Dr.Greene was approachable and understanding throughout all of our treatments. After our egg retrieval none made it past day 2 and I felt like he was able to share that disappointment with us...also able to talk about next steps without making it intimidating while honoring what we had just been through and the failure we experienced...explains why he is changing protocol and is able to discuss what did not work after a failed cycle.
[Conceptions Reproductive Associates] did a really great job with scheduling and remaining flexible. I was able to go to 3 different locations...They would schedule me for labs and ultrasounds at whatever location was most convenient for me and this was incredibly important given the number of appointments we had. The people in the labs were great...all of the nurses are helpful, compassionate and communicative. I felt like they took time to really talk to me and put me at ease throughout my treatments.

Dr.Greene was approachable and understanding throughout all of our treatments. After our egg retrieval none made it past day 2 and I felt like he was able to share that disappointment with us. Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
I have PCOS and prior to egg retrieval my Menopur to encourage egg growth as we were hoping for them to develop more and were nearing 2 weeks on medications. We ended up going in for retrieval shortly thereafter because he did not want me to have OHSS. I felt like he really monitored me progression to keep me healthy while getting the best results. I was also taking Cetrotide to prevent ovulation.

Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
I felt like they did a really great job with scheduling and remaining flexible. I was able to go to 3 different locations which was very convenient for me and they were completely supportive. I did this because my doctor is in Lafayette but my job is in Denver and it was easier for me to go to the Denver location for treatments. They would schedule me for labs and ultrasounds at whatever location was most convenient for me and this was incredibly important given the number of appointments we had. The people in the labs were great and so were the nurse. I have nothing but positive things to say.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
For IVF with genetic testing and more that 10 eggs retrieved we payed around $26,000. We did not transfer any embryos as the eggs fertilized but did not make it past day 2 due to an egg quality issue.
Describe Robert Greene's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Dr.Greene prefers to transfer one embryo but is open to transferring two depending on the situation. He is not willing to transfer more than two due to health risks.
[Dr. Robert Greene] seemed excited to work with us and help us grow a family. He remembered little details about our lives which is impressive with the amount of patients he has...data driven which we appreciated. He provides facts, studies and information from personal experience when creating a plan for you...We were diagnosed as “unexplained” and did not have any reason to suspect I would be a poor responder...After the first cycle they saw poor egg quality and poor sperm quality...
With multiple [Conceptions Reproductive Associates] clinics throughout the Denver area, appointments are easy! I could visit the location closest to me for daily appointments which was a huge help when balancing IVF and a full time job...[nurse] even helped me with finding some donated medication to help when my pharmacy didn’t ship my medication on time...Self pay is about $16k excluding medications. My medication was between $3,000-$4,000 per IVF cycle.

Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
We did an IUI with Letrozle. This cycle failed. We proceeded with an antagonist IVF cycle in 1 month later. We were diagnosed as “unexplained” and did not have any reason to suspect I would be a poor responder. We started with 1 vial menopur and 150 gonal f per day. After 4 days this was increased to 3 menopur and 150 gonal f. We retrieved 11 eggs, 9 mature and ended with 1 pgs tested embryo. We went immediately into a second cycle with testosterone gel and bcp, 2 menopur, 225 gonal f and .8 HGH per day. We had a much better response and retrieved 13 eggs, 11 mature and 2 pgs tested embryos. After the first cycle they saw poor egg quality and poor sperm quality. We are waiting to schedule our FET.
Describe your experience with your nurse at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates. (Assigned nurse: Lindsay Dole)
My IVF nurse, Lindsay, was wonderful. She was always very warm and friendly. She responded quickly to my emails and calls and even helped me with finding some donated medication to help when my pharmacy didn’t ship my medication on time. She saved me! She also helped us when we were highly stressed over doing a second cycle or not. She was patient and understanding. I can’t thank her enough!

I would highly recommend Conceptions to anyone looking for a fertility clinic. They are all professional, caring and efficient. With multiple clinics throughout the Denver area, appointments are easy! I could visit the location closest to me for daily appointments which was a huge help when balancing IVF and a full time job. They also have the highest live birth rates in the country and their on site lab is state of the art. I’m very happy with our experience so far.

Describe Robert Greene's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Conceptions highly recommends pgs testing and transferring a single embryo for most patients.
During a polypectomy procedure, Dr. Greene made a rude comment to my mother about “how I was raised” while we were waiting to be wheeled back. While it was meant as a joke it was inappropriate and not the right time. At the clinic, we rarely had face time with Dr. Greene and had very limited interactions that were meaningful or helpful...During consultations our conversations were very rushed. There was little empathy or time for questions along the way. It seemed that he was in a hurry so we in turn felt rushed and like we couldn’t get everything asked that we needed.
The [Conceptions Reproductive Associates] clinic front staff had one member who was very difficult to work with when we were present and trying to make appointments...The PA Amanda Stone was amazing and made me feel very comfortable during our first IUI. The nurse who did our second was very compassionate. Bailey, was a nurse who administered my trigger shot and she was also very kind.

What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?

The clinic front staff had one member who was very difficult to work with when we were present and trying to make appointments. Following a miscommunication on scheduling, she refused to acknowledge when I walked in, and didn’t ask the nursing team to provide me with information following my exam and told me “she sent them home” because I was “late for my appointment”.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
One appointment was misscheduled resulting in difficulty with me coming in “late” and them not having appropriate staff. During both rounds of IUI there was no communication regarding my lab results, and I was asked by nurses during both IUI procedures if I was aware about what they had found previously, making it sound like this should have been verbalized.
If he [Dr. Robert Greene] doesn’t look at your medical history, listen to you, or ask you specific questions go to another clinic. If his only bit of advice is to watch videos of him being interviewed, run away. Don’t waist your time. You don’t have time for his ego. This process is stressful, expensive, and takes a lot you want to be surrounded by good people who care about you. He is fake nice.
It [Conceptions Reproductive Associates] was cheaper than the one we ended up with but felt cold and the front desk wasn’t good commutators. When asked about paying for our genetic testing they gave us a vague answer and seamed upset we asked...We weren’t assigned a specific nurse and were told we wouldn’t have one assigned to us. They were disorganized and didn’t ask us specific questions just gave us generic info.
How was your experience with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
He was extremely condescending and treated us like a number. He never took the time to read my medical history or ask me any questions.
He just wanted to know how many children we wanted so that we would only consider Ivf because of my age. Then he gave us a totally unrealistic number that we would have a 85% chance of success. Later doing research and talking to other doctors we learned that a 41 year old women does not have a 85% chance at success and it’s a straight up lie.
I left the two meetings with him feeling unheard, disrespectful, and stressed out of my mind. We ended up trying out another clinic and it was 180 degree difference, they listened and didn’t talk down to me (Dr. Greene would only talk to my husband and would talk about me like I wasn’t in the room). The other clinic was more expensive but it really relaxed me because I knew what to expect.

