2023, Successful
I saw Dr. H. every visit and in the meantime I had routine and constant communication with her staff. Dr. H. was always caring, warm, trusting and she answered every single one of my questions thoroughly and a very thoughtful manner...was very forthcoming about what to expect what this meant for my fertility, and why I could not start fertility treatments until my endometriosis was first resolved. Each step of the way, Dr. H. helped me to understand the next steps and to educate myself and she used diagrams and easy to understand language to help me see what I should do next I know that once I get my endometriosis taken care of I will 100% be returning to Dr. H.
Dr. H and her [Fertility Institute of San Diego] staff always held my hand and answered every question I had no matter how insignificant or tedious it felt for me. They were courteous, kind, warm, and all around positive and caring. This office made me feel like I wanted to trust them with my care and like I wanted to come back with them for future care. I don’t think that I would ever place my fertility in the care of someone other than this clinic.
How was your experience with Minoos Hosseinzadeh at Fertility Institute of San Diego?
I saw Dr. H. every visit and in the meantime I had routine and constant communication with her staff. Dr. H. was always caring, warm, trusting and she answered every single one of my questions thoroughly and a very thoughtful manner. Dr. H. ordered my blood work and her staff explained my blood work results before I even went into my follow-up visit where I had my ultrasound done. I appreciate my bloodwork results being explained to me because I didn’t really know what I was looking at and I was confused using Google as a portal of advice when I went in for my ultrasound Dr. H. found that I had an endometrioma and endometriosis, and she diagnosed me with this, but she also gave me advice on what to do who to see and what surgery to seek. Dr. H. was very forthcoming about what to expect what this meant for my fertility, and why I could not start fertility treatments until my endometriosis was first resolved. Each step of the way, Dr. H. helped me to understand the next steps and to educate myself and she used diagrams and easy to understand language to help me see what I should do next I know that once I get my endometriosis taken care of I will 100% be returning to Dr. H.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Minoos Hosseinzadeh at Fertility Institute of San Diego?
Ask any and all questions from both Dr. H. and her staff they are very kind and patient and they will answer all of your questions in my experience. No question was dumb and they were very patient with me and get your blood work done as soon as possible. That way you have a framework of what you’re working with and go in for your ultrasound as soon as you can don’t put it off
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Minoos Hosseinzadeh at Fertility Institute of San Diego?
Dr. H and her staff always held my hand and answered every question I had no matter how insignificant or tedious it felt for me. They were courteous, kind, warm, and all around positive and caring. This office made me feel like I wanted to trust them with my care and like I wanted to come back with them for future care. I don’t think that I would ever place my fertility in the care of someone other than this clinic. I have spent years struggling with painful periods and symptoms related to that but nobody ever listened to me and to have Dr. H. find that during the first appointment was simultaneously heartbreaking, but also awakening and to have her show us with pictures and diagrams and answer every question and give us referrals to gynecologist who can form the laparoscopy was Something else and much more than I ever expected to get from the visit. Dr. H. is truly caring as is her staff. She truly cares about her patience and their well-being. She even offered to talk about preservation because of the possibility of decrease in fertility options after my endometriosis surgery, and she even offered to send me information of the sperm donors that I wanted to look into if I wanted to take that information home with me even though it was clear that this process was going to be delayed for sometime.
Describe the protocols Minoos Hosseinzadeh used in your cycles at Fertility Institute of San Diego and their degree of success.
We got blood work done and this was modified because I had just had a complete CBC and metabolic panel done with my primary care, but my AMH levels were tested. We discussed having an HSG procedure to see if my tubes were open, but this was discarded as an option after my AMH level results came back, we did have an ultrasound performed at an in person visit
Describe your experience with your nurse at Fertility Institute of San Diego. (Assigned nurse: Carly)
Adult primarily with Carly at this office and answering any, and every single one of my questions leading up to my appointments and getting my blood work done Carly was very detailed oriented and always responded to me in a timely and prompt manner. Carly sent over my medical results and explained my bloodwork to me with the assistance and approval of Dr. H.. It was a pleasure dealing with Carly and I would gladly recommend Carly to anybody dealing with this office.
Describe your experience with Fertility Institute of San Diego.
As advised a new patient, I would recommend that you get your blood work done early and that you wait to get the HST test done until you get your blood work back because I know that we were able to put off the HSG test once I got my AMH levels back, so that’s a cost that you might be able to avoid incurring. go in and get your ultrasound done and then you can really understand what your fertility stocks look like and see what your next steps are.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Minoos Hosseinzadeh at Fertility Institute of San Diego.
Bloodwork was covered by Insurance and the rest would’ve been out of pocket. I paid $450 for the ultrasound and it would’ve been around 650 for the HSG test which I did not get done.
