Dr. Abdallah did not seem passionate about his job. He was eager to give his spiel on infertility but not as eager to hear questions, though the questions I asked were answered. Respectfully, his accent was difficult at times for me to understand; specifically, in speaking on the phone he said 14% which I heard as 40%. In this realm of calculating probabilities, that was a huge misstep. I called to speak with him directly and he called back at 5:01pm the same day. I missed the call but could not call back because it was after hours. I did not hear back for over a week and 2 additional phone calls to him later.

I did not pursue treatment with Dr. Abdallah after the initial consult and lab draw. I had a gut feeling and ultimately did not feel well cared for in this office.

We trust Dr Abdallah completely. He took the time to make sure we were comfortable, and understood every step of the process. We love Dr A and would recommend him to anyone with fertility needs. He’s the most compassionate doctor I’ve ever met.

Trust him. If you’re with a nurse and have questions, speak up. He was always willing to meet with us last minute, and if he was at another location and you just don’t want to wait, he is willing to do phone consults as well. Communicate what you need and he is willing to help!

I have endometriosis and a diminished ovarian reserve. We did 3 rounds of IUI (insurance didn’t pay for IVF so we wanted to try IUI first), the. Moved to IVF. Even with very few follicles, he was able to retrieve 4, and created 2 embryos. We did a fresh transfer on day 3, which resulted in a successful pregnancy.

Costs varied and I was lucky that most of my procedures were covered by insurance.

Dr. Abdallah has been very thorough will helping us figure out different issues that we have with infertility. I’ve had a lot of different answers and diagnoses during this entire process and none of them made sense or added up... Dr. Abdallah ended any questions or concerns we had about prior diagnoses and answered them with positivity of what the diagnoses was... for once, everything made sense to us.

The only issue I could foresee for someone else is maybe understanding/ being able to translate his accent.. I understood it very well but I can see where it could be misunderstood.

I was diagnosed with unicornate uterus 4 years ago with then another doctor to tell me my uterus was normal and MRI that stated was normal as well... dr Abdallah wanted us to redo hysteroscopy to find out for sure and turns out I do have unicornate uterus. I’ve had 2 prior IVF cycles with low AMH and poor egg quality, both retrievals only resulted with 1 5 day blast, we transferred both two separate times and both resulted with negatives. Dr. Abdallah got us comfortable with the fact of possibly needing donor eggs... we purchased 8 frozen eggs... we didn’t have anything to transfer on day 5, we were sent home on our transfer day, sadly... nothing day ... day 7 we got 1 blast and had to freeze due to covid19.... but being that it was a day 7, the odds are probably not in our favor.

I’ve had 2 own eggs cycles with another doctor other than Abdallah... we spent $20,000+ for those cycles. With Dr. Abdallah we have currently spent $18,000 for donor eggs cycle and waiting to transfer my 1 day 7 embryo.

We chose donor eggs after 2 failed own eggs cycle.

I have been followed by Dr M Abdallah for about 2 years now . He came highly recommended from my OB and it was the best and easiest decision i ever took . From the moment i met him , he was very patient , kind , and attentive . He was always there for me , answered all my questions ( pages of them ) and even came back from vacation to see me thru an urgent matter . Dr abdallah is very thorough , kind and trustworthy . I am beyond grateful for what he has done for me and will forever be in his debt . Because of him i get to finally be a mom at 48 . Dr Abdallah made me feel comfortable ,confident , safe , brave when i was scared , calm when i was nervous , and always hopeful that everything will be OK. He has been my rock throughout this whole process and i could not have been in better hands . Dr Abdallah cares about his patients , their well-being and he makes you feel like he is on your side and will always support you . He also has an amazing team of nurses and phlebotomist . Dr. Abdallah was very thorough in explaining the ins and outs of IVF to both my husband and myself. He truly cares about his patients and their success in getting and maintaining a pregnancy. I never once had a doubt that he didn't know how to handle every situation as ours is truly different. He makes the process easy and smooth leaving out no small details.

Ask all the questions you can think of and listen carefully as he does have an accent.

For surrogacy, it was a frozen transfer and he used Progesterone in Oil, Estrace and Estrogen patches. He was willing to switch to Progesterone suppositories if I chose once we received heartbeat confirmation.

IVF is about $12,500 and medicines can range from $2,500 - $7,000

He prefers eSET over multiple embryos as he feels that the risks of multiples outweighs the chance of having to do more than one transfer. He truly cares about the patient and how their bodies will react to a multiples pregnancy.

He was a poor communicator and spoke very fast. He mumbled and his accent is very strong. I felt that he pushed for donor eggs because that was easier for him to get a success. He was very mellow which is nice but I didn't feel important. There was no enthusiasm in his work.

