Being that this is obviously a very sensitive subject and time for patients, you can feel this man's compassion and care for what he does. Every disappointment we faced and every hard decision was met with a realistic course of action and time to allow healing. Knowing how this was draining is emotionally and financially, Dr Grazi made sure every possible option was offered to comfort and support us. I have every confidence that with his assistance, we will be able to start our family. I also have to say that he is very blunt and very well spoken, he will tell you the good the bad the ugly in the same way and never tiptoe around what needs to be done. He is a brilliant doctor and a wonderful person.

Trust the process and take every peice of medical advice he gives verbatim. Dr. Grazi is no nonsense, he is a very honest doctor about what needs to be done, sometimes we don't want to hear the things that are being said, but they are necessary and he wouldn't say them if they weren't medically relevant

Although being advanced maternal age we wanted try iui before ivf because I have a very unusually high egg reserve. Our first 2 iui attempts were with clomid and trigger shot with in office insemination. Our 3rd iui was the same medication protocol but timing kept us from in office so we had intercourse at home as directed by Dr. Grazi, we conceived on that 3rd attempt. Sadly we miscarried at week 10 so we decided to move forward with ivf. We just did our first round of retrieval using gonal F, menopure, centrocide and dual trigger. We retrieved 9 eggs and created 4 embryos. 3 embryos made it to PGT testing and unfortunately all 3 were not compatible with life. We will be going for our second round of retreivals with Dr. Grazi this December.

Monitoring hours are 6am to 9am and they make every consession if you need it. It's a simple check in at the door with an electronic podium and a fairly short wait. Results and any update to protocol was called in to you by 12pm. It was all very very efficient

IUI was roughly 1500 and the ivf was about 19k with the medications. I would also like to point out that any bloodwork that could be done outside of the clinic, Dr Grazi personally sent me to my own doctor that took my insurance to avoid the additional costs. And his office visits were a nominal 145 dollars compared to other doctors we called that wanted 1000 just to do a first visit.

Dr. Grazi is generally against transferring more than 1 embryo at a time even though we want to put 2. He never said he wouldn't but he expressed how his goal is a healthy pregnancy and baby, and that multiples pose a higher risk to both myself and babies given my medical history.

Dr. Grazi has extensive background and experience in this field. He also has a kind and compassionate demeanor. He was willing to make treatment modifications as each round went. I wish he would have been the one to do my egg retrievals but he did do my transfer. My transfer went smoothly for the first time as someone with a difficult uterus. He was always willing to speak to me on the phone and discuss what was going to happen. I felt like I was in good hands.

He is usually booked far in advance so try to get a consult ASAP. He will call you and talk you about what is going on. He does not do the egg retrievals

Dr. Grazi was willing to use lupron depot to treat incase of silent endo.While he doesn't believe in immunological factors he was willing to review the results of other RI's. He was very involved in dosages during stimulation sometimes making even the slightest changes to medications as he saw fit based on the morning monitoring results.

So monitoring is not by appointment which I prefer. They usually add you to the list beforehand and you show up any time during the designated monitoring hours at that location. (For the main location show up early before they start like 6:30 if you want to get out on time. There is valet parking in the building on the side.) I did most of my monitoring at the main location its very helpful that they started implementing a sign in kiosk as before cranky women on fertility meds getting skipped wasn't a pretty sight. All the front desk admins are nice but again horrible retention rates as they've had 3-4 different people at the front desk during my time there. Usually you sign in at kiosk sit down (if you find a seat) and wait to be called by phlebotomist. She will take your blood and send you down the hall to the ultrasound. The phlebotomist and ultra sound technicians at the main location are the the most proficient. Theres been discrepancies at the other locations but the women at the main location are more experienced and quicker. Once you are called its usually at most 15 mins.

I had insurance coverage through city workers plan and they paid everything except co pay =20 per visit and genetic testing around (4000). Stephanie at billing was great and on top of things. I do think again a portal would be helpful as a visual for payments and coverage. Never had a surprise bill. I was always told well in advance which things I had insurance coverage for and which would be out of pocket.

