Dr Grossman is an excellent Dr. I wouldn’t change him for anyone. He is thorough and very attentive to my needs. He is knowledgeable in every aspect of fertility and very warm with great bedside manner.

Be open, ask a lot of questions big or small. Dr Grossman will answer every one of them.

I used 300 Gonal & 20 low dose hcg for 9 days, Cetrotide for 6 days & double lupron dose 12 hours apart. I retrieved 22 eggs and did not develope ohss as Dr Grossman recommended. I was in no pain and healed super fast. My doses never had to be adjusted, they were perfect for me.

So far I have a payment plan which is $3900 for the ivf, $650 for outside monitoring, plus $250 for finance charges over 2 years for financing. I had $40 co pays & $50 for hcg wash. I will be adding intralipids for my current transfer cycle so that will cost $100 to administer. Medication was approx $2500 so far. My ultrasounds have been $77 and labwork about $100 each visit.

Depending on your age and specific fertility issues Dr. Grossman will recommend how many embryos is best for each individual patient.

He sounded passionate about keto and how he lives his life with keto. He talked a lot, but mostly about himself. He did explain things to us really well and drew diagrams while explaining when we asked questions. . I just don’t like that I was set for an IUI plan on first consult when I need to have a lap and my partner needs to see a urologist. If it was up to CNY and I wasn’t smart, I would just proceed with the steps for the IUI while waiting for lap and urologist, where they could potentially find Endo and Vericole.

Do research, talk to people and get all your diagnostic tests done before proceeding with the treatment they set you up for.

LDN, Clomid, Z-pack, Prednisone, IUI, and timed intercourse after also.

We were told the consult was free burly got a bill from insurance today that stayed it was charged $400 for the visit.

Dr grossman is a fun guy, made me feel comfortable right off the bat. Sat us down and explained it all from top to bottom and explained what he thought the best course of action would be for us. Explained everything so well, we didn’t have questions. When I had an ectopic pregnancy, he came in the room with the nurse, held my hand and explained it wasn’t my fault. He advised he would perform surgery and explained the whole process. He was extremely compassionate and didn’t make me feel like I was just another patient. I felt like he really cared and was there for us. I honestly do not have anything negative to say about him.

Go into the appointment open minded. And ready for lots of info.

Since I was unexplained infertility he suggested we start with iui with letrozole. We did 3 cycles that were unsuccessful so he added gonal f injection which resulted in a positive pregnancy, but ended up being ectopic. We tried 3 more the same way and he then switched us to ivf with immune protocol.

My insurance didn’t cover ivf however the iui and monitoring was covered. CNY has payment plans to assist with costs which was amazing and they are very affordable

Dr grossman and the nurses suggested for us 1 embryo to transfer. He stated due to my age, a positive pregnancy test prior and no medical history that it “should” take. And it did :)

He is compassionate, understanding, humorous and wonderful Dr. who is doing everything within his power to make me and my fiancé’s dream to come true of becoming parents. He has excellent communication skills and top notch bedside manner. Through my disappointments he never made me feel or think that any of it was my fault I couldn’t ask for a better Doctor.

He is awesome and takes your input into consideration and will implement them if possible you will never walk away thinking I’m confused he will answer any questions you may have no matter how crazy you may think it is.

Menopur 75iu, Follistim AQ 150iu, Cetrotide 0.25mg,estrace 2mg twice per day, progesterone in oil 1ml per day, Endometrin 100mg twice per day. I became pregnant on my first FET but ended in miscarriage due to trisomy 22 at 9 weeks.

IVF$3900 not including medication or monitoring. FET$250 x 3, HCG wash $50 X3 Once Weekly intralipids till pregnancy test $100 x 7 or more

His approach was to transfer one embryo however, I elected to transfer 2 at each transfer and he did inform me of the risks.

