She was very kind and I would highly recommend her...She performed my ultrasound several times leading up to my retrievals and she was very thorough and informative and would explain what we were seeing on the screen etc
The [Northern California Fertility Medical Center] clinic is fantastic, organized and caring. They always made sure we were taken care of very well. The staff has always been very helpful and kind. Highly recommend them for anyone needing fertility assistance...[Dr. Laurie Lovely] performed my ultrasound several times leading up to my retrievals and she was very thorough and informative and would explain what we were seeing on the screen etc

She [Dr. Lovely] took the time to answer all my questions even if I felt it may have been a stupid one. She took the time to get to know me and my husband first before we even started talking about fertility treatment ... She never treated me as a “patient” I was always a person to her, she was very kind and compassionate. She was always upfront with us about everything in terms of our treatment plan and possible set backs.
They [No Cal Fert Med Ctr] are a very welcoming clinic from the front office staff to the staff in the back. They always had a smile on their face and never looked as though they didn’t like their job. I never felt like I was being rushed at check in or check out. ... My insurance covered it at 50% but even then the cost was well below what I thought or expected it to be.

My insurance covered it at 50% but even then the cost was well below what I thought or expected it to be.

The doctor let me choose how many embryos to transfer up to 2 as she stated they are my embryos.

I wish I had access to a specific treatment timeline in advance so I could plan my work & personal schedule/events. My understanding is they [Northern California Fertility Med Ctr] do not give this to you until the month you are to actually commence stimulation. ... So far they [nurses] have been responsive to my inquiries. ... Self-pay egg freezing is $7,700 per cycle/retrieval ... found emailing my doctor directly was the best way to get concrete information.

When I would mention or ask her about one study or another, she never had an, "I'm the doctor" attitude, but instead would point out where the research/result might be ambiguous or not applicable to my situation.

Dr. Lovely provided her email address for "any questions" at the end of the consultation & exam. At first I was hesitant to use it, but quickly found this was the quickest and surest way to receive answers to my questions. Dr. Lovely always responded promptly to my emails.
Describe the protocols Laurie Lovely used in your cycles at Northern California Fertility Medical Center and their degree of success.
I do not know the results yet, but the proposed protocol is as follows: Cetrotide 250 mcg or Antagon 250 mcg, 5 doses Menopur 75 IU, 20 vials Gonal F or Follistim 3000 IU (9-10 pens) Lupron 2-week kit hCG 10,000 IU, one vial

I haven't had much interaction yet. So far they have been responsive to my inquiries.

I found emailing my doctor directly was the best way to get concrete information. I wish I had access to a specific treatment timeline in advance so I could plan my work & personal schedule/events.