I spend weeks getting my paperwork together and then going through tests to see Dr. Greene. When we showed up for our diagnosis consultation he just pulled up a generic power point then pointed out what a uterus looks like and explained the basics of conserving a child. It was so disappointing and he was so condescending. When I asked him specific questions about my treatment or concerns I had he gave me generic responses.
The conversations hit a all time low when I asked him about my endometriosis. He mansplained to me that I should have serious period pain (which I don’t, not all women with endrometrosis has major period pain, some of us have period at different times and different ways). It was so bad, he asked what number I would give my period and then when I gave a number, he said he would increase it because I would say it was lower later. WTF!?! What doctor tells a patient how they are feeling then doesn’t trust when the patient tells them.
He never asked what symptoms I actually have or what they found when they diagnosed me. I had sent in my medical records but he didn’t bother to read it. All he wanted me to do was watch videos of him getting interviewed mansplaining endrometrosis to some super fan of his. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.

Dr Greene was very kind and professional with myself and my husband...Dr. Green broke down the treatments and outcomes so that both of us would understand them and made us feel very welcome and a part of the Conceptions family.... be honest with him about how you need things explained. Also, don’t be afraid to ask the why questions...
The nursing staff [at Conceptions Reproductive Associates] has always been wonderful with me very kind and understanding when we had setbacks and very elated when we experienced joy. Dr Greene was very kind and professional with myself and my husband. He answered all the questions that we had with the information he was able to provide. Dr Greene understood that I work in the medical field so I have a basic Knowledge of terms and treatments, however that my husband did not work in the medical field but was very technically savvy. Dr. Green broke down the treatments and outcomes so that both of us would understand them and made us feel very welcome and a part of the Conceptions family.
Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
Since I am an older patient of Dr. Greene, He understood and explained that treatments and protocols may change. I do remember that between our IUI and IVF cycle Dr. Greene did make sure that my thyroid levels and my PCOS are being treated by constantly getting blood work done and making sure that my medication’s are correct.
Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Conceptions has been the only clinic that we have experience. Our weight was shorter for a consultation then with other clinics in our area. I would say that having in-house ultrasounds and lab work is wonderful, however sometimes as a self pay patient the cost can be a little hard to swallow
Describe the costs associated with your care under Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
My husband and I are self-pay patient so the cost was something that we needed to prepare for. We are hoping that soon our insurance company will cover fertility treatments, but conceptions was willing to work with us on payments.
Dr. Greene was very helpful and took the time to explain the procedures and IVF protcol in laymen's terms. He's clearly very knowledgable and experienced with the science. He was always very friendly and optimistic which help me stay positive. He's down to earth and treated me very well...always familiar with me and my specific case.
Dr. Greene and medical staff catered treatment to my specific needs. They were always familiar with me and my specific case. The staff always treated me well and remembered me when I was in the office...One weakness with this [Conception Reproductive Associates] clinic is that they could improve upon educating patients about what to expect and how to do the injections. We didn't always understand what each step was for and why we were necessarily doing it. Strengths for the clinic are that all of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Some staff seemed to remember us each time we went so it felt more personalized. Dr. Greene was always so positive!

Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
I was diagnosed with Diminished Ovarian Reserve with poor egg quality. As a result, Dr. Green had us do Duo Stimulation. The first round of IVF stimulation meds involved using Omnitrope and Menopur injections the first several days of the cycle in the morning. In the evenings he had me do Gonal-F injections. Part way through the cycle he added a Menopur injection to the evening injections. We then triggered when instructed and had our first egg retrieval. Due to not having any viable embryos from the first round of IVF injections, Dr. Greene changed up the medication protocol for the second round of IVF injections by increasing the amount of Menopur injected during the cycle. We increased the Menopur injections in the morning as well as the evenings. Everything else was essentially the same. It is from this cycle that we were able to get one genetically normal embryo.
Describe your experience with your nurse at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates. (Assigned nurse: Veronica, Cate)
My nurse would be the one to call me every day to inform me of the medication instructions each day. She was very compassionate and responsive to any questions or concerns that I had during the cycles. When I needed more medication she would do her best to see if they had any donated medications they could provide me with as we were self-pay. The nursing staff was very nice each time I went in for my daily blood draw and ultrasound. One nurse and one sonographer would always remember me. One nurse remembered me day to day and even after the transfer she remembered who I was and details about my specific situation.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
There was one instance in which I was not called with lab results and whether or not I was good to start medications from the trial embryo transfer cycle. I contacted them (late in the afternoon) and they responded the next morning saying that their analyzer malfunctioned and produced results late. Luckily, I took one medication (it was an estrogen pill) and they said that was good because everything was good to go.
Dr. Greene as a very warm and positive presence. He is very informative and explains the IVF process in a way that is thorough and easy to comprehend. He truly cares about us as human beings and has instilled hope in our quest to build our family...he does not believe one size fits all. I am confident that our protocol is unique to our situation and our families needs.

