Whenever I spoke with her [Dr. Lynn Davis] I really got the sense that she cared about what was going on and really wanted things to work out for us...I felt really knowledgeable and confident about the IVF process and what I was getting myself into from the start, as she did an excellent job of explaining things. She also coordinated with local medical facilities to do necessary testing (blood work, ultrasounds etc) where I live which was a huge help (otherwise I would have needed to spend more time and therefore money in Seattle).
I didn’t have any issues with the clinic, everything went really smooth. The place was really nice, and all the staff I saw were really helpful. I’d also like to point out that as far as billing and costs everything was just as they said it would be there were no “surprises” or anything like that. It costs “x amount”, we paid “x amount” simple...I am not from the Seattle area, so I was a bit concerned starting out about communication, and coordination but they were on it! I mean like if I had a question I got an email or a call right away and they took care of everything as far as getting orders in to local labs it was a huge relief not to have to worry about all that stuff being taken care of.
How was your experience with Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
I’m not from Seattle, so many appointments were done over the phone in the beginning. I felt really knowledgeable and confident about the IVF process and what I was getting myself into from the start, as she did an excellent job of explaining things. She also coordinated with local medical facilities to do necessary testing (blood work, ultrasounds etc) where I live which was a huge help (otherwise I would have needed to spend more time and therefore money in Seattle). When I first met her in person I had a sense that I was in good hands she explained what the next few days would entail and what to expect with each procedure. I remember telling my husband “I’m really glad she is my doctor, she really seems to care”. Now, although we didn’t get the result we were hoping for, Dr.Davis called to offer her sincere condolences and had come up with a plan to go about things a bit differently next time to hopefully provide a better outcome. That was nice because it was obviously a really heartbreaking time and when you go through all this, well, when it doesn’t work it’s hard not to lose hope, her calling and saying ok we learned from this and we are going to use that information to give you a better chance next time, that was the little glimmer of hope I needed in that time.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
I would just say to write down any questions you have so you remember to ask them, she is really good at explaining things, and if there is anything you don’t quite understand just ask and she will make sure to explain it in such a way that you fully understand it
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Whenever I spoke with her I really got the sense that she cared about what was going on and really wanted things to work out for us.
Describe the protocols Lynn Davis used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
I don’t remember the exact protocol, but I started out taking birth control pills for about 2 weeks. I don’t recall the exact order or combination, but the other medications I used were menapure, gonal-f, and lupron. Then there was a “trigger shot” right before egg retrieval. I believe this was used based on my age circumstances etc. As this was my first round of IVF it was explained to me that it was a good “middle of the road” dosing regimen enough to stimulate good egg production, but hopefully not so much that it would cause hyper stimulation. This all proved to be true, the problem was I began ovulating before the retrieval so some of the healthier or more developed eggs were lost, I had one embryo make it to day 5, which was transferred. Sadly it did not result in pregnancy. Having seen how I reacted to the medications and what all transpired Dr.Davis recomended a different protocol of medications and an earlier retrieval for the next attempt.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
I think the actual IVF was around 12 or 13,000 and the medications were about 3,500 but I don’t remember exactly
Describe Lynn Davis's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
It was explained to me that if there were only 2 embryos available for transfer that statistically I would have a better chance of conceiving by doing two separate transfers vs doing both at the same time, however we only had one embryo so it was a bit of a non issue in our situation.

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Dr Davis was pleasant, but I felt like just another patient. I feel like because we could “only” afford IUIs out of pocket, we weren’t taken as seriously. I only saw Dr Davis twice during our 4 IUIs - once for a consultation and once when they all failed and she recommended IVF. I didn’t even feel like she was my doctor, really. I felt like my nurse was! All communication was done through the nurse. Dr Davis might respond differently to people doing IVF, but for our IUIs I’d say she was pretty much nonexistent, but nice when we did talk to her twice.
My nurse [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine], Brianna, was amazing. She responded to every worried email I had with care and great explanation. She helped me at early hours when my OPK came back positive naturally before I used ovidrel and told me what to do before it was too late. She did all of my IUIs. I felt like she was my doctor. She made SRM worth it - even though nothing worked so far! (Still haven’t tried IVF).

