Mark Bush

Dr. Bush was prompt and efficient. When we first met with Dr. Bush we had already gone through 3.5 years of trying on our own and a year of Clomid and other measures with my OBGYN. Dr. Bush reviewed all of our screenings and tests before our initial consultation so we felt like our time wasn’t wasted. He was very clinical and frankly quite blunt but we actually appreciated that approach. We weren’t looking for someone to beat around the bush at this point. Dr. Bush was very confident that despite a diagnosis of unexplained infertility he would get us a baby of our own. He was very proud of his clinic. The initial impression definitely came off a touch cocky, honestly. But we were glad to know we were with a doctor who was very confident in his practice. In our consultation appointment, I came with a full list of questions and he actually took the page from me and went down and specifically answered every single question. We felt very confident in his ability to treat our case. We felt like he genuinely wanted us to be successful.

Don’t be turned off by his clinical nature. Despite a blunt delivery, he truly cares about his patients’ success.

Dr. Bush recommended going straight to IVF. Due to insurance and financial matters, we opted to try IUI first. We did three rounds of IUI. I honestly don’t remember our IUI procedure other than doing a trigger shot 24 hours before the IUI. We moved on to IVF after 3 unsuccessful IUIs. IVF protocol started with birth control. Due to my chronic hypertension, I can’t birth control pills so I requested an alternative option. I was able to use NuvaRing instead of the pill prior to egg retrieval and transfer. I did 9 days of stimulation prior to egg retrieval. I took Menopur, Omnitrope, and Gonal-F every day. I was also taking synthroid and vitamin because some test results showed I had low thyroid and vitamin d levels. I took a trigger shot before egg retrieval. They retrieved 18 eggs, 10 were mature, and 5 were successfully fertilized using ICSI. By day 5 only 3 were ready for freezing. We did PGT-A testing and 2 came back normal. After retrieval I had a trial embryo transfer and hysteroscopy. The TET went very well but the hysteroscopy showed that I had several uterine polyps that would have to be removed before transfer. I chose to have this done with my OBGYN because of insurance/financial reasons. After polyps were removed we were cleared for transfer. Then COVID-19 happened and our clinic was forced to shut down which canceled our transfer. We were able to get rescheduled 2 months later when the clinic reopened. I did a normal transfer protocol plus omnitrope. I asked about intralipid infusions but Dr. Bush said he didn’t think it was necessary. I heeded his recommendation here and we did not do the infusions. I did do acupuncture for three weeks leading up to transfer, immediately before and after transfer and for three weeks following transfer. Our embryo went through thawing and assisted hatching before transfer. Our transfer was successful and I gave birth to our healthy baby boy in February 2021!

I was able to make all of my monitoring appointments at the beginning of our egg retrieval calendar. All of the monitoring appointments had to be in the morning and I was able to get them scheduled before work which was helpful. I was in and out within 15 minutes and the ultrasound tech and phlebotomist were the sweetest!

Initial consultation: $450 Three IUI procedures: $3,600 One round of IVF cash pay: $17,388.50 This included monitoring, egg retrieval, ICSI fertilization, freezing, thawing, assisted hatching, and first transfer. IVF coordination of care: $986.50 Anesthesia for egg retrieval: $400 IVF meds: $4,122 PHT-A testing: $1,500 Transfer meds: $1,353.54 Polyp removal surgery: $200 I don’t remember costs of acupuncture but I think it was around $2,000 for all sessions.

We agreed with Dr. Bush’s recommendation of transferring one embryo because he and his team showed pretty convincingly how their high rate of pregnancy could lead to a high rate of multiples. And we definitely were not trying for multiples.

Dr. Bush was very straight forward with explanations of our diagnosis. Which I respected because my husband and I were the ones always asking why? If we did not understand it, he would take the time to re-explain the process and procedures (even draw pictures)! He showed his concern with our two failed IVFs and you could tell he was researching everything he could to help us succeed for the next. If you are looking for someone warm and cuddly, he would not be it but his compassion shines through when he is doing the procedures and walking you through the process. He brings his positive attitude every time we see him, and we truly appreciate it.