This is solely based on age so multiple embryos transfer wasnt offered to me

Dr. Grazi is an exceptional doctor. He went above and beyond with caring for us during our time doing IVF. I always felt cared for and never rushed during our appointments with him. Dr. Grazi would personally call me with both good and bad results and to check in with me to see how I was feeling after set backs or disappointments. He was always a ray of hope and encouragement, even when I felt the most doubt. He has truly been a blessing in our journey with trying to conceive,

Don't hesitate to see Dr. Grazi and book your appointment sooner than later for two reasons: 1. time is everything when it comes to fertility so with all of the tests and procedures you may need to go through prior to starting treatment, it's always better to start sooner than later. And 2. Dr. Grazi and the other doctors at Genesis book up quickly so setting an appt in advance is advisable.

My husband and I did IVF with ICSI and this was recommended due to male factor infertility (low count, poor motility and poor morphology). Because the count of sperm was so low plus quality and motility being an issue, ICSI was necessary to ensure the best results. I knew this would be advised and would yield the best outcome (based on my own research) so it was a good feeling when that was confirmed. It was recommended we freeze the sperm (which is something our previous IVF doctor outside of Genesis never informed us of as an option). Since my husband and I chose to do PGS genetic testing (it was discussed w us by Dr. Grazi but never forced on us and rather just presented as a personal choice of ours), this meant that we had to go with a frozen transfer instead of a fresh transfer. During the first egg retrieval in May, we retrieved 11 eggs, 9 of which fertilized initially but then only having one become a blastocyst on day 6. This embryo was tested and came back genetically abnormal (i.e.,VERY likely to result in a miscarriage if transferred). The second retrieval in July yielded better results with 11 eggs, 8 of which fertilized initially, and then 3 day 5 blastocysts and 1 day 7 embryo. Out of the 4 embryos tested all 4 came back as genetically normal. We transferred our best quality embryo (6AA) in August and I am now pregnant with our baby girl!

Monitoring was very early in the morning between 5:30-6:30am at the Queens location. This was great for me getting to work on time or actually very early on monitoring days, but I do wish that the monitoring hours there extended a little later. On weekends, it was always dreadful to wait around at the Bay Parkway location.

Luckily for us, GHI covered 75% of our IVF treatment. A small military discount was also applied, as my husband has served and is currently a reservist, which helped with the out of pocket expense.

I believe going with what the research shows is best practice which is why I agree with Genesis' approach to eSET.

The extraordinary care we received under Dr. Grazi is hard to put into words. With his incredible medical knowledge and kind demeanor, Dr Grazi was determined that our dream become a reality. Infertility is physically and emotionally challenging in so many ways. Throughout our journey, Dr. Grazi was always there for us. We feel ever so blessed to have been cared for, by such a wonderful doctor.

IUI: letrozole or clomid, frequent monitoring, Ovidrel trigger IVF: Stimulation-Gonal F, Menopur, Cetrotide, daily monitoring, Lupron trigger Fertilization- half my eggs were fertilized via conventional ivf, half were ICSI fertilized. We did a freeze all cycle so that the embryos could be PGS tested.

IVF is costly. Our insurance did not cover any fertility treatment. However, we worked together with the billing department who were very reasonable to deal with.

The topic was barely discussed as it was obvious from the doctor's end and from our end that we would only transfer one embryo.