We have had nothing but great experiences at the Lafayette office so far :) My advice is that if you have a wiatjon or do not understand something - make the call. Our insurance did not cover treatment. Our out of pocket cost for our IVF cycle came out to about $22,000 (this includes unlimited blood draws, ultrasounds, hysterectomy, egg retrieval, PGT testing and transfer). This price does not include the cost of medication.
Describe Robert Greene's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Dr, Green prefers single embryo transfer as his philosophy is supporting us in having a low risk healthy pregnancy.
Dr Greene is compassionate and has walked in my shoes with his own experiences and knew what to say and what not to say to make me feel comfortable and confident in him. When our recent transfer failed he expressed and emphasized how it was not my fault which gave me peace...He strongly advises against multiple embryo transfer because of his success and even after our very recent failed cycle with him he advised against increasing embryos...

During consults or follow ups have an agenda to follow so you make sure you cover all concerns abs questions. I am fairly comfortable with our Dr. But I always seem to freeze up during consultations and lose my voice. An agenda helped keep me on track without becoming too emotional.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Dr. Greene would not proceed with our care until I felt 100% confident in him and trusted his care and his practice. This was not the case at our previous clinics.
Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
• ERA, SHG, HSG , TET tests prior to transfer
Protocol:
• Birth control pills the cycle prior to FET - down regulation
▪︎ Lupron injections for 4 weeks – this and birth control work as my down regulation cycle. This combo will shut down (suppress) my ovaries and allows my clinic to control my cycle.
▪︎ Omnitrope injections for 10 days - we added this to my protocol with Sunny due to implantation failure in previous cycles. This drug can help your uterine receptivity become more favorable for an embryo. Essentially this is the welcome party drug for our embryo.
▪︎ Progesterone in oil injections begin 6 days prior to FET and continue through 12 weeks of pregnancy – helps prepare the lining of the uterus and helps maintain a healthy level during pregnancy
▪︎ Estrace pills vaginally twice a day – helps build the endometrium lining nice and thick
▪︎ Vivelle (a.k.a estrogen patches) 1 patch, increased to 4 patches then decreased to 2 - helps build lining
▪︎ Baby aspirin – improves blood flow to implantation site
▪︎ Intralipid Infusion 1 week prior to fet and aging at 7 weeks pregnant
Next fet cycle we will repeat an shg and do a microbiome test

Dr. Greene really listened to us and our family goals...[He] was pretty conservative with meds for my egg retrieval, which initially was a bit scary, but everything worked out...If you need something from him, send him an email- he is super responsive via email...I was borderline PCOS, and he was concerned that I would develop OHHS. Because of that, he kept my meds lower, believing that fewer eggs would mean higher quality. He was right

We were a pretty straightforward case, which made our treatment plan pretty standard. His transfer nurses (Kristine!) are amazing and super responsive.

IVF takes so much time, so do not expect this process to go quickly. The timeframes given to you by Dr. Greene are best case scenario. If you need something from him, send him an email- he is super responsive via email. He's also optimistic, so don't be afraid to push him to give you more realistic expectations.

I was on an antagonist protocol with low doses of everything (37.5 of menopur and an equivalent dose of gonal f). I was borderline PCOS, and he was concerned that I would develop OHHS. Because of that, he kept my meds lower, believing that fewer eggs would mean higher quality. He was right- out of 12 eggs, we ended up with 5 PGT normal embryos.

