Dr. Turocy answered all my questions and made me feel calm in an overwhelming time. She went on vacation during my retrieval and still checked in on me, to make sure I was okay. I think she could sense how nervous I was. I felt heard as well which is very important...I felt like a human because I had a lot of questions and was very nervous about all the procedures. I felt like she calmly answered my questions and gave me all the information that I needed, which at times was overwhelming but also relaxed me to know step by step what was happening.
They [Columbia University nursing staff] were all so kind and excited about my journey. I am a “hard stick” and they were so nice to me...It was nice to go to an appointment at 7am. They were understanding of my work hours and made appointments based on that. Most days everything went quick, but at times there was a wait, more so for the procedures than the ultrasounds...Dr. Turocy answered all my questions and made me feel calm in an overwhelming time.

She's [Dr. Jenna Turocy] very efficient and gets to the point. Very clear at giving instructions and had great bed side manners. Would of enjoyed seeing her more often during my treatment and explain things in person versus email...She was patient, thoughtful and compassionate...I was prescribed metformin 1,200 mg to help to get pregnant. In addition, I took Letrazole before ovulation (2 tablets 2.5mg in total 5mg) was instructed to have sex and was inseminated.
[Columbia University was] Very organized and great at communication skills. They were sweet and kind and explained everything in great detail. No weaknesses that I encountered everyone was great from the nurses, women taking blood and receptionist...[nurse was] She was absolutely excellent (clear, precise and detailed oriented when giving instructions. Was great at responding to emails as well.
