The protocols were prepared for the general patient. Very limited. No change at all from 1st egg retrieval to the second and the results were even worst. [Doctor Sachdev] didn't call me to discussed, I had call call several times clinic to request to speak to doctor on the results and why this happened. When I asked why my medicine was not changed accordingly of the 2 time I was told this is their protocol.
the protocols they [Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine& Fertility] use are general for every patient 20 or 40 years old...When I asked how to do injection and wanted to show me few times she [nurse] look like being mad about it. But she said she can come my house for the money and do it. I said no just wanted her to spend time to show me. They messed up my medicines and ordered too many when nurse went for vacation that I paid out of packet. I had 3K medicine sitting in my refrigerates after 1st egg retrieval.
How was your experience with Rahul Sachdev at Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine & Fertility of NJ?
Very limited as a doctor. He has his protocols for clinic that he cannot changed. At my age my process should look differently. In the beginning they were all nice, but then after 1st egg retrieval it all changed. He was not approachable. They called during my work hours to tell me all my embryos are not suitable for transfer. He didn't even called. It was a nurse. He didn't have any idea what to do 2nd time. It was waste of my money and time.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Rahul Sachdev at Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine & Fertility of NJ?
If you 40 plus just do not go to this clinic. It is very limited in resources and they making decision on your protocol based on their resources not your body.

Very limited resources, very limited lab, the protocols they use are general for every patient 20 or 40 years old. Doesn't matter what is your problem and how you responded to 1st egg retrieval, it will be still the same protocol, very limited.

When we got the diagnosis of my unicornuate uterus I was very worried. It's a very rare mullerian anomaly. Dr. Sachdev read countless articles to better understand it and to help tailor our treatments. He understood the added risks and when we were preparing for the FET he personally did the final lining check to make sure everything looked perfect for transfer.
[Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine & Fertility of NJ] is a small clinic hidden away in an office park. You definitely do not feel like just another name on a chart and faces become very familiar. Everyone is very encouraging and respectful....Victoria was very compassionate and returned calls very quickly. She explained everything clearly, did our injection classes, and was present for egg retrieval and embryo transfer.

Describe the protocols Rahul Sachdev used in your cycles at Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine & Fertility of NJ and their degree of success.
We started with the standard 50mg Clomid and TI for the first cycle. I ended up with enormous cysts and was benched for a month for them to shrink down. We tried three more cycles on 25mg Clomid and TI, but the dominant follicles always ended up on the wrong ovary and ended with negatives.
Dr. Sachdev recommended skipping straight to IVF to circumvent the ovary issue. I did Lupron down regulation then Follistim and Menopur (very low dose) with Ovidrel trigger. They retrieved 10 eggs from my right ovary, but couldn't reach my left ovary. Of those 10 only 4 were mature. All 4 fertilized, made it to freeze for CCS testing, and came back with normal results. We transferred one during FET and had a successful pregnancy.