Dr. Greene took the time to explain everything, multiple times, if needed in order to give us the level of understanding we wished for...We were given the option for a multiple embryo transfer...Every thought process of ours was critical to him, even just talking out what-if scenarios that were very unlikely but needed discussed for peace of mind. In follow-up appointments, he remembered personal things about us that made us feel important, and memorable, and human
the initial IVF protocol that includes PGT-A screening, ICSI, and frozen embryo transfer (FET): is $17,875 Anesthesia: ~$400 Medications over our entire cycles probably ~$3000-5000...[the Conceptions Reproductive staff] goes above and beyond to ask questions to make you feel comfortable and that your experience is a great one...My anesthesiologist was so friendly and jovial. I've never been put under before so he explained everything so clearly and concisely about what would happen, it would feel like, what he was doing/would do
How was your experience with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Due to the Covid pandemic, 90% of all our appointments were via telehealth appointments, but he made sure they were warm and inviting and friendly. Even with a technological setback where we couldn't get volume to work, he called in on our landline to speak with us while presenting the slides on the computer.
The only time we got to see him in person was during our embryo transfer which was amazing, and made us wish we could've been in the same room with him throughout the entire process. He was genuinely excited for us, took time to explain, to encourage, to include. Everything was well communicated, he made it a point to tell us what we were looking at on the screen, made sure to pause the process (where possible) so my husband could get pictures of our little embryo being shown to us, get videos of the nurse bringing the loaded catheter in, everything that would help us remember and honor our journey.
Since you have to have a full bladder for the procedure, I was naturally a little uncomfortable and he cracked a joke that made us all laugh. I warned him that he was in a danger zone for making me laugh and if he kept it up, I might accidentally pee on him. He laughed even more and said that "I fully believe laughter is good for the soul. If laughing gets you this baby and gets me soaked, I'm fully willing to take that one for you!"
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Ask him anything. I have a crazy good immune system and hardly ever get sick and, although I "knew" the answer, I needed his professional reassurance that it wasn't my own body working against me for the failed natural conception or IUIs. He took so much time and explained how my immune system was such a good thing in this case and went into the process of immune issues that would cause problems just so that I would have peace of mind.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Dr. Greene took the time to explain everything, multiple times, if needed in order to give us the level of understanding we wished for. He willingly (and unasked for) tied in artificial insemination of cattle (of which my husband is well versed) into our process to draw parallels we could understand.
Our previous doctor would skip over things, seemingly write us off as ignorant and not even knowing the basics of conception, and our questions unimportant, but not with Dr. Greene. Every thought process of ours was critical to him, even just talking out what-if scenarios that were very unlikely but needed discussed for peace of mind.
In follow-up appointments, he remembered personal things about us that made us feel important, and memorable, and human and that we were not only patients, but friends he cared about helping.
Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
Egg retrieval:
Menopur 75 units subcutaneously daily as directed (for 15 days, I think)
Gonal-f RFF Inject 75- 450iu subcutaneously daily as directed (don't remember the length of time)
Ganirelix Acetate 250 mcg, Inject subcutaneously daily as directed
Leuprolide - Inject 4mg (0.8ml) subcutaneously at the appropriate time as directed for trigger and repeat the same dose 12 hours later
Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), 1000- 10000iu IM as directed for trigger
For the FET cycle:
Birth control pills for 24 days. Active pills only, no placebo.
Lupron for 27 days, 10 units.
On Day 1 of the cycle: baby Aspirin (81 mg), Metformin, Vitamin D, and prenatal vitamin throughout the first 3 trimesters, stopping at the advice of my OBGYN.
Pregnyl 10000 units, Inject 5000 units IM for trigger before transfer
Estrace 2 mg tablet, altered between dosages and whether orally or vaginally until desired hormone level was reached
Vivelle-Dot 0.1 mg patches, Applied anywhere from 2-4 patches for the first trimester per doctor's orders
Progesterone in Sesame Oil 50 mg, Inject 1.5 ml intramuscular for first trimester, slowly weaning off per doctor's orders
I'm sure I'm missing something, but that's as close as I can recall at the moment!
Describe your experience with your nurse at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates. (Assigned nurse: Lindsay Dole was our egg retrieval nurse, Jessica Rico was our FET nurse)
Lindsay was amazingly caring and thoughtful. I'm a really petite person and when I first walked into the office, she took one look at me said she would write an Rx for 1" needles versus the 1.5" that are usually recommended due to my small stature. It made such an amazing difference during the PIO shots!
Jessica was so kind and caring during our FET cycle. When we were confirmed pregnant and came for our 7 week appointment, she saw our names on the check in list she found out which room we were in and stopped by to congratulate us in person.
The phlebotomists were so friendly and professional. Linda was an absolute gem and I loved chatting with her during my blood draws.
Tammi and Shari would my usual ultrasound techs. Despite the fact they're all up in your business, they made sure to remain professional while not being cold or uncaring. They were warm and friendly and chatted with you in order to keep you informed of what you/they were seeing, etc. Due to Covid, my husband couldn't be in the room but they made sure to allow me to Facetime him and allow him to see/hear what was going on and answered any questions he had during the process.
For a few questions I had concerning our embryos and their disposal or storage, embryologist, Hannah, made sure to call me personally to answer my questions and tell me in real time versus an email, their process in order to calm any fears I had.
My anesthesiologist, Mr. Higgins was so friendly and jovial. I've never been put under before so he explained everything so clearly and concisely about what would happen, it would feel like, what he was doing/would do, and answered any and all questions my husband and I had. He was professional and yet still made time to get to know me -- turns out he worked in my hometown with my doctor grandfather long before I was born, as well as the doctor who delivered me!
Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Highly professional yet friendly. You feel as though you get to know the staff, and they you, and you're not just a random face in a crowd but someone they are excited to see succeed. Everyone goes above and beyond to ask questions to make you feel comfortable and that your experience is a great one.
We, honestly, breezed in and out of our cycles with no issues and were a seemingly "easy" case, so we didn't ever run into anything challenging during our time there.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
I've never kept detailed track of what cost what, but I know the initial IVF protocol that includes PGT-A screening, ICSI, and frozen embryo transfer (FET): is $17,875
Anesthesia: ~$400
Medications over our entire cycles probably ~$3000-5000
Acupuncture for transfer day - $100
Embryo storage fee: $62.50 a month
When speaking with the clinic's pharmacy, they recommended a program that could potentially help with payments based on income levels and went above and beyond to do everything they could to help keep costs as low as possible.
Describe Robert Greene's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
We were given the option for a multiple embryo transfer, but we would have to "plead our case" and do a good job with logical reasonings behind why we though it would be a good option, etc. before Dr. Greene would approve it for us. We didn't wish to do more than one embryo since we didn't know how my body would respond to a pregnancy, so kind of N/A for us
Doctor Greene is incredibly science-minded...sent emails with evidence/science behind his decisions. None of our appointments felt rushed, and he always was prepared with information to share and test results...I added on HGH, intralipids, and probiotics to my FET protocol. Some of these are more experimental and we discussed them together...the nurses handle everything wonderfully and he was always responsive by email...
[nurses at Conceptions Reproductive Associates] Lindsay (ER) and Jessica (FET) were so great!! They answered all of my emails...if a question was urgent the nurse line always called me back promptly. Lindsay was so reassuring during the egg retrieval process when I had a million questions...phlebotomy was amazing. No pain, always made me feel comfortable, hardly ever had to wait more than a few minutes...

Lindsay was so reassuring during the egg retrieval process when I had a million questions!
Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Strengths: phlebotomy was amazing. No pain, always made me feel comfortable, hardly ever had to wait more than a few minutes.
Weaknesses: the front office people in Littleton never wore masks when walking through the lobby or to the kitchen area. Handyman(?) also wasn’t wearing a mask walking around the office. Very disrespectful when you had ME sign a consent to not get covid or I’d be out $15,000. Front desk woman at Lafayette always wore her mask below her nose. Haven’t seen her in the last few weeks but always made me uncomfortable. I’m vaccinated and a nurse and wear my mask properly I expect that same respect from all healthcare professionals.

Describe Robert Greene's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Dr. Greene (I believe?) assessed this on a case by case basis. I initially wanted to try for twins, and after discussing the risks, I decided to go with one embryo. I am glad I trusted Dr. Greene’s advice because he is the expert.

IUI was a strait forward cycle, clomid with prenatal and estrogen/progeterone pills and ovidrel trigger shot. My FET: Lupron, Estrogen patches, PIO, Estrace, Synthroid (to control thyroids due to meds), Metformin (to control sugar levels and proven to help implantation) Prenatal with extra vit D (I have vit D deficiency), and pregnyl trigger shot. Although i had a miscarriage is was due to embryo not developing not me so dr. Greene believes next cycle will be the same.

Dr. Greene, at first seemed very professional and very sympathetic and almost like eager to help us. After 3 failed IUI treatments and being told of very high chances, [he] followed the same protocol for all 3 IUI's. It didn't make sense as to why he wouldn't change something if it didn't work the first or second time. He requested bloodwork for everything. I only saw and talked to him 2x, which were scheduled consultations with him other than that I worked directly with different nurses for everything else. He did explain PCOS diagnosis very well and I appreciated it.

