction injections. She also sent sensitive information regarding the number of eggs retrieved through a portal message instead of calling which was the most appalling and in my opinion, lacking sensitivity to such an important matter. When I mentioned that I preferred phone calls about such sensitive information, instead of a sincere apology- she again messaged on the portal and said apologies, noted. The lack of empathy was unreal, especially as I’m a doctor myself and I couldn’t believe how such a sensitive matter was being handled.