My advice for a prospective patient is what you see is what you are going to get with Dr. Bush. Expect the information to come at you fast and rapidly but know he cares. It will help if you do research on your end - that way you can have a better more logical conversation with him. He will do what he can to get you pregnant and he is good at his job!

Treatment strategies/protocols IVF #1 - baby aspirin everyday; hCG 2x before transfer, 2x after transfer; 75mg progesterone shots; medrol 4 pills for 4 days before the transfer; Estrace 2mg morning and 2mg at night everyday; estrogen patches everyday; lupron 10 unites injections for 27 days. Went in for regular blood work and ultrasounds, they didn't change anything up really. I think most of my protocol was based off blood work and how my body was reacting. First test I was pregnant with my hcg at 112.6, went back for follow up and I had a chemical pregnancy, my hcg dropped to 18. They suggested doing an ERA (mock transfer) before my next round, we were anxious and decided to pass and start with another transfer. Treatment strategies /protocols for IVF #2 - z-pack; folgard 2.2mg everyday; hCG 2x before transfer, 2x after transfer; Omnitrope 0.5cc for 10 days; 75mg progesterone shots; medrol 4 pills for 4 days before the transfer; Estrace 2mg morning and 2mg at night everyday; estrogen patches everyday; lupron 10 units injections for 23 days and had intralipid infusion. Biggest difference was no baby aspirin this round; but added folgard, z-pack, intralipid infusion and Omnitrope. This round resulted in a negative pregnancy with my hcg levels at 9.23. Again, was suggested doing an ERA - so we did an ERA. Treatment strategies/protocols ERA - (only taking medications till transfer day) folgard 2.2mg everyday; hCG 1x before transfer day; medrol 4 pills 4 days before transfer day; 75 mg progesterone; estrace 2mg in the morning and 2 mg at night; delestrogen shot 0.25ml every 4 days; and lupron 10 units injections for 24 days. This resulted in my ERA coming back as pre-receptive by 12 hours.

With insurance help... Consult was $75; IUIs approx $1,500 Egg retrieval - approx. $5,000 ; medications $5,800 IVF #1 - approx. $4,800; medications $700 IVF #2 - approx. $600; medications $1,500; intralipid infusion $300; ERA - $600; medications $660

I trust my doctors opinion and what is best for my body and my circumstances through all the testing he has done.

He was straight forward, yet took the time to explain all the ins and outs, acronyms, processes, possibilities with us. He knows his areas of strength and has intelligently filled his team with people who can support patients in other ways. He isn't just after the nest numbers (though his numbers are very good) because he sincerely wants the best for his patients. He is very good at what he does and is able to tackle tough situations and conversations with ease.

Be ready. Know that you are in for an in depth conversation, very specific to your body and it's needs. Come with knowledge of the process and common IVF acronyms. It will help expedite the consultation and provide opportunity for you to ask questions.

Tried IUI with estradiol, letrozole and luteal HCG because we hadn't tried IUI yet and infertility was unexplained. When that didn't work (twice), we began egg retrieval stimulation using follistem, menopur and saizen (saizen due to suspected poor egg quality). We froze all embryos for PGD since we didn't know why I couldn't get pregnant, nor why I miscarried. Around retrieval time, I also took doxycycline, nexium and a novarel trigger. The trigger was a half dose due to my high estradiol results. I needed ganirilex injections as I was very close to ovarian hyperstimulation. The next month, I started birth control pills to calm my own hormones and allow doc to control them with meds. For the transfer, I was on lupron, estradiol, and progesterone in oil with medrol right around transfer. After being diagnosed with ashermans and having multiple surgeries to resect the scar tissue, I was on hormone therapy using estradiol 2 mg pills twice a day and del estrogen injections to rebuild the lining. We tried a couple different protocols, using Viagra or Cialis with pentoxy to help encourage uterine lining growth. The final successful cycle involved Viagra, estradiol 2mg, pentoxy, del estrogen and HCG (new study released Dec 2017). I used acupuncture during all if my treatments and it was an integral part of our success and highly recommended by Dr. Bush.

In seven years, one egg retrieval, four transfers and four surgeries, and lots of medication, we spent around $50,000. All things considered, very reasonable.