No sympathy when I would call in on CD1 or when I would go in, the staff knew I was in again because I had experienced a failed cycle, it made me feel uncared for.

Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
At first we had bloodwork and tests done to diagnosis. Tests were hormone levels, ultrasounds, HSG, seman analysis for my husband m and medication was given to start period. When period started, I called on CD 1 to go in for bloodwork and an ultrasound, then after results were in I was given letrozole 5mg for 5 days. An ultrasound was scheduled on CD12 for follicle sizes. On the first round of IUI, my follicles did not grow much so they upped my dosage of letrozole to 7.5mg for another 5 days -they called this the step approach. Then I went back in on CD12 and I had one follicle size 18mm. I was told to use trigger shot the next day for IUI 36 hours later. First IUI failed. Period came and called on CD1 again, went in for bloodwork and ultrasound and was told I had a cyst size 4.6x2.7cm on left ovary, the cycle was cancelled. They told me to call when period arrived again or on CD35. I called in CD35 since no period yet, went in for bloodwork and was then given prescription provera to start period. Called CD1, went in for bloodwork and ultrasound. Letrozole at 7.5mg was given and went back on CD 12 for scan, had 3 follicles size 14,14,15 lining at 5.5 was told to trigger next day and IUI was scheduled. 2nd IUI failed. Called in on CD1 for 3rd IUI attempt, same protocol was followed. Follicles were 16,17,12 and lining was at 6.5, told to trigger next day and IUI was scheduled. 3rd IUI failed.

He [Dr. Robert Greene] recorded all our in office sessions so he was able to go back and review us. He took the time to learn about who we are and what we wanted. He was honest and shared his own experiences that made us feel like we mattered...When reviewing test results he broke it down so it was easily understood...When we had a missed miscarriage and had to have a review appointment he was a bit too blunt and seemed a bit aggravated. My husband chocked it up to just being upset about the loss too. He referred to our loss as a failed pregnancy. He did give us a plan and what we needed to do before getting the green light to try again. He was very kind when we had to have a surgery done and did not hesitate to let us try again after that. We did have to have another meeting with him after two cycles of no response. That appointment was had as he really pushed IVF, which we did not feel ready for. He did refer to our loss again as a failed attempt. Which still hurt for me and the chemical pregnancy was not even recognized. He was kind enough to let us take as much time as we need to figure out what we wanted to do. He did let us try another IUI while we were still deciding. He is very proactive when it comes to care but can be very blunt during sensitive times.

Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
For our first IUI We started with the lowest does of letrozole at the CD12 scan there was no follicle growth so instead of wasting the cycle he offered we stair step. So he upped my doseage to 75mg of letrozole. At the new CD12 scan I had responded and we proceeded to trigger that night for a CD14 IUI. He prescribed progesterone suppositories and order me to take them two days after the IUI. After our MMC he ordered for weekly blood draws until beta was zero. Once zero he ordered an SIS. After that procedure based on the results he ordered a hysteroscopy which found scar tissue and a uterine polyp which he removed. He ordered 3 weeks of healing. He kept the same letrozole dose for the next 3 IUIs. He cancelled two cycles due to poor response but did offer extra injectables that I declined.

Dr Greene always made sure we understood the course of treatment and took into consideration our vision of our complete family, not just focused on the first baby (which has yet to happen). Dr. Greene has been patient and easy to contact. When I had a miscarriage, he reached out personally to schedule our follow up and provided next steps.
Clinic is great in general but front desk staff could be more professional. Staff always seem overwhelmed and sometimes talk about other patients at the front desk. It surprised me last time I was in the clinic to hear the receptionist talking about a patients medical issue, using her name, while the waiting room had patients. The clinic also seems a little unorganized and sometimes I feel they don’t treat patients as well as they could.

based on my diagnoses and our MIF he recommended 3 (max) IUI’s and then IVF. We have done 2 IUI’s so far and have had 1 miscarriage. After additional testing Dr. Greene is suggesting IVF based on my husband and my results.

They had my husbands name incorrectly on their paperwork. When we did our IUI they were mad at us for them having the wrong name. It got sorted out but it was unnecessary and caused stressed the day of the IUI.
He [Dr. Robert Greene] recommends removal of polyps and performs the surgery himself. His nurses perform the IUI procedure. There has been a lot of waiting which is frustrating but it seems to me that he follows protocols by the book...He strongly recommends single embryo transplant which is something I have done research on and agree with...He cared about how many kids we want and tailors our therapy to what is best for us. He focused on our personal needs as a couple. He was also compassionate and seems to really care a lot.
I think the biggest concern I have with this clinic [Conceptions Reproductive Associates] is associated with a couple of paperwork related issues. For any new patients - make sure you stay on top of everything and feel free to call them with questions. The staff responds really well to any questions you may have and the nurses are easy to talk to. Just make sure you are an advocate for yourself!...
How was your experience with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
He is on top of the most recent research which is important to me. He has a personal email that he told us we can email him at any time. He even has a blog although does not update it frequently. I have only seen him twice but he is very friendly and intelligent. He seems very passionate about his career and I feel like I can absolutely trust him.

He looks at bloodwork and other tests before deciding anything. He looks at HSG, if you are able to ovulate normally, AMH, and as well as male factor. He doesn't jump into performing a biopsy to diagnose endometriosis and recommends pine bark extract which has one study stating it can help. He recommends removal of polyps and performs the surgery himself. His nurses perform the IUI procedure. There has been a lot of waiting which is frustrating but it seems to me that he follows protocols by the book.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
The nurses are wonderful. I like the fact that they perform the IUIs because they are all very gentle and I feel comfortable with them. They are good about responding to my frantic emails or calls. Sometimes some medication related things aren't done on time but if I call the office they respond right away. I really appreciate how compassionate they are. They have a lot of responsibility at this office and if you are a patient here you will get to know them well, which is great because I enjoy seeing them!