Dr. Grazi is the most intelligent, caring,compassionate doctor I’ve ever met. With every visit he gives you his undivided attention. He gives you his time and care and speaks to you with warmth. He understands what you’re going through and tries his hardest to help you in every way possible. he’s happy when you’re happy and sad when you’re sad. I did IVF with Dr. Grazi in 2015 and I saw him a few times during my cycle . Dr. Grazi did my retrieval because he was on call that day. He answered every question I had and every single email I sent. He was very gentle and encouraging. Dr. Grazi did my frozen embryo transfer and we were successful with a positive pregnancy. After i had my baby we found out we have a genetic mutation in the family, so I couldn’t use my stored embryos for future pregnancies. Dr. Grazi worked very hard to find the mutation. We had to use a lab in Ohio to test for the mutation. Not only did he work hard to figure out where to test for this mutation but he got many genetic specialists involved in my situation. It took up a lot of his time and effort but he never gave up and he was able to find the mutation. He even wrote a letter to my insurance to cover the cost of the genetic testing . Genetic testings can be very expensive. I did IVF again in 2017 and a different doctor did my retrieval . All the doctors are amazing and caring. They want what’s best for you. Dr. Grazi did my frozen transfer and we got a positive pregnancy but unfortunately i miscarried a few days later. Dr. Grazi called a few times to check up on me and held my hand and cried with me. If there’s anybody in the world that was born to be an infertility doctor, it’s Dr. Grazi. He is in it for the right reasons, to help couples fulfill their dreams of parenthood. Dr. Grazi did another transfer and it was successful. I’m now 10 weeks pregnant. Dr. Grazi knows what he’s doing just trust him and follow all his instructions. You can’t go wrong with this doctor. We are very grateful to him . He’s an angel sent from heaven!! Whether you’re successful with Dr. Grazi or not you have to understand that it’s all from god. Doctors are just god’s Helpers . In my opinion it’s rude to write a bad review just because you weren’t successful with a doctor and you want to let out your angry on him. Trust in Dr. Grazi and believe in him. He becomes your friend at the end and you’ll always have a special connection with him because he helped you have your baby.

Follow his instructions, trust him because he’s very experienced in his field

I did IVF twice with 2 successful pregnancies. We did hormone injections to stimulate eggs for retrieval. After I got pregnant, I took estrogen pills and progesterone injections everyday.

Not such a long wait. I went at 7 till I was done blood and sonogram it took an hour. You can go from 6 till 9 so it fits perfectly with your schedule

My insurance didn’t pay for anything. It costed me around $15,000 just for cycle and transfer around $3,000 and pregnancy scans $200 each scan

Single embryo transfer brings higher success rate for pregnancy.

Success in overcoming our infertility issues did not come immediately for us. I have heard that for some people it does come quickly; however, for us, it had become a very grueling experience which, required a major effort from both of us. We had consulted and were treated by many fertility specialists prior to discovering Dr. Grazi. All of them were very skilled, extremely knowledgeable, highly recommended and reputable, but none of them were anything like Dr. Grazi. Unique and special are only two of the many adjectives that truly describe his key attributes. For us Dr. Grazi was the only weapon we had to combat the grueling experience that we had undergone while going through our “ART” experience. Even though we owe our success to a “Higher Authority” (God the Creator), without, Dr. Grazi our “ART” experience would have been vastly different. Whether we had succeeded or failed in accomplishing our objectives we would still recommend Dr. Grazi to be the doctor of your choosing since he was the only doctor that enabled us to get us through this most difficult crisis in our lives with the least amount of emotional, psychological, spiritual, ethical and financial stress that anyone has ever dream of. Dr. Grazi was God’s answer to our prayers!

Trust his judgement, heed his advice and seriously consider his recommendations for he is truly a very remarkable doctor to be under the care of.

We started with an IVF procedure that made use of the meds-- Menopur and Bravelle to stimulate egg production.

An efficient well oiled machine. I had to be there at 6:30 AM if I wanted to get out quickly. This did not ruin my schedule.

The costs were fair and reasonable. The billing department was very helpful. Cost is negotiated if it is too high for the consumer. Financially this clinic is operated in a very business-like manner. It is excellent! They are very flexible at costs. There isn't a service performed that is over-priced or out of reach for the consumer. Deals are made and results are obtained.

Dr. Grazi only transferred one embryo. Transferring multiple embryos was never recommended and was never performed.

Dr Grazi was not only my physician but he became a trusted and valued friend. When I became his patient it was on the heels of my current doctor retiring. I was very confused and unsure about the future. I felt as though I had to reexplain our history and open up our lives to a new person once again. I was not excited about it at the time but it turned out to be the best thing to ever happen to us. Dr Grazi was always extremely involved, passionate and understanding of our journey. We had many, many, many set backs and he held our hand through each one. I have nothing but love and gratitude for all he did for us and our family.