He was open to our decision but encouraged us to transfer one at a time when we asked him what he would do if he were in our position.

He was very helpful and encouraging. Honest approach and matching to patients real life needs without pushing hai own opinions. I was going through divorce and I needed to save my eggs, and he listened to my needs and goals without judging me unlike CRM Dr.Sarah Barton who said I have low quality eggs in front of my husband and who was going through depression which made the situation even worse. Fertility doctors please don’t do that! Please treat patient as human not as money! Dr.Bush was able to understand what I’m going through and accepted my choice which was to “save my eggs first before I reach 41 years old”. Women should have right to make decision by themselves. I have only one ovary, so it made sense for me to do egg freezing and get as many eggs out as possible instead of doing whole IVF cycle with just one or two eggs.

Do your homework first, be well prepared. Ask Dr.Bush the options you have. Take some time to reconsider the options, and make the choice that you agree with!

I could tell every cycle they were using different strategies and really monitoring the follicles growth. They were manipulating the growth of my follicles by increasing and decreasing the injections unlike Dr.Sarah Barton from CRM who never cared to even manipulate my doses and give me the same dosage of injections until the end.

It was costly, but they never canceled the cycle due to delayed payment. We had great trust developed and I did 6 egg freezing cycles in a row. Sometimes paperwork were not fast enough but still nobody stopped me and choose to trust that I will pay.

I don’t have experience on this procedure yet.

If you’re looking for a doctor who will fight hard and have a “whatever it takes” attitude to be flexible to regiments/protocols for you, he is not it. One size fits all for Dr Bush, he is skilled, and will give it a try as long as you don’t hurt the clinics numbers . If you require customization beyond the basics that should get you pregnant- you won’t get it from him. From my very first consultation with him, I was discouraged but moved forward because of the clinic’s track record (which I now am a bit unsure about because they do not report to SARTS).. I told myself his blunt communication was honesty, and even though the consultation me feeling discouraged I told myself compared to to other consultations that I had with other doctors who had been more encouraging perhaps he was the real deal for not trying to “sell” to me. What I didn’t realize is he was really just showing me from the very beginning that his true focus is who might fit in the clinics successful statistics or not. I wish I would have listened to my intuition in my first consultation which was bleak and had the tone of “why havent you had success” instead of “we’re going to do what is needed to help you”. He had me do a work up to see if he would even “accept” me. After the consultation, I was only able to communicate with him directly two more times on transfer days. I emailed him once and got a response from his nurse that he communicates through them only. Strengths: Transfer skills and monitoring Weaknesses: Everything else. Zero flexibility to your needs, he is not willing to try different protocols, accept embryos from any other facility you may transfer from, take a closer look or customize to you -the problem is going to be “you”- it’s never going to be anything else. Bottom line- He has a well ran machine and formula I’ll give him that - but if you don’t fit his set formula he will just tell you that quote unquote: “you just fit in the percentage that’s not successful” at their clinic and emphasize their clinic numbers that ARE successful. Which will make you feel more horrible as a failure. Emphasizing clinic success rates as an answer at the time of someone’s failure and need to know what they can do to be successful is inconsiderate and arrogant. It was a VERY low point for me. I read he did this in others reviews and it should have been another red flag to me. But I hoped I would be on the other side of his clinic’s questionable statistics to not have to deal with that. I can’t emphasize enough that he only cares about the clinic’s numbers. If you fit the formula, he can bring you success. **If you need customization to get success - he will not be willing to customize for you.** With this doctor you either fit in his preset formula…. or you don’t. That’s it.

Take a look at other reviews and see that there are stark differences in initial consultations. Some will say how positive he was and reassuring that he could help him. Others like mine are the complete opposite. If you don’t get a decent positive tone of wanting to help you in your consultation- run. Don’t take it as honesty and move forward like I did. Because what that tone is telling you - is that he doesn’t think you may fit into their set formula of protocols and ideal patient candidates. And if you don’t fit, he is not going to be flexible or customize anything for you- so you’re wasting your time. Stop and find another doctor at that point.

I did two rounds and protocols were pretty much the same regardless of results. Rationale was never given for the protocols. We got 1 embryo from the first round and 0 embryos from the second round before I moved forward to donor eggs.

