No other doctor would listen to me and kept saying my losses were just bad luck.
The clinic [Dr. Poppy] is privately owned and does not take insurance for appointments. They do bill insurance for labs. Dr Poppy immediately found the cause of my recurrent miscarriages and was able to find the right treatment needed to carry a baby. I was given progesterone, clomid, baby aspirin and hcg injections. No other doctor would listen to me and kept saying my losses were just bad luck. Dr Poppy was encouraging and always positive that we we get a baby. That definitely helped me to continue trying and not give up.

Baby aspirin daily as I have mthfr mutation. Increased vitamin D to high dosage. I was on aspirin, oral progesterone, prenantals and high dose vitamin D until my baby was born.

Dr Poppy is very knowledgeable in wholistic approaches but does not push them if that’s not your thing.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Poppy Daniels at Dr. Poppy (closed).
First visit with Dr Poppy was $300 and then lab costs which run about $300 depending on need. Once pregnant, I paid $50 a visit. Labs were very cheap since I did private pay as my insurance denied them. I paid $25 to have progesterone and hcg levels tested weekly.

Success w/ Doc Too early to know
Dr.Poppy was amazing she took her time to explain all of my results and all the treatment options my husband and I have. She likes to try natural approaches first which is amazing. ... Dr.Poppy did a saliva and blood spot test on me first thing. ... She told me my progesterone is extremely low and we decided that bioidentical progesterone was the best course of action. She also did a ton of blood work on my husband and I and found that my husband has MTHFR and is currently treating him with Methyl CPG. In my labs she found I was very vitamin d deficient and has me on 50000IU one time a week for three months until we retest my levels. My insulin levers are also hig so she put me on sensitol to naturally lower the levels.
She is a cash for service Dr. And does not expect insurance. For a first appointment with testing it is a minimum $350. A follow up is $150. ... She [nurse at Dr. Poppy] was amazing and assisted my dr with all the procedures that I needed. She was very kind and respectful and explained everything thoroughly. ... When you wall in you are greeted with a smile and some light music in the background to help you calm down.
