Dr. Lovely has this way about her to really make you feel seen, important, and cared for. She had the same goal we did and that was to get pregnant. When things didn’t go as expected, she instantly took me under her wing and was with us every step of the way. She was easy to reach whenever I needed and always knew the right thing to say. She preformed my first surgery ever in my life. She really made me feel like family and cared for. We love Dr.Lovely!

Not really advice, just know that you can trust her. I wish I could keep her as my doctor forever!

Dr. Lovely preformed my second IUI. She wasn’t my “original” doctor. However when she gave us the news of no heartbeat, she instantly took us under her wing. She put multiple plans in place for us to choose from and didn’t pressure us to have a D&C immediately. I appreciated the options she gave us because in the end, she made me feel safe having the surgery done with her.

We paid for a total of 6 IUIs and each one with medication would come to about $1,500-$2,000 We also paid for an IVF procedure with FET, medications, and PGT testing which totaled to about $30,000

I enjoyed Dr. Lovely and I would certainly recommend her. I appreciated that she was honest about my husbands ability to conceive and supported our decision to use a sperm donor. I did also see other doctors when getting my IUI, and I would have liked to have clear expectations for aftercare. We stopped at 2 IUI and the clinic said they usually do 4. We unfortunately could not afford more.

Nothing new. Definitely be prepared to ask questions and be clear of your own plans as well.

Took letrozole for days 3-7 of my cycle, then take OPK from day 10-12 and trigger shot used prior to timed IUI. First cycle I did 2 back to back inseminations, and the second cycle was 1 insemination.

I don't remember but I was disappointed that they didn't offer packages for IUI. I do not have insurance that covers IUI so it was solely out of pocket and they only offered packages for IVF treatments.

Dr. Lovely is wonderful. She has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've worked with. She is so patient and takes the time to explain procedures in a way that didn't leave us feeling patronized. I was able to email her and she always patiently responded to my neurotic questions.

Dr. Lovely is wonderful. It doesn't matter if you know nothing about fertility or you are an expert, she will meet you on your level.

I did 3 rounds of Clomid. Each round was accompanied with estrogen 2mg to build up the uterine lining and improve cervical mucous. A trigger shot of 5000mg of HCG ensured ovulation. 2500mg of HCG followed 2 days after ovulation and 4 days after ovulation. At the same time I utilized progesterone/estrogen suppositories. The first cycle was with 100mg of Clomid and produced 1 egg. The second cycle was with 150mg of Clomid and produced 1 egg. My third cycle was with 150mg of Clomid and produced 2 eggs. The last cycle ended with a chemical pregnancy.

The diagnostics were largely covered by insurance. All told for 3 cycles of medication and monitoring was $1800. Office visits/ultrasounds were $350.

My first visit with Dr. Lovely wasn’t under the best of circumstances. I felt my first consult appointment at the clinic had made me uncertain of moving forward with treatment, and when I met Dr. Lovely she was performing a very uncomfortable exam, the HSG. I had just worked the night shift the night before so I was tired as well. Dr. Lovely came in and immediately put me and my concerns at ease. She was warm and friendly and even made me laugh during an extremely uncomfortable situation. She made me hopeful and feel positive about proceeding with treatment. Every other appointment I’ve had with her I’ve felt just as valued. She showed concern for me when she noticed a shift in my mood from appointment to appointment, and she always left me feeling good by the end. She has always been honest, yet caring and considerate. She has always given me an explanation for all of my options, and she explained things when I asked for clarification. I have never felt rushed during appointments or like she needed to hurry up to the next patient. Most importantly I have felt heard and respected like she has my best interest at heart as a person as well as a patient. Infertility is a difficult journey, and having a healthcare provider like Dr. Lovely that can inspire hope and make this process less painful, is extremely important to patients like me.

Ask for Dr. Lovely, you won’t be sorry!

Dr. Lovely saw me after a history of recurrent miscarriages of unknown origin. She performed the HSG, or Hysterosalpingography exam. The only thing found from testing that could potentially be a factor in my infertility is a diminished egg reserve. My treatments started off with daily low dose aspirin and progesterone timed after ovulation which was tracked with home tests. The next step for my treatment was to do timed intercourse with cyclically timed clomid for 7 days and then estrogen for 7 days with at home monitoring for ovulation. I would then get an ultrasound to determine follicle size and amount as well as the readiness of the uterine lining. If everything looked good, they gave me a trigger shot, which was then followed up with another one 3 days later and one more again 3 days later. I was then to start progesterone timed after ovulation. And continued until a negative blood hcg test for pregnancy. Since none of these seem to be working and I’m older than 35 now and worried about my egg reserve, we discussed moving forward with IVF, which has been put on hold due to the Covid situation.