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Ask about the communication methods so you’re not surprised to be only speaking with the nurse and monitored by the nurse the whole time. Come with your own questions. Know and trust your body. Make sure you aren’t put through a cookie cutter / one size fits all process. Ask “why” for each and every medication. Ask her success rates for IUI with endometriosis.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
During my 4 IUIs, I saw Dr. Davis once for a consultation and once after they all failed and she recommended IVF. There were no in between hellos or check ins. I think that’s pretty normal but I just didn’t expect that. Our nurse, Brianna, was amazing though!!!
Describe the protocols Lynn Davis used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
I’m 30 (was 28 at the time)...My cycle is normal (26 days), ovulate on my own, all hormones came back “normal”, and the only factor known is stage I endometriosis. I was put on Letrozole (Femara) instead of Clomid because of endo. I used Ovidrel for better timing, and progesterone post IUI to help lining if pregnant. For the 4th IUI, they added a low dose of Gonal-f to try to produce more eggs (I think?). I always had 1 mature egg on my own anyways.

Describe your experience with Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
-Semen collection for IUIs are awkward. I wish we had a discreet way of saying whether or not we want to go in the room with our partner (or moreso if our partner wants us to go in). -Kind front desk staff. -Clean environment. -Great nurse care. -Low doctor involvement for IUI. -Good communication with nurse.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
I was quoted $17,300.00 for one cycle of IVF. (Out of pocket - our insurance covers $0.) We paid about $1,000 total for each IUI - so $4,000 total. Smaller fees throughout - such as consultation (which I think is like $250), hormone tests, AMH test, final consultation ...etc.

I think Dr Davis was very knowledgeable and explained very clearly about the procedures as well as risks and benefits of treatments. I think it would of been helpful to me to talk about timeline of ivf and insurance with ivf in our initial visit. Our expectations as far as a timeframe were pretty different than what was really possible and that caused a lot of stress initially.
I think the people they have working SRM are it’s strength as they are knowledgeable and kind. It is pretty apparent that the clinic is over capacity when it comes to patient number as it was communicated several times to me when there were very long wait times for procedures...Claire [nurse] was very pleasant to work with and responded punctually to emails over the portal. She demonstrated compassion when procedures did not go as well as hope

Dr Davis was lovely and I felt very confident in her knowledge. We had a few hiccups along the way and each time she talked to me about the issues with care and kindness
Describe the protocols Lynn Davis used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
I think the main reason we were there was for male fertility factor. We would use ivf to get the sperm to the egg. Along the way we found out I had a polyp which could have been contributing to our infertility and contributed to the failed embryo transfer

We went through insurance mostly but had to put down deposits occasionally in case insurance did not cover
Describe Lynn Davis's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
I would say set realistic expectations regarding timeframe. Also, when I froze my eggs years earlier I privately paid for that procedure. I later got denied for another egg retrieval by insurance. I wish I would have known that was a possibility as it may have affected my decision making and also saved some time

Just once really. I was waiting to hear if I should trigger for my embryo transfer. It was getting pretty late in the day and I couldn’t directly get a hold of anyone. They did eventually call me back but the lab had lost my blood sample. It was just kind of stressful trying to figure out what was going on.

Dr Davis was always warm and sincere during our appointments. I never felt like I was being rushed through it. She listened to all of my concerns and took time explaining to me anything I needed clarity with...helped come up with a treatment that I was happy with. I came for her to help after a miscarriage and 6 months of trying. She understood my urgency for help, as I was over 35 and wanting to speed things up. She wasn’t too aggressive, but also didn’t suggest I should wait longer. I would say the level of help was ideal for me (a round of Clomid along with an IUI the same month).
[The nurses at Seattle Reproductive Medicine are] Always pleasant, efficient in explaining directions and on time when doing labs. Very lovely nursing staff!...It cost about $250 for the ultrasounds (one to confirm Clomid was working and the other to confirm my pregnancy). The IUI was around $650...It was easy to schedule appointments and I was always seen promptly in person. Parking was easy. The offices are very nice and clean. I found the staff and nurses at this location very pleasant. I came there for all my tests, labs and procedures.

She concluded I was ovulating on my own, but understood my eagerness to conceive and wanted a little help. She ordered me on the lowest dose of Clomid for a cycle and scheduled an IUI that same cycle after naturally getting a positive ovulation test. She didn’t push any trigger shots on me unnecessarily. Once I went in for the IUI, I received a positive pregnancy test 10 days after the procedure. I returned after 6 weeks so she could confirm the pregnancy with an ultrasound. Everything has been going great now, I’m due in a few months. I’m so glad I went to SRM when I did and didn’t wait on it.

