He [Dr. John Park] conveyed genuine concern for our fertility struggles. After the treatment, he personally followed up with us to congratulate us on the pregnancy...Dr. Park was very straight forward with us. Once he established our fertility problem, he was able to explain the situation, and what would happen on a level we could understand. He was always willing to answer questions for us.
Michele Medlin [nurse at Carolina Conceptions] was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and concerns. Doing IVF is overwhelming with all the injections and medications. She was able to comfort my worries...The IVF cycle itself was about $9000. This did not include medication...They are very understanding to the flexible scheduling needs of not only IVF patients, but out of town patients like myself. Everyone in the clinic was always extremely friendly.

He conveyed genuine concern for our fertility struggles. After the treatment, he personally followed up with us to congratulate us on the pregnancy
Describe the protocols John Park used in your cycles at Carolina Conceptions and their degree of success.
We had previously done several rounds of IUI. Based on my AMA results, he suggested an aggressive approached IVF cycle. I was not producing enough eggs and I was also not producing quality eggs. He told me that based on my AMA levels, we should expect 8-10 eggs to be retrieved, and he was right on the dot!
Describe your experience with your nurse at Carolina Conceptions. (Assigned nurse: Michele Medlin)
Michele Medlin was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and concerns. Doing IVF is overwhelming with all the injections and medications. She was able to comfort my worries.
Describe your experience with Carolina Conceptions.
They are very understanding to the flexible scheduling needs of not only IVF patients, but out of town patients like myself. Everyone in the clinic was always extremely friendly.

Dr. Park is the best doctor I've ever had. He was very honest with me and my wife when it came down to my fertility issues. He performed my surgery in April 2015 to open my tubes and was successful. I wish sometimes he was more than one person because the other Drs there are not as friendly and knowledgeable as he is.... I can't remember all the details but I took a pill for 5 days, had Ovidrel the night before, and then was inseminated the next day.
[Carolina Conceptions is] Very clean and front office staff are very friendly. The only weakness I can think of is Dr. Park is super busy and can't always be in 4 places at once so there are other Drs there who fill in for him time to time.... They [the nursing staff] are all extremely nice and very caring people.

To listen to everything he says and don't be afraid to ask questions. He never seems rushed or in a hurry to move onto the next patient and he values one-on-one time with all his patients.

Dr. Park was very honest and caring about my needs and my wife's needs.

I can't remember all the details but I took a pill for 5 days, had Ovidrel the night before, and then was inseminated the next day.

After hearing our history Dr. Park recommended injections as the next step. Due to insurance we started with timed intercourse. It failed. We had to take breaks due to cysts but ended up trying 2 iui's which failed. We then stopped at treatment.

I truly believe that Dr. Park cares...My husband and I had IVF with ICSI done. I was on many different fertility medications and injections for egg production. Upon retrieval I had 9 eggs retrieved and out of the 9 I had three embryos. The two best embryos were transferred and the third is currently being stored at Carolina Conceptions.
Monitoring visits [at Carolina Conceptions] were a breeze. I never had to wait when I went in for monitoring and was never there more than 10 minutes...Nursing staff was nice but could be a little more organized...From the moment I walked through the door I have felt welcome. Dr. Park was very nice. He explained everything in detail and never made you feel like you were an inconvenience when asking multiple questions. He took the time to show diagrams to help explain things as well. He listened to all fears and concerns. I would definitely go back and see Dr. Park again!!... Carolina Conceptions works as a team, so even though Dr. Park is your primary physician, you won't only be cared for by him. The other physicians will also take part in your care.