I’m lucky enough to have insurance that covers half of all costs up to a certain point, and my copays have ranged from $50-$200 based on the exam or appointment. The clinic does work with your PCP and insurance to lessen costs by utilizing their labs and allowing certain exams to be run through them as well.

Dr. Lovely was the second doctor that we saw at the clinic. She was welcoming and very knowledgeable. She went through each phase that we would go through along the way. She asked us if we had any questions and was able to answer everything we threw at her. She was kind and compassionate. She was patient and we did not feel rushed out. She gave us the pros and cons to IUI and IVF and helped us make the right decision for us.

Bring a note pad and pen. There's so much information that they go over with you. Dr. Lovely is helpful and will be able to answer all your questions.

Dr. Lovely had this book ( that's what I call it) and it laid out the full IVF treatment and what each phase looked like. She also gave us stats on successful birth and non-successful birth rates. Dr. Lovely then completed an ultrasound on me. She was looking for my uterus and she looked at all m follicles.

The whole IVF treatment w/medication would be around $23k. That was not including all our blood work, genetic testing and my husbands SA test.

Dr. Lovely talked to us about single and multiple embryo transfers. She told us the pros and con's.

I was a bit shocked to hear I'd be hopped around to different Doctors in the practice not just exclusively seeing her. I quickly learned that she put her faith in these other great physicians and that they all work as extensions of one another. Each one seemed just as invested as she was. I am so appreciative of her thoroughness and the time she gives to her patients. She always says when in doubt please call. I never feel like I'm bothering her.

She did offer is endometrial scratch as well as more info on genetic testing.

My entire cycle one is between 17,250- 18,000. This includes monitoring, meds, cyro freeze for a year, retrieval and transfer.

Dr Lovely has been respectful, knowledgeable and compassionate during the whole process. She took time to answer all our questions and never made us feel like we had to rush out or that we were just another couple to go in and out of the clinic. I would 100% recommend her to other couples with infertility.

Bring all the questions you have, she will be happy to answer them and give advice. She also gave us lots of options for treatment, depending on factors such as age, budget, emotional expenses.

IVF cycle was $12,500 including ICSI, PGS biopsy and cryopreservation. Another approx. $4000 for medications and we also paid for PGS testing through Igenomix. I'm not sure of the price for PGS.

Dr Lovely advised us that single embryo transfer would be advised in our situation, due to my age and that it's safer for mother and baby to have a singleton pregnancy. She also said she had a patient that put in 2 embryos, one split, so they ended up with triplets, which is even more dangerous.

Dr Lovely has always made my husband and I feel very comfortable. She is thorough in explaining all parts of the process from preparation, to possible complications/risks, alternate plans available, and results. We always feel well prepared and informed of what we're doing.

Be open and honest with what you're going through, as she's there to help.

We started with medicated IUI cycles as I have PCOS and we have a slight sperm count the issue. I tried letrozole and clomid but did not respond/ovulate. Dr Lovely then recommend a mixed IUI cycle of letrozole and gonal-f injections, which I did respond to, we tried 5 rounds but we did not concieve. After those IUIs failed it was recommended that we move onto IVF. We are part way through our first IVF cycle and now have frozen emrbros waiting for transfer.

Our insurance covers a portion of our treatments. Then there was our out of pocket fee based on treatment, IUI or IVF, due to NCFMC on or before cycle day 1. Then there were medication fees due to my pharmacy for medications needed for treatment.

All the Dr.'s at NCFMC have encouraged only one embryo transfer at a time. They have been very informative and provided statistics on why this option is preferred, both for my safety and that of our future babies. My husband and I trust their opinions and have agreed to only transfer one at a time.

Dr. Lovely is incredibly smart, kind, and has a warm bedside manner. I was so nervous I was going to burst j to tears at some point during our consult but she made me feel comfortable and confident in our future outcome.

Schedule your consult ASAP because there can be a bit of a wait for new patients. Nothing with IVF happens quickly so knowing that up front can help curb frustration.

Cash pay prices have been: $225 for a consult and exam, $199 per person for genetic screening for myself and my husband. $300 for initial blood work needed before starting IVF.

Dr. Laurie typically only transfers one embryo which made me feel very comfortable. I didn’t want to feel pressured to transfer multiple and was happy that her typical process was in line with what my husband and I also hoped for.