Trust Dr Grazi's experience and advice-- he has been doing this a long time & has a true understanding of the science behind this process. He never wavered while helping us through our journey and when we did hit a road block he referred us to other specialists with the experience we needed. And after that, we stayed true and had faith in Dr.Grazi and kept our course with him. In the end he brought us to our final destination, our sweet baby girl.

Dr. Grazi is very warm and compassionate. I really don't have anything negative to say about him. We started with another Dr, and then ended up with Dr Grazi after our first doctor left. We are very happy to have been under Dr Grazi's care. He did what he could to make us feel comfortable while keeping professional and giving us the honest truth.

Don't put off your first visit. Dr Grazi is there to help. He runs an operation that is unlike most clinical settings. You'll feel welcomed into the "family" at Genesis and you'll know that you're in good hands.

Dr Grazi performed a frozen transfer on me. His reasoning was to be able to prepare my uterus in the best way possible. Fresh cycles are very time sensitive. By doing frozen, we were able to take our time prepping my body. He actually cancelled my first attempt because my lining wasn't as good as he wanted. The next cycle, my lining was much better and it wound up resulting in a beautiful and successful pregnancy.

I don't remember the actual cost, but the financial department was very helpful to us who weren't covered for treatments under our insurance.

Because I am still young, Dr Grazi wanted us to do a single embryo transfer. Even my ob/gyn says that singleton pregnancies are much safer.

Dr. Grazi had a strange communication style, which I found a bit creepy and inappropriate. I also got the impression that he didn't really listen to my questions all that well - he would often interrupt mid-sentence, which, as a professional woman fairly senior in my career, I found very irritating. Also, he did 3 rounds of IUI, and then only after that told me that because of my age, IUI is very unlikely to be successful -- he didn't have a good answer to why he had me do 3 rounds of IUI instead of going right to IVF.

See if you get the feeling that he's not listening, and if so, get the heck out of there.

I've tossed my notes already, but I remember the nurses telling me that the dose for the ovarian stimulation was lower than average (based on how the body reacted). One thing I noticed was the dose on the 2nd round was lower than on the first, and the number of eggs retrieved was much smaller, and there were no viable blastocysts from the 2nd retrieval.

It helped that they have two locations for monitoring, and you could go to either one. I never waited longer than 15 minutes for monitoring.

They have two different cost schedules - one is for patients covered by insurance, and the other is for self-pay. The self-pay is HIGHER, which we found out when we hit our maximum on the insurance coverage after only 1 round of IVF. 1 round, including medications, clocked in at $20k.

I had a strong preference for single embryo transfer and he seemed fine with that.

He’s so kind, thoughtful, and gentle. He seems very knowledgeable about medicine and caught 3/4 of my diagnoses right away on the first visit. Even when we went for 3 other opinions, everyone agreed with his course of treatment (even though it wasn’t successful).

Enjoy the best bedside manner you’ll ever receive! But advocate for yourself with the clinic!

The hours were increasingly early due to short staffing & running multiple monitoring satellite locations. Wait times in the satellite were typically short. Sometimes doors were locked and no one answered the phone, or I missed my chance for monitoring if I arrived too close to the end of the window. At one point, the monitoring hours changed but no one informed me. Sunday monitoring at the main office generally had a long wait time.

Approximately $12,000/ cycle, plus additional fees for medications, ICSI, PGS, and surgical center.

He generally preferred single transfers so that if something went wrong on the maternal end, more than one embryo would not be lost. Also because he didn’t prefer to put patients in the situation of carrying multiples.

Dr. Grazi made us comfortable throughout the process. He explained everything in great detail (at our request) and walked us through the back and forth of making decisions when there was no clear right answer (often the case in this process). He gave his opinion when we asked for it and always helped us weigh our options to make a decision we felt comfortable with.