My IUI costs are about $400-500 a month plus a $600 COBRA payment. Not sure what IVF will be.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
I had one prescription that needed doctor authorization for a renewal and after a week of the pharmacy not being able to fill I called the clinic and they authorized it right away. I also did have a bit of an issue with a preauthorization form not being sent in soon enough.
I didn't see Dr. Greene as much as I would have liked, but the consultations and treatment plan meetings were very useful. He never seemed rush and always took the time to explain things in detail and answer all of my questions. I always walked away feeling very armed with knowledge about what was next. He was also very responsive to email, but I found his in person responses most thorough. I most appreciated his EXTREMELY thorough understanding
The clinic [Conceptions Reproductive Associates] clearly has individualized treatment plans and you are not just treated with a blanket protocol. However, it is still easy to feel like a number at times when you don't interact with the Dr. very often at all. However, the nurse care and organization is very thorough.... Sarah (egg retrieval nurse) and Jess (embryo transfer nurse) are great and both respond to emails very quickly and efficiently. They have been very compassionate and are continuing to cheer me on after failure.

He was also very responsive to email, but I found his in person responses most thorough. I most appreciated his EXTREMELY thorough understanding of the science and literature behind his treatment plans. He was very up to date on the most recent studies and always had something new to implement to improve his course of action. The one thing I would say that was frustrating about my experience was that Dr. Greene was extremely optimistic to the point where I felt like a freak case/failure when I didn't fall into the great success rates of the clinic. For example, he asked us how many children we would like to have (2-3) and he told us that he was very confident we would have at least 2 babies from one IVF cycle and each embryo transfer was about an 80% success rate. So, when I had 2 PGS tested embryos from round 1 fail, I felt like something was very wrong with me because I wasn't as successful as he made me feel like I would or should be be. On the other hand, in the midst of the treatment, his optimism was helpful and I always left his office excited and enthusiastic about the plan, so the optimism wasn't all bad!
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Know that even if Dr. Greene is very optimistic about the success rates of the clinic, failure does happen. Prepare your questions ahead of time to make sure you are able to remember what to ask in the limited meeting times.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Although meets with Dr. Greene were few and far between, he was very warm and kind. He had a clear understanding of our history and how it was influencing our ability to succeed. When another doctor at CCRM dismissed atypical PCOS symptoms, Dr. Greene paid attention to them and had a different treatment plan.
Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
2 IUIs with letrazole- he used letrazole instead of clomid because he found better success rates for PCOS patients. (I had 3 failed clomid cycles at CCRM prior to coming to Conceptions).
1st IVF: antagonist protocol with menopur, gonalF, cetrotide, etc. 21 eggs resulting in 2PGS normal embryos.
FET 1: hormone replacement cycle (PIO, estrodial pills and patches, lupron). Intralipid infusion, resulted in chemical pregnancy
FET2: hormone replacement cycle as above with human growth hormone (omnitrope) added, resulted in negative
2nd IVF: antagonist, similar to first with increased doses of menopur and gonal F, added human growth hormone, 19 eggs retrieved, resulted in 5 PGS normal embryos!
ERA biopsy cycle with protocol from FET1, result was pre-receptive
Waiting for FET3

Sarah (egg retrieval nurse) and Jess (embryo transfer nurse) are great and both respond to emails very quickly and efficiently. They have been very compassionate and are continuing to cheer me on after failure. They always answer all of my questions (which is a lot). I have found that finding compassionate nurses in this field is actually quite difficult, so I really appreciate them. The only criticism I have about the nursing team as a whole is that if you need something on the weekend, it's hard to get help. There is an emergency line, but what about non-emergencies? A couple times I left a message with the emergency line but still didn't hear back until the week.
Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
The clinic clearly has individualized treatment plans and you are not just treated with a blanket protocol. However, it is still easy to feel like a number at times when you don't interact with the Dr. very often at all. However, the nurse care and organization is very thorough. Sometimes it would just be nice to be assured that the Dr. reviewed the plan, etc. It is clear that the clinic is very busy and once you're ready to schedule a FET, tell your nurse immediately as dates can fill up. If you're on top of it, though, everything goes smoothly. It also seems like there is a long wait between egg retrieval and FET because they do hysteroscopy and doppler ultrasound in between. I'm not sure if this time can be shortened at all for people who are anxious to get going. As I stated before, getting help on weekends is quite difficult, but overall if you're on top of it and can anticipate questions/issues you might have before the weekend, things are OK.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
IUIs: <$1000 per cycle if I remember correctly
IVF 1 including 1 FET and PGS testing of all embryos: about $19,500 + $5000+ medications, additional $ for anesthesia, doppler ultrasound, hysteroscopy
FET2: $5100 + about $2500 in medications
IVF2 including 1 FET: about $16,000 + $8000+ medications + $2200 PGS embryo testing and ERA biopsy
Describe Robert Greene's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Dr. Greene was adamant about single embryo transfer and he explained the risk of multiple pregnancies. He also reiterated the clinic's high success rates with single embryo transfers and said the large majority of patients use PGS testing. He did say if we really wanted to have twins, then we could talk and consider transferring 2.
Dr. Greene is energetic, knowledgeable and supportive. He tells silly jokes and creates a more relaxed space even when there is tension. I appreciated that he responds directly to emails. Unfortunately after two frozen embryo transfers, we have not received the outcome we were hoping for under our care with Dr. Greene. I do not believe that. Dr. Greene is at fault for either loses.
We received a change in protocol [from Conceptions], but only through voicemail. I strongly believe that if there is a change in protocol there needs to be voice recognition of that change. Because of a problem with my phone, I did not receive the protocol change until a week later. I wish there had been more attempts to contact me through email, phone or text and a requirement that they received a confirmation from the patient that protocol needs to be changed.

Before each transfer I had pylops removed by Dr. Greene. Frozen Embryo transfers with Lupron, HCG, estrodial, progesterone in oil. In my most recent FET I was put on Metformin.

Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
The Conceptions offices were very quiet which tended to support the anxiety I was experiencing while returning to the clinic after the death of our son at 38 weeks. The front desk typically smiled and had offers of water, coffee and a few snacks. The office is newly renovated and clean.