He allowed me to transfer two pgs tested embryos in my donor egg round, which resulted in a chemical pregnancy.

We personally had a great experience with Dr Bush. He is very confident in his abilities and we had success twice over with him. You don’t have much interaction with your doctors but the interactions we did have with him were pleasant and professional and he has a good sense of humor.

Do not expect to see him every appointment. Have trust in the nursing staff and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself if you think something is wrong

Due to my age, he had me do testosterone gel prior to starting my round of IVF. He also had me use HGH in combination with all of the other hormones in the antagonist protocol and with both transfers (second transfer was to my wife). We were able to get 3 normal embryos and after two transfers 2 healthy babies.

As a lesbian couple when talking to people they we all very accepting and I never felt judged. However… all of the forms are so heteronormative. Please fix that!!

About 7K oop for retrieval and transfer and 2k oop for second transfer

They had us meet with a therapist to talk about using donor material and talking about that with our children. Otherwise they handled everything with Cryogam well.

My husband and I have had nothing short of an amazing experience with Dr. Bush and his team at Conceptions. We are 3 for 3 with our frozen embryo transfers and have 3 amazing children that we can't imagine living without. We are about to move forward on transferring our 4th and final embryo and trust that this cycle will be as successful as the first 3. Dr. Bush is intelligent, kind and is truly an expert in his field. We live in Tampa, Florida and chose Conceptions in Colorado because none of the doctors we interviewed compared to Dr. Bush. He is thorough, straight-forward and detail oriented. We have zero complaints. If you choose Conceptions, you will not be disappointed.

Trust him and do what he suggests, you will not be disappointed. He is direct, but also compassionate.

We only had singles transferred. Dr. Bush was confident that a single would be successful and it was. This was important to us because we did not want multiples.

Dr. Bush, from the outset, gave us hope and optimism that parenthood could be achieved. While it took a while, he ultimately made that dream come true and we are forever indebted to him for it. We met with him a handful of times through the journey -- but were lucky enough to have his expertise for the egg retrieval and all three transfers. When faced with setbacks or disappointment, Dr. Bush welcomed us for WTF conversations and adjusted the plan to produce better results. We absolutely would recommend him to anyone wanting to achieve the ultimate goal of parenthood. Dr. Bush made it happen.

Don't be taken aback by Dr. Bush's demeanor in the meetings in his office. He is direct, confident and generally not "warm and fuzzy". BUT he is brilliant and you are hiring someone to make you a parent, not become your best friend. Once I reminded myself of that, my expectations of our interactions were adjusted and I came to appreciate his approach, confidence and care.

PCOS diagnosis- Agonist protocol for IVF following three failed rounds of IUI. Egg retrieval resulted in 18 eggs, 12 fertilized, 8 made it to day 6-7. Of those 8, 6 tested genetically normal and were frozen. First transfer- resulted in positive pregnancy test and graduation from clinic. However, miscarriage at 12 weeks occurred. Second transfer- adjusted protocol to include intralipid infusion. Resulted in a negative pregnancy test. ERA cycle- resulted in normal results but helpful for diagnostic puroposes and for me getting focused and centered as the patient. Third transfer- addition of blood thinner, additional growth hormone, and hydroxychloroquine. Transferred two tested embryos, both stuck. Positive pregnancy test resulting in the healthy birth of boy/girl twins.

We spent about $50k to achieve our highest goal of becoming parents. We ended up with twins, and even if it had been only one baby, we know it was worth every penny.

Dr. Bush was clear that multiple embryo transfers were off the table until all other options had been exhausted. First two transfers were eSET. Third transfer utilized two embryos to increase the chance of success, and resulted in fraternal twins. Dr. Bush was clear with us about the potential risks of a multiple embryo transfer and we ultimately let him decide on transfer day if one or two would be used. We are thrilled with the result.

De Bush is really profesional and knowledge , he will take the time to explain everything to you . He also will tell you the truth in your face he will not create false expectations . He will take the time to treat you as an individual and review the right treatment for you to end up with a baby in your arms . We are going with him and we are hopeful that we will have a baby at the end .