Interview him and other doctors. If you choose him, don't expect to see him but once and tell him to speak slower.

IUI was gonal alone with a trigger. We had several follicles but it didn't work. I was not explained the reason for the protocol until I asked a nurse.

The IUI was around $2k. IVF was covered via insurance.

He said due to my quality we'd transfer 2.

Dr. Abdallah ran tests and SA and informed us right away of our results and what our chances would be with each cycle whether it was natural and medicated or IUI. He is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Go in with lots of questions and be prepared for results.

We were given all options when we first started treatments. We began with medicated natural for two cycles then on to IUI. After no success and more blood work we were told that our only option was IVF due to low AMH.

All blood work was covered by insurance. SA and upcoming cycles we're all paid OOP.

Dr. of dollars a great physician he really explained what was going on in my own body that I didn’t understand he is a very quick talker and sometimes it has to be broken down a little bit more and he’s very upfront and he’s very honest on the options that you have and he’s very much there for you emotionally and mentally and he always give you reassurance before we jump straight in the IVF there so many more options that you have let’s try every single option before we do that where as other doctors that I have seen have always pushed just IVF dr. of dollars a great physician he really explained what was going on in my own body that I didn’t understand he is a very quick talker and sometimes it has to be broken down a little bit more he’s very upfront and he’s very honest on the options that you have and he’s very much there for you emotionally and mentally I am and he always gives you reassurance before we jump straight into IVF there so many more options that you have let’s try every single option before we do that where as other doctors that I have seen have always push just IVF he is also knows that I’m only 26 I have healthy eggs He tested my husband sperm quality and made sure that there was no reason that there would be any trouble and my husband and he made sure genetically that we are OK to have children and he wants to pursue other options considering we’re both young and we’re both relatively healthy and he also was upfront with me and told me you know your weight you are overweight and that can be a barrier on you getting pregnant and I was very appreciative of that all in all everyone at HFI is incredible

Be open honest and be ready to hear things that are difficult to hear but he’s not going to beat around the bush he’s very upfront he’s very honest but as a patient you want someone who’s going to be honest with you someone who’s not gonna tell you that this is gonna work and it’s not and you want someone who’s going to look out for your best interest and that’s what he does

For my protocol and generally the protocol at HFI I really appreciate Is that he’s honest he’s upfront about the medicines what’s going to work injectables work better versus pills this pill will work versus this pill and win a pill is no longer working he sits down with you he says all right let’s try something different try upping the dose he’s very open with how your body responds to things and instead of just doing one iui two back to back Iui His staff is very diligent on making sure your blood work and everything is perfectly lined up and if it’s not he’s willing to step in and explain OK this is why it’s not working this is what caused it to not to work and this is how we’re going to fix it

So most of the cost of the IUI is covered by my insurance I do pay $300 out of pocket and then I am I do you have like co-pays for my meds or the other dr so most of the cost of the IUI is covered by my insurance I do pay $300 out-of-pocket and then I do have like co-pays for my meds that are covered and there some medicine that isn’t covered and that’s unfortunately the reason why we haven’t done IVF or havent done shots and we’ve only done femera Because unfortunately financially we can’t pay $1000-$2000 for shots even though my doctor is very upfront and said they would work better

Amazing informed doctor, always keeps the patient's best interest in mind. Personally called me multiple times to answer any questions or concerns I had. Never moved forward unless I eas totally comfortable.

Be honest and do not be shy to voice all of your concerns. He cannot help you if he does not know what you are thinking.

Dr. Abdallah was very kind and sensitive about financial problems and did everything in his power to work with our budget and recommended certain studies.

Dr. Abdullah is very understanding he listen and also guides me in the direction of fertility he is an amazing Dr. he treats his patients with CARE I have been going to Dr. Abdullah since 2019-2023 He tells me the steps I need to follow even when I tell him IVF is expensive he also lets me know there are grants that would be able to help with my IVF treatment.

I have being using Dr Mazen Abdallah as my fertility doctor for 2years now. He recommended IUI. Have heard 2 chemical pregnancy, 1 miscarriage and 1 no pregnancy. Still trying to conceive. Overall Nice doctor but his team treat you as numbers

We came to Dr. Abdallah asking him to try IUI again. He explained the low odds of success but came up with a plan to be more aggressive than our previous IUIs and helped us to complete a cycle of IUI at our request before moving on to IVF. He was patient and thorough in all of our conversations. I appreciated that he sat down with us and reviewed our whole case after the IUI and discussed how we could personalize the next treatment for us.
