Jerome Check

[Dr. Jerome Check] specialized in premature ovarian failure and he was one that looked at my numbers and didnt go right to donor eggs. He actually gave me hope and faith in conceiving and actually knew how to treat this terrible disease...Ethinyl estrodial which tremendously reduces my fsh and adjusted my hormones so that I would ovulate! Once my numbers got down they would put me on clomid or menopur or follistim injections to grow my follicles and then hcg trigger to release the egg.

Dr. Check can seem like an oddball. He is socially awkward and very brainy, but the care that I received at Cooper was wonderful. The nurses took time with me and never made the feel rushed. Everyone was warm and accommodating. Dr. Check was committed to finding out what was wrong and fixing it. If something was unsuccessful, it was evaluated and a new plan of action was created. I felt like everything was explained to me in a digestible manner.

He [Dr. Jerome Check] knows exactly what he’s doing and has a lot of experience and knowledge. He’s willing to try methods that other clinics may not be willing to try. I felt as if he was really invested in my successful outcome. At the same time, he’s not selling u realistic dreams and advises of various outcomes and methods that would work best depending on your situation. I felt very confident that I would end up successful at his practice.

Their computer system accidentally cancelled my appt. and thus I showed up as a surprise to them. Rather than rescheduling, the doctor [Dr. Check] still saw me and I had a full 2 hour work up and consult...I'm too early in to make a very clear statement but to date he has been very helpful. He has good bedside manner, is knowledgeable and caring. I liked that he was willing to think outside the box and come up with multiple options for moving forward rather than just one.

He [Dr. Jerome Check] will transfer multiple embryos. He likes day 2 or 3 fresh transfers...he spends a lot of time educating you and seems to care...When he did my pelvic exam and also a pap test, I was alone in the exam room with him and didn't feel very comfortable. There wasn't a nurse with us which I felt was very strange. I would request that if you see him...He uses low dose injectable meds.

Doctor Jerome was compassionate and very understanding of my health and financial situation. But I wish he can communicate more clearly and look at risk factors more closely for each patient. I had success with him but since I was doing natural cycle, he should have looked more closely into my tubes and encouraged me for an HSG...All of my cycles I used ethinyl estradiol and provera/prometrium and regular monitoring. That is due to my high FSH. The cycles I ovulated they put me on Lupron shot progestrone and estrogen in the Luetal phase.

He [Dr. Jerome Check] listened to my whole story, celebrated the good and made note of the bad. Was willing to try alternative treatments. And shared notes from each visit with me...He made both my husband and I feel very comfortable and that each step is necessary and normal. He stayed after hours to discuss treatment and even consulted with me over the phone after I gave birth...Adderall to treat inflammation. Synthroid to treat hypothyroid. letrozole, ovidrel, and IUI. Progesterone starting right after ovulation

Adored Dr. Check. Treated like a human being. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. He was extremely welcoming...He is very analytical and appreciates a reciprocal effort if you do your homework beforehand. He answered all of my questions in detail...Adored Dr. Jerome Check, took a very personal approach, took time to assess and plan a course of action. Was available anytime to discuss my case.

[Dr. Jerome Check] took his time and showed research as to why my tubes needed to be removed as to just recommending them to be removed...makes me feel like he's going to try his hardest to make sure that I have a baby...very thorough and comforting and understanding and explained everything...very optimistic about my chances and it made me feel comforted in hopeful again...

The first appointment [with Dr. Check] was just a consultation but I ended up getting so much done and even a diagnosis...I was diagnosed with Endometriosis and he prescribed me medicine to help with it. He prescribed me thyroid medicine for hyperthyroidism. My progesterone was low so I am on progesterone. Monitored me very closely. It is possible that my egg is not releasing so if pregnancy wasn't achieved this month I will have hcg injection next month...He took time with me and listened. He ran tests that I hadn't had done by another doctor and explained things well. He gave me a lot of research he had done on a drug that would help my endometriosis which made me feel well informed!

[Dr. Check] was very through and explained everything. Every visit was a good experience and I didnt feel like a number. It was a bit if a drive for me but worth the trip. I would reccommend his practice to others suffering from infertility like I am.... He was my 3rd doctor who told me I have PCOS.