Take the time to research to ask the right questions , make a list ... have him give you the best treatment that he suggest .

He did check me every day with blood work and ultrasound así I won’t be on risk of OHSS . He will look all the details and try to give you the correct answer .

Dr Bush was a great person when he decided to give me a discount for my treatment and he did manage this personally with me and a great nurse Sarah Lee , they were really nice to me when it comes to price for the treatment .

I did want to do a transfer on me but doctor bush will research about my situation first and we will discuss the best treatment for me . Also I would like to transfer 2 embryos but he only do 1 at the time .

Dr. Bush is very welcoming. He is straight forward, but with good bed side manors. I feel like Dr. Bush truly cares about my husband and I and wants to see us have a baby. Through our journey he has informed us of each step, and when the IUI’s did work he went over why and we looked at our next option.

Trust in the process, Dr. Bush would not steer you in the wrong direction

We started out by trying IUI’s. When those didn’t work we moved to IVF. On top of the normal protocol I did have to have my uterus scraped as I had polyps. Since I only have 1 good embryo Dr. Bush suggested I do an ERA biopsy to give us the best chance. That is currently where we are at in our journey as covid-19, has pushed everything back a little.

IVF was about 15,000, egg retrieval medication was about 5,000, genetic testing was 1,500, ERA biopsy was about 1,600.

For the most part Dr. Bush transfers one. As he states twins/multiples are hard to carry.

Mark Bush was arrogant and patronizing. He rarely allowed me to finish a thought, almost always cutting me off before I could finish what I was saying. He was quick to place a label on my infertility diagnosis without looking at all the labwork and results, and then later changed his diagnosis when he looked just a bit more thoroughly at my labwork. He spent a lot of time talking about his successful IVF statistics and pushing IVF at us when we were not feeling ready to take that step, wanting to being with a couple rounds of IUI.

His IVF success statistics are good, so I'm sure he is a smart and competent doctor. But his bedside manner, compassion, and attention to details were abysmal. Ultimately, I decided that in this difficult and stressful journey, I wanted a doctor who listened to me, treated me like a human, and didn't patronize me.

Dr. Bush was great in the initial consultation, he made me hand my husband feel optimistic about our potential to get pregnant. We were nervously excited about the process and were disappointed that after that meeting we would not see or speak with Dr. Bush again until the egg retrieval. It is also requires an act of congress to even speak with Dr. Bush even if requested. Although I know he's a great doctor, his success rates can speak for themselves, it was a bit of a disappointment to not be working with him as much as we had thought.

Make sure to do your homework before each appointment so that you know what to ask because getting answers after the fact is a challenge.

I was on the Antagonist/Saizen protocol and I do not know why.

Dr. Bush strongly suggests eSET due to the riskiness of multiple birth pregnancies.

I only met Dr Bush in person at the time of egg retrieval. But it was very clear that he was personally directing the day to day management of my cycle. He is meticulous. I never felt like I was being pushed off to a nurse or secretary.

He’s not super warm and fuzzy from what I understand, so if this is something you need then he’s not for you. But he works miracles and I know he will help me have my baby.

Started with Birth control and added growth hormone after. Then did antagonist protocol (menopur/follistim/ganerelix). Daily blood and US once I arrived in CO. Trigger with lupron and pregnyl and ovidrel.

Initial consult was 175$. IVF cycle with PGS was about 16K. Nurse coordination fee around 1000. Plane tickets to Denver and back 250$ 8 nights hotel 900$ (they had discount agreements). Rental car 300$. Transfer of donor sperm vial from old clinic to new clinic 750$.

Have not transferred yet. Waiting for PGS results.

He doesn’t have the best bed Side manner but that didn’t really matter to us because we know that he knows what he’s doing and gets the job done. Our conversations with him were very quick but again it didn’t really matter because we were always taken care of very diligently by his nurses and staff and could ask them any question. We knew Dr Bush was very busy and couldn’t sit and chat for hours and that was fine. He just needed to be there for the transfer and consultations and that was good with us.

To not be discouraged by his lack of bed side manner. He isn’t meaning to be rude or dismissive.