The morning of my day 5 fresh transfer my fiance and I had our hearts set on transferring 2 embros. At this time we didn't know the grading of the embros nor did we know how many made it to Blastocytes. When Dr.Groosman entered the room he asked if I was covered and for permission to enter, he came in and introduced himself and shook my hand and my fiance's. He asked how I was feeling and if I was warm and comfortable. He asked if we had any questions for him, both my fiance and I were kinda at a loss for words even tho we had discussed our thoughts over and over. He asked our thoughts on how many embros we wanted to transfer, we both at the same time said 2. We then asked him how many made it to the blastocyte stage. He asked his nurse to go grab the picture of the 2 that made it to Blastocytes and we're close to hatching. He then said that he looked over my history and had seen that I had been counciled by the nurse we had seen since day one, he then asked our permission to go over the risks of transferring 2- and made sure we understand that having multiples can be risky for both Mom and baby's. He then showed us the picture of the two embros that he felt we're our best chance, but told us it was our choice. He also discussed the other 4 embros and how he felt allow them to grow to day 6 and then freeze. Once we all agreed, and the transfer started, he made sure to tell me what he was doing, before doing it, and if I had any questions to please ask. When he told the nurse it was time to have the embroologist bring the embros in, he said that he thinks we made a great choice and he hopes to make our dream of parents come true. He said that at the end of the day, all that matters to him is that he helps me to become Pregnant. The man has the patience of a saint, I would soal heartly recommend him and have to anyone.

To make sure you listen to his advice, as he truly is the best as what he does. And to ask as many questions, he has all the correct answers

We were only male factor. So I was on a pretty standard protocol. My stimming cycle was: 225 mg GONAL-F 75 mg Menopur 0.25 mg Cetrotide 0.08 mg leuprolide for trigger- 2 times 12 hours apart. He also recommend I do acupuncture before and after transfer and if I had the ability to take the next day or two off of work to relax.

The cost of medication was completely separate. The cost of IVF and freezing of remaining embros for one year was $3900 The cost of monitoring at CNY was $850

He knew we were educated on the risk, even tho he went over it with us again. He felt we were making the right choice

As previously mentioned, Dr. Grossman was great. We felt well cared for and were given time and attention to our needs and questions. We felt we could ask anything and received compassionate but realistic responses. The only downside was that after our consultation and procedures, we have not met with him for almost a year. The nurses have handled everything from then on.

Come with all of you questions! There’s nothing you can’t ask.

As part of the routine diagnostic testing, I also underwent an HSG procedure to confirm my remaining tube was open. We tried a few natural cycles next. I had previously used clomid with many terrible Side effects so next we moved to letrozole. I used letrozole with timed intercourse and IUIs for several cycles. We’re now moving into injectable IUI cycles

Most costs have been covered by my insurance. I only pay the copay. However, NO COST is covered in relation to IVF treatment. As I move closer and closer to IVF, the financial burden makes me feel like this may not be an option.

At our initial consult my husband and I went in knowing what we were looking for and wanted. Dr. Grossman provided the details and risks of the whole IVF process and thoroughly answered any questions we had. Our goal was to achieve our plan and he more than helped us with that!

Be honest about what you are looking for in the long run as a patient. He wont beat around the bush and will fully answer any questions you may have as well as help you achieve your goals.

I was on injections before my egg retrieval to help prepare my eggs fpr the procedure. For transfer I was put on progesterone injections and estrogen inserts.

IVF was roughly $4,000. Testing the embryos was $750 from cny and another $1,200 from the lab that I wasn't told about until my results were held from me until I could pay the unexpected fee. It was $850 for monitoring before my egg retrieval. There is a $250 fee on transfer day. And they charge for each appointment and ultrasound done once you find out you're pregnant. However I didnt find that last part out until I recieved my bill. The only thing that helped when I wasn't told about the extra fees were the fact I was able to add them to my payment plan. Everything except the lab fee from testing my embryos.

It was strongly recommended to transfer one embryo due to the fact my risk of twins would be high if I transferred two. I had 8 Grade A embryos out of 32. I only had 8 tested. My husband and I made the decision to transfer two embryos so we had a higher chance of one of them implanting. Now we are blessed and expecting twins in April and couldn't be happier!

Dr.Grossman communicates very well and explained the process and expectations fully so that we were aware and fully understood. He had a very good and comforting bedside manner and was very professional yet down to earth and made me feel very comfortable.

I would advise to ask any question that they might have as Dr.Grossman will provide feedback no matter what. No question is a silly question and he will ensure you of that.

Used stimming meds then trigger for egg retrieval. Then transfer meds after transfer to ensure lining was in good shape. After the first failed attemp Dr.Grossman included intralipids and prograf and progesterone to increase our chances for immplantation. Also advised acupuncture before and after transfer for relaxation.

Total cost for IVF monitoring and meds - 9k+

Dr.Grossman let us transfer 2 FET per our request. There wasn’t any questioning our decision.

I really liked his manner. I also really felt that he calmed my anxieties when I was having them. He was available via email as was his team. He was doing Dr. Kiltz’s protocol which I didn’t get the impression he was hugely into it, but he encouraged me to continue with it and be patient.