Dr. Greene was able to diagnose my atypical PCOS...I did IUI with Letrizole and ovadril Witt donor sperm. Three tries and all were unsuccessful thus far. I was placed on Metformin, vitamin E, and a prenatal as well...Advocate for yourself. Listen to the options and make the best decision for you and your partner regardless of what he wants or thinks you to do....
staff [at Conceptions Reproductive Associates] was helpful but very much made me feel like they were just going through the motions and not really pulling for me. It was also extremely frustrating when they would give me a written prescription for medication I needed to take the same evening and not just call it in for me...When I would ask for them to just calm it in they would act like it was a HUGE inconvenience for them...I felt like they wanted me to just do IVF because it is easier to get a successful outcome
How was your experience with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Dr. Greene seemed to know what he was doing and communicated well with me and his team. It was nice to not have to see him often as this helped keep costs lower. His staff was helpful but very much made me feel like they were just going through the motions and not really pulling for me. It was also extremely frustrating when they would give me a written prescription for medication I needed to take the same evening and not just call it in for me. It was frustrating because I would be going back to work and therefore unable to get the prescription to my pharmacy in time to be able to pick it up in my way home. When I would ask for them to just calm it in they would act like it was a HUGE inconvenience for them. It’s insulting when everything is already harder than it should be. It is such a simple thing they can do to help and they choose not to. Dr. Greene was able to diagnose my atypical PCOS so that was a relief but not sure about the rest of it as we are still in process with trying to conceive.

They seemed to not know what my treatment was when I would check in. I am using donor sperm as my husband is infertile but they would always ask him to donate for IUI which was frustrating since obviously I would prefer to use his but that isn’t possible. So. Ask ally salt on an open wound.

Describe the specific things that went wrong at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
Specifically they seemed to not know what my treatment plan was several times. They also seemed to never want to call in my prescription for me.
After two failed cycles where I had 25% of my eggs mature on both cycles at retrieval, I never had any embryos make it to freeze...Dr. Greene told me that at 38 with secondary infertility my eggs were “dysmature” and suggested donor eggs. We were devastated...asked for a three day transfer. Dr. Green said no and told me that if my embryos wouldn’t make it in the lab, they would not make it in my uterus. My next clinic made blastocysts but then actually suggested freezing at day three for my final cycle. I’m currently pregnant with a day three embryo.
We spent $20k+ for the first retrieval and about $10k on the second retrieval plus $20k total on meds [at Conceptions Reproductive Associates]...advertises frozen embryo transfer success rates. This implies that you actually get an embryo from retrieval for transfer and is not indicative of per cycle success rates. I wish I had understood this when I was selecting my clinic. I would have skipped conceptions had I understood that point. For women like me with diminished ovarian reserve, embryos are hard to come by so their success rate assumes that you have made a quality embryo to transfer which never happened for me in their lab.
How was your experience with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
If you were young and have a very straightforward case, then he might be able to help you. If yours is more complicated like mine was, go to CCRM or a mini IVF clinic. After two failed cycles where I had 25% of my eggs mature on both cycles at retrieval, I never had any embryos make it to freeze.Dr. Greene told me that at 38 with secondary infertility my eggs were “dysmature” and suggested donor eggs. We were devastated. A friend suggested CCRM.
At 39, a year later, CCRM managed to get 100% of my eggs mature at retrieval by letting me follicles go larger than what Dr. Greene considers ideal and changing my protocol. We had success on our first transfer with CCRM and have three more embryos in the freezer.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Realize he has a cookie cutter approach. If you don’t fit it, they will blame your eggs. If you are a complex case or need to go outside the box, go elsewhere. We have trouble making blastocyst, and asked for a three day transfer. Dr. Green said no and told me that if my embryos wouldn’t make it in the lab, they would not make it in my uterus. My next clinic made blastocysts but then actually suggested freezing at day three for my final cycle. I’m currently pregnant with a day three embryo.

We did antagonist twice. If he had let me stim a day longer each time, we would have had more than 3 mature eggs between 2 cycles. At CCRM I had 19 mature eggs from 3 cycles. And I was a year older. Switching to microdose lupron flare at my next clinic was key for my body to produce lots of mature eggs.

He [Dr. Robert Greene] started off by ordering test to find out what we need to do...My wife was told weight loss would help and recommended gastric bypass. Which wasn't fertility but recommended by the Dr...do zero natural remedies other then lose weight...He is very knowledgeable and acts like he truly cares. But the big weakness is. In order to get you to your goal he pushes IVF which is 30k through his practice. Spend money is his main push. No alternatives or different solutions. Just push that high dollar procedure. Even though a IUI worked just as well.
30 k for ivf [at Conceptions Reproductive Associates] when other states and countries are 1/3 of the price...The nurses were great there. Kelis was very kind and straight to the point as well. The only down fall was they were rushed with the info. Like that had to go real quick. Talked real fast while providing information relayed from the Dr...alot of it wasn't covered by insurance so in rough 10k just on blood work and scans. IUI's cost 700 each time.

He started off by ordering test to find out what we need to do. Analysis of my sperm and wife's area. By doing test, ultra sounds and scans, blood work. Looking for how many eggs and follicle health and size. Monitors the process from before IUI and after and during pregnancy. Then a year of half he starred with the IUI once my wife's tubes were not blocked as initially found in test. Unblocked by natural supplements that were not used by Dr Greene. Finally got pregnant on IUI 2 lost baby 7 weeks in. Dr Greene pushed for IVF from there.

They helped get us to the point were a normal medical Dr would not have. They are knowledgable. Everything is in house except surgeries, convenient. Weaknesses are push high dollar procedures. They do zero natural remedies other then lose weight. As a new patient just expect to poked and prodded alot to get to the root of the problems. Also if you do not have coverage from insurance, expect to pay alot of money. Talking about thousands of dollars. We hit 30k and that's not including IVF. Just bunch of test, analysis, monitoring, ovarian drilling, polyp removal and 2 IUI's.