Dr. Davis would reach out when there were unexpected results and her nurse coordinator Jenna, would keep in regular contact and consult with Dr. Davis as needed throughout our treatment cycles... is very knowledgeable and provides honest and positive feedback with our treatment, which spanned over several years. She was very respectful of our opinions about our treatment options and what we felt comfortable with. She provided us ample information to make informed decisions as well as statistical information about our success rates, depending on what option we pursued, which was helpful.
Our primary nurse coordinator [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine] was Jenna and she was very available by patient messaging and occasionally we would talk on the phone. She was quick to respond to any questions and if she was unavailable, other nurses in the clinic would followup. Weekends were tough because the staffing is limited and sometimes it would take multiple phone calls to the operator to get an answer...IUI and IVF cycles were out of pocket, payment up front prior to the initiation of the cycle. All inclusive of lab, US and any anesthesia/surgical costs. Multicycle discount provided for additional IVF cycles (10%). Did not participate in Attain or any other multi-cycle program, though this was offered.

Describe the protocols Lynn Davis used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
-letrozole initially with timed intercourse -letrozole with IUI -combination of menopur 75 IU and Gonal F 450 IU, cetrotide antagonist started on day 5 in the 2nd half of stimulation with lupron trigger for IVF #1&2, I have moderately diminished ovarian reserve with my AMH at low normal for my age -Menopur 150 IU and gonal f 375 IU with cetrotide antagonist with HCG trigger on cycle #3, egg retrieval done at hour 35 instead of 36 due to early ovulation on cycle #2 Don't have much information of drug dosing strategy, but the antagonist protocol was what we did with different dosing on each cycle. No significant change in my stimulation response to this between cycles. I had poor quality eggs with each cycle and had an unexpected early ovulation in cycle #2, so they were only able to retrieve 2 eggs with that cycle because of the early ovulation.

Describe your experience with Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
High volume clinic with a great embryology program and many options for patients with a variety of issues. Multiple providers and locations make scheduling easy and provide options for convenience. Because of the high volumes, you must be your own advocate and be persistent. You can feel like a number, but that does not mean that the care providers are not caring and compassionate, but if your primary doctor or nurse are not responding, you may be dealing with a partner and they will obviously be less familiar. Be patient and persistent, if you have questions, speak up.

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Dr Davis is amazing. Under my pervious care, I was treated like a number, misdiagnosed with PCOS, and told that I was very overweight (I’m not). Dr Davis has taken the time to get to know my husband and I, our priorities, and work with us to create a plan we are all comfortable with. She has never pushed a treatment on us that we were not ready for, and is always available to talk when I need encouragement. Just last night we were on the phone for an hour because we found out our latest treatment failed. I am lucky to be under her care.
[SRM's] Strengths: Organized and welcoming; the staff is all very competent and capable. Weaknesses: Very busy. Wish we had more time with our doctors. I love and trust the nurses but there is something very reassuring about talking to my actual doctor that I need more than every 3 months.... I’ve had a hell of a time getting them to send my test results to my naturopath... $1000 per IUI $175 per ultrasound $125 per trigger shot
How was your experience with Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Her communication, transparency and ability to empathize are her super powers. Weaknesses: I wish I could talk to her more, but I also understand that I am in good care with the nursing staff and they are all very aligned.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Giving a list of lifestyle changes that she recommends would be nice; even if it is just a book she likes. It helps me to keep my mind busy and feel like I’m doing something to help myself and I’d love to be aligned with her vision of what health looks like

I went in for a consultation to see what treatment options I could move forward with since the last place would not let me do what I wanted. It was IVF only or the highway. I’m so glad I went to go see Dr. Davis. She was very thorough. She explained things that my previous clinic did not. She said she didn’t see why I couldn’t just try letrozole for a few cycles. It didn’t work but I did have a uterine polyp and she said if I wasn’t pregnant then she would recommend to remove it. She didn’t do my surgery but she did call to check on me!
Dr. Davis is great and I really liked her. Sometimes it was a little hard to get ahold of a nurse [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine - Bellvue] or for them to understand what you needed. The billing system needs work because i got the same bill twice. So just pay attention to the billing but it was definitely cheaper than the last clinic i went to!... Dr. Davis started me on 5mg of letrozole right away. When that didn’t produce any eggs, she prescribed 7.5mg. I wanted to take ovidrel just to cover my bases and she agreed and didn’t see any problems with that
How was your experience with Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
I went in for a consultation to see what treatment options I could move forward with since the last place would not let me do what I wanted. It was IVF only or the highway. What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Just like going to any Dr, write your questions down. Definitely go see her if you’re thinking about going to see a fertility doctor.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Dr. Davis talked to me like a normal person. She was very nice! I told her what I wanted to try and she had no problem with it!