Reach out if you want to communicate with him. Don’t wait for him to contact you. Be proactive and ask questions.

I had an immune suppression protocol for transfers including prednisone, program, intralipids, z-pack. I don’t know what they call the retrieval protocol but had final, menopur, and a Lupron trigger.

Approx 4K for initial retrieval. Free transfers for a year (this has changed now). $40 copay for monitoring. Approx 5k for meds.

I did ask about transferring multiples but he suggested I be patient and transfer one at a time.

He was knowledgeable and straight forward for the most part. You could tell sometimes that he doesn’t want to discourage you from trying even if he doesn’t have a clumps of hope lol. That some times could be a down fall. I like it straight forward and sometimes I didn’t always get that. They’d rather make you feel good about the situation at times. “We’ve seen it all here” which is good, but what’s my chance of conceiving.

He doesn’t have to be super friendly to get the job done. He is good at what he does if he’s not super smiley it’s ok.

I really can’t remeber all of that. I actually tried to block it all out.

I feel like if you have the embryos, always start with 2 a good one and maybe a poor one.

He was really acertive, confident and cheerful. Was always ready to listen and work with us as a team. He's calming tone was very refreshing. He was sincere and had a plan for the entire treatment. I really appreciated his mannerisms and way of making me feel comfortable. He was trying to work with us and not to his benefit.

Pay close attention to him...He's a fast right to the point talker

He always told me I just had lazy ovaries...but that he could work with that. We had talked about lui without injectables and he offer others like lui with injectable or ivf. We decided to go with ivf and he was with us every step of the way. Started us with injectable from day one of my cycle and suppositories.

All monitoring was done in time and fast.

It was exactly what was discussed...and payment options were given. I'm so happy with the financial team for keeping everything broken up so I was able to understand

He was more toward single because of risks of multiples but never pushed us to make a decision based on his opinion. He basically advised what he thought would be best

As mentioned before, he knew my extensive history inside and out. When things didn't go as planned, he made changes. When I decided to pursue immunological testing and treatment for infertility, he wasn't willing to prescribe the needed medications (the RI did) but he still continued to treat me and never made me feel as if I was doing something that he didn't approve of.

He is blunt. He is not warm and fuzzy, but does little things that shows how much he cares. He takes his job very seriously and explains everything in great detail. I wouldn't ever go to anyone else!

I did a total of 3 IUIs, 5 IVFs, and one FET. Going into detail of each cycle is too much, but my protocol was constantly changing. If something didn't work, we changed it.

I can't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure we could have put a kid or two through college. From what I understand, CNY has some of the lowest prices in the country.

It was actually my choice.

He did not do my embryo transfers, but he was present for my hysterosalpingogram and performed the egg retrieval. He was very nice and though I’m not sure why, I just felt comfortable around him. He was always patient, kind, and reassuring. I truly feel he thoroughly explained every procedure and walked me through any fears or worries. He was wonderful!

I’m not sure that I could say a prospective patient needs to do anything, other than open up about your concerns! Don’t be nervous or afraid simply because you don’t know what to expect. If you tell him what your concerns are, he will happily explain everything and walk you through it all.

I’m not sure that I could say what treatments I used or the reason for those treatments, simply because I can’t remember.

I am from out of town, so I made appointments at a local facility for all my monitoring (ultrasound and blood draws), but the clinic was very helpful with getting these appointments goin, and communicated with my local facilities very well!

I felt the recommendation he gave me was solid. My husband and I needed to use IVF due to male factor infertility, so I had never been pregnant before, or had any miscarriages. Due to this, and my age (25 and 26 at the time) he recommended a single transfer, especially since it was my first round, and there were only 2 embryos from that round. Literally didn’t want to put all my eggs in one basket.

Very nice and personal. Great bedside manner. Comes across as very caring. Sometimes I had a hard time getting a new corse of action From him. After failed cycles I am always looking to see what can be done differently and he was very neutral when it came to this.

Go with him as you main doctor but don’t be afraid to talk to Syracuse doctors if you are at a crossroad on your treatment.

IUIs which worked to give me my son and one chemical pregnancy. When I decided it was time to try IVF he worked with me to make a plan.

Medication, IVF, copays for appointments

They do not recommend multiple embryo transfer on first IVF attempt. If that fails they will discuss 2 embryos.

He is very friendly and makes things way less scary than they could be. He explained each option, starting from the lease invasive all the way to the most invasive. He explained the risks and chances of multiples with each type of treatment. He took the time to listen and any weird question I had, even when it was medical but not totally related to treatment.