Uterine testing, blood work, and mock transfer before moving forward with a FET cycle. Once all that was clear and good to go I got on birth control. When my period started and we were ready for the actual transfer part I got on several medications such as Lupron, estrogen patches, estrogen pills, estrogen suppositories, progesterone in oil , HCG injection , baby aspirin, vitamin D, prenatal. I’m probably forgetting a couple but there were a lot to remember.

We did an embryo adoption so there were a few thousand dollars for lawyer fees and genetic parents blood work. Then a couple more thousand for uterine testing, mock transfer, and blood work. Medication was about $1,800 and the actual transfer was $5,610

Dr. Bush exhibited a great balance of compassion and intelligence. Once under his care I had a renewed hope that we would successfully conceive. He made me feel like our case was a priority and he was very adamant that the staff working with us treated us in the same manner. All of the tweaks that he made to our protocol were thoughtful and made sense.

Dr. Bush has vast experience in fertility. He talks fast and often explains things at a high level. If you have any questions at all about what he's explaining or why he wants you to do a certain test or take a certain medication be sure to ask him to elaborate further and in simpler terms if necessary. He is a Dr. that uses a more scientific approach rather than a holistic one.

Before scheduling my embryo transfer Dr. Bush performed a hysteroscopy and saw that there was a build of scar tissue in my uterus. He performed surgery to remove that scar tissue and then used estrogen to thicken my uterine lining for a couple of months prior to transfer. He also used Viagra to raise the volume of blood flow to the uterus. It was very important to him that my uterus lining was thick enough to allow for successful implantation

IVF is expensive but they do take most insurances. If you don't have insurance coverage one IVF cycle will be 25-35K depending on your specific protocol.

Dr. Bush will only allow up to two embryos to be transferred at one time. Typically, only one is recommended but in some cases they will support implantation of two depending on the case. In my situation we transferred two embryos and had one healthy implantation.

I cannot express enough how different Conceptions was different to every other fertility doctor I have gone to. I have long been diagnosed as having PCOS. The doctors at other Denver infertility offices (like CCRM) stated my infertility issues were caused by weight and refused to administer any IVF medication. ( I weighed 177 lbs.) Dr. Bush did not bring up my weight ONCE during my journey with him. He treated me like a human with a legitimate medical issue causing infertility. He started me on the IVF process immediately after initial testing. After FIVE years of trying to get other infertility offices to help me I got pregnant after my first run of IVF with Dr. Bush. My baby is due in August of this year and I will always be grateful to Dr. Bush and the entire Conceptions staff.

Trust Dr. Bush and his staff. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Be patient. IVF can be a long process.

Dr Bush went straight to IVF which was refreshing because other Denver infertility offices (Albrecht Women's Care). Made me do three IUI attempts and refused to do IVF on me which was a huge waste of money. Dr Bush did more detailed testing of my hormone levels than any other infertility Dr did. I have PCOS so weekly testing of my hormone levels was necessary which no other Dr's did. I never made near enough Progesterone on my own, even after becoming pregnant, so Dr Bush had me take Progesterone injections until my fourth month of pregnancy when the placenta finally starting making enough Progesterone to keep the pregnancy. I'm confident that with any other Dr I would have lost the pregnancy.

The ultrasound technician at the Sky Ridge location was one of my favorite people to visit during the process. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. The ultrasounds were quick and painless. I even got to do my first pregnancy ultrasound at their offices. Their ultrasound machines were top of the line and showed amazing detail.

The billing department was very good about working with my insurance and making sure I was fully aware of any co-pays before they were due.

My insurance would only pay for IVF if I did a single transfer so I never had to have the multiples conversation with Dr Bush.

Dr. Bush put me in the mindset of a pit boss at the casino. With that, I mean that he was thee to make sure you were going to spend/lose your money with him and only him! During my one and only consultation, all he spoke about was money and other clinics, he really did not discuss with me how his clinic was better and/or how he was going to help get us pregnant. Which is all we care about. We do t care about his feelings toward other clinics and why we should not use other clinics, but tell me why you’re clinic is the best choice. Additionally, Dr.Bush misled me with stats where he boasted that his clinic was the best, after things didn’t make sense, I looked on SART only to realize that his clinic was not even listed on SART, so how can he state that his clinic has best stats in Colorado if he is not a member of SART? Just very disappointed with him and his practice.