The consultation st SRM costs $300 but my insurance actually covered it when i thought it was going to be out of pocket. With insurance each of my ultrasounds were around 9-10$. It was very inexpensive

She [Dr. Davis] was very kind and compassionate. I didn't feel rushed. She called me personally, something that other doctors had never done before.... Strengths: Kind, compassionate, doesn't seem rushed Weaknesses: Uninformed about alternative treatments (such as Reproductive immunology, anti histamine protocols). Her plan for me after 3 failed attempts was just to "keep trying." She didn't have any new ideas for me
The clinic [Seattle Reproductive Medicine] is warm, welcoming. The med assistants and front desk staff are lovely.... The business office didn't send chart records to my new clinic. I had to remind them multiple times. Then, they sent incomplete records. Their billing office is disorganized. They send multiple bills that are confusing and contradictory. They have told me to ignore the bills because they were "sent in error" many times.

Describe your experience with your nurse at Seattle Reproductive Medicine. (Assigned nurse: Kimmy)
Kimmy was actually the nurse for a different SRM doctor who I had used before. I requested her again because she's so wonderful. She's warm, compassionate, responsive, attentive and conscientious
Describe your experience with Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
The clinic is warm, welcoming. The med assistants and front desk staff are lovely. Their lab is mediocre. I got much better results at a different clinic (made 6, 5 day embryos, which is more than I made during my 3 cycles at SRM combined..) Their business and billing offices are very disorganized, unresponsive and slow, however.

Dr. Davis is very personable and compassionate and was understanding of my desire to understand the scientific specifics about my treatment plan. She set realistic expectations from the onset. I found her manner reassuring and lacking any evidence to the contrary, I trust her abilities...You won't see your primary doctor often, but you do have the ability to get questions routed to them via the portal...Antagonist protocol with a Lupron trigger (Gonal-F, Menopur, and Cetrotide). This seemed to be the standard protocol
The clinic [SRM] is efficient. I can generally get appointments in a timely fashion and there is little waiting...The errors made by my coordinator in scheduling and ordering medications, gave me the impression that I was another patient ID and not relating to me as a person with specific requests for my treatment...The general nursing staff was great! They were friendly and competent and were the only people that made me feel like a person However, my coordinator made several mistakes in scheduling, communicating, and prescription refills that left me feeling that I needed to double-check

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Ask questions and self-advocate. There are aspects of my treatment plan that were included, but I only knew that because I asked about them. There might be things you want to explore that aren't offered up by the doctor.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
The errors made by my coordinator in scheduling and ordering medications, gave me the impression that I was another patient ID and not relating to me as a person with specific requests for my treatment.
Describe the protocols Lynn Davis used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
Antagonist protocol with a Lupron trigger (Gonal-F, Menopur, and Cetrotide). This seemed to be the standard protocol and there were only minor adjustments to medications to address data that was only available after the first cycle. Overall results seem to be about as expected. Lupron trigger was to reduce chances for OHSS.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Seattle Reproductive Medicine. (Assigned nurse: Elsa Haile)
The general nursing staff was great! They were friendly and competent and were the only people that made me feel like a person However, my coordinator made several mistakes in scheduling, communicating, and prescription refills that left me feeling that I needed to double-check all scheduling, confirm instructions repeatedly, and keep an active watch over prescription doses and amounts so I could notify her with enough time to get refills with out it resulting in me paying rush fees. My following up, due to my lack of confidence in her ability, seemed to generate annoyance from her.
Describe your experience with Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
From what I can gather from other folk's experiences, the clinic is efficient. I can generally get appointments in a timely fashion and there is little waiting. You won't see your primary doctor often, but you do have the ability to get questions routed to them via the portal.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
IUI cycles were medicated with only Clomid and ran around $600 per cycle. Egg Retrieval for freezing was a flat $11,950 per cycle excluding medications. PGS was an additional $2,000 for biopsy per cycle and $2,250 to lab (up to 8 samples). Medications ran approximately $5k per cycle. Frozen transfers are quoted at a flat $3,500 per cycle excluding medications. Medications are estimated to be $2,000 per cycle.
Describe Lynn Davis's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Since I brought up PGS testing before IVF treatment started and was clear that we preferred eSET there was little to no discussion on multiple embryo transfer.
What specific things went wrong at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
  • Failed to call in prescriptions to pharmacy
  • Failed to call with results
  • Failed to inform you of changes in protocol
  • Provided conflicting information
Describe the specific things that went wrong at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
All of the errors appeared to originate with my care coordinator. It's clear she is not particularly organized and has trouble with remembering to provide results when she has said she will and confirm that the treatment is following protocol. In one instance I was not told to start a medication which could have resulted in the cancellation of an egg retrieval cycle. When the error was acknowledged I then had to leave work mid-day to inject ASAP to prevent the cancellation of the cycle due to ovulation. This was completely avoidable. I think she forgets, or doesn't know, what it's like to be a patient on the other side of this process where all you do is wait for results that each hold a piece of your potential family in them after spending large sums of money. I have little patience and next to zero tolerance for avoidable errors.