First Gonol F, Progesterone, Ovidrel Switched to Lupron, Bravelle, Menopur with good results

It was fairly easy -- sometimes there was more of a wait than others, but never too long and if you get there early you can be first.

Completely covered by insurance

We did PGD testing on all our embryos so we only implanted those of high quality, one at a time. Totally worth the $ to get that test to get the highest quality embryos possible !

Dr. Grazi was very professional, knowledgeable, and explained the steps involved with every procedure. He was caring, and was genuine in explaining the risks involved in all the procedures to be undertaken. For example, when we were down to the last 2 embryos, we wanted to split them, but, he indicated that we had a better chance with transferring the last two at once. Also, when the first 3 transfers did not thrive to result in a pregnancy, Dr Grazi was forceful in recommending that we get a different surrogate, as he had the strong feeling that she was not following the protocol. And of course, he was right, we followed his advice and our dreams finally became true.

Be patient, and put your trust in him

All four transfers that Dr Grazi performed should have resulted in a positive pregnancy, however, for the first three, the protocol was not strictly followed by the surrogate.

It was somewhat costly, but not overwhelmingly

Our embryos were harvested for a long time, and the standards had changed in the meantime. Therefore, Dr Grazi did not want to take the chances to do single embryo transfer.

You only communicate with this doctor when your treatment has failed. He does not perform the IUIs, the nurses do which I really did not like. He did not adjust treatments at all and did the same thing over and over and recommended IVF after 3 failed IUIs instead of trying to find out why they failed.

Dont expect too much from this doctor. Dont expect to see him or be treated by him often. You need to be your own advocate.

I did 3 IUIs with this doctor. He recommended letrozole each time and was not open to trying clomid. He did not change up the next cycle after a failed one which I found disappointing. He recommended IVF instead of doing further testing.

We did 3 IUIs with this dr. We did back to back IUIs those cycles. Insurance covered one and we paid $400 for the second one. In total we probably paid around a few thousand for out of pocket IUIS, recombine testing, and copays.

Dr Grazi is an honest, kind, compassionate, smart man. He was patient and helped comfort me in my time of struggles with infertility. He always had a "plan" and kept me hopeful . He helped make my dream of becoming a mother come true! He became my friend along the way! I have nothing negative to say about him!

Be patient and trust this doctor!

After a year of ttc with no results and an HSG which showed a blocked left Tube I made my first appointment in December of 2010 at Genesis Fertility with DR GRAZI! I was able to get an appointment rather quickly which I was happy about. Dr. Grazi sat with me and my husband and we discussed our options. We started an IUI cycle when I ovulated from my right Fallopian tube as this was the unblocked tube! This resulted in an ectopic pregnancy which was taken care of with methotrexate at Genesis. We then processed to to IVF a few months after the ectopic and I transferred 2 embryos and got negative pt results. The next cycle we did a fresh ivf again and we changed my medicine and I conceived my son , who is now 5.

Convenient and worked ab

Dr Grazi was a very conservative doctor and his goal was for me to have a single healthy pregnancy . His goal was reached.

Dr Grazi is a very warm caring Dr. He is very passionate on achieving success for his patients. Patient confidently is kept to the utmost form and fashion. He was always very on top of our treatments and matters.

I wouldn't change anything. we are very happy with Dr Grazi and the Genesis team.

a cycle would cost us between $10000 to $17000

We had multiple IVF cycles at Genesis, sometimes we were advised to do single and other multiple transfers. Each cycle is accessed separate.

Dr. Grazi was very knowledgeable and professional. Moreover, he was compassionate and cared about me as a person. I enjoyed the way he described each process and guided me through all of the steps. IVF is not easy. Dr. Grazi put me at ease and gave us hope.

Be patient with the process. I know it could be frustrating but listen to the doctor as he has plenty of experience. Ask questions! Dr. Grazi is always there to answer them.

Injections followed by retrieval and embryo transfer. We also opted to do genetic testing on the embryos.

20+ thousand for everything

Yes. Single was better due to my conditions. Dr. Grazi explained and advised against multiple embryo transfer in my case.

