RMA is a well organized system....surprised with how smoothly the entire appointment flowed and how timely everything/everyone was. The offices are always so clean, and the staff members are always so kind and willing to help. With IVF comes a lot of blood work, which always was a weak point for me and the staff was always wonderful and understanding that I didn't tolerate needles well. Appointments were always easy to arrange.

The RMA team is outstanding, they are professional, gentle, caring, I cannot say enough good things...RMA of NJ does not do multiple embryo transfer, I am ok with that since it can result in twins...The clinic is a well oiled machine/factory. I chose RMA knowing that one does not get a cozy, warm, slow treatment. RMA is to the point, in and out, who's next? When you go for the morning monitoring the doctors go in and out of the exam rooms, and on to the next, and on to the next so quickly; they are attentive and caring but one sees how impersonal the care is.

RMANJ is a well-oiled machine. Of all the clinics I have worked with/called, which was many, RMANJ is by far the best organized. They are open 24/7 and everyone I have spoken to has been so helpful...She [nurse at RMANJ] was always so calm and reassuring. She was also very patient with me even though I asked her a million questions...He [Dr. Bergh] has a strong preference for a single embryo transfer, and he requires PGT-A testing...

RMA was truly an exceptional place to work with...impressed at how much I did not feel like a number...entire team there was on top of every single thing. RMA has a large network of offices in NJ so you can go to morning monitoring at any location. The Englewood office seems to be very slow at times for the bloodwork and ultrasound in the morning. In fairness, they do thoroughly disinfect after each patient and it adds to the wait time. I usually receive a call before noon with my results and instructions. Overall, RMA is very well organized and nothing is left to doubt.

This [RMA of New Jersey] is a big clinic but I still felt like I was followed by my primary team and only saw different doctors than my primary doctor while at monitoring appointments. It was fairly easy to get an appointment and each step was coordinated well.... The morning monitoring was super convenient. The clinic [RMA of NJ] is definitely a baby making machine, so it is very regimented. I enjoy the process however it is not for everyone. I think there could be a bit more explanations during procedures and some more time spent with patients. It seems as if the phlebotomists are all very different and not all care for the patient and it is shown by how they draw the blood.... Jackie has been a god-send during this process. She has a very upbeat personality and is always willing to talk or answer any questions I may have.

RMA NJ has many satellite locations, which makes it easier to get to. The main location in Basking Ridge is beautiful and the rooms are very private, which is nice. They offer complementary protocols, like acupuncture, during the transfer, which makes it easier. The waiting times can be long if it's a busy morning, though if you get there really early, you can avoid that. They have great success rates and will work with you

The billing department [at RMA of New Jersey] was thorough in going through a screen process where they evaluated what your health insurance covered. However they have an outrageous admin fee for donor embryo...The nurse assigned to me was very organized and you can do your lab work right on site. The monitoring is done early in the morning one day a week. I will say if you need medical records from them or sent to them leave a long time to do so. Dealing with the medical records department can take a long time. This is a large facility and it can feel as though they are a well oiled machine. I would warn people who are overweight to address that issue before attending this facility. A friend of mine's wife attended this facility with PCOS and they called her obese. PCOS however contributes to obesity from what I understand. The one area I do no care for in this place is the billing department. Before you can go in for your appointment you have to sit down with the billing department. Is this is your first round with infertillity and your husband is anything like my husband, sitting down to talk about money before your appointment seems a little obscene. Shouldn't we be talking about cost after you recommend a course of treatment? Also we were lucky to be covered by the NJ mandated IVF coverage at the time. However, they told me to be a part of the embryo donor program (using anonymous embryos) you have to pay $5,000 that is not covered by the insurance. At other facilities out of state this is the cost of a frozen embryo transfer with a donor embryo. Why so much? Isn't charging for embryos illegal in New Jersey? Someone should look into this. This bill was not itemized either. They didn't tell me what the actual reason for asking us for $5,000 were. The embryos were already made and stored. All they were doing was matching us with available donor embryo. We left for this reason because I was thoroughly annoyed by that amount and told it was because in New Jersey they charge crazy administration fees for donor embryo programs.

At times it is busy but it is very well run and moves very quickly. The hours are great because you can go in early before your day normally starts so it doesn't interfere with anything...Great clinic with latest technology. It is big with a high volume but I would rather deal with crowds somewhere where I am confident I am getting treated by the best doctors and nurses than in a smaller place with substandard care. RMA is the best!...Nurse Michelle was trained by Nurse Danielle and it shows. Michelle is a wonderful nurse that I trust completely. She is very knowledgeable and always answers my questions. I am so very lucky to have her.