If I were going to advise a prospective patient, I would tell them to find a clinic that is SART certified. I would let them know that Dr. Bush will not meet with you because he is too busy, he is too busy to do a regroup, his one nurse sometimes takes days to get a response from him and more importantly that Dr.Bush will not adjust any treatment, he pretty much will just keep going and hope it turns out good which makes for ineffective treatment.

Dr.Bush suggested doing a standard protocol with injectables, however, when his nurse was out of town and no one returned my call, Dr.Bush attempted to rush my treatment by just starting just to start. To be quite honest, I can not tell you what his rationale is/was because his nurse handles everything and appears to be making decisions on dosage and such. The results were failed cycle because no one was really handling my care.

I don’t recall. He did accept military insurance and did offer military discount for service.

Dr Bush is by far and wide one of the best REs in Colorado, if not the entire country. He knows what he's talking about and his track record speaks volumes. My experience as a patient has always been very positive. I never felt like a number, he always knew where we have been and where we were headed next. He also always seemed to remember names of our kids, after we had gone back for subsequent transfers. He never talked down to us and he was more than happy to explain anything I asked about.

Iui was around $7k per cycle. IVF was around $20k to include 1 transfer (fresh or frozen). Each subsequent transfer was $5k without medication costs.

Dr Bush was always very upfront that he wanted to transfer only 1 embryo at a time. He didnt want a high risk pregnancy for me and I didn't either. It wasn't an issue for me - aligned with my prior decision.

He speaks a bit fast and for a Southern woman it was a bit hard to keep up. We hit the ground running that day and was able to do a few different things as I was about to do an IUI with my OB and he made alterations to the sperm wash for my husband. He was genuine and kind.

Take notes and ask him to slow down if he's going to fast.

We have medications in place if my lining is not thick enough and a game plan for what will happen if things look good or not. Lots of detailed communication and waiting on results as my treatment with him is still inprogress

Cost are high but they include a lot more than other places. Also they work with income and really want everyone to have a chance to conceive

I was surprised that Dr. Bush was up to speed on my case during my initial consult with him. He listened to me and gave me his thoughts. We were able to create a plan that I was happy with, and I felt that he saw me as a person and not another patient at his clinic. He responds to all my questions that I ask my nurse to ask him by the end of the day. He also was knowledgeable about IVIG during FET, which was wonderful!

Dr. Bush was blunt and up front with his concerns and thoughts. If you want a doctor who is soft and comforts you, I don't think Dr. Bush is for you. He was straight and to the point, which is what I was looking for. Our in person consult was short, less than 15 mins.

Before our consult, Dr. Bush already had an idea of what plan he wanted to take with me, and we both agreed during our consult. Our plan was to see if I could build a lining for a FET with my previous frozen embryos, and if not, we would use a surrogate. We decided to do three months of estrogen orally and vaginally and if I am responding well to add injectable estrogen in my third month trial. He wanted to try this 3 month trial to see what my body can do, so that we are not wasting one of our frozen embryos.

We already had frozen embryos when we met with Dr. Bush. So far we are in the initial process and are paying out of pocket for consults, ultrasounds and bloodwork. So far we have probably spent just under $1,000 in 4 months on bloodwork and ultrasounds, and our initial consult.

Dr. Bush highly recommended we only to a eSET, because our embryos are CCS tested.

Dr. Bush is very innovative and quite brilliant. While it's known he is the doctor at Conceptions that is the "most direct" we really appreciated this. He spoke to us like we were intelligent (rather than dumbing anything down for us) and gave us an aggressive protocol suggestion. He knew our case very well and kept the conversation focused on our end goal, which is biological children.

Come with a list of questions and don't expect small talk. You'll meet with a nurse following your meeting to process everything that was discussed.

My third retrieval next month will be with Dr. Bush. We are going to try some new approaches to increase my egg quality, if possible. I am priming with testosterone, estrogen, and HGH. My stim cycle will be with Menopur-only and I will be doing a triple trigger.

