Dr. Parry is very down to earth & easy to talk too! He listens thoroughly without judgement & includes patients opinions in the plan. If there is an issue, he’s happy to discuss in person or via phone. And he’s always available if needed.... Al IUI treatments included Letrozole & a HCG shot because we didn’t have an issue getting pregnant, but had 3 miscarriages. With no luck, he then went to IVF & I am currently pregnant with 1 transfer & have 3 frozen.

Preston Parry was amazing! He explained everything very good. He was kind and caring. He always made me feel special even after each month I continued to get negative test results.... my left tube is blocked so when we started doing IUI treatments we would skip a month or two depending on if my eggs were on my left or right side because the chances were greater if they were on my right side.

Make sure to have patience and have time to be there. It’s not a quick process. Which is a good thing. This clinic [U of Mississippi] is nice and very thorough. If possible make your significant other go with you so they will know each process as well.... It was $1,000 for 3 rounds of IUI. Plus $200 consultant fee... Amazing mrs Vicki and Brittany were amazing! I still get emails from mrs Vicki checking on me

They [staff at University of Mississippi] are like family...I cannot say enough about our nurses. Willingness to answer questions and show support at all times of the day and night. They are so well educated on the process and could answer questions before I could even think to ask them...10,000 for egg retrieval and 2 transfers. 1000 for 3 iui...The clinic was patient oriented. He performed a tubal ligation procedure on me back in 2016. I came in for a post op and he did a procedure to check the tubes to make sure they were functioning. I may have an IUI in the future and he would definitely be the doctor I would go with

His bedside manner was always compassionate as well. Will definitely use him again given the opportunity.... Lupron 10u for 2 weeks then decreased to 5u until the transfer. Menopur 150 and Follistem 300 until retrieval. Doxycycline for 5 days after retrieval.

Vaginal ultrasound to see follicles - low count. Sperm count - normal Hormone injections and letrazole taken to increase egg release.

Good. Front desk [University of Mississippi] was a little unwelcoming but never rude. Just no small talk made, barely even a good morning. Dr. Parry worked very hard to make sure my questions were answered and that I felt comfortable before every procedure.

In preparation for an IVF egg retrieval, I took birth control for a cycle. Days prior to the actual egg retrieval I took Lupron 5 units, Menopur 150 units, and Follistim 150 units. Ultrasounds indicated that follicles were growing at an even and steady pace. Estrogen levels were appropriate. Egg retrieval yielded 26 eggs. 22 of those fertilized. 3 of those made it to embryos. Only 1 embryo was transferable according to genetic testing. We waited a few months to transfer, and the frozen embryo transfer failed.

Dr Parry’s staff has been like another family to my husband and me. They know us by name whenever we walk into the door. They’ve made themselves available beyond office hours. On my worst days, they’ve even cried and prayed with me. They are so much more than nurses to us.

They were so organized. They always had my calendar and protocol paperwork perfect. Everything highlighted for me. All the important things underlined. They rocked.

I think their strength is their mannerism. They have the best bedside manner. They are very thorough. The clinic is very clean. They have top of the line equipment. The embryologist was great. I honestly couldn't tell you a weakness. I think they are great as they are.

I don't remember the exact cost. But we paid around $20,000 for our whole procedure including medicine. We paid a separate $1000.00 for genetic testing. That $20,000.00 include 3 more transfers if our first one failed.

DR. Parry and his staff are very compassionate. I have never doubted their understanding of how complicated and painful fertility treatment can be. I know that dr. Parry sees hundreds of patients and not once have I ever felt rushed or unimportant while I have been treated at this clinic. He and his nurses take their time to explain the treatment and any questions or concerns I may have.

Describe the protocols Preston Parry (OB/GYN) used in your cycles at Positive Steps Fertility and their degree of success.

Dr. Parry started me on 12.5 mg of letrozole, a very high dose, as I was unresponsive to clomid and lower doses of letrozole. My follicles were slow to develop so I usually continued letrozole up to 12 days. This did the trick and I usually was close to ovulation around cycle day 19 when I would then do hcg trigger shot and iui 36 hours later. I have done 3 iui’s which did not result in pregnancy and plan on doing 3 more in the next few months before doing ivf.

The nursing staff always kind and friendly and are able to answer questions whenever dr. Parry is unavailable. The lines of communication at this clinic are always open and I have never had to wait long for a response.

In December 2016, I had surgery to have endometriosis removed. My OBGYN did the surgery and tested my tubes by shooting dye through them and they were both blocked. She believed it was due to a muscle spasm, but still referred me to Dr. Parry. We went in April 2018, he did a scope of my uterus and shot air bubbles to go through my uterus and they would not go through. He also found live infection in my uterus. He gave me antibiotics to treat it. We used my wife’s eggs because she had a much higher egg count than I did. We started the shots during the summer. They retrieved her eggs in July. We did our first transfer following that with me carrying. We had a negative. I had a period and we started over. We did another transfer and got another fail. At that we had our remaining eggs PGS tested and I had another scope done in my uterus. He found more polyps and inflammation. In November 18 I had a surgery to clean out my uterus. I had a transfer on January 21st and now in the two week wait.

He is the only RE at the clinic so while you will get personalized care, it is good to remember he is the only one and there isn't another RE to fill in for him.

They gave me lots of time to talk about my concerns, my medical background, &other things that I had gone through in my life (like unsuccessful adoptions, childhood abuse). They got to know me as an individual and as a hopeful mom-to-be.

I am still going through treatments (lots of stuff related to both me and my spouse) but he has used ultrasounds and the Parryscope and partners very well with outside clinics (like urologists and oncologists) for an entire treatment protocol. The next step will be standard birth control before we start IVF.

They were incredibly knowledgeable and patient. They treat you like the individual you are instead of just a patient going through infertility treatment. And so far, I haven't had a question they have not been able to answer.

I was diagnosed with male infertility. He helped refer to a very helpful Urologist who was able to correct the issue. We had 3 IUI’s with him and we will soon be doing IVF with him. He is putting my wife on full dose medications and pushing her follicles bigger before trigger for more mature eggs.

Dr Parry is wonderful. While I’ve only had my consultation with him I feel confident that he will be the answer to our unexplained infertility. He explained everything to me and was very compassionate. The last doctor I saw wanted to jump straight to extensive and expensive treatments before doing tests that could potentially be my problem, like a blocked tube(s). However, this was one of the first things Dr. Parry said would part of my treatment and that made me feel much better...answered all of my questions without rushing me or making me feel like my questions were dumb.

The nurse I saw [at Positive Steps Fertility] was so sweet and just overall amazing! Talked to me like we’d known each other forever but was still professional. I thought I was unable to have children due to my pcos, so dr Parry did the Parryscope and found out that everything looks normal, but we would have to consider iui due to male infertility. The parryscope was not painful unlike the hsg testing with the dye, as I reviewed before the parryscope.... My experience with Dr Parry was excellent. He gave us hope when others couldn’t. He is very understanding, great bed side manners, any questions asked he had an answer to everything. He made me feel important.There were no weaknesses in dr parry!

Cost for iui is 1000.00 for 3 inseminations, std testing was 320.00 that was including drs visit, and trigger shot is 100.00 [at Univ of Miss]... The clinic is organized, very clean. Many patients have had very successful stories. All testing can be done in office without having to go to a lab for any other testing. I have yet to find any weaknesses at the clinic....