RMANJ has it all, they are the best of the best and I really appreciate the flexibility with times and so many doctors available for monitoring and all. The front desk staff is so nice and it’s basically a one stop shop...Dr. Bergh and his nurse practitioner Lauren have always helped to set realistic expectations. They understand frustrations that come with the process and have taken time to meet with me to discuss my concerns and actually listen. They explain the reasons behind their thought processes and also work hard to keep costs down when deciding treatment plans. They make my feeling feel valid and not overlooked.

The [RMA of New Jersey] clinic was very clean and efficient. They have a good system so the morning monitoring moves pretty quickly. You’re in and out fast. The transfers are not done in a n operating room , so it was very relaxing. They even had calm relaxing music playing in the background...[nurse] Jamie was great! Her calls were always timely. Her instructions were super clear. I I was never confused with any of the medications, appointments, etc. Everything went smoothly! Glad to have had her as my nurse.

I loved RMA [of New Jersey]. I got personalized care and it’s a very well run clinic. I’ve heard people complain that they were treated like a number but I didn’t feel that way at all. I don’t have any weaknesses to report...Gluten/dairy free diet; IVF protocol targeted for high ovarian reserve with risk of overstimming; probiotics, prebiotics, folate...Nicole is AMAZING. Proactive, organized, totally on top of everything. I never ever had to chase her down, which I had to do with nurses at another clinic. Couldn’t be happier with her

Strengths [at RMA of New Jersey] - large, always open, always someone available, amazing lab on site, no hidden information, appointments always available, monitoring hours are amazing, all doctors are amazing Weaknesses - sometimes a wait for bloodwork and ultrasounds...My nurse, Jamie, was amazing. She called me as soon as she had information everyday and I never felt I was missing any information or upcoming plans. She even called me at night from her home when the doctor would email her with a plan change or results.

Very direct and honest person [Dr. Paul Bergh] and able to handle tons of questions. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Ability to built trust and explain procedures, risks and different scenarios. very empathetic...[Nurse at RMA of New Jersey was an] Excellent communicator. Unlimited patience to respond silly, original, ignorant, repetitive and reasonable daily questions. Ability to patiently explain every days procedures multiple times. Provided great support and was always available.

I think that Rmanj is like a well oiled machine, and had total trust in them. I appreciated their experience and compassion even when my cycle did not work as we had hoped. They can be a little disorganized and I had to reach out sometimes to remind tvem of what I needed, but I didn’t mind and felt in control of my treatment...The nursing staff changed often and sometimes seemed a little disorganized but I overall had a positive experience.

Everyone is so nice. They [RMA - Somerset] all make you feel comfortable. Facility is very clean. Never any problems with anyone. Never had any scheduling problem. Always a pleasant experience. They all care about you and it shows. You do not feel like just another number...[nursing staff] She is the best...Dr Bergh made me so comfortable, he treated me like an individual, answered all my questions. He went above and beyond

They never made me feel rushed and at times even allowed me to call my nurse on her personal cell phone after hours when I had a crisis.

RMA [New Jersey] is very professional. There are many options/ facilities for monitoring to accommodate busy schedules. I was always informed of what was going on and what to expect. They answered all of my questions and made me feel part of the process. [The nurses] are very attentive and communicate with you through every step of the process. They always get back to you to answer questions or concerns the day you call.

So far, never too many people in the [RMA of NJ] waiting areas, morning monitoring was always quick and efficient and the staff very friendly and on top of things. The email correspondence is weird because they have you get set up with the portal but you can't do much in it, like email attachments, so you're better off just emailing directly, which is secure anyway. Be prepared to ask questions. Be prepared to get know your insurance provider

While RMA is a massive clinic, and morning monitoring can make you feel as though you are a part of an assembly line—my experience with my team was wonderful. Everyone was responsive and caring. My nurse went out of her way to make sure a familiar voice would call with any results, and not someone who happened to be covering for that day...Morning monitoring was run like a well-oiled machine most days, however, I was always there early and did not have wait times others have experienced. Front desk staff is friendly, I was going in so often at one point that one of the administrative staff members knew my name (COVID mask and all!). I had some trouble reaching a covering nurse when mine was away, but ultimately we connected. Answering service was super helpful for after hours.

RMA gets results, they're organized and I believe their protocols are safe. They have a bunch of offices around the state so it's convenient. The doctors you can tell are the best in their fields...MA only does single embryo transfers - if you are absolutely sure you want to transfer more than one they are not the clinic for you..definitely not the cheapest clinic...I will say not all doctors in the practice are the same so when you are going almost daily for ultrasounds you'll see some you like and some you don't!