My husband and I never felt like we were just a job for Dr Davis or Lindsay [a nurse at Seattle Reproductive Medicine]. We were people that they cared about. I tell all of my friends who are struggling with infertility to not waste another second and go see Dr. Davis. I think she is an amazing Dr. She wasted no time in coming up with our protocol and when it didn't work the first time she knew just what to do the next time by adding in icsi.
I can't praise them [the staff at Seattle Reproductive Medicine] enough. It's kind of hard to know exactly what to say when I think they are just amazing at what they do and amazing people who sincerely care about their patients. I think that's a big part for me as an infertile and many others I know, that our Drs really, truly care and want to see our dreams come true. It means the world and they mean the world to me because they gave me my world, my beautiful boy.
How was your experience with Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Dr. Davis was always very kind and made my husband and I feel comfortable. She answered all of our questions in a way we felt like she was a friend and no question was ever too silly. The same goes for our nurse coordinator, Lindsay Craig. Most of the time I dealt with Lindsay and anytime I needed her she was available whether over the phone or emails. The longest I ever waited for a response was by the end of the day. She was very prompt. My husband and I never felt like we were just a job for Dr Davis or Lindsay. We have had successes with them [Seattle Reproductive Medicine] resulting in blessing us with our sweet 2 year boy, and we have had fails with them, a negative ivf and a positive fet resulting in miscarriage. [Treatments with Dr. Davis included] Polypectomy from my uterus, Ovidrel injection& IUI resulted in a pregnancy...is very kind and caring to me. I felt well taken care of by her. I had to have a procedure where she removed polyps from my uterus and it went so smoothly. She took care of me as an individual person. She made sure I understand the process...She made sure she gets to know me and my situation before we started the fertility treatment. It had been a long journey, but she made sure my body is welled and equipped for the treatment. First IUI with Dr. Davis was a success! Thank you very much Dr. Davis!
Lauren and other nursing staff [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine] were very professional& kind and prompt to response to my questions and concerns...Approximately 2,000-3,000 per IUI plus medication...The layout of the clinic is perfect! Cleanliness is top notch especially during this Covid pandemic. I had to go into the clinic alone due to the pandemic, it was hard to do by myself during the 6th weeks pregnancy ultrasound, but I understands.

The treatment protocol Dr David followed was logical and made sense. After a few treatments we revisited our plan to see if adjustments were needed...was alway professional in our conversations and explained things to me so I could understand...I feel like Dr Davis could have done more to treat me as a whole. I had genetic testing done but none of my mutations were considered for any of my treatments. Also I didn’t get responses to my questions in a timely manner. I had questions on next steps for treatment and it took a month for me to get a response, which was very disappointing
It felt like I was just another number [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine] and I didn’t feel much compassion from my nurse. She forgot I emailed a question, and I had to follow up after not hearing from her in over a month...Weakness: I feel like I never saw the same nurse or doctor for any of my appointments. Maybe that’s due to scheduling but I didn’t feel I was given the option to request for my doctor Strength: when scheduling I was always able to make an appointment at my clinic of choice

