Dr.Pfiefer was patient, answered all my questions and was wonderful all the times I saw her...I loved that I got to see her at every monitoring appointment. Never answered the phone, I needed to leave a message and wait for a call back. Weren'table to discuss my situation or give clear instructions, and didn't send in a prescription when needed. There were several different nurses and I didn't have one assigned through that could call.

She [Dr. Pfeifer] was not a strong proponent of PGS testing so is not opposed to multiple embryo transfer of untested embryos for age > 35...She is an outstanding physician - she clearly explained our diagnosis and set up a treatment plan which worked after the second attempt. Very knowledgeable and experienced. Excellent bedside manner. Travels a lot for conference so was frequently out of the office.
A bit impersonal and feels like a machine as there are so many patients [at Weill Cornell] For severe male factor infertility, Dr. Schlegel is the pioneer of microTESE Be ready to see multiple doctors as your doctor is likely the one doing retrieval or transfer...[approx cost] About 15K per cycle...Very efficient and professional nursing staff.

Give it 3-4 attempts and then move on to another lab like CCRM if it doesn't work