Test and blood worked varied by insurance coverage. But alot of it wasn't covered by insurance so in rough 10k just on blood work and scans. IUI's cost 700 each time. Ovarian drilling polyp removal and hospital times was 15k. My wife was told weight loss would help and recommended gastric bypass. Which wasn't fertility but recommended by the Dr. Was additional 20k since alot of it wasn't covered by insurance. Fertility right around 30k not including IVF. Additional work recommended added another 25k totaling cost 55k.
Dr. Greene was friendly and took time to meet with us to discuss our options. We didn't feel rushed in the meetings. ... We did one IUI under Dr. Greene with letrozole. It did not yield a positive pregnancy test. ... We asked about all the diagnostic tests we would need to do, but he didn't recommend some because if there was an issue, he would just recommend IVF anyway.
Conceptions is 100% ICSI. They also tried to pressure us to do carrier testing on both partners and CCS of the embryos, by saying "99% of our patients do all of these." ... I think it is unfortunate that this clinic does not require a full diagnostic workup before they do any treatments. I feel we wasted 6+ months due to this and my polyps and blood flow issue that were not looked for and found.
How was your experience with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
We were and continue to be in the unexplained category. We asked about all the diagnostic tests we would need to do, but he didn't recommend some because if there was an issue, he would just recommend IVF anyway. However, we would prefer to have the entire workup done first to make that decision. Thus, we didn't get a full diagnostic workup before we did our first IUI and then almost started IVF at this clinic. Luckily, before starting IVF, we moved to a different clinic, who did a full workup which showed a couple minor issues. I really feel you need the entire picture before you waste your time and money on IUI or IVF, but that wasn't done here. I felt pressure to go the IVF route from the very first meeting, although I am young and have no major hurdles we are aware of yet.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Ask for all possible diagnostics tests to be done before doing any procedures. I had two polyps that had to be removed, but that was found by my second doctor before my second IUI. If there is a possibility that these issues are lingering, why spend money and time on treatments without having a full picture of what could be an issue?

I had no issues with the Conceptions nursing staff. I did have much more cramping with my IUI at Conceptions versus my second clinic. I attribute this to the quality of the procedure done by the nurse.
Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
I think it is unfortunate that this clinic does not require a full diagnostic workup before they do any treatments. I feel we wasted 6+ months due to this and my polyps and blood flow issue that were not looked for and found. They also claim to be there to tailor your fertility program to your specific wants and needs, but that was not the case with our preliminary IVF discussions. We did not want to do ICSI, at least on our first IVF cycle. We are young and don't have male factor. However, Conceptions is 100% ICSI. They also tried to pressure us to do carrier testing on both partners and CCS of the embryos, by saying "99% of our patients do all of these." This is the ultimate reason we left the clinic. Why have a 100% policy (like ICSI) when each patient's issues/wants are so different? We found a completely different atmosphere at our second clinic, where they allowed a completely tailored approach to our IVF protocol. We are very grateful the 100% ICSI policy pushed us to our new doctor and clinic.
I had 2 rounds of treatment, after the first round we discovered an egg health issue that we did not know about previous to having embryos PGS tested. ... He [Dr. Greene] was always willing to cover treatment options and plans in as much detail as we wanted. He also provided material on extra supplements and research that has been show to help with fertility. He never had me do something in my treatment without providing an explanation about why I was doing it. ...
Conceptions [Repro Assoc] was all very organized and always running on time which is nice when you go to so many appointments. ... I liked that there was more than one clinic and I could go to whichever one was most convenient for all the testing. The staff was also very friendly. ...The clinic recommends eSET because of all of the testing done on the embryo and uterus before hand the live birth rate is very high and the goal is for a healthy baby and a single embryo transfer has a higher chance of a healthy live birth.

He also provided material on extra supplements and research that has been show to help with fertility. He never had me do something in my treatment without providing an explanation about why I was doing it.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Come prepared with questions and feel free to ask them.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates?
Dr Greene was very thorough in answering questions and explaining all steps of all processes to us. He was understanding when things didn't go the way we wanted them to and was sympathetic to that and was able to provide explanations. I really like his willingness to answer questions and to be available to answer questions outside of consultations.
Describe the protocols Robert Greene used in your cycles at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates and their degree of success.
I had 2 rounds of treatment, after the first round we discovered an egg health issue that we did not know about previous to having embryos PGS tested. The first round did not include any extra medications, They retrieved 18 eggs, 13 were mature, 12 were fertilized. Only 3 made it to day 5 (previously unknown egg quality issue) and 3 were sent for PGS testing, 1 was deemed "normal" Grade AB. The second round of IVF protocol was similar with the addition of Omnitrope. They retrieved 13 eggs, 9 were mature, 8 were fertilized, 4 made it to day 5 and were frozen and sent for PGS testing, 3 came back "normal".

Describe your experience with RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
I liked that there was more than one clinic and I could go to whichever one was most convenient for all the testing. The staff was also very friendly. Conceptions was all very organized and always running on time which is nice when you go to so many appointments.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Robert Greene at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
We have insurance coverage and paid around $20,000 for all testing and procedures.
Describe Robert Greene's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at RMA of Colorado - Conceptions Reproductive Associates.
The clinic recommends eSET because of all of the testing done on the embryo and uterus before hand the live birth rate is very high and the goal is for a healthy baby and a single embryo transfer has a higher chance of a healthy live birth. But they have it as an open topic of discussion.
Dr Greene was very familiar with my case right when I walked in- I could tell he had read it before I arrived and that was reassuring. He asked a lot of questions and gave us several options and helped us understand everything thoroughly before we parted. We never felt rushed and he answered any questions that arose after our meeting very promptly... we used 50 mg of Clomid for the first 4 IUIs and an ovulation predictor kit. For our last IUI we used a trigger shot and ultrasound to be more accurate. I was also taking herbal supplements that he recommended and prenatals to help egg health
The only weakness was the overall first impression. The staff [Conceptions Reproductive Associates] is great but the decor is dated and doesn't reflect the "state of the art" technology they are using. Also, there were 2 employees smoking in the parking lot when I pulled up which seemed very contradictory to everything somehow... IUIs and testing were less expensive than my own doctors- IUIs were $350ish. IVF all in would be 25-35k per round