Dr. Davis takes time to understand our situation. She’s flexible and willing to work with us if we want a more aggressive approach and will make recommendations catered to us....After 3 failed IUIs she was open to continue doing them with increased medication or go to IVF. ...Any time we asked to meet with her, we were given a meeting. We could even do a phone call. She fully explained all options to us and was flexible with what we wanted.
I highly recommended SRM, dr. Davis, and all of the nurses. The only place they need to improve is reception. I often wait on hold for 10 mins just to get the receptionist to schedule and appointment, and when I’m there, they are not the must warm and fuzzy. Highly recommend everyone on the care side!...Only once, the receptionist forgot to email me the recipes. When I followed up, she said she often forgets stuff like that.
How was your experience with Lynn Davis at Seattle Reproductive Medicine?
Any time we asked to meet with her, we were given a meeting. We could even do a phone call. She fully explained all options to us and was flexible with what we wanted. I’ve heard others say their RE wanted x amount of failed IUIs fbefore IVF or certain thresholds to be met, and she’s never been that way. After 3 failed IUIs she was open to continue doing them with increased medication or go to IVF. Whatever we were comfortable with. I couldn’t be happier she is my doctor.

Dr. Davis is well spoken, kind, compassionate, professional, and smart. She also really wants us to get pregnant, and is so disappointed when we get a negative result. I know that I can always contact Dr. Davis by phone and/or email.... We've had 3 IUIs, 3 IVFs, 1 cancelled IVF due to low response, and 1 FET. We used different protocols for every cycle.
[Seattle Reproductive Med-Kirkland's] Strengths: Multiple locations, the Seattle location is open Saturdays and Sundays, great group of doctors, great receptionists, they do a ton of tests in house Weaknesses: Some of the nurses that do blood draws in Seattle on the weekends aren't very good, expensive... We did a package plan through Attain, Attain IVF Refund 2+ Program in 2016. It was 25,950. Our current cycle of IVF is $13,742.02. I don't remember the cost of the other rounds of IVF.

In 7 years, one time a prescription wasn't called in. But, with a reminder call, it was called in and the medicine was received in time.

Dr. Davis is very professional and has research to back up her recommendations. However I did not feel like she spent much time reviewing my actual case after our first visit. I had to constantly remind Dr. Davis and her nurse about the details of my situation. I also feel like we were put on a protocol and no efforts were made to adjust it no matter what happened with a cycle. I definitely felt more like a "number" rather than an individual.
Our experience with the nursing staff {at Seattle Reproductive Medicine] was hit and miss. There were several errors made that fortunately I was quick enough to catch. Concerning to think what would have happened if I hadn't been paying attention or hadn't known to question what I was being told. (for example was told to start progesterone much too soon after an IUI- I questioned it TWICE before the nurse changed her directions).

Dr Davis was very clear about our treatment plan and when walking away, there were no doubts or questions. We felt like we could really talk to her and she cared about our feelings and opinion. When I had my IUI, I wished Dr Davis performed the procedure and not the nurse...The first 2 IUI cycles I was not placed on fertility drugs. Finally the 3rd round I was prescribed fertility drug. Dr. Davis felt that since my hormone levels were fine, she wanted me to be able to conceive on my own with the help of the IUI.
Lindsay was the nurse I always contacted [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine]. She was absolutely fabulous and approachable. So patient and answered all of my questions...The clinic was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I didn’t mind traveling 2 hours to get there, because it felt so comfortable. The only weakness that this clinic is that it would of been nice if SRM had a satellite office further north.

Dr.Davis was very personable and made me comfortable moving forward with a process that is very complicated. She helped me understand what was going on with my body and how the treatment would progress.... The phone appointments with Dr. Davis have always been very focused and personal. She answered my questions and helped me understand the process.... We are in process of IVF with donor egg.... Specifically calls with Dr. Davis were $200 each
We haven’t been to the clinic [Seattle Reproductive Medicine] yet as we are long distance. However, everyone we have dealt with via conference calls have been extremely helpful and sympathetic to what we are going through especially long distance.... We have specified we want multiple embryo transfer and while they must tell us a singleton is safer they respect our wishes.... We got a beautiful baby boy out of this so I cant complain too much but we did feel as if there was a lack of emotional understanding while going through this process with her [Dr. Lynn Davis]...Communication wasn't the best and we didn't feel like she understood the emotions both my wife and I were going through, but she is an outstanding doctor... Also we were given the wrong schedule for the doses of the injectable hormones (clerical error by a nurse) which as you can imagine totally freaked us out.
Strengths [of Seattle Reproductive Medicine]: large scale production Weakness: you are a number...Also we were given the wrong schedule for the doses of the injectable hormones (clerical error by a nurse) which as you can imagine totally freaked us out....15k for one IVF cycle not including the meds which I believe were another 4-5k

