Dr. Laymen is a knowledgeable fertility specialist. He took the time to look at my history at every appointment and adjusted the next step based on what he saw or what I relayed. Since he took the time to explain everything, I never felt that I was being rushed or just a number. I felt that he cared...I was placed on clomid to facilitate ovulation. When it was determine that one ovary, the one I needed, didn't produce a viable egg, he relayed that and recommended the next month
[the Augusta University Reproductive Medicine nurses are] Very efficient and answered any questions mostly the same day. When I emailed using their system, they responded quickly either by phone or email...The clinic is quick and easy to find. I think that some of the rooms are a little small but it is not cramped. They are quick in processing everyone and you are seen in a timely manner. My insemination appts were less than 40 long.

I was placed on clomid to facilitate ovulation. When it was determine that one ovary, the one I needed, didn't produce a viable egg, he relayed that and recommended the next month. Next month came around, and it had worked. He then recommend to wait for my natural ovulation and when that didn't occur as expected, then a HCG shot was recommended. Insemination happened 36 hours later and that was a quick and easy procedure.

Out of pocket expenses: Ultrasound - $285, Insemination - $355, Trigger shot - 100, Sperm washing - $240. These are subject to change depending on the person and medication. Also they looked to my insurance and some of this became covered.