This clinic's success rates are very high so they rarely transfer multiple embryos, in hopes to lower the chance of high-risk pregnancies.

I felt very comfortable and confident in Dr Bush. He went the extra mile to ensure that testing and procedures were done correctly and reviewed all labs / results personally. He was always honest and candid in answering questions and making recommendations. He was always willing to explain everything. I felt that he was also always one step ahead with a plan in place if needed next. In addition, we travelled from out of state to see Dr Bush and he was willing to work with labs and Ultrasounds done locally. Thanks to Dr Bush, I have 3 beautiful children and was told previously that I likely would never be a mother.

You may have to wait a while for consult with Dr Bush (we did telephone due to distance), but it is well worth the wait.

Dr. Bush is extremely knowledgeable and even though he isn't the warmest personality, he knows what he is doing and is committed to the best course of treatment for a successful outcome. Our previous doctor at Conceptions left to start a practice in another location and he had done a fresh transfer that resulted in our son. It wasn't even a tough decision on who would take over treatment for our frozen transfer for baby number 2 as we knew Dr. Bush was the best and would get us pregnant. Even though we only met with Dr. Bush in the initial meeting to plan the frozen transfer and the transfer itself, I knew he was managing care behind the scenes and trusted the decisions he was making. If you are looking for hand holding throughout the process, Dr. Bush might not be for you, but he certainly will do everything he can to get you pregnant.

Ask questions! He might not be as forthcoming with your treatment but will answers questions that you have so be prepared when you meet with him.

I am incredibly lucky to have great insurance coverage for infertility so I only spent about $1,200 for my frozen transfer including medications

Dr. Bush felt strongly that we only transfer one single embryo which was absolutely the best medical course of action and in the best interest of myself and a pregnancy.

Dr. Bush is not super warm and fuzzy, but he is honest. He gives examples of what he things and why and gave me a ton of information from the get go. He was very blunt about my AMH level and that continuing with IUIs would be wasting my time and my eggs. I liked that. We have a follow up on Thursday to discuss the egg retrieval. I know he is very confident in his ability and he wants to keep up his success rates, so I know he will continue to work hard to get me pregnant.

Be blunt, and ask questions. He talks very fast, but wants to be informative.

He had me start a ton of vitamins, including CoQ10, Acai Berry, Myo-Inositol, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, L-Arginine, and DHA. Started those in December and then started priming in January. Due to my low AMH, they didn't prime me with birth control, instead after ovulation, I did 3 Cetrotide injections. Then started stims on Day 3 of my next cycle. Started with 3 vials of menopur and 0.7 iu of omnitrope in the morning and 225 of gonal at night. Increased Gonal to 375 on CD7. Then on cycle day 8 added a vial of menopur at night. By CD 10 they added a 2nd vial of menopur at night.

The great thing about Dr. Bush's office is that all costs are on the website and they are all up front and honest. You don't have to jump through any hoops to get information. It is $19,411 for a full IVF cycle with PGS testing and ICSI included. This does not include medications, but is well priced overall.

We only have one embryo to transfer... But I believe Dr. Bush prefers to transfer only one, since it is less risky as far as pregnancy goes.

Dr Bush is a very intelligent man with a strong knowledge base. He practices reproductive therapy with an evidence based approach. He makes changes appropriately with poor or unexpected cycle outcomes. He sometimes speaks using a lot of difficult to understand medical terminology but uses illustrations and graphics to help explain in a more understandable way.

Expect a lot of information to be given by Dr. Bush and don't be afraid to ask for clarification if you don't understand something.

IVF #1 Antagonist protocol using GonalF, Menopur and Cetrotide. Dual HcG and Lupron trigger. Freeze all. Rational: PCOS Diagnosis, high risk for OHSS. Results: poor responder: 3 eggs, 2 Mature, 1 fertilized did not make it to blast. IVf #2 Long Lupron with Menopur only. HCG trigger. ICSI/CCS freeze all. rational: risk for OHSS, Probable poor egg quality. Results: 14 retrieved, 11 Mature, 9 Fertilized, 6 Blastocysts- 2 euploid.

Costs were affordable and inline with the national average.