He is a great doctor. I would email him about concerns I had And he would always address them by the end of the day. I felt comfortable and clam around him. He has a lot of patience. Just wish I was stop not getting pregnant and actually go to term.

To bring in any questions you may have so he can answer them.

1st round IUI did 50mg of clomid. Ended in chemical pregnancy. Second cycle IUI did 50mg ended up not getting pregnant. 3rd round did 100mg of clomid, didnt respond and did a stair stepper. Took 150mg of clomid then IUI and ended in chemical pregnancy

Insurance covered a lot of my stuff I think. Still waiting to hear back.

He is honest, clear, knowledgeable and very patient. He always put me at ease. Accepted my input and choices for my care but was honest and explained when something wasn't possible. Clearly explained the pros and cons of each medication and decision.

I never waited too long and was always able to make it to work in time afterwards. The staff makes you feel comfortable.

I was able to apply for the NYS Demonstration Prgram which helped greatly with cost.

He prefers to transfer one embryo at a time but agreeed when I strongly suggested to transfer two. Just be aware you will have to sign a waiver regarding the possibility of having multiples.

Dr. Grazi is extremely compassionate. He explained things as we went, and listened to me as a patient. He hanged treatments if something wasn't working. As a doctor, I reccomend him Tov anyone who unfortunately needs infertility treatments.

Keep asking questions if you are unclear on anything, he will answer them.

It was first come, first serve. Also at the off site, the sonogram tech if she was as running late would be rude not considering if the patients had to get to work

He prefers eSET. Will transfer up to 2, but Ian very cautious and thinks of the risks to you as the patient.

We had a wonderful experience. He is extremely qualified and very competent. We have 5 beautiful children because of him. His clinic is super well run, very organized and the staff is amazing. He gave us exactly what we wanted, a beautiful family. we also had surgery with him that went very well.

Ask all your questions and trust that you're in good hands!

surgery to remove endometriosis, stage 4+ and then Immediate round of clomid and IUI to achieve pregnancy before endo had a chance to grow back. First round was successful, our first child was born nine months later. Endometriosis in our case, was "cured" through the pregnancies and all our subsequent children - conceived after 1 or 2 rounds of clomid and IUI.

almost all costs were covered through insurance. we were very fortunate.

He was a little creepy. Hugged me when I didn't need to be hugged. I didn't feel it was appropriate. But I think it was his way of being "warm". I never understood his way of speaking.

I had private insurance but my medication wasn't covered because I was under 21 and my insurance company didn't cover minors since they didn't think it was a necessity despite the letter my doctor wrote. So I had to pay out of pocket for medication. All else was covered.

He is extremely compassionate and caring and he truly looks out for you. He was very sympathetic when things didn't work out and made it that much easier. He is knowledgeable and knows what he's doing

Be honest about everything with him. Tell him all of your history and trust him. He will come through with the results he promises

We went round after round with letrozle 2.5 mg for five days. And when that didn’t work, he decided to up and the dosage to 5mg. I conceived on the very first round of the 5mg cycle

My treatment costs were pretty decent at the time. Each visit was under 200 and the iui was 750$. Medications are a completely separate expense.

I don’t have any experience on this topic as he was certain my body could conceive

Dr Grazi is truly one of a kind. I’ve seen many doctors with terrible bedside manners. He is the exact opposite. Its almost too good to be true. He is an angel disguised as a doctor. Always keeping you updated the minute he gets information and treating you with the utmost respect.

Definitely use him if you want someone who is sensitive, efficient, educated and experienced.

Dr grazi devised a personal plan exactly according to my needs. He doesn’t do the same thing for everyone. He really takes everything into consideration and gives you his time. My husbands sperm was not so great so he used icsi and later it proved that this was the correct decision.

It was always crowded but I never Waited too long. The bay parkway office has more patients than the staten island office.

I paid Out of pocket because we did family balancing. It was very expensive but well worth it.

He of course suggested a single embryo transfer when we were deciding if we wanted single or multiple. He gave us the facts. But he will never force anyone to do anything unless it was a health issue. We took his advice and did single but we will be back.