In our case, with male factor infertility we were unable to complete 2 cycles of IUI [with Dr. Lynn Davis] because of really low count and motility and were told by Urologist that it’s not an option for us anymore. IVF is the only option we were given last month. I like how Dr. Davis is honest about success rates and doesn’t keep your hopes up if chances are very slim...is very friendly and compassionate. She explains everything and takes time to answer questions and listens.
Tina [nurse at Seattle Reproductive Medicine] was always helpful...I’ve been to 2 locations- Kirkland and Seattle. I like them both. Kirkland has easier parking options. In Seattle you have to pay for parking in the garage, SRM doesn’t validate parking. On the weekends garage is closed and it takes some time to find parking on the street. Dr Davis is very friendly and compassionate. She explains everything and takes time to answer questions and listens. Our first round of IUI was successful and we had a healthy baby boy in 2013. IUI was performed by a nurse. Few years later we tried with a different doctor and had 5 unsuccessful rounds of IUI. Then we went back to Dr Davis and had one more IUI in 2018 which resulted in positive pregnancy test but I started bleeding the same day. In 2019 we went back to Dr. Davis to try IUI again. Letrozole and time intercourse (with ultrasounds) 4. IUI

I loved having Dr. Davis as our doctor. She is very welcoming and personable, and I really felt like we could ask her anything and that she would explain so that we understood. We saw Dr. Davis at every visit, even if it was just to do labs, that’s how I know she truly cared about her patients...She will give you a lot of information, which is a good thing, but it will ease your mind to have your concerns written out... I started progesterone and had a day 5 embryo transfer with two embryos. I continued with Progesterone until I believe 10 weeks of my pregnancy. I carried one baby to full term and delivered a healthy baby boy.
There was usually a wait for monitoring appointments [at Seattle Reproductive Medicine], but no longer than an average doctors appointment. I would say no longer than 20 minute wait, and sometimes it was immediately...We went through a loan program called Capex MD... A strength is their scheduling. On a couple of occasions, I had to reschedule an appointment at the last minute and they were very accommodating.

Lynn has an amazingly warm bedside manner. She gave difficult news gently, and always asked if we understood or had any questions.
Describe the protocols Lynn Davis used in your cycles at Seattle Reproductive Medicine and their degree of success.
For my IVF Cycle: I had a uterine evaluation and sounding, and I started birth control first, and also went to an injection training class. My first medication was 10 units of Luteal Lipton daily, and had a suppression check toward the beginning of the cycle. I started stimulation meds 150 of Gonal F, and 75 of Menopur. I did a home pregnancy test to confirm HCG absorption, and the next day had my egg retrieval. I started progesterone and had a day 5 embryo transfer with two embryos. I continued with Progesterone until I believe 10 weeks of my pregnancy. I carried one baby to full term and delivered a healthy baby boy.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Seattle Reproductive Medicine. (Assigned nurse: Marianne Itter)
Marianne Itter was literally our lifeline. She was incredible, and although I didn’t see her at every visit, she made me feel like she was there every single step of the way. I could not have done this without her.
Describe your experience with Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Often times I had to come in for an appointment right when SRM opened, and if my very insightful nurse had not given me the building code, I would not have been able to get into the building. SRM uses an answering service that is offsite, so you cannot get a hold of anyone inside the building if you are stuck at the door. The parking garage was also closed at that early hour, so the first appointment of the day will most likely have to find street parking. A strength is their scheduling. On a couple of occasions, I had to reschedule an appointment at the last minute and they were very accommodating.
Describe your experience with your monitoring appointments at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
There was usually a wait for monitoring appointments, but no longer than an average doctors appointment. I would say no longer than 20 minute wait, and sometimes it was immediately.

We went through a loan program called Capex MD. I cannot recall the exact amounts since everything was billed there.
Describe Lynn Davis's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Seattle Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Davis did not make us choose until we were ready. It turns out, we did not make the final decision until the day of the embryo transfer. She was very supportive and did not rush us to decide by a specific time.