I just feel like if I would had the money I would have been able to get pregnant she was so much help and I know she tried very hard for me and my husband to get the loan but you need very good credit to get the loan and our credit isn't so great but I just know that if I would have gotten it she would have got me what I wanted

I highly recommend you see doctor lovely only because she will make you feel at home and she will make you feel like anything is possible if you just try hard enough

She had me go get an hsg and that's when it showed that I had one blocked tube and when we found that out she gave me some fertility medicine to make me ovulate and she was hoping for me to get an IUI but never really got to it so now I am just waiting to actually have enough money to get one

I did have to pay $80 per visit but it was only because I didn't have any insurance besides medical and Medicaid does not cover fertility treatment but other than that my spouse did have insurance so his covered most of his appointments but other than that it was all worth paying

Dr. Lovely is very honest in her opinion of your individual situation I believe. She is very compassionate to the struggle and emotional toll treatment takes on you during treatment. She is very encouraging and informative. I original saw Dr. Lovely for a consultation when she was at California IVF and when I decided to proceed with IVF away from Kaiser I specifically decided to go to NCFMC to be seen by Dr. Lovely. She was also recommended by my treating doctor at Kaiser.

Listen and trust in her guidance.

Dr. Lovely gave me two plans to decide on. One plan was using my own eggs with that plan we were to remove my eggs now due to my age and my low AMH number. Then we would freeze the embryo's and have them PGS tested. She wanted me to lose some weight that I had gained from treatment I had received at Kaiser for polyps on my Uterus. When I was given the all clear by Kaiser we proceeded with IVF treatment. I was give the maximum dosage of medicine due to my poor response during my IUI treatments with Kaiser. Unfortunately I did not respond well, while we thought there were possibly 7 good follicles they were only able to retrieve 3 eggs. One egg wasn't mature, one didn't fertilize. The third egg looked beautiful on the 5th day, but unfortunately during the PGS testing we discovered it had to many chromosomes and would not produce a baby. I'll be meeting with Dr. Lovely for my follow appointment to discuss using an Egg Donor.

I selected financing through ARC there was a set price for the treatment plan with NCFMC it was very detailed and easy to understand. The cost including medication was $20k the only cost I had to pay outside of that was for the sperm and PGS testing which was $3800 together.

I don't have any comments on this section because I did not get this far. However. Dr. Lovely and I did discuss that if I had multiple embryos that made it past the PGS testing we would only transfer a single embryo because it would have a higher chance of being successful. I was in agreement with that because I know that twins poses a much higher risk.

I felt that Dr. Lovely really treated you like a person and not just another patient coming through the door. She helped us with any questions we had along the way. We were honestly sad when she left California IVF Davis.

It is okay to cry in front of Dr. Lovely as she does not judge you.

We did one IUI cycle with Dr. Lovely. I have low egg reserves for my age and Dr. Lovely felt that an IUI cycle would have the same success rate as an IVF cycle for me since my hormone levels were already high and I still was not producing many eggs. I used Leuprolide and Menopur during my cycle with a trigger shot before insemination. I produced two viable eggs with no pregnancy as the result.

My cost for my IUI cycle with Dr. Lovely was roughly $4,000 due to the amount of each medication I needed. Luckily, my insurance covered a portion of it and another large portion was covered by my FLEX spend insurance account.

Dr. Lovely is a very kind individual. I felt like she took the time in our consultation, to review all options thoroughly with us. She answered all questions that we had. We live several hours away the clinic so with follow-up consultations, she did telephone appointments, which was convenient for us. I had a list of questions and without having to ask, she covered everything we were wanting to know.

It is extremely overwhelming and emotional to deal with infertility. Dr. Lovely really seems to care and will take the time to address your concerns.

I was very concerned with the fact that my hormones were not where they should be specifically, my testosterone levels. She referred me to supplements and things to change in my everyday lifestyle, specifically diet and exercise to help with the imbalance.

Each office visit appointment with ultrasound monitoring was $465. For an 11 - 20 minute telephone appointment was $140.

Doctor Lovely is a doctor you want to see when your at you last hopes. She treats you with kindness and understand you. She goes over your chart on what you have done prior coming to the clinic. As a patient i felt that she understand me on what i am going thru. She explain every detail on IUI and IVF. She tells you the differences between them and tells you what she recommends. She gave me information on my PCOS and the treatments i'm going to do. As well she will send a letter/email to myself and my obgyn on my next steps and what treatments i'm going to do.

Be patient and believe in your doctor and clinic.

I still haven't done my treatments. But she puts all the information in your chart and explains everything to you.

Consultation cost is average. Rest depends on what type of treatment you get. But overall Cost are not higher than average.