Don't be afraid of what the diagnosis will be, because it is what it is either way.

I have done a bunch of IUIs, starting with pills and moving up to injectibles. Everything seems to be working in terms of egg production, and sperm samples look good, but so far the outcome hasn't been what we wanted. The clinic is still confident that IUI will work.

Meeting Dr. Grossman for the first time was a relief. We were scared and nervous, we didn't know what to expect. However, Dr. Grossman is polite, kind and even funny! He is very patient, he didn't even mind that I walked in with a list of questions and was writing down everything he said.

My situation is difficult because I had to have a total hysterectomy due to endometriosis and extensive scar tissue. He was patient and explained the obstacles we needed to overcome in order to achieve a pregnancy using a gestational carrier. I left feeling prepared and a sense of optimism that I didn’t have when I went into the appointment.

Be honest and do some research on possible questions you need answered before going in. Bring a list if necessary.

My carrier will be having IVF with the use of donor eggs. I’m planning to use banked eggs due to the ease and timing of my carriers cycle.

Costs are affordable in comparison to other fertility treatment providers. In house financing available

Dr Grossman is one amazing human From the get go I could tell. He treated me like a person not just a number. My experience with CNY has been by far the best I have been through several fertility clinics an have never been happy until I found CNY.

I would tell a prospective patient that they are in good hands with Dr. Grossman and not to worry.

They put me on the immune protocol which mean I take differnt medicine to lower inflammation in my body to help get a better result because I do have PCOS

I think Dr Grossman goes above and beyond to make his patients feels comfortable. He explains every single option, gives his opinion on what is best, but in the end allows you to choose your path and supports your fully. Whenever I have felt frustrated or upset, Dr G has always been kind and calming.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Dr G will spend as much time as you need with you, so don't hesitate to speak up

The first two IUI cycles were very basic, the third the medications were upped which ended up making me convert to IVF. We followed similar protocol for my Fets. We started with minimal medication and each time gradually added things in.

Dr Grossman encouraged to only transfer one embryo being that I was so young and the scoring of the embryo, however when I decided two transfer two, he was very supportive and allowed me to do so after explaining all the risks

I feel like I triggered too late during my cycle and a lot of my follicles were overgrown and not good by the time I went for retrieval. Our expectations were more than the 3 eggs that were retrieved.

Make sure you do your research.

The optional payment plan was very helpful to us. Without it we would not have been able to retrieve treatment.

Dr. Grossman did not have a strong opinion either way. We decided to transfer two (in our minds we had a greater chance of one of them sticking) but I wish we only transferred one.

He was direct, it was extremely early in the morning and he still made a joke to allow me to relax. He was very honest about what to expect and how his hopes were high and he was confident I would end up pregnant.

Don’t let his tone detour you. He is very honest to not waste time of anyone.

I was ordered blood test panels for all possible issues that would cause me to not get pregnant and that could cause a birth defect. I was ordered GONAL-F, menopur, an immune protocol and more

His bedside manner was very good but I was pregnant at the time and so we didn't discuss IVF and now that I miscarried I don't feel they have a sense of my history or have looked at my past medical records. I email with questions but I'm not sure if he's tailoring my protocol to me

Be your own advocate! Educate yourself and be on top of him

I haven't started stims yet. He's currently prescribed LDN and Metformin after I asked for it. He prescribed menopur and hcg-lh

Dr. Grossman is extremely compassionate and knowledgable. Makes something very difficult more managable and going back for my second child. We lost my first shortly after birth. We have an appointment with him in March and hope he can help manage my nerves.

He has a quirky personality but uses it to try to relieve your tension and correlate things to common things in your life.

Dr. Grossman followed standard CNY strategies but is very honest in their effectiveness.

I paid for procedures under a grant program ($2,500). We also paid for all my medication.

They request single due to my age and now that I went into pre-term labor twins would be risky.

Very compassionate and understanding. Open and honest. He took the time to explain things and made sure I understood all of the process. Did everything to help us conceive that he could. Treated us like humans and told us all risks involved with everything

Regarding my prescription usage they were very helpful in getting me what I couldn’t afford and also made an easy checklist of what to take when and how.

We feel he is the best doctor for us. He cares mostly about a healthy child, not just rushing us into IVF. We loved that. He’s not just looking to make money. He puts health first! We are so devastated to be infertile and we felt so happy to meet Dr. Grossman and begin our journey. We left another clinic to come see him!!