Dr. Laurie Lovely is very empathetic and passionate about her patients and truly cares about them as a person and their situation. She is attentive and clearly explains options and procedures in a clear manner, ensuring that you are understand & are educated about your treatment plan.

She was positive, informative, non-patronizing, empathetic and encouraging. She also joked with us through the tense times. I really enjoyed meeting with her. Even when news was disappointing, I preferred hearing it from her.

If you like her, stay with her. If she is not your style, find someone who you are comfortable with. This is an emotionally taxing endeavor. You might as well enjoy the company of your doctor -- you will be with him/her often.

I was on high dose meds. Limited success with first round of IVF ( ET successful but no resulting embryo or baby).

4 IUIs , 1 canceled IUI, and 1 IVF ~ about 23K

We saw doctor Lovely for the first couple of appointments. We made us feel that we should have no worries at all and lead us to believe that the process would be simple. We ended up with zero embryos with no explanation. We were ever able to actually speak to Dr. Lovely. The owner of the clinic took over our case, for which we were grateful.

She is not a doctor that we were visit again. We could have just had a negative experience because of our situation. She may be a great doctor, but didn't have great results with our case.

We did reciprocal IVF where I did the egg retrieval, and my wife carried the embryos.

About $25,000 for egg retrieval and implantation

We didn't get far along enough in the process to discuss embryo transfer.

Dr lovely is very knowledgeable. She was willing to spend a great deal of time to explain things fully and answered all my questions patiently. She accurately described what I should expect as outcomes of my treatment.

Be careful with how you communicate with the staff. Its not always easy to get them to relate your message accurately. The clinic nurses were friendly and gentle however.

Dr Lovely uses maximum stimulation, she believes this method should yield the highest number of eggs. She was very skillful. All the eggs she retrieved turned into embryos. She was able to freeze all of them

majority of ivf clinics are expensive and put high priority on patients's ability to pay.

I felt very comfortable and not nervous about the dosage of fertility medication. She is very knowledgeable. Very gentle with administering the IUI. She answered all my questions and kept a positive outlook.

You are in good hands. No need to be nervous she knows what she is doing.

Clomid 100mg for 5 days, Estrogen for 5 days, daily low dose aspirin, daily prenatal. HCG trigger shot then IUI the next day. 3 cycles of this exact protocol. First cycle 4 follicles, Second cycle 3 follicles and then third cycle 4 follicles. Chemical pregnancy after the third cycle.

Ultrasounds about $200. Sperm Washing and IUI $500. Meds $150.

She’s very nice and very understanding. She has lots of confidence and experience. She is able to answer our questions in a thoughtful manner. We had a very good experience working with her. We would recommend her to others as well.

I’ve tried a natural frozen embryo transfer cycle and a hormone replacement cycle. Both for different reasons. I’m still in the middle of the ladder cycle.

Total care has been around $26,000 including medications. This is for one retrieval and two embryo transfers

Our doctor recommended a single, but we opted to transfer two embryos both times.

Amiable personality, easy to communicate with. Knowledgeable about the subject and willing to share information with patients. Satisfied as to how treatment was set out. From first visit to the last felt involved in treatment and was provided with a lot of information as to why treatment was set out the way it was. Felt my questions/concerns were seriously taken into consideration and addressed in a respectful manner.

She is not at the clinic full time which means treatment by other doctors is highly probable.

She’s great and would recommend her. Very informative. I only saw her a couple of times becaus when your body is ready you see the doctor on duty at the time so I saw 3 other doctors over the course of the 8 months

Prepare for the long haul

We tried meds with intercourse for 4 months. When I didn’t get pregnant we progressed to IUI. We did that several times with one round resulting in IUI 2 days in a row. I ended up being 12 days late in December but the Beta came back negative and then 2 days later I ended up starting. Without having a positive pregnancy test it was either an early miscarriage or my body was just acting up from the hormones.

It was around 1200 a month when we did the IUI

She's a warm and caring person. She does her best to make you feel comfortable. She gives you the facts and numbers even if they aren't the greatest. She never makes you feel rushed or like your feelings don't matter. I know I broke down in her office more than once and she never made me feel bad about it or like it was an inconvenience to her.

Trust her

I didn't have to pay anything beyond a copay until it came time for IVF. The IVF obviously was very expensive. At the time they did not offer the refund program they do now. I paid approximately $15,000 for my IVF and medications

So friendly, looked through all of our records. We never felt rushed, my partner had testicular cancer and we had been trying for alittle over 3 years before seeking a fertility doctor. She put all of our worries to rest

Give it a try, I was concerned about the cost. She thought initially with my partner's cancer history that we would need to do IVF but when she saw his results she said iui would be fine. More affordable than you would think
